Fatal strikes are useful techniques in battles. In ???? ??????(Caer Bocram), there will be a tutorial fight after which you are able to use them in battles. The opportunity to use a fatal strike shows up when you use artes from the same attack type multiple times. There are artes with red, blue and green attack types. If you have used a ???????(Magic Lens; #0041) on the enemy, you can see the remaining amount of the three types as a gauge. Once the gauge is empty, you are able to do a fatal strike. Press when there is a circle in the corresponding colour around the enemy.

Performing fatal strikes is important for ????????(Title Complete), as each character has a title for performing 100 fatal strikes. Fatal strikes that are performed from your party members controlled by the computer also count towards the 100 fatal strikes. Furthermore, Judith has a title where you have to perform overall 1,000 fatal strikes of which 200 are blue fatal strikes. The grade grinding method detailed in the Appendix can also be used to farm fatal strikes.
