Step 1: The early stages
Just starting out in the sims will net you a couple trophies. First you're going to get the trophies Baby Steps and Graduated by the time you finish the tutorials the game gives you. Before you even have the need to use Karma powers you'll get Be Excellent to Each-other, I got it without even realizing it was a trophy because early on in the game there's really no need to use Karma powers. This is a short and easy step. You should complete this step within the first 10 minutes of the game.
Step 2: Getting your life on track
Now that the tutorials are out the way you should have a pretty good idea about what you're doing. You're going to now want to go out and find a job that your sim likes. Normally a sims lifetime wish will give you a good idea about what their career track should be. The reason you want to earn money early is because if you have a lot of money in the beginning of the game the rest of the trophies come extremely easily. Get promoted in your job to earn extra cash and also to earn the Climbing the Ladder trophy. The big bucks will come from writing books and such so once you work enough to buy a computer buy one and immediately begin writing books. You'll get the Sim-Author trophy and you'll also have a nice steady cash flow rolling in. This step is all about earning money and getting yourself a nice stable foundation for all the things you're going to need to buy/do in the future.
Step 3: A little bit of freedom
Now you've been working a little bit and you have some money to spend as well as a little bit of freedom. This step is where you're going to want to go for most of the miscellaneous trophies. You should have a pretty routine schedule now and your job and family should be secure giving you the perfect opportunity to go for trophies. Go for random trophies like I Double Dare Ya and Sim About Town. With this new found time in your schedule you can go for all of the relationship trophies like The Big Proposal and Woo Hoo!. Make sure that when your sim has his first love interest to get the trophy It's a Date or you will have to get it with another sim. Once you get a spouse for your sim and you have them move in with you that's when you should have your first baby to earn the Once a Parent, Always a Parent. Unless you already have a sim with the traits required for the Reviler trophy then you should make your first child a sim with the traits needed. Continue to raise your child and make sure to complete the trophy Child Prodigy so that you don't have to have another child if you don't want to.
Step 4: Skill time
Alright boys and girls now it's time to get your skills up and get the trophies related to them. You're going to want to get your sims skills up past the skills required for your job. You can earn skills with multiple sims but it may be easier to manage one very skillful sim so that you can keep track of his actions when trying to garden or make food. Get your gardening and cooking skill to level 10 to earn Expertise and to help out with the Botanical Perfection trophy as well as the Fit For a King trophy. Get your fishing skill up to 5-6 and attempt to catch a perfect fish for the Trophy Fish trophy. Getting your skills up will help you with skill journals so also go for the Leet Skillz trophy in this step.
Step 5: Big bucks
Since you had such a good steady stream of income early in the game by this point in the game you should be rich and when I say rich I mean about $400,000 rich. With money like this you should move to one of the three most expensive houses to earn the trophy Movin' On Up. Upon buying the house you will recieve the trophy Home is Where the Simoleons are. Buy expensive items and put them in your house until your house reaches the $350,000 mark to earn the trophy Master Architect. With your house being worth so much money and having so many items inside it leaves the perfect opportunity to get the trophy Pyromaniac. While the fire is going you mine as well get the trophy But it's Flammable.
Step 6: Uberchallenging and Miracle Worker
These two trophies are so big that they deserve their own section. Work your way towards Uberchallenging and you'll acquire trophies on the way such as Power Overwhelming and Not Dead Yet since both will get you challenges completed anyway. Keep looking at the challenge menu and you'll eventually get Uberchallenging. Now all you should have left is Miracle Worker. Make sure to read the trophy guide to find out the best course of action when trying to get that trophy. Using that method explained will get you about 100-150 wishes per hour. Use the mid-life crisis lifetime reward if you need to change your traits around to make them what they need to be and grind away at the wishes until you get your trophy and your platinum.
