Introduction

The Lord of the Rings: Aragorn's Quest is the first Lord of the Rings videogame created specifically for kids and their families with accessible gameplay set in a friendly, colorful rendition of Middle-Earth. Players assume the role of Strider and embark on his greatest quests from The Lord of the Rings trilogy. The game offers authentic, action-oriented sword fighting, lancing and archery that all ages can play together.

Roadmap

Step 1: Playing through the story while doing Side Quests

Once you have started your game, don't worry about collecting any of the treasures. I suggest that you do all the side quests while you play through the game. If you see someone with a small map above there head then they have a quest to do. Also between each chapter go back to the shire and do the side missions there. As you can miss some if you don't.

Step 2: Collecting

Once you have finished the story and have the side quests done then its time to start collecting. Go back through each level, if you have found the Palantir (shows collectibles) then you will have an easier way to find all the Fellowship Tokens and Upgrades.

Step 3: Clean Up

If you still need to get some of the trophies like killing 2500 enemies or the kill 250 enemies with the bow I suggest you play the "The Black Gate" Chapter as this chapter has a lot of enemies. Also you can get unlimited arrows from the arrow rack.

Notes:

- This guide is based on the controller not the Move Controller.

- You will need 2 controllers to get some of the trophies.

30 trophies ( 15  9  )

  • All Trophies Collected

As always, Once you have gotten all trophies you will get this Platinum. Congratulations.

  • Defeat 100 Goblins

You will easily get this by playing through the story.

I got this trophy during the first level.

    See Middle-Earth Annihilation.

  • Defeat 100 Orcs

You will easily get this by playing through the story

I got this trophy during the 2nd level.

    See Middle-Earth Annihilation.

  • Collect all the Fellowship Tokens

All of the collectibles are scattered across each chapter. If you find the Palantir then you can see the whole region and where each token are.

  • Collect all lore items

    See The Fellowship.

  • Complete all the side quests

When playing through the chapters do every quest you come across. Also between each chapter go back to the shire to do all the side quests there as you can miss some if you don't.

If you are missing any quests, you have to do all the quests for that level over. Not just the ones you missed.

None of the Shire quests matter for this trophy.

"For this trophy, if you finish the level then you will have to start from the beginning again with doing the side quests unless you remember which one you did complete and which ones you did not. (this is important on Rivendale, as there are around 12 side quests to complete)" Credit to Steve_LWL

  • Defeat your first Hill-Troll

You fight a lot of Hill-Trolls during the game. The first one you fight is at the end of the first level.

  • Defeat 100 Uruks

If you haven't killed 100 Uruks by the end of the game, then re-play the "The Black Gate" chapter as there are a lot of each race here.

    See Middle-Earth Annihilation.

  • Defeat 1000 Enemies

    See Middle-Earth Annihilation.

  • Defeat 2500 Enemies

Getting 2500 Kills can be a hassle. But I suggest that you get all your kill trophies on the "The Black Gate" chapter as this chapter has all races (orcs, goblins, uruks, trolls). Also you can get unlimited arrows from the arrow rack. You will probably get around 150-200 kills each time you play this chapter.

  • Defeat 8 Oliphaunts

At the end of the Pelennor Fields chapter you will have to kill 8 Oliphaunts.

  • Defeat 250 enemies with Bow

    See Middle-Earth Annihilation.

  • Perform an Icon Strike

You will have to do an Icon Strike during the sword training at the shire.

  • 5 consecutive Icon Strikes

You will have to do 5 Icon Strikes in a row. An Icon strike happens when you see an arrow on the enemy. If the arrow points to the left then you strike him on the left.

The best way to do this and the easiest way I have to say is to go back to the shire. And re-play the sword stall. In the sword stall you have to use the Icon Strikes on dummies. Just hit the dummies with the different icon strikes 5 times in a row. It costs 2 silver to play the sword stall.

  • Perform 5000 sword swipes

A sword swipe is when you swing your sword to hit something. You will get this trophy as you try to kill 2500 enemies for Middle-Earth Annihilation.

  • 1000 silver coins acquired

You get silver coins by killing enemies or finishing side missions. You will get 1000 silver coins when going after the side missions. I suggest that if you want this trophy as fast as possible do the missions at the shire as they are easy to do and offer coins. Also when playing through the game hit boxes and try to find chests. Sometimes chests will have 100 silver coins in them.

Note: This trophy is not glitched. If you have 1000 silver coins but no trophy just keep getting silver coins. I got the trophy around 1050 silver coins.

  • All stalls 100% Complete

The stalls are at the shire. To complete each of the stall you have to keep winning till the guy at the stall stops paying you. Here is a little guide for each of them:

Sword Stall: Go as fast as possible. Try not to mess up. If you don't miss then you should win.

Shield Stall: Only hold up your shield when the catapults fire. When they aren't firing, keep your shield down to go faster.

Dwarf Stall: If you have the spear. Use it. Just keep attacking him with it, If he starts to block, stop and wait for him to attack then start to hit him with your spear again.
Archery Stall: Don't go into aim mode. Just hold and aim your bow at the targets

Riding Stall: For the Last Round start on the right (Charge Dummies) then go to the back and charge the dummies there. Then go to the center and attack the dummies there and finally charge the last set of dummies
  • Complete Button Mushroom quest

The Button Mushroom quest is found at the shire. If you start the gardening quest line (removing the weeds) then you will get this near the end of it. There are 12 mushrooms around the shire that you will need to find. Look near trees, bushes and rocks.

  • Complete Crow Hunting quest

The Crow Hunting quest can be found at the shire. Just keep doing quests at the shire till you get to the Crow Hunting quest. The last quest you need to do to get this trophy is when the farmer asks you to get him 10 crow feathers. To get the crow feathers just go around the shire looking for crows flying. Once you have finished the quest you will get this trophy.

  • Complete all the imaginary quests in the woods

The imaginary quests are unlocked as you progress through the story. You find these at the shire. I suggest you do these quests at the end of the game.
