The Outer Worlds: Peril on Gorgon is the first of two narrative expansions to the award-winning RPG from Obsidian Entertainment and Private Division. A severed arm and a mysterious message lead the crew of the Unreliable to the Gorgon Asteroid, formerly the site of one of Halcyon's most ambitious and disastrous scientific undertakings, now a lawless den of monsters and marauders. Wealthy recluse Minnie Ambrose tasks the crew with finding answers about Dr. Olivia Ambrose, her mother and the doomed project's disgraced director but they are soon ensnared in an intrigue that will change the colony forever.
In this new DLC, you'll explore new locations, meet new characters, acquire new science weapons, new armor sets and new more powerful variants of existing gear. You will also have an added level cap, up to 3 new levels! Along with the level cap comes additional new perks and flaws that you can use for your character.
The minimum recommended level to play this DLC is 20 so unless you want to restart the game and play two-thirds of it again, it is recommended that you do this DLC after reloading one of your "Point Of No Return" saves. If you haven't played this game at all before, I would suggest playing the main game either until you reach the "Point Of No Return" or you reach level 20.
If you are reloading your save, in order to get the Main Quest, you will need to travel (to anywhere but Tartarus). As soon as you do, you’ll get a call from Halcyon Delivery, then you can begin the DLC.
Step 1: Play the Story Getting Each Ending
During this step, you will need to just play through the story following my detailed instructions in Peril on Gorgon to ensure you are able to get all ending-related trophies without much reloading of save files. Also, get as much phonographs as you can going through this step to save time on the final step. If you missed one, just follow the breakdown of requirements to get that specific trophy (also found in Peril on Gorgon
).
At the end of this step, you will have these trophies:
Family Reunion
Peril at Hand
Synthesize This
The Postman
Greenlight Protocol
NDA Protocol
Peril on Gorgon
Step 2: Lucky's Body & Science Weapons
For this step, you will be looking for Lucky Montoya's body and acquiring the three science weapons in the progress, if you have not gotten them by this point. This will involve completing the Side Quest "A Dialog Between Two Men".
At the end of this step, you will have these trophies:
Lucky Stiff
Special P.E.T. Benefits
Step 3: Phonographs
For this step, you will need to collect any phonographs that you have not found yet to reach the 20 needed for the trophy.
At the end of this step, you will have these trophies:
Good Listener
