Introduction:

The Uncertain: Last Quiet Day is a 2016 point and click adventure developed by New Game Order and ported to PS4 in 2022.  You play as robot RT, who is trying to navigate a post-apocalyptic world, where humans are suspiciously absent, who nevertheless has a fascination with humans and a desire to buck its programming and find its own life.

The Uncertain: Last Quiet Day is the first chapter of a (so-far) unfinished adventure game, and ends on a bit of a cliffhanger.  You have been warned.

I have written a trophy walkthrough HERE to get you through the game.


Walkthrough:

Since there are so many missable trophies, and the game has no chapter select, I suggest just following my walkthrough.  If you don't want to, I have listed the trophies in the order you will unlock them while following my walkthrough - if you choose that road, keep Meticulous trophy_gold.png in mind, and remember that you need to get through the whole game without dying.

    In RT's house, you can find a data disk in a toolbox against a wall.  Use this data disk with the television to access its contents, then click through all of them.
  • Start the server

    You will unlock this after solving the randomized puzzle in the hospital basement that turns the server back on.
  • Check an unknown item

    MISSABLE

    In the hospital cafe, leaning against the middle table, you will find a cane.  Simply click on it for this trophy.
  • Enter the informer's apartment

    Story-related and cannot be missed.

    You will unlock this after scaling the back-alley fire escape to enter the informer's apartment.
  • Crack a safe

    Story-related and cannot be missed.

    You will unlock this after solving the randomized safe code puzzle in the informer's apartment.
  • Trick or Treat?

  • Find two unusual objects

    MISSABLE

    Outside of the apartment building are two objects you need to look at: the yellow car outside of the building, and Clementine's hat in the dumpster in the building's alley.
  • Knock on the apartment door

    MISSABLE

    In the apartment lobby, pass the stairs and continue left.  Knock on the back left door until both this trophy and Trick or Treat? trophy_silver.png unlocks (should be 5-6 times).
  • Ace

     

    Survive a pursuit

    Story-related and cannot be missed.

    You will unlock this after completing the first two driving sequences after exploring the bar's basement.  YOU CAN DIE during these sequences (thus negating Lucky dog trophy_gold.png ), so make sure you back up your save before starting.
  • Break a bottle in the bar

    MISSABLE

    The right side of the bar has a counter with several bottles.  Simply click the bottles to break them.
  • Calculate the location of the lab

    Story-related and cannot be missed.

    You will unlock this during the cutscene after disabling both jammers.
  • Discover the entrance to the lab

    Story-related and cannot be missed.

    You will unlock this after solving the three-line puzzle in the woods and using the keycard with the keycard reader outside of the cave entrance.
  • Use the decontamination chamber

    Story-related and cannot be missed.

    You will unlock this early on in your exploration of the lab.
  • Start generators

    Story-related and cannot be missed.

    You will unlock this after solving the randomized generator puzzle in the lab.
  • Admire the painting

    MISSABLE

    In the basement of the bar, you will see a chalk drawing on the ground.  Simply look at it.
  • Please, release it already!

    On the wall in the bar, you will see three posters.  Look at and interact with all three for this trophy.
  • Try on the hat

    MISSABLE

    For this trophy, you will first need to unlock Please oh pleeease! trophy_silver.png (at the very least, you need to interact with the middle poster).  Once you've done so, click on the nearby coat rack - RT will try on the hat and you'll get this trophy.
  • Check the revolver

    MISSABLE

    In the informer's apartment, simply look at the gun in the open drawer of the computer desk.
  • Express incredulity

    MISSABLE

    When you first wake up in the hospital, you will need to pass a QTE, then you'll enter a conversation with another robot.  During this conversation, your first two choices don't matter, but your third absolutely does.  Make sure your choice for that is I have to help.

    BE CAREFUL.  Some of the dialogue choices are incredibly similar, and for this trophy, you specifically need to choose HAVE to help.
  • Extract the memory chip from pilot

    MISSABLE

    While exploring the shipwreck outside of RT's house, you will restore power to a robot on the first floor.  After doing so and watching the subesquent cutscene, click the robot again to get its memory chip.  ALWAYS HANG ON TO THIS CHIP - there are a few times during the game (usually in the hospital) where you can hand it over (depending on dialogue choices).  You can still finish the game (and get the platinum) if you give the chip away, but you want to hang onto it to make the end of the game easier.
  • Escape the fire from the turrets by yourself

    MISSABLE

    This may be the most difficult trophy of the game.  Soon after unlocking That's much better! trophy_bronze.png , you will enter a room with some boxes and two turrets guarding the door on the back wall.  For this trophy, you will need to navigate through the room without dying and without using a nearby robot to help you.

    I've posted the relevant part of my walkthrough below.

    Get behind the left boxes, then when you can, go forward to the next set of boxes on the left. When both searchlights are moving to the right, run forward and to the left – you'll be in the left searchlight's beam but not in the active part that's searching for you. When you're at the front of the room, go right to the door. HERE is a video by Zombie of that particular strategy if you want visual help.
     
    Note that the turrets will lock onto you for 2-3 seconds before they start firing. You can use this to your advantage to switch up their pattern (like ducking behind the crates after they lock on). It's also possible to outrun the bullets, so you could possibly make your way to the crates on the right at the front of the room (that's how I eventually did it).
  • Pick the audio code without a hint

    MISSABLE

    In the bar is a door that is locked by an audio code.  The nearby jukebox will give you the answer, but for this trophy you will want to avoid the jukebox.  The answer is GCGF.
  • Read all notes

    MISSABLE

    Despite the trophy description, you need to read all notes AND AUDIO LOGS for this trophy.  Thankfully, there's only twelve.  In order:

    Note 1 - RT's House - on the ground in front of the couch
    Audio Log 1 - Hospital Cafe - on the left table
    Note 2 - Hospital Basement - post-it notes on the back wall of the room with the server
    Note 3 - Informer's Apartment - on the windowsill
    Audio Log 2 - Informer's Apartment - on the table
    Note 4 - Bar - on the table
    Note 5 - Bar Basement - on the ground, next to a small chalk drawing (not the drawing for Concrete painting trophy_silver.png )
    Note 6 - Jamming Location 2 - on the bed
    Audio Log 3 - Lab - past the turret door, in a room with rows of desks.  It's on the right desk of the middle row.
    Audio Log 4 - Lab - in the conference room past some lockers, on the table
    Note 7 - Lab - in the sleeping quarters, on the bench
    Note 8 - Lab - in the sleeping quarters, on the ground on the right between two red crates

    The trophy will not unlock until the cutscenes at the end of the game!
  • Pocket all balls at the pool

    MISSABLE

    In the bar, click the pool table for a few QTEs.  Successfully pass them all for this trophy.
  • Die not even once

    MISSABLE

    There are a few points in the game where RT can die.  Obviously, for this trophy, you want to avoid that.  Back up your save before the following points:

    Bar Basement - there's a dialogue line here at the end of it.  When prompted, just say RT-217P.
    Driving Sequences - there's four in total.  The first two will start after the meeting scene after the bar basement.  The final two are after accessing the bike after disabling the first jammer.
    Lab - after unlocking That's much better! trophy_bronze.png , the game will autosave.  That's when you should back up your save, and get through the turret room (see Blade Runner trophy_silver.png ).

    If you kept the chip you received in Every little helps trophy_silver.png like I recommended, you can plug it into a computer in another room past those turrets, and it will disable all of the turrets on the ship, meaning you don't have to worry about dying anymore (and making the rest of the game quicker and easier).
  • Keep silent while talking to the customer

    MISSABLE

    At the beginning of the game, eventually RT will be contacted through the TV.  Make sure every dialogue choice you make is silence, and you'll unlock this trophy.
  • Calibrate the plasma cutter

    Story-related and cannot be missed.

    In the kitchen of RT's house is a plasma cutter.  Solve the (randomized) puzzle to calibrate it and unlock this trophy.
