Song of Memories is a Visual Novel created by Pure Wish/Future Tech Lab and published by PQube, which tells a beautiful tale of friendship and love in a time of extreme hardship. You play as Minato Kamishiro, a young man who is still at school, living in Japan with his younger sister, Fuuka. They have forged a very tight bond over the years and are supported by a lovely cast of schoolmates and friends. This game's strength is in taking the expected and making it unexpected, because it lulls you into a false sense of security before ripping the rug out from under you.

You will go into this game knowing that from now until it ends, your only job is to press and make a few dialogue choices. Due to the gameplay being fairly simple, it is probably a game that most will skip through and do only the bare minimum necessary for the Platinum but that would be a shame. This is one game that, despite the massive time difference between a Platinum you play normally and one you can skip through, we strongly encourage you to experience the entire story at least once by playing legit. You won't be disappointed!

Song of Memories provides you with so many different options throughout the game that it needs several charts to track all of the moments with different outcomes. Ultimately, you can experience 23 different endings, each one having its own tale of happiness, grief or both so sit back, get some tissues ready, enjoy the story and let the amazing soundtrack wash over you.

There aren't any hard trophies and many will come by just completing the game once but there are several that span the entire game: Nostalgic Tune , Video's Memory , Precious Memory , Happy Memory , Haremlike Situation , Worst Possible Outcome and Uneventful World . The Ends vary in difficulty from very easy (Makoto), to moderate (Yuno) to hard (Fuuka's and the Destruction End) but you will get all of them without any issue, by following our Guide and Supplements. Also note that unlike most other VN's, there aren't any trophies which require Tips to be seen so don't worry about completing the Glossary.

Spoiler Warning and Story Advisory: Most of the trophies are attached to story-related decisions and viewing the various Ends so some spoilers are unavoidable but we will keep them to a minimum. Also note there are some hard hitting topics in this game, which might trigger bad memories in certain people. If you want to know the specific moments, then please PM one of us.

Important: To avoid confusion and mistakes, we strongly suggest you follow the route and order laid out in this walkthrough and just as strongly advise against jumping around the Chart until you have completed all the Ends. To read more about this, please see our Walkthrough.

We strongly recommend completing all of a character's Ends before moving onto the next person so it will be easier to keep track of what you have and haven't done. Complete each of the characters' various playthroughs in the following order: Kanon, Fuuka, Akira, Yuno, Satsuki, Natsume and Makoto (this is also the natural in-game order, which makes things easier to keep track of). We have tried to optimise the Road Map and Supplements so you complete as many of the Arounds and Routes as possible during each playthrough, thereby minimizing the amount of Cleanup. The final 2 Ends require you to replay most of the game but by leaving them until last, you can skip through most of the dialogue since you will have already seen/read it.

Step 0: Blind playthrough and earn whatever trophies you can (optional)

We recommend doing your initial playthrough blind for the story to have maximum impact but thanks to the in-game decision Charts, it is very easy to return to any choice and change it later on.

Step 1: Kanon's Ends + All story related trophies & Song's Memories

If you followed our Guide and/or Walkthrough, then Kanon's True End will be the first playthrough you complete. Kanon has 4 different Endings so once you've finished her True End, you still have 3 other endings to experience. In total, she has 4 Ends: A True End, Normal End and 2 Bad Ends so see her respective trophies or our Walkthrough for more details. Since Kanon's story will be your first, you will also earn all of the story-related trophies in this step, leaving only the character endings and a few miscellaneous trophies to earn. The Bad Ends for all 6 girls are included in the Worst Possible Outcome trophy along with the Destruction End, meaning it won't pop until all of them have been completed but the individual True and Normal End trophies will pop after seeing the respective Ends.

Notes:

- The End related trophies won't pop until after the game reboots at the end of the respective stories but all the other trophies will pop the moment you meet the requirements.

- There isn't an Auto Save in this game but you can save at any time outside of the Neoman fights and Neighbourhood map sequences, by using Quick or Manual Saves. Quick Saves only have 1 slot but there are 100 Manual Save slots (though you only need 1 or 2 at the maximum).

- With the exception of Akira, you can set a girl's End flag at the Pool and miss all of their pink choices during the Joint Story portion of their True or Normal End route but still get the desired End if you go with the Option 1 choices during their Arounds. In Akira's case, you can't afford to mess up at all or else the Joint End will trigger instead of the Pandemic World section.

Trophies earned during this step:

Kanon Hiiragi True End Clear
Kanon Hiiragi Normal End Clear
Under the same roof
Unchanged Daily Life
Frenemy Encounter
The Idol
Scary Chairman
Cute Little Sister
Reunion
Secret Agent
The Story Begins
Shy Classmate
Meeting the Avatar
Song's Memories
First Battle
Pandemic World

Step 2: Fuuka's Ends

Once you've finished all of Kanon's Ends, it's time to do Fuuka's. She has 3 Ends in total: A True End, Normal End and 1 Bad End. As with all others, you'll need to begin a new playthrough for her True End by choosing the 10/2 block in the Chart but her other 2 Ends are much quicker to earn since they begin from the Outbreak section. See her respective trophies or our Walkthrough for more details.

Trophies earned during this step:

Fuuka Kamishiro True End Clear
Fuuka Normal End Clear

Step 3: Akira's Ends + Strongest Avatar

Akira is up next and she has 4 Ends in total: A True End, Normal End and 2 Bad Ends. As with the others, you'll need to begin a new playthrough for her True End by choosing the 10/2 block in the Chart but her other 3 Ends are much quicker to earn since all they begin from the Outbreak section. See her respective trophies or our Walkthrough for more details.

Trophies earned during this step:

Akira Tabunoki True End Clear
Akira Normal End Clear
Strongest Avatar

Step 4: Yuno's Ends

Next up is Yuno, who has 3 Ends: A True End, Normal End and 1 Bad End. As with the others, you'll need to begin a new playthrough for her True End by choosing the 10/2 block in the Chart but her other 2 Ends are much quicker to earn since they begin from the Outbreak section. See her respective trophies or our Walkthrough for more details.

Trophies earned during this step:

Yuno Wakatsuki True End Clear
Yuno Normal End Clear

Step 5: Satsuki's Ends

After finishing Yuno's playthroughs, you can move on to Satsuki. She has 3 Ends in total: A True End, Normal End and 1 Bad End. As with the others, you'll need to begin a new playthrough for her True End by choosing the 10/2 block in the Chart but her other 2 Ends are much quicker to earn since they begin from the Outbreak section. See her respective trophies or our Walkthrough for more details.

Trophies earned during this step:

Satsuki True End Clear
Satsuki Normal End Clear

Step 6: Natsume's Ends + the Precious Memory trophy

Your penultimate character is Natsume, who also has 3 Ends: A True End, Normal End and 1 Bad End. As with the others, you'll need to begin a new playthrough for her True End by choosing the 10/2 block in the Chart but her other 2 Ends are much quicker to earn since they begin from the Outbreak section. See her respective trophies or our Walkthrough for more details.

Trophies earned during this step:

Precious Memory
Natsume True End Clear
Natsume Normal End Clear
Uneventful World

Step 7: Makoto's End

The final individual character playthrough to complete is Makoto's but his End is a simple one to get and if done during this step, you can just skip through the dialogue since you will have already seen most of it before. As with all others, you need to begin a new playthrough by choosing the 10/2 block in the Chart. See either We're Definitely Friends! or our Walkthrough for more details.

Trophy earned during this step:

We're Definitely Friends!

Step 8: Destruction End

The appropriately-named Destruction End is a tough one to get by accident, because it requires you to make a very specific decision at the Pool during the 10/14 block but you'll get this End without issue by using our Guide or Walkthrough. Although you'll need to begin a new playthrough (by choosing the 10/2 block in the Chart, as always), it's a shorter route than most because it ends before the Outbreak section begins and completely skips over the Pandemic World cinematic.

Trophies earned during this step:

Worst Possible Outcome - Glitched
Tragic Occurrence

Step 9: Joint End

If all went well, by this point the last End you should have left is the Joint End. Like the Destruction End above, it's a unique type of End because the Pandemic Outbreak never happens, thus also greatly reducing the time needed to complete this. It's also unlikely you'd get this by accident but it's easy enough to achieve if you know what you're doing. Hopefully for the last time, you will need to begin a new playthrough by choosing the 10/2 block in the Chart but there are some important details about this route so be sure to check the trophy or our Walkthrough for more information.

Trophies earned during this step:

Video's Memory
Happy Memory
Uneventful World Glitched

Step 10: Cleanup

Now that you've viewed all 23 Ends, you should only be missing some Arounds and Chart decisions for the Haremlike Situation and Nostalgic Tune trophies respectively so use this step to get them. For example: For the Arounds, scrolling through the Chart should quickly tell you which ones are missing (they will be marked as "???") then you can check our list to see how to earn it. You might also be missing Precious Memory which is earned by viewing every sequel so assuming you have completed the previous Steps and seen all 6 True Ends, all you need to do is view each of them via the Sequels tab in the Album (Title Screen => Album => Sequels).

Trophies earned during this step (if you didn't get them earlier):

Nostalgic Tune
Precious Memory
Haremlike Situation
Bright Future

  • Complete every chart

This will likely be the last trophy you earn before the Platinum pops, because it involves multiple replays of each day and chapter to see every possible route. You will complete most of the Charts by following our Guide and/or Walkthrough (LINK) and completing all 23 Endings. If any choices remain, it's very easy to clean them up.

You also have to complete the Charts for the Pandemic World part of the story for each girl but, fortunately, those are far easier to clean up because the game makes it obvious where the missing/alternate choices are. Due to the size of the Joint Chart and all 6 Pandemic Outbreak Maps, we've created a Quick Reference Guide Spreadsheet in lieu of screenshots: LINK

Note: The 10/22: Morning - Joint 28 - MC's Home block shows 2 available decisions on the chart but we're unsure what the unlock requirements are, though we can 100% guarantee they will be automatically filled in by the time you have all 6 True Ends.
  • Complete every illustration

    (Collectible)

For a detailed Guide for this trophy, see our: Song of Memories - Illustrations & Arounds Guide.

Song of Memories doesn't have collectibles in the traditional sense but rather it uses Illustrations as an umbrella term for most of them except for the Sequels (Precious Memory) and Arounds (Haremlike Situation).

There are 3 types of illustrations: Event Stills, Event Scenes and Event Movies:-
    1. Event Stills are specific screenshots of important events and you can typically tell when you are viewing one in-game as it moves you to a live screen (i.e. the characters are usually moving a bit, perhaps rocking back and forth etc.) the graphics often change and there will be a brief black loading screen just before it.
    2. Event Scenes are similar and are always from the same moments as the Stills are but save as a video of the whole scene in question rather than just a screenshot.
    3. Event Movies are completely different. Some are the opening scenes, some are montages of a specific character's various Stills throughout the game, accompanied by a piece of music and the Credits, plus a couple others.
Each of these Illustrations are earned by doing the following:
    1. Getting the True and Normal Ends for each of the 6 girls (Makoto doesn't have any Stills or Scenes, just his End movie)
    2. Witnessing certain key events which can only happen after specific decisions are made during each girl's True and Normal End routes.
You can find all of the Illustrations in the Album. From the Title Screen go into Album => Press or to cycle through the Stills, Scenes or Movies tabs. You can view them by using the D-pad to select one and pressing to open it. Annoyingly, the Album doesn't list the Event Stills, Scenes and Movies in any kind of meaningful order, nor does it specifically inform you where you earned them, thus making it difficult to track which ones you have and haven't got.

You can check your completion rate for the Routes and Stills, by bringing up the Chart then checking the "Route unlock" and "Stills recon" sections at the top of the screen:

Note: The game allows you to change the background image used in the Title Screen. Early on in the game, you'll only have 1 or 2 options but you'll unlock more as you complete various playthroughs. For example: Completing the True End playthrough of any girl will give you 2 new Title Screen options. To change the image, select Options => Scroll down to Select Title Screen => Press to select Change => Pick any image then press => Press to back out and save your choice => Press again to exit to the Title Screen.
  • See every sequel

    (Collectible)

Like the Illustrations, Sequels are another type of Collectibles available in the game and there is 1 for each of the 6 girls (Kanon, Fuuka, Akira, Yuno, Satsuki and Natsume). These are short, 5-10 minute videos that fill in some of the gaps of what happened between the end of the game and each girl's True End's Epilogue cinematic so are well-worth watching. Each girl's Sequel unlocks upon completing their True End and can be accessed via the Main Menu. From the Title Screen go into Album => Press or to reach the Sequel tab, then press on each one to watch it.

The trophy will pop once you have watched all 6 Sequels (it is not enough to just play them and quit after a few seconds, you must watch them all the way through to the very end) but the order you view them in isn't important. Furthermore, you can either watch each one as soon as you complete the respective True End or wait and watch them all in one go once you're through - it's entirely up to you. Note: There is no play all feature for the Sequels, therefore you must manually select each one.
  • Clear every end

For a complete Walkthrough detailing how to get every End in the game, please see our Song of Memories - Platinum Walkthrough. Since we have a full Walkthrough, we won't list the steps in this Guide but instead will only explain a few important details underneath all the End trophies.

Song of Memories has three different types of endings: True Ends, Normal Ends and Bad Ends. In total there are 23 Ends you have to see for the Platinum (not 24 as is commonly believed).

You will have to see the following:
    • 6 True Ends (1 for each girl)
    • 7 Normal Ends (including the Joint End)
    • 9 Bad Ends (including the Destruction End)
    • 1 Makoko's End.
Each girl has 2 End-related trophies: 1 trophy for completing their True End (e.g. Fuuka Kamishiro True End Clear) and 1 trophy for completing their Normal End (e.g. Fuuka Normal End Clear). Under each True End trophy, we will list some details, including all of the pink choices necessary during the Pandemic Outbreak section. However, for the Normal Ends, there's no need for special, character-specific tips so we've condensed all relative info in the Uneventful World (see all Normal Ends) umbrella trophy. When it comes to the Bad Ends, however, there is only one trophy for them and it covers every Bad End in the game: Worst Possible Outcome.

Overall, all of the following trophies contain important details on how to view each End:

    Kanon Hiiragi True End Clear
    Fuuka Kamishiro True End Clear
    Akira Tabunoki True End Clear
    Yuno Wakatsuki True End Clear
    Satsuki True End Clear
    Natsume True End Clear
    Worst Possible Outcome
    Uneventful World
    Tragic Occurrence
    We're Definitely Friends!

Depending on if this trophy glitches or not, it will either be one of the earliest trophies you get or one of the last before popping the Platinum.
  • Pass every "Around."

    (Collectible)

Arounds are specific moments that occur on certain days after certain requirements have been met. These come from specific choices you've made throughout the game, such as choosing one character over another to walk with or making specific dialogue choices when prompted. Most Arounds will officially be completed after you see the short cutscenes that result from the choice you made but there are a small number that have no specific dialogue choice tied to them and instead are given automatically once you see that specific scene. In essence, those can be considered story-related ones and will come naturally if you are on that route.

There are a varying amount of Arounds for each character, many of which will come naturally if you follow our Walkthrough. In addition, you will notice you'll earn several Arounds for different characters, even when you're on a completely different character's route. There are a couple reasons for this happening, such as overlapping routes with certain choices but it's perfectly normal. These are few and far between but again, our Walkthrough takes everything into account so if you follow it, you have nothing to worry about. Additionally, you can only get Yuno's, Satsuki's and Natsume's Around #19 when going for either the Destruction End or Kanon's, Fuuka's or Akira's End routes, else they will be locked out due to their respective routes being set in stone. Makoto only has 1 route (compared to 3 or 4 for everyone else), therefore all of his Arounds are story-related so don't worry about them.

You can check your completion rate for the Routes and Stills, by bringing up the Chart then checking the "Route unlock" and "Stills recon" sections at the top of the screen:

No single character has access to all 19 Arounds. Despite that, they're still numbered in the same order so if a girl has 18 Arounds in total but is missing #5, it won't go 1-18; her list will still show 1-19, just without #5 being present. See below for the number of Arounds per character and which numbers they are missing:

    Tallies:

    - Kanon: 14 [Missing #s: 1, 2, 4, 17 & 19]
    - Fuuka: 11 [Missing #s: 1-3, 10, 15, 16 & 19]
    - Akira: 8 [Missing #s: 1-7, 10, 15, 16 & 19]
    - Yuno: 18 [Missing #: 18]
    - Satsuki: 18* [Missing #: 18. *Her second Around #7 is mislabeled in-game and isn't a true Around]
    - Natsume: 15 [Missing #s: 1-3 & 18]
    - Makoto: 8 [Missing #s: 8-18]

Also, if you check the Chart often, you may note that at times when you pick a choice which leads to an Around, the block might appear in your Chart but with "???"s instead of text. This is because you'll technically earn the block when you make the necessary choice but the info won't show until after the cutscene that choice led to has finished. Note: There are no Arounds in the Joint column or after the 10/30 - Morning block.

See here for our Quick Reference Guide Spreadsheet: LINK and the Platinum Walkthrough here: LINK
  • Kanon Hiiragi True End Clear

Important: To earn any character's True End, when in the Pandemic Outbreak section of the game, you must always select the PINK dialogue options when given the opportunity. You can check your in-game Outbreak Map (go to the Chart and press until you reach that character's map), see below for this character's pink choices during the Outbreak section or our Spreadsheet in Nostalgic Tune to see all the pink choices during the Outbreak section for every character.

To see the full Walkthrough for this End, please read our Song of Memories - Platinum Walkthrough. Otherwise, we will only list very important info under their respective trophies in this Guide.

4 of the 6 girls (Kanon, Fuuka, Yuno, Akira, Satsuki and Natsume) have 1 True End, 1 Normal End and 1 Bad End but Kanon and Akira have 2 Bad Ends each. All of the Ends are differentiated by the choices you make throughout the game. To get this trophy, you need to achieve Kanon's True End. If you're following our Guide and/or Walkthrough, this will be the first ending you will see. It's also entirely possible that you could even earn this while doing an initial blind playthrough as many of the correct options are obvious and hard to miss, especially since the game suggests that Kanon is the main protagonist after your own, Minato.

This end specifically is the love story between Minato and Kanon and can honestly be considered the True End to the game as a whole. To earn this or any True End (and most Ends in general), you must repeatedly choose that character, in this case Kanon, when the option arises. The point of most True Ends is that it ends in romance and, eventually, marriage. Always walking with them, helping whenever possible, complimenting them etc. is generally the route to take for this purpose. That said though, there are a few exceptions and/or unique differences in each character's route such as Fuuka's and Satsuki's.

Pink choices and notes for your Kanon's True End playthrough [Spoilers Ahead!]:

Disclaimer: The pink choices listed here are written as they appear while playing the game and not as written on the actual Charts after you have made them. This is because most of the in-game charts and dialogue are badly mis-translated so don't represent the actual decisions you make (this applies to all of the pink choices listed within the remaining characters' True End trophies as well).

    Outbreak Section: Kanon's Pink Choices:
    • Ch. 16: Raid - 11/8: MorningFight back with everything you've got. (Option 1)
    • Ch. 17: Closed World - 11/9: MorningHold her hand. (Option 1)
    • Ch. 21: Trapped - ???Wrong! (Option 1)
    • Ch. 26: The World and Kanon - 11/19: NightKill Kanon to save the world. (Option 2)

Note: We recommend you play the remainder of Kanon's playthroughs and Ends before moving on to the next character's story. You can find them all in one place in our Walkthrough.
  • Fuuka Kamishiro True End Clear

Important: To earn any character's True End, when in the Pandemic Outbreak section of the game, you must always select the PINK dialogue options when given the opportunity. You can check your in-game Outbreak Map (go to the Chart and press until you reach that character's map), see below for this character's pink choices during the Outbreak section or our Spreadsheet in Nostalgic Tune to see all the pink choices during the Outbreak section for every character.

See Kanon Hiiragi True End Clear for more information on the True Ends.

Each main character has their own story and routes, ending in very different scenarios. This trophy is for completing Fuuka's True End, the first of her story's 3 Ends. Fuuka's True End, like most, involves creating a romance but that is where the similarities end. Since Fuuka is Minato's adopted sister, it's unsurprising that this ending is trickier to achieve. It's also easier to make mistakes in, because the correct choices are not always obvious. In most other True Ends, you cultivate a romance by spending as much time as possible with that character, always choosing them when the option is given. In Fuuka's, though, while you will spend more time with her here than in some other playthroughs, you will also have to make her feel jealous and lonely in the first half of the game by making dialogue decisions that appear to favour Kanon but do so without ending up on Kanon's route. Once you're in the Pandemic Outbreak section, however, it'll get much easier to discern the correct choices because there are far fewer of them.

Fuuka's route starts at 10/5 in the Night block, Joint 15.

Pink choices and notes for your Fuuka's True End playthrough [Spoilers Ahead!]:
    Outbreak Section: Fuuka's Pink Choices:
    • Ch. 14: Precious Relationship - 11/5: NightI'm more worried about you, Fuuka. (Option 2)
    • Ch. 17: Strength and Compassion - 11/8: NoonI'll bring some of it to Fuuka. (Option 1)
    • Ch. 18: Transient Days - 11/12: EveningI wish I could see more of you. (Option 2)
    • Ch. 23: Fuuka Dies - 11/21: NightHold Fuuka tight. (Option 1)
    • Ch. 26: The Final Battle - 11/22: NightKill Kanon to save Fuuka. (Option 1)

Note: We recommend you play the remainder of Fuuka's playthroughs and Ends before moving on to the next character's story. You can find them all in one place in our Walkthrough.
  • Akira Tabunoki True End Clear

Important: To earn any character's True End, when in the Pandemic Outbreak section of the game, you must always select the PINK dialogue options when given the opportunity. You can check your in-game Outbreak Map (go to the Chart and press until you reach that character's map), see below for this character's pink choices during the Outbreak section or our Spreadsheet in Nostalgic Tune to see all the pink choices during the Outbreak section for every character.

See Kanon Hiiragi True End Clear for more information on the True Ends.

Each of the main characters has their own version of the story with very different endings. To earn this trophy, you'll need to complete your first Akira playthrough and achieve her True End.

Pink choices and notes for your Akira's True End playthrough [Spoilers Ahead!]:
    Outbreak Section: Akira's Pink Choices:
    • Ch. 12: At the Mall - 11/3: MorningShare it with Satsuki. (Option 3)
    • Ch. 17: Dream Unit - 11/6: EveningDon't kill Akira. (Option 2)
    • Ch. 18: How to Save... - 11/6: EveningKill just the "Queen". (Option 2)
    • Ch. 20: Final Decision - 11/7: MorningI want to save Akira. (Option 2)

This is an easy enough End to get but there are a couple of sections at 10/10 and 10/13 where making the wrong decision will lock you out of it.

Note: We recommend you play the remainder of Akira's playthroughs and Ends before moving on to the next character's story. You can find them all in one place in our Walkthrough.
  • Yuno Wakatsuki True End Clear

Important: To earn any character's True End, when in the Pandemic Outbreak section of the game, you must always select the PINK dialogue options when given the opportunity. You can check your in-game Outbreak Map (go to the Chart and press until you reach that character's map), see below for this character's pink choices during the Outbreak section or our Spreadsheet in Nostalgic Tune to see all the pink choices during the Outbreak section for every character.

See Kanon Hiiragi True End Clear for more information on the True Ends.

Pink choices and notes for your Yuno's True End playthrough [Spoilers Ahead!]:
    Outbreak Section: Yuno's Pink Choices:
    • Ch. 14: Where is Yuno? - 10/30: NoonThe gym. (Option 2)
    • Ch. 15: Souvenir for Yuno - 11/1: NoonSomething spicy. (Option 2)
    • Ch. 18: Different Sadnesses - 11/5: NightYell at Akira. (Option 1)
    • Ch. 24: Yuno is Cornered - 11/11: NightBecause Fuuka went berserk. (Option 2)
    • Ch. 25: What should I do? - 11/11: NightSave both Kanon and Yuno. (Option 1)

Yuno's True End is one of the easiest, because her decisions are mostly common sense if you have been paying attention to the story but the Yuno 1, Yuno 7, Yuno 10 and Yuno: Chapter 18 decisions might trip you up since those answers aren't as clear cut as the others.

Note: We recommend you play the remainder of Yuno's playthroughs and Ends before moving on to the next character's story. You can find them all in one place in our Walkthrough.
  • Satsuki True End Clear

Important: To earn any character's True End, when in the Pandemic Outbreak section of the game, you must always select the PINK dialogue options when given the opportunity. You can check your in-game Outbreak Map (go to the Chart and press until you reach that character's map), see below for this character's pink choices during the Outbreak section or our Spreadsheet in Nostalgic Tune to see all the pink choices during the Outbreak section for every character.

See Kanon Hiiragi True End Clear for more information on the True Ends.

Satsuki has the easiest Ends to get, because all of her True End choices are pretty obvious (especially if you've been paying attention to the story) and it's hard to fall out of her route. The only hard part is getting onto Satsuki's Route in the first place, because there are 3 points where the game doesn't let you choose to meet her on purpose so you have to do it by accident i.e. at 10/3, 10/5 and 10/17 by choosing the "Invite no one" and "Arcade" options.

Pink choices and notes for your Satsuki's True End playthrough [Spoilers Ahead!]:
    Outbreak Section: Satsuki's Pink Choices:
    • Ch. 15: Missing Person - 11/5: NoonLook for her together. (Option 3)
    • Ch. 17: Trust - 11/7: EveningWatch the stars with me. (Option 1)
    • Ch. 18: A Choice Thrust Upon Me - 11/8: NoonSave Satsuki. (Option 2)

Note: We recommend you play the remainder of Satsuki's playthroughs and Ends before moving on to the next character's story. You can find them all in one place in our Walkthrough.
  • Natsume True End Clear

Important: To earn any character's True End, when in the Pandemic Outbreak section of the game, you must always select the PINK dialogue options when given the opportunity. You can check your in-game Outbreak Map (go to the Chart and press until you reach that character's map), see below for this character's pink choices during the Outbreak section or our Spreadsheet in Nostalgic Tune to see all the pink choices during the Outbreak section for every character.

See Kanon Hiiragi True End Clear for more information on the True Ends.

Natsume's True End is another easy one, because all you have to do is spend as much time as possible with her and say encouraging things to boost her confidence. The only tricky points are at the 10/10 - Post-class block and during Chapters 14 and 17, since the obvious decisions aren't so clear cut.

Pink choices and notes for your Natsume's True End playthrough [Spoilers Ahead!]:
    Outbreak Section: Natsume's Pink Choices:
    • Ch. 14: Natsume's Truth - 11/7: NoonThanks for saving us. (Option 2)
    • Ch. 14: Natsume's Truth - 11/7: NoonI don't want to believe it. (Option 1)
    • Ch. 17: Waiting Impatiently - 11/11: EveningTell her, "Welcome Home". (Option 1)
    • Ch. 18: Invisible Roommate - 11/11: NightPump up the pros and cons of Natsume staying. (Option 1)
    • Ch. 24: Late Night Hospital - 11/17: NightHelp her? (Option 1)

Note: We recommend you play the remainder of Natsume's playthroughs and Ends before moving on to the next character's story. You can find them all in one place in our Walkthrough.

  • Collect every Dream 4 You song

    (Collectible)

See First Battle to learn more about using these Songs in battles.

Dream 4 You (usually just called D4U) are your AI companions that help keep you safe by defeating the Neomen and who also help ease Kanon's illness. They do this through their Songs, which can be used both as attacks or as heals. Each of the 5 members have their own Song list and when you first begin the game, you'll only start out with 2 Songs each: 1 Attack Song and 1 Get Well (heal). However, to collect this trophy, you'll need to learn all Songs in the game. You'll earn more over the course of the game by levelling up your D4U girls. The only way to do this is through fighting the Neomen, which you'll have plenty of so don't worry about grinding or anything like that. Just remember to always choose Fight or Skip when you face a Neomen and you'll earn this in no time. You will unlock the final Songs at level 14, earning you this trophy. Assuming you don't Retreat from any battles, the trophy should pop during your 2nd playthrough.

Note: Skip is usually the best option, because you will still earn XP without losing any health so save a lot of time in the long run. Just don't choose Retreat, because it's the only option that won't earn you any XP. Since using Skip will instantly complete the battle and give you the XP with zero effort, Retreat should only be used during the handful of times we specify to use it.

Each D4U girl has 5 Songs in total:
    • 1 Get Well (automatically learned at the start).
    • 3 Songs which you'll learn:
      1. 1 single-target version (indicated by the sword icon and will be Lv.1 in strength) and
      2. 1 multi-target/Area of Effect version (indicated by the blue water-like icon and will be Lv.2 in strength).
    • 1 Unique Element Song which you'll earn last (Azumi is Fire, Tsukasa is Water, Mizaki is Wind, Riko is Lightning and Karin is Earth. You can usually tell by their hair color).
Their Element Songs are multi-target songs and are their strongest but also the absolute hardest to play manually. This is because they are either 2 or 3 songs in length, are much faster and more involved and are the only Songs that use 2 buttons. For example and instead of just .

You can check which songs you have unlocked by loading a save then going: => D4U Status => Tap or to check each girl and which songs they have available.

See below for the full list of D4U's songs:
Songs marked with an "*" are the default ones you start the game with:-

    Azumi:
    • Cheer up!*
    • Our Symphony
    • Sunshine Just For You
    • Fire's Melody
    • Get Well*

    Tsukasa:
    • Beyond The Wave*
    • Miracle on the Water
    • Water Lily Labyrinth
    • Water's Melody
    • Get Well*

    Misaki:
    • Resolve!*
    • Singing Breeze
    • Subliminal Melody
    • Wind's Melody
    • Get Well*

    Riko:
    • Save the Soul*
    • Lightning Heart
    • Crashing Thunder
    • Thunder's Melody
    • Get Well*

    Karin:
    • To You…*
    • Dream Vision
    • Trail Contrail
    • Earth's Melody
    • Get Well*
  • Kanon moves in

    Story related, can't be missed

Kanon will move in with Minato and Fuuka during the 10/7 Morning block but the trophy won't pop until the party during the 10/8 Morning block.
  • All Dream 4 You levels are highest

See First Battle to learn more about the battle system.

Every time you face off against Neomen, when you use Fight or Skip, you will earn experience points (XP). The exact amount is unknown but after every few fights you complete, you will level up. Levelling up increases your strength but it also increases the Song difficulty and enemy's strength as well. In addition, every few levels you earn will also unlock new Songs to use in battle (see Song's Memories for the full list).

To earn this trophy, all of the D4U Girls need to reach max level, which is level 15. Thankfully, no matter which girl is chosen for any fight, all of the girls will be given equal amounts of XP at the successful conclusion of every battle, even for those who did not participate. Once you have earned enough XP, this trophy will pop immediately upon reaching level 15. Although this is technically doable in one playthrough if you were to grind XP, there is absolutely no reason to do so. You will need to complete many playthroughs to earn the Platinum and, providing you don't Retreat from any fights, you will easily earn this trophy during your 2nd or 3rd playthrough at most with absolutely no need to grind or intentionally search out Neomen to fight. Just remember to use Skip in battles and you'll get this in no time.

Note: In addition to XP and levels, the D4U girls also have an affection/affinity rating system, though it is unclear if this system has any effects on the story or battles. The only benefit we know of seems to be that reaching their max affection rating unlocks 3 brief video messages sent by each girl. While these videos are not needed for any trophy, we still recommend watching them because they add a little more backstory and depth to the D4U girls. The only way to increase their affinity ratings is by choosing them throughout the game when prompted. If you look at our Walkthrough (LINK), you'll note that we have put a different girl for each of the first 5 playthroughs so if you are following our guide, you will unlock these naturally along the way, allowing you to experience everything the game has to offer.

You can view their current affinity rating via the Title Screen: Album => Press or to the D4U Chat tab. Once there, look at the musical notes/stars to the left of each girl and see how many there are, with 1 being the lowest amount of affection and 9 being the maximum. Underneath each girl will be the 3 video messages. The first will unlock at 3 stars, the second at 6 and the third at 9.

  • Get every Bad End

    GLITCHED:

Doing the Destruction End last has a chance to glitch this trophy, thus forcing you to re-watch another Bad End to pop it. If you follow our Walkthrough, where we place it before the Joint Normal End, it should pop at the correct time. Please see our complete Platinum Walkthrough Supplement for a detailed Guide that will walk you through all the Ends in the game: LINK.

Song of Memories has three different types of endings: True Ends, Normal Ends and Bad Ends. Bad Ends are the only kind of ending that any character can have more than one of. Of the 23 different endings in the game, there are 9 Bad Ends in total, not 10 as is commonly believed:

    - 8 of the Bad Ends are obtained by making specific decisions during the Pandemic Outbreak part of the story for each girl.

    - The final Bad End is obtained by following the True End route for any of the Girls but choosing Makoto when you go to the Pool during the 10/14 block, then resuming the True End route for your chosen girl. If you get it right, then you'll skip the Pandemic World cinematic and go straight to the 10/31 block at Joint 34.
  • We all went to the pool.

    Story related, can't be missed

This event happens at 10/14 in the Joint 26 - All day block and is the single most crucial moment on your journey to the Ends for each character so make sure you pick the relevant person when the option appears. Failing to pick the correct character will see you get either the Joint or Destruction Ends instead of progressing to the True/Normal End route for your chosen character.
  • Makoto Asukaya appears

    Story related, can't be missed

You will earn this almost immediately on starting a new game, once Minato's friend "Makoto" appears on-screen.
  • Yuno Wakatsuki appears

    Story related, can't be missed

This will unlock almost immediately after Scary Chairman, when Yuno appears and speaks to Satsuki.
  • Satsuki Tsushima appears

    Story related, can't be missed

This will unlock shortly after Frenemy Encounter when Satsuki appears and then gives you and Makoto an earful for distracting Yuno whilst she's trying to practice her Gymnastics routine for the upcoming championships.
  • Fuuka Kamishiro appears

    Story related, can't be missed

This event happens soon after the The Idol trophy pops, when the game auto-transitions to the Train Station and Fuuka appears.
  • with Kanon Hiiragi

    Story related, can't be missed

This will unlock soon after Cute Little Sister, when Minato and Fuuka go to the Hospital to see their friend Kanon (press when the Hospital Hallway comes up, to move on to the next section and pop the trophy).
  • Akira Tabunoki appears

    Story related, can't be missed

This will happen during the 10/8 Evening block, soon after making the decision as to if Kaori should stay or go. Akira will appear at the Kamishiro residence and try to get Kanon to fill in a survey.
  • The game's opening plays again

    Story related, can't be missed

Note: The description for this trophy is misleading and should actually say "The game's opening plays" because unlike a lot of other VN's, there is no opening cinematic during either the disc bootup sequence or after pressing Start.
The opening cutscene will play once the scene between Minato, Fuuka and Kanon at the hospital has finished but you can skip it by pressing .
  • Natsume Kurihara appears

    Story related, can't be missed

Natsume will appear during 10/3 at Joint 7 in the Post-class block, after the scenes with Satsuki, Yuno and Makoto have finished.
  • Get Dream Unit

    Story related, can't be missed

This event will happen during 10/5 at Joint 15 in the Night block, after Minato unpacks Kanon's belongings and finds the Dream Unit amongst them.
  • First battle

    Story related, can't be missed

Throughout the game but especially towards the end of the first Academy section near the start of the story, you will occasionally have to face and defeat the Neomen (which are this game's equivalent of zombies). However, as a VN, the battle system in this game is unique. Rather than real time combat or even turn based, this game's battle system is somewhat similar to rhythm tap games (e.g. Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone) but much easier. This trophy will trigger the first time you complete a fight (see the bottom of this Walkthrough for exact details on when your first fight will occur).

When fights begin, you will be presented with three options: Fight, Retreat and Skip. If you choose Fight, you will be put in a separate battle field and a random D4U girl will be chosen (you cannot control which D4U girl you will fight with). At level 1, you will only have three options: 1 Song Attack, 1 Get Well (essentially a Heal) and 1 Retreat. At higher levels, you will learn other Songs (see Song's Memories for the full list) but it is unclear whether there are any differences between the Songs, such as a power difference. Currently the only differences are whether a Song is a single-target attack (sword icon) or multi-target (blue water icon). In addition, at the start of each attack, you will have the option to set the fight to Auto by pressing , which will cause the game to automatically run through the Attack on its own, successfully pressing each button as it comes up.

If you choose to fight the Neoman yourself, please note that the higher your level, the harder the Songs get and the more complicated the button combos will be. It starts out quite easy, though. Essentially, as the D4U girl is singing, you will be prompted to hit at the right moment, when the circle around it shrinks and reaches the icon. In this way, it is the same as a rhythm tap game but it's easier because you only need to focus on pressing just one button (usually though sometimes otherwise, mainly in future playthroughs) instead of multiple ones. The only multiple-button song will be the elemental Melody Songs, which are the last ones you learn. See Song's Memories for more details. If you complete the song with approximately 2 or fewer mistakes, you will almost certainly kill the monster with just one attack but if you make multiple mistakes, you will need two or more attacks to kill it. That said, the monsters also become a lot harder as you become stronger so in your later playthroughs, you will need multiple perfect Songs to kill one Neoman and it continues to increase with every playthrough.

Despite what most people would expect, choosing Skip will still reward you with full XP because you are not actually skipping the fight but rather only skipping the animation of it. It's essentially the same thing as if you were to choose Fight and then Auto. However, that is not the case if you choose Retreat. Instead, Retreat will simply cause you to avoid the fight altogether and take damage. Since choosing "Skip" still gives you XP and has absolutely no downside, there is zero reason to ever choose Retreat.
Your first fight will happen during the 10/6 Night block at Joint 18. After some dialogue, a Neoman will suddenly appear and attack you but D4U will activate and take over so either watch or skip the tutorial, press to set the Battle to Automatic, then choose an ability. The trophy will pop after the battle is over but if your first attack doesn't kill the monster, you will have to try again.

Note: There is no Autoplay while the situation is being explained to you, thus you will have to press to skip through the dialogue and the end results screen.
  • Get all the normal Ends

    GLITCHED IN A GOOD WAY

Although it requires you to complete all 7 Normal Ends in the game, completing the Joint End causes this trophy to pop even if you haven't done any other Normal Ends. Song of Memories has 3 different types of endings: True Ends, Normal Ends and Bad Ends. Every girl has a Normal End, as does the Joint Story. Of the 23 Ends in the game, 7 are Normal Ends so please see our complete Platinum Walkthrough Supplement for a detailed Guide to all the Ends in the game: LINK
  • Get Makoto's End.

Makoto's End is a very easy one to get, just choose him at every opportunity (which is usually at the School Gate) and avoid making choices that favour the girls. Please see our complete Platinum Walkthrough Supplement for a detailed Guide to all the Ends in the game: LINK
  • The whole Kamishiro family is killed

This trophy will pop once you reach the 10/31 Morning block and see the Destruction End. Please see our Platinum Walkthrough Supplement for a detailed Guide to this and all the other Ends: LINK
  • The Dream 4 You opening plays again

Story related and can't be missed, if going for any of the Ends belonging to the 6 Girls.

Depending on which girl you choose, this event will trigger at the end of either 10/27 or 10/31 if you manage to set the relevant End route but do note it won't trigger if going for Makoto's End.
