Sniper Elite 3 is a third person tactical shooter set in Africa during World War II. The events of the game take place prior to those in the 2012 second instalment of the series- Sniper Elite v2. You play as the same character American OSS agent, Karl Fairburne, where you investigate a top secret "wonder weapon" enemy program that has the potential to cripple allied forces.

The trophy list consists of single player, co-op and online competitive multiplayer aspects. You will need to complete the game on the highest difficulty as well as in co-op mode, however, the difficulties stack so you will only need to play the game through twice; though you must still complete all missions on the one difficulty. For example: If you complete half the missions on Cadet and half on Sniper Elite, you will not unlock any difficulty related trophies. You will need to complete all missions on the one difficulty which will then unlock any lower level difficulty trophies. In addition to this, all trophies, including collectibles can be unlocked via chapter select. All multiplayer trophies can be obtained in private lobbies which eliminates the hassle of trying to find a lobby.

Glitches and bugs:

Note: As of Patch 1.03 the Dedicated Trophy has now been fixed. please disregard all references to the glitches relating to collectibles. I will leave existing information in the guide for reference

It’s worth noting that the in game statistics, which tracks everything from time played, number of kills etc through to your progression on finding collectibles, is glitchy/buggy and not very reliable. Your statistics will be accurately recorded, they just won't be displayed reliably so keep this in mind when you are in the Service Record menu looking at the progress of your non-collectible related trophies. Matchmaking on the PS4 version of the game has also caused a lot of troubles for people. As all online competitive trophies can be boosted in private lobbies, we suggest just finding a partner in the trophy boosting thread and unlock the trophies this way.

Please read the glitch warning in the Dedicated Soldier trophy description for more information on how this impacts collectibles. You may need to delete your save file and start again. However, the game and all collectibles can be finished quickly on Cadet difficulty. Other trophies appear to be buggy as well in regards to when they unlock but nothing major is of concern. You may need to delete the patch before playing the game to ensure that all collectible related trophies unlock without any worries. For more information I advise reading through the posts in this thread as there will probably be many others that have experienced the same problems as you: LINK

The game is known to freeze up at the main menu if you have the DLC installed. For more information I advise reading through the posts in this thread as there will probably be many others that have experienced the same problems as you: LINK

Step 1 - Complete the campaign on any difficulty whilst obtaining every collectible and completing all the optional objectives

For this Step we advise playing through the game on Sniper Elite difficulty which is the second highest difficulty. The game is not very difficult so you shouldn't have much trouble, it will also prepare you for your playthrough on Authentic difficulty. There are a total of 125 collectibles in the game and you will need to collect all of them for the Platinum. There are various trophies related to collecting each type of collectible as well.

As well as obtaining the collectibles, we also recommend you complete all of the optional objectives (18 in total). These are usually small extra requirements that compliment the main objective. You will be notified when you are assigned an optional objective then you can view them on the map screen. Sometimes you will have to trigger an optional objective yourself so see the trophy description for a Guide on how to get each one. You should also unlock numerous miscellaneous and combat related trophies as well.

At the end of this Step, you will have unlocked the following trophies:

The Gazala Gallop
Wonderwall
Through the fire…
No refuge
In the nick of time
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Ratte
Demolition Man
Pest Control Specialist
Oscar Mike
Definitely no "90-day wonder"
Tagged
This is my rifle…
Prepared for any eventuality
Tactical distractor
These are a few of my favourite things
Wait for it
Indestructible
An ode to Rube Goldberg
Time to reload
Regular soldier
Hard as nails
Casual Reader
Archivist
The gathering
Nesting instinct
A shot in the dark
Nothing is optional
Dedicated soldier

Step 2 - Complete the campaign on Authentic difficulty in co-op mode

Authentic mode is the hardest difficulty. As well as realistic bullet ballistics and deadly enemies, there are also no checkpoints. Because of this, we strongly recommend doing this playthrough with a friend in co-op so that you can revive each other if someone goes down. You should also unlock a few miscellaneous trophies that you didn't obtain in your first playthrough. You can find a co-op partner here: LINK

At the end of this Step you will have earned the following trophies:

Double the distance
Conserving oxygen
Sniping with friends
True sniper

Step 3 - Mission specific trophies

There are a total of 8 missions in the game, each with its own specific trophy. When replaying each mission we advise playing on Cadet difficulty as it will make them slightly easier, especially for the trophies related to remaining undetected.

At the end of this Step you will have unlocked the following trophies:

Charlie's Challenge
Ghost of Tobruk
Well, Well, Well
End of the 'lein'
I Fort this would be difficult
I Siwa you did there
Double Tap
Three birds, one stone
Long way down

Step 4 - Multiplayer and Challenges

The last step involves completing each of the challenge missions and obtaining all of the ribbons in multiplayer, plus playing 10 multiplayer games. Fortunately, all of the multiplayer trophies can be boosted in a private lobby with 2-3 players. The challenges can be completed on Cadet and although a bit dull at times, they aren't difficult. For more details see the specific section of the Guide.

Find a trophy boosting partner here: LINK

At the end of this Step you will have unlocked the following trophies:

You'll try anything once
Competitive streak
The Everyman
Highly Decorated

Step 5 - Cleanup

If you have any miscellaneous trophies outstanding (especially some from Step 1), head on to mission select on Cadet and clean up what you are missing.

At the end of this Step you will have unlocked the following trophy:

Platinum Trophy

Hunt the Grey Wolf DLC:

Overview:

  • Estimated trophy difficulty: 4/10 (personal opinion)
  • Offline trophies: 10 (8, 2)
  • Online trophies: 0
  • Approximate amount of time to 100%: 1-2 hours
  • Minimum number of playthroughs: 1 + mission reload
  • Number of missable trophies: 0
  • Glitched trophies:None as of patch 1.02
  • Does difficulty affect trophies?: No, the DLC can be completed on any difficulty
  • Do trophies stack?: N/A
  • Do cheat codes disable trophies?: N/A

The 'Hunt the Grey Wolf' is a pre-order bonus DLC for Sniper Elite 3. It contains a bonus single player and/ or co-op mission where you have to infiltrate the city of Tobruk and investigate whether the real Adolf Hitler will be there. The trophy list is very easy and revolves around killing Hitler in a range of different methods. As there are no trophies related to difficulty I suggest playing through the mission on Cadet.

To access the mission/DLC once you have downloaded and installed it, navigate to Campaign => Downloadable Missions => Hunt the Grey Wolf. The DLC can be played at any time, there are no prerequisites to start it.

Step 1 – Play through the mission on Cadet up until you kill Hitler

Simply play through the mission on cadet difficulty up until the point where you are given the option of two locations to snipe from at the end of the mission and make a manual save. As each trophy in the DLC is linked to killing Hitler a certain way, simply load your last save or get killed once you have unlocked each trophy because this will make you start from the previous checkpoint so you don't have to replay the entire mission.

At the end of this Step you will have unlocked the following trophies:

Sweating Bullets
In the middle
Convenience is key
Saved by the bell
No escape
Grenadier
Fast-moving target
Herr Charles

Step 2 – Clean up remaining kills/trophies

For this Step you will finish all remaining kill trophies listed in Step 1, it doesn't matter what order you complete them in. You will also correctly finish the mission by identifying Hitler as either an imposter or the real deal.

At the end of this Step you will have unlocked the following trophies:

…And stay dead!
Threat assessment

The DLC can be played in either co-op or single player.

At the end of this Step you will have unlocked the following trophies-

Living in the shadows
Nothing to lose
Surprise, surprise

Step 2 – Trophy clean up

If you failed to unlock any of the three trophies listed in Step 1, then replay the level on Cadet. At the end of this Step you should have 100% completion for this DLC.

It is also the second of the three part Save Churchill DLC series where players must prevent a plot to assassinate Winston Churchill, who was the British Prime minister from 1940-1945 and then again from 1951-1955. The second instalment of the series sees players in the outlying mountains of North Morocco, looking for a concealed facility where devastating new weapons of war are being built to form an elite unit of the Führer's most devoted soldiers. As with the first instalment of the 'Save Churchill' DLC, the mission is very short and all three trophies are very simple and can all be unlocked in a single playthrough of the mission. The DLC can be played in either co-op or single player.

You will need to have patch 1.03 installed to play this DLC. To access the mission/DLC once you have downloaded and installed it, navigate to Campaign => Downloadable Missions => Belly of the Beast.

Step 1 – Play through the mission on Cadet

You should unlock all three trophies on this Step if following the guide. Simply play through the game on Cadet difficulty to make it slightly easier. If you fail to unlock any of the trophies, then just simply retry the mission. I suggest making a manual save before attempting the Shoot to thrill trophy as you may not unlock it the first time, refer to that trophy for more details.

At the end of this Step you will have unlocked the following trophies:

Shoot to thrill
T.N.T.
Belly of the Beast

As with the previous Save Churchill DLCs the mission is quite short and all trophies can be unlocked in a single playthrough on Cadet. The mission can be played in either co-op or single player and you will need patch 1.02 installed.

To access the mission/DLC once you have downloaded and installed it, navigate to Campaign => Downloadable Missions => Confrontation.

Step 1 – Play through the mission on Cadet

You should unlock all three trophies on this step if following the guide. Simply play through the game on Cadet difficulty to make it slightly easier. 71 trophies ( 15  53  2  )

  • Win all other trophies to take your place as the world's greatest sniper

You will unlock this once you have all the other non-DLC trophies, good luck!

  • Complete Mission 1

    Story related, cannot be missed

The first mission of the game acts as a tutorial of sorts. Your main objective is to destroy the 4 gunner positions. It's best to remain unseen and take out each enemy stealthily. Press to crouch to reduce the noise you make. Also use your Welrod and go for headshots when there is noise overhead to take out the enemies quickly and silently. Once you have destroyed all 4 gunners, a cutscene will begin and the trophy will unlock.

  • Complete Mission 2

    Story related, cannot be missed

The second mission of the game is Gaberoun. You will need to kill 4 Officers and search the bodies as part of the main objectives on the mission. There are numerous enemies in the mission so make sure you relocate after each kill or only shoot when there are noises overhead to muffle your sound. Once you kill the final officer and exit through a gateway, a cutscene begins and the trophy will unlock.

  • Complete Mission 3

    Story related, cannot be missed

During Mission 3 - Halfaya Pass you will have to take out 3 mounted rockets spread out throughout the level. These are guarded by many enemies so take your time and always remember to relocate if you're seen. At the end of the mission you will have to destroy a tank, the easiest way to destroy it is with dynamite. Vault out the window from the building directly next to where it stops and crawl around to the front, plant the dynamite and quickly run to cover. Now shoot the dynamite from a distance to blow up the tank. Proceed to the end of the level to finish the mission and unlock the trophy.

  • Complete Mission 4

    Story related, cannot be missed.

For Mission 4 - Fort Rigugio you will need to make your way into the fort and free a prisoner. You will need to kill a specific guard to retrieve the key to open his cell. There are many enemies so be sure to take them out one at a time, lure them closer to you by throwing rocks and use your Welrod to silently headshot them. The mission ends after you have freed the prisoner and covered him while he escapes. Once the cutscene at the end of the mission finishes, the trophy will unlock.

  • Complete Mission 5

    Story related, cannot be missed

For Mission 5 - Siwa Oasis you will have to make your way into the fort structure and find an officer to obtain some important information off him. You will start off outside in some fields, and will work your way into the fort via one of three possible entrances. You will then make your way through the inside of the fort until you reach a vantage point. Now you will have to tag and tail the correct officer before killing him and stealing the information from his body. Afterwards, you will have to destroy a tank which can easily be done by placing 2 Land Mines in front of its path. Once you kill the 2 snipers after the cutscene the mission will end and you will unlock the trophy. The mission isn't very difficult with lots of room to run away and hide from the enemies if you get detected.

  • Complete Mission 6

    Story related, cannot be missed

In this mission you will be attempting to access a safe hidden away and guarded inside some ruins built into the side of a mountain. There and numerous enemies and an armoured vehicle to deal with but the map is large so you should be able to stealthily make your way past most of the enemies. Once you have entered the ruins and found the safe, you discover that you will need a combination to open it. To do this you have to kill an officer and loot his body to find the combination. Once you have done this a tank will spawn but it is easily destroyed by placing land mines in it's path. You will then you return to the safe to open it to find a video film showing you the 'wonder weapon' in development. The trophy will unlock after you have then made your way over to your friend to complete the mission. There will be snipers on the way over so be alert.

  • Complete Mission 7

    Story related, cannot be missed.

Mission 7 - Pont Du Fahs Airfield is a pretty tough mission as there are many enemies (including snipers) and tanks in the level. From your starting point, you have to make your way in to one of the hangars that line the runway and from there go underground in to the bunker below. Once inside you need to retrieve a map that reveals the location of the 'wonder weapon' being constructed. You then need to make your way over to a sniper nest to defend your allies from afar before having to destroy 2 tanks driving around the airfield. As usual try and not engage numerous enemies at once, use your rock to lure enemies closer and the Welrod to take them out silently. Once the cutscene at the end of the mission has finished the trophy will unlock.

  • Complete Mission 8

    Story related, cannot be missed

In the final mission of the game you will start on a mountain trail and descend to enter the secret bunker and destroy the "wonder weapon" operation. The map is quite linear and there are a high number of enemies, so you will need to try and stay back to pick of enemies individually before advancing. After progressing through the workshops you will find encounter the 'wonder weapon' in production and have to plant a series of explosives on the warehouse pillars. Once you have detonated the charges and escaped to safety then the final cutscene will play, the trophy will unlock and you will have completed the game.

  • Relocate 100 times

If you are spotted by an enemy, the ring around their head will go red and they will engage you. If this happens you are given a distance in metres in a flashing triangle on the bottom left of the screen that you need to travel to escape. Once you have travelled the distance away, you will be notified with 'relocation successful'. Do this 100 times for the trophy.

The below images show what your HUD looks like when you have been spotted and again what it looks like once you have relocated to the required distance.

  • Kill 20 enemies by shooting explosives

This trophy is one that probably will come naturally and if it doesn't, it's very easy to farm. There are plenty of opportunities in the game to earn this by shooting explosive barrels, fuel tanks etc (see An Ode to Rube Goldberg for an example).

If you want to use your own equipment, the best explosive to use for this trophy is dynamite because it can't be set off by an enemy walking near it. When you are attempting this trophy, make sure to select dynamite in your load out before you start the mission. Simply throw the dynamite towards a group of enemies, shoot it to kill them then restart the checkpoint. Repeat until the trophy unlocks.

  • Complete the campaign in co-op

Complete the story mode in co-op. You can do the missions in any order and with as many different partners as you want. We recommend doing the co-op campaign on Authentic difficulty as it is easier to do this with a friend than by yourself. For more information, please refer to True sniper.

  • Complete the game on Cadet difficulty

    See True sniper

  • Complete the game on Marksman difficulty

    See True sniper

  • Complete the game on Sniper Elite difficulty

    See True sniper

  • Complete the game on Authentic difficulty

Authentic difficulty is the hardest difficulty in the game. Enemies are cleverer and deal high amounts of damage, plus gravity and wind direction greatly affects bullets and you lose your mini-map, enemy awareness indicators and the ability to tag enemies and vehicles. Furthermore there are no checkpoints and you cannot make manual saves so if you die, you have to restart the mission from the beginning. Because of this we highly recommend doing this in co-op mode, you can find a partner here: LINK

    Tips:

    • Use cover wherever possible. Never leave cover if your health has not recharged as much as it can. If pinned down by enemy fire, wait for enemies to run to change position before you move.
    • Make sure to loot enemy bodies for ammo and equipment. Also, after you have cleared out an area of enemies, have a quick look for supply crates that may give you crucial supplies.
    • Be as stealthy as you can. Make sure to use environmental noise to mask shots, always pick the Welrod pistol for stealthy kills, and do not leave dead bodies lying around in the open.
    • Avoid close combat. The game is designed to give you the advantage at long range with a sniper rifle than running and gunning with an SMG.
    • Get in to the habit of being prone, it will refill your breath and steady your scope. You will also be a smaller target for enemies to shoot at.
    • In the loadout screen make sure you have equip x2 bandages and x2 med kits (which is the maximum allowed).
    • If you are really struggling, replay the mission on cadet to learn the enemy positions and when/where they spawn. This knowledge can be really helpful in preparing you for Authentic.
    • If, like we recommend, you are playing with a partner then you shouldn't get too far away from each other. If you do, then you may not be able to reach them in time to revive them if they are wounded. You will have 60 seconds to revive a downed teammate, however the timer will not appear on the screen.
    • If your health bar isn't completely full, you can get your co-op partner to kill then revive you. Doing this will replenish your health bar without having to use any healing items.
    • When relocating after being spotted, listen for a distinctive sound that indicates you have successfully relocated as there is no on-screen notification.

Note: As of Patch 1.03 the Dedicated Trophy has now been fixed. Please disregard all references to the glitches relating to collectibles. I will leave existing information in the guide for reference

    GLITCH WARNING:

There seems to be a problem with statistics being recorded for collectibles. You may find all collectibles and completed all optional objectives and still not have the corresponding required completion percentage. There isn't a sure way to fix this problem but some below tips may help in preventing it from happening or overcoming the problem:

    • Keep note of which collectibles and optional objectives you have completed and don't rely on the in game statistics screen as this may be incorrect. The trophy may still unlock even if the campaign percentage does not read 100%.
    • Collect all collectibles and complete all optional objectives in single player before playing campaign in co-op mode.
    • Redo some levels and look for collectibles as you may have missed one causing the incorrect statistics counter.
    • Collect all collectibles whilst playing offline, not connected to the internet.
    • If all else fails then delete your saves, uninstall then reinstall the game without reinstalling the patch. Now do a speed run on Cadet and just focus on getting the collectibles, this should take 3-4 hours to complete.

In order to obtain 100% campaign completion you must finish the game, find all collectibles and complete all optional objectives. In total there are 125 collectibles in which you must collect and 18 optional objectives in which you must complete. You can check the status of your overall completion at the mission select screen at the Campaign menu of the game as well as under Statistics in the Service Record menu. All of the below listed items will be listed (except weapon parts) with your current progression for each one.

The list below covers everything that is required to achieve 100% campaign completion:

    • 60 War Diaries
    • 20 Collectible Cards
    • 22 Sniper Nests (represented by a on the map)
    • 18 Optional Objectives (represented by a on the map)
    • 15 Weapon Parts
    • 8 Long Shots

Along with Dedicated Soldier you will also unlock Casual Reader, Archivist, The gathering, Nesting instinct, A shot in the dark and Nothing is optional by completing all of the above listed items. Special thanks to PowerPyx for creating all the videos and timestamps in the link below. Please check out his supplement guide here for more information on achieving 100% completion in the campaign: LINK

  • Play 1 mission in each mode (campaign, challenges, competitive multiplayer)

For this trophy you need to complete a single mission in each of the three game modes i.e campaign, challenges and competitive multiplayer. It doesn't matter which mission you play in each mode, just as long as you complete it from start to finish. The trophy will unlock once you have completed the third game mode, which ever one that may be as the order in which you play is irrelevant.

  • Clear the mountain pass without alerting the enemy (Mission 1)

This trophy can only be obtained in Mission 1 - Siege of Tobruk. After taking out the first few enemies and blowing up the truck you will have to proceed through a mountain region and take out four enemy artillery (or Nebelwerfers). During this entire section of the mission you cannot get spotted by an enemy. The coloured ring above the enemies head can turn yellow but it cannot turn fully red as that indicates that the enemy has spotted you.

The easiest way to do this is to play the mission on Cadet difficulty as the enemies are less likely to see or hear you. Make sure you crouch by pressing and only take enemies out with either your Welrod or a stealth takedown from behind (press ). If at any point you are spotted you will have to reload your last checkpoint. As such it is advisable that you make a manual save after each kill as to reduce the amount of backtracking required if you are spotted.

For a video walkthrough of the trophy, see this video by Harry94_:

  • Hide a body in each of the wells in Gaberoun (Mission 2)

This trophy can only be obtained in Mission 2 - Gaberoun. In total there are four wells in the map in which you must throw a dead body into. In order to pick up a body stand near it and press . You can then throw the body by pressing . Wells are small stone structures that are only 1-2 metres deep and do not have any water in them. The location of each of the four wells are as follows:

    • Well #1 - This well is approximately 10 metres North-East of the location of the second officer you must kill as part of the main objective. If you are leaving his tent turn right and then the well will be beyond a small ruin.
    • Well #2 - If you continue down the dirt road after well 1 the road will turn to the right and you will come to another area of building. The well is located on the right hand side just beyond the first couple of ruined buildings.
    • Well #3 - Further along the road the path will turn right and head in a long straight direction. To your left will be a sand hill and a small enemy camp at the top, the well will be on your left just past the first ruin.
    • Well #4 - The final well is just beyond the location where you get the optional objective of destroying the trucks. As you leave this area a truck will pull up with some enemies in it. After killing them continue a little further down the road and the well will be behind a truck on your right.

For a video walkthrough of the trophy, see this video by Harry94_:

  • Find and kill the visiting General (Mission 3)

This trophy can only be obtained in Mission 3 - Halfaya Pass. In order to find the General you must complete one of the optional objectives during this mission, this involves you finding two letters in specific locations in the level. The optional objective will only begin once you get close to the first letter and pick it up. The location of the two letters are as follows-

    • Letter #1 - Shortly after the mission starts you will arrive at an area with a few buildings and some trucks on your right. Enter the building on the right and the letter will be on top of a box on the ground floor.
    • Letter #2 - The second letter is on top of a building in the area after destroying the first artillery. The building in question has a red and white radio antenna on top of it.

Once you have both letters continue to the northernmost artillery. Zoom in with your binoculars and tag all the enemies to identify which one is the General. Once you kill him, the trophy will unlock.

  • Get to the informant without being spotted (Mission 4)

This trophy can only be obtained in Mission 4 - Fort Rifugio. There are many enemies in this mission and as such it’s very easy to be spotted. As such a highly advise playing the level on Cadet difficulty as this will make it less likely that enemies will spot you. I also advise making manual saves as you progress through the mission so if you are spotted you can quickly reload your save without having to start over.

At the first large open area in front of the fort head around the left sticking to the side of the map. You will only come across a few enemies which are easy to take out stealthily. Head up the hill towards the entrance to the fort and will come across a few more enemies. Lure them close, by throwing rocks and then take them out quietly with the Welrod. Once inside the fort you will have to reach the Informants cell which is roughly in the middle on the top floor. Take your time here and slowly dispatch enemies one by one. You do not have to free the Informant from his cell, just talk to him and the trophy will unlock.

For a video walkthrough of the trophy, see this video by Harry94_:

  • Make the target officer's death look like an accident (Mission 5)

This trophy can only be obtained in Mission 5 - Siwa Oasis. At the end of the mission you will have to watch three officers and tag the correct one. Once you do this follow the correct one whilst remaining out of site and not being spotted. He will eventually stop at a location from which you can use the environmental to kill him. The officer you have to follow changes each playthrough of the mission, however the requirements are virtually the same. Once the officer stops, shoot the explosive barrel/object that will be near him. A short cutscene will then begin and you will have unlocked the trophy. We suggest making sure you have killed all other enemies in the level before you go to the location for this part of the mission. This will reduce the possibility of being spotted. If you are spotted by the officer you are following you will need to reload the last checkpoint.

For a video walkthrough of the trophy, see this video by Harry94_:

  • Incapacitate 2 vehicles in Kasserine Pass within 5 seconds (Mission 6)

This trophy can only be obtained in Mission 6 - Kasserine Pass. You should attempt this trophy on two specific trucks. These trucks are not present as soon as you start the mission, and you must do two things to get them to spawn. Firstly, you must kill all of the enemies in the map, including the armoured vehicle that circles the map. Secondly, you must destroy the Tiger Tank that attacks you toward the end of the mission. Once you have done both of these things, both trucks will spawn and they will always stop in exactly the same position.

Once you have done those two things, head to where the safe is located within the large entrance on the mountain. There will now be a truck parked out the front and one a little way up the road to the right. You need to shoot the grill on the side of each truck twice in order to incapacitate them and blow them up. Before you attempt this make a manual save in case you fail to unlock the trophy. We advise holding your breath by pressing when shooting the grills, because this will slow down time and allow for a more steady and controlled shot.

For a video walkthrough of the trophy, see this video by Harry94_:

  • Destroy all 3 bomb dumps at the same time (Mission 7)

This trophy can only be obtained in Mission 7 - Point du Fahs Airfield. On the eastern side of the map (which is the far side from where you start) there are three large bomb dumps. When you get close to them an optional objective will begin which will require you to destroy all three but to get this trophy, you must destroy all three at the exact same time.

Firstly you will need a rocket launcher (Panzerschreck) which can be found at either end of the runway, either at the top of the watch tower where the sniper nest is located or outside some green tents at the other end. Once you have the rocket launcher head to the three Bomb Dumps. You will need to make a fire next to an explosive barrel at the Southern Bomb Dump with the flint and steel item which you can equip in your weapon wheel. Once this has been placed you have 20 seconds before it explodes (a timer will appear at the bottom right of the screen). Move back and then aim your rocket launcher right between the two remaining Bomb Dumps. Once the timer for the flint and steel reaches 1 second, fire your rocket launcher. With some luck all three Bomb Dumps will explode at the one time.

Alternatively you can throw down some dynamite close to two of the Bomb Dumps and then place flint and steel near by. This will trigger both dynamites to explode, taking out two Bomb Dumps. Again when the timer gets to 1 second, shoot an explosive barrel at the third remaining Bomb Dump.

  • Throw an enemy off one of the bridges (Mission 8)

The trophy can only be obtained in Mission 8 - Ratte Factory. During the first section of the level there will be numerous green metal bridges that you need to move between to progress through the level. Simply kill an enemy and then throw his enemy off the bridge. Press to pick up a body and then press to throw it.

For a video walkthrough of the trophy, see this video by Harry94_:

  • Get 30 kills from sniper nests

There are 22 sniper nests in total located throughout the 8 missions in the game. For the exact locations, see the Dedicated Soldier trophy.

For this trophy you will need to simply kill 30 enemies whilst positioned within a sniper nest. This will likely unlock through natural progression through the story as sniper nests prove to be a great location with a view of a large area of the level.

  • Attain a rank of Sergeant (level 11)

You will need a total of 16,000 xp to attain rank of Sergeant (level 11), see Officer material for more info.

  • Attain a rank of Second Lieutenant (level 31)

In order to reach level 31 you will need 102,000 xp. You earn xp in all game modes including campaign, online competitive and challenges. If you follow our walkthrough and play 2 playthroughs you should close to level 31 or have achieved it. You can check what rank you are at any time in the mission select screen or by going to the Statistics menu under Service Record.

You earn xp from finishing objectives, collecting collectibles and killing enemies. The way in which you kill enemies can impact how much xp you earn per kill. For example: Killing an enemy with a headshot while remaining in stealth will earn you more xp, if you kill them when you have been spotted.

If you are yet to achieve level 31 by the time you have earnt all other trophies. I suggest playing through some levels on Cadet difficulty or play some challenges as there are many enemies in this game mode.

  • Kill 10 snipers before they see you

For this trophy you must kill 10 enemy snipers before they have a chance to spot or attack you. Snipers are most often located high up on cliffs and ridgelines. They can be hard to spot but their location is often given away by the reflection of light off their scope. If you kill a sniper when he has spotted you and is also shooting at you at the same time, then that kill won't count towards this trophy. Also, they must not have spotted you yet.

You may unlock this trophy through natural progression through the story. If not then you can quickly and easily farm these kills at the very beginning of Mission 7 - Pont Du Fahs Airfield. Play the level on Cadet difficulty and at the beginning of the level head down the path and to the left. Stop here and zoom straight ahead to the mountains/ridgeline in front of you. A sniper will spawn and he is very easy target. Once you kill him, reload your last save and repeat until you get the trophy.

For a video walkthrough of the trophy, see the video below by Harry94_:

  • Complete a campaign mission without being seen (excluding Tobruk)

This isn't as difficult as it sounds. An enemy can be alerted to your presence and can even be searching for you but as long as they do not know your exact location and are shooting at you'll be fine. Even if you are spotted, just restart the checkpoint and try again.

The easiest way to be unseen is to first of all use your binoculars to tag all of the enemies in an area so you don't alert any you weren’t aware of. Use the Welrod (silenced pistol) to pick enemies off at close range. Wherever possible, use the sounds in the environment to mask your shots. On Cadet, enemies do not detect you well at all so you shouldn't have difficulties earning this. The easiest mission to obtain this on is Mission 2 - Gaberoun, see this video walkthrough by PowerPyx for details:

  • Play 10 competitive multiplayer matches

For this trophy you simply have to play 10 different competitive matches from start to finish, it doesn't matter whether you win or lose the match. There are 5 different game modes in competitive multiplayer. It doesn't matter what game mode you play, the 10 matches can be a mixture of any. You can view how many matches you have played under the Multiplayer => Service Record => Statistics => Competitive menu from the home screen. The 5 different game modes include:

    • Team Deathmatch - Two teams face off against each other. There is no kill limit in the game mode, the match ends after 20 minutes.
    • Deathmatch - This is the same as team Deathmatch except it is free-for-all. There is no kill limit in the game mode, the match ends after 20 minutes.
    • Team Distance King - This is the same as Team Deathmatch except the team with the highest accumulative distance of kills wins the match. There is no kill limit in the game mode, the match ends after 20 minutes.
    • Distance King - This is the same as team distance king except it is free-for-all. There is no kill limit in the game mode, the match ends after 20 minutes.
    • No Cross - This is the same as Team Deathmatch except there is no close-quarters battle as each team is restricted to their own half of the map. There is no kill limit in the game mode, the match ends after 20 minutes.

Boosting method: This trophy can be obtained very quickly in a private lobby with a friend or boosting partner. Simply set up a private Deathmatch game and set the score limit to 100 (the lowest available). Arrange a place on the map to meet up, and have one player headshot kill the other with their rifle. Each kill earns 25 points so you only need 4 kills to end the game. Using this method, you can complete 10 games in as little as 20 minutes and is much quicker and easier than trying to join public games.

  • Get 20 chain reaction explosive kills

A chain reaction explosive kill is where you activate an explosion, which triggers a second explosion, which then kills an enemy. There are plentiful opportunities in the game to earn this trophy. If you do not have this trophy by the time you have finished the game, a good place to farm it is on Mission 3 - Halfaya Pass (see map screenshot below for the location). You will ascend a tower to unlock a sniper nest. Below you will be a row of unoccupied tanks, explosive barrels and fuel canisters with a number of patrolling enemies. Simply shoot one of the fuel canisters to set off a chain reaction of explosives which will kill the guards. Reload the checkpoint and repeat until you get the trophy. This location and method will also net you Make it go boom.

  • Tag 100 enemies or vehicles

To tag an enemy or vehicle press to use your binoculars. You can then zoom in and out by pressing either or . When your crosshair is on an enemy or vehicle simply press . Once an enemy is tagged you can see their movement without having to have them in sight. When you have tagged 100 different enemies and vehicles, the trophy will unlock. To check your progress navigate to the 'Service Record' menu then to 'Statistics' at the home screen. Your total number of enemies tagged is listed under 'General'.

Note: This trophy is accumulative across all levels. Furthermore, you do not need to tag 100 enemies or 100 vehicles separately because your tally is a combination of both.

  • Customize 1 rifle

For this trophy you must make customize your rifle by changing one or more of it's attachments. In total there are 15 different attachments that can be unlocked for your sniper rifle. Each attachment is considered a collectible as they must be found throughout the campaign. For their exact locations, please refer to Dedicated soldier. These attachments can be to four different parts of your rifle:

    • Scope
    • Barrel
    • Stock
    • Action

You will only need to make a single modification to your rifle to unlock this trophy, which can be done once you have completed Mission 1 - Siege of Tobruk and found the first weapon part off a certain enemy.

From the Campaign menu post mission, navigate to the Loadout menu and press to customize your rifle. Upon finding the first weapon part, you will have unlocked the 'Blue Scope'. Simply equip it and back out to the Campaign menu for the trophy to unlock.

  • Create and save 4 loadouts

You can prepare a maximum of 4 different loadouts in the game which can be used during single player and co-op. The loadout menu is accessed through the Campaign menu at the main menu of the game. Each loadout (Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and Delta) can be modified in regards to what weapons, items and attachments for your rifle you want to use. For this trophy simply edit each of the four loadouts, changing different items in each. Once you have finished back out to the Campaign menu and the trophy will unlock.

  • Get a kill with each offensive item

For this trophy you must get at least one kill with each offensive item. If you make use of the weapons and equipment across all of the game modes, this trophy should come naturally. You can view your kills for each item in Statistics => Kills. Below is a list of everything you must get a kill with:

    • Sniper Rifle
    • SMG
    • Pistol
    • Knife
    • Grenade
    • Land Mine
    • Trip Mine
    • TNT
    • S-Mine
    • Panzerschreck
  • Distract 20 enemies with flint or rocks

Rocks are available to you from the beginning of the game and you have an unlimited supply. To use them, select them from the weapon wheel, which can be accessed by holding . Once selected you throw them in the same way as a grenade i.e. hold and aim with . If an enemy hears it land, they will go into a suspicious state and will go over to investigate the noise. Rocks are very helpful to pass parts of a mission stealthily so you will want to use them often, especially on higher difficulties. You can view how many Rock Distractions you have in Statistics => Kills.

  • Kill 10 enemies with flint-triggered detonations

For this trophy you must obtain 10 kills with flint-triggered explosives. Flint is an item you will have from the very beginning of the game and similar to the 'rock', you have an unlimited supply. It works by the player placing it on the ground where it starts a small fire and attracts nearby enemies. If placed near an explosive, e.g. Dynamite or an flammable barrel, it will detonate after about 10 seconds killing all enemies in a small radius.

An easy place to farm these 10 kills is in the first mission "Siege of Tobruk". Make sure you have equipped dynamite in your loadout before starting the mission and play on Cadet to make the process slightly easier. When you advance through the mountain pass you will come to the first of four enemy artilleries (or the "Nebelwerfers"). Kill the first two guys that aren't operating the gun and then make a manual save. Proceed to move close to the artillery and place some dynamite on the ground, then place some flint close by and sneak back out of sight of the enemies. They will be attracted to the flint and when they get close by, after approximately 20 seconds the dynamite will explode killing at least 1 of the 2 enemies. Simply reload the manual save you made and do it again. You will only need to do this a few times to unlock the trophy.

For a video walkthrough of the trophy, see the video below by Harry94_:

  • Snipe enemies over a cumulative distance of a double marathon

This trophy will unlock through natural progression of the game. It will take a while but there is no need to focus on it specifically. In total you will need to snipe a total distance of 88,380 metres (i.e. 44,195 x 2). You can check your progress under the Service Record => Statistics => General menu. However, the registering of stats in this game can be a little glitchy so just use this number as a general guide.

  • Hold your breath for an hour

You hold your breath by pressing . This functions as steadying your aim which allows you to be more precise with your aiming. It also shows you where the bullet is going to hit when bullet ballistics are turned on. As with Double the distance you shouldn't have to worry about this trophy, it will unlock through natural gameplay, just be sure to make use of holding your breath as often as you can and remember that lying in prone will help you regain your breath quicker. You will find yourself using empty lung frequently on Authentic difficulty, because you have to take in to account bullet drop and wind conditions.

You can check your progress under the Service Record => Statistics => Kills menu. You will need a total of 3600 seconds of time in empty lung, which is what the game refers to as holding your breath.

  • Complete all the challenge missions

Challenges are a new game mode to Sniper Elite 3. There are three different types of challenges, two of which are co-op modes, with the third being solo. In Solo Survival and Survival (co-op) you fight against waves of enemies and in Overwatch (co-op) you play as either a spotter or a sniper and have to complete a range of objectives. Each of these game modes is pretty easy but will take quite some time to complete each one. You only have to complete 1 survival map, 1 solo survival map, and 2 Overwatch missions; one as the sniper and one as the spotter). This includes:

    • For Survival you need to complete the full 15 waves in BOTH Hellfire and Beach. You can either do both co-op, both solo, or one co-op and the other solo.
    • For Overwatch you must complete Radio Silence and Tiger Hunt. One mission you need to be the sniper and the other you need to be the operative.

Below is a detailed breakdown of what each challenge involves and some general tips to help you successfully complete all of the three challenges.

    General tips:

    • Play each challenge on Cadet difficulty as this will make the enemies weaker and you will also take less damage from enemy fire.
    • In Survival and Overwatch stay close to your co-op partner so you can easily cover each other. When enemies start to swarm your location you can easily defend one another.
    • Choose a location in which is elevated and has an ammo box close by. In Hellfire i went south over the bridge at the start and then west into the two story structure and camped on the roof.
    • Pick up a Rocket Launcher from the enemies that spawn in later rounds to destroy the tanks, otherwise you can find Land Mines in various locations around the map.
    • Don't run around the map during the middle of the wave, you have 25 seconds break between each wave so do whatever you need to do during this time. Alternatively, keep the last enemy alive and then run around and do what you need to do before starting the next wave.
    • Make use of Trip Mines and S-Mines to cover yourself as enemies will often sneak up behind you.

    Survival

In Survival mode you will have to fight consecutive waves of enemies with a co-op partner. In total there are 15 waves of enemies in which you must complete. This is divided into 5 round each consisting of 3 waves each. As you can imagine each wave gets tougher, however, if you are playing on Cadet then you won’t have many problems at all. There are two levels in which you can play - Hellfire and Beachhead. I found Hellfire to be slightly easy as there are great elevated locations for you to position yourself. You can then stay in this location the entire game even if you have been spotted, just be mindful of enemies sneaking up behind you.

    Solo Survival

The only difference between Survival and Solo Survival is that Solo Survival is single player. You still need to fight 15 waves of enemies and there are the same number of enemies per wave as there were in Survival. I suggest you use the same strategy of staying on top of a tall structure with a good elevated view of the map. As you don't have a co-op partner to cover you, the use of trip mines and S-Mines are very important to covering your back side. You shouldn’t have too much trouble though.

    Overwatch

Overwatch mode is the same as it was in Sniper Elite v2. In the lobby, you assign which player will be the sniper and which will be the operative. As the sniper you will sometimes be constrained in a small area away from the action to cover your partner from afar but sometimes you will be given free reign across the map and can either stay back or advance with your partner. As your partner does not have a sniper, you have to clear their way to the objectives so that they can safely complete them.

As the operative, it is your job to tag enemies with the binoculars so that your partner can kill them, and do the close range fighting with your SMG. You do not have a Sniper Rifle so you should leave most of the combat to your partner. As the operative, you are the one who must pick the locks to enter target buildings and complete the objectives.

  • Earn 1 of every ribbon in competitive multiplayer

In total there are 18 ribbons you must earn in competitive multiplayer. All ribbons can be earned in either Quick Play or in a Private Match (see the boosting method below). The majority of which are related to killing a certain number of enemies with different weapons. You can check the status of which ribbons you have earned under the 'Service Record' menu in the Multiplayer menu which is accessed from the starting screen of the game. Below is a complete list of all ribbons and strategies on how you can earn each one:

    - Kill 5 enemies while aiming down the sights of a rifle
    - Kill 3 enemies with traps
    - Get 3 testicle shots
    - Kill an enemy by shooting TNT or a Mine
    - Kill 3 enemies over 150m away while scoped
    - Get the match winning shot
    - Kill 5 enemies with a semi-automatic sniper rifle
    - Get 3 tag assists
    - Kill 5 enemies without dying
    - Kill 3 enemies with grenades
    - Kill a sprinting target while scoped
    - Kill 7 enemies with an SMG or Pistol
    - Complete a match without dying
    - Kill 5 enemies while in empty lung
    - Have the longest shot in a match
    - Get 5 headshots
    - Kill 5 enemies with a bolt action sniper rifle
    - Perform 3 consecutive kill streaks without dying

Note: The requirements for each ribbon must be achieved in a single online competitive multiplayer match. They do not stack between matches. For example: The 3 testicle shots required for the Castro ribbon must be obtained in a single match, you cannot obtain one in 3 separate multiplayer matches.

    Boosting Method
To boost, select 'Create Private Game' on the multiplayer section of the main menu and invite your boosting partner(s). All of the ribbons can be done with 2 players and in Deathmatch mode, with the exception of Tagger which requires 3 players and can only be done in Team Deathmatch mode.

For most ribbons, you will want to set the score and time limits very high so that you are free to complete the requirements for as many ribbons as you can.

    No Scope
Kill 5 enemies while aiming down the sights of a rifle

For this ribbon you need to squeeze slightly whilst holding your rifle to bring up a set of crosshairs in the middle of the screen, then kill 5 enemies. This is very easily boosted. If you are doing this in a public match, try to do it at close range because accuracy isn't high whilst doing this.

    Trapper
    Kill 3 enemies with traps

A trap is a Trip Wire, S-Mine or Land Mine. This is very simple to boost privately. Simply set your trap down and get your partner to walk into it, and repeat 3 times. If you are doing this in a public match, put your traps along narrow areas that are widely used e.g. behind doorways or on stairways. It is always wise to plant traps on the entrance to a building that you are sniping from.

    Castro
    Get 3 testicle shots

To get a testicle shot, you must use your rifle. I don’t think you need us to tell you where to aim for this one! It is most easily achieved in a private match. Have the target stand in front of you, then crouch to get directly in line, then shoot. You will know if you got a testicle shot as you will get an on screen notification and testicle shots are always 1 hit kill. If you are playing in public matches, aim for the waist areas of enemies and you will get this eventually.

    Demolition Man
Kill an enemy by shooting TNT or a Mine

For this ribbon you must kill an enemy by shooting either TNT or a mine when they close enough. This can easily be boosted in a private match. Otherwise it will require some luck as you'll have to first put down some TNT or a Mine and wait for an enemy to stroll past. Be sure to use to steady your aim as both TNT and Mines are very small when aiming from a distance.

    Long Distance Killer
Kill 3 enemies over 150m away while scoped

For this ribbon, have you and your boosting partner go to opposite sides of a map and then shoot each other. Set the bullet realism to simple so that it is easier to hit each other. In public matches, head towards the corner of a map in a tower or on a rooftop and try to hit targets on the other side of the map.

    One Bullet Cam...
    Get the match winning shot

This ribbon is achieved by getting the final kill in a match that puts you or your team over the score limit. If you have the last kill and the time expires, you will not earn this ribbon. In public matches, it is luck of the draw to get this ribbon. However it is very easy to boost privately. Set the score limit to 100 and simply kill your partner 4 times to score 100 points and achieve the ribbon.

    Semi-Automatic Specialist
Kill 5 enemies with a semi-automatic sniper rifle

This ribbon is pretty easy, you just have to get 5 kills with a semi-automatic rifle in a single competitive match. Make sure you are using either the M1 Garand or the Gewehr 43.

    Tagger
    Get 3 tag assists

You are awarded a tag assist if one of your team mates successfully kills an enemy player in which you have tagged. To tag an enemy press to use the binoculars. You can then zoom with or and press to tag an enemy. Once tagged all teammates can see their location. You need to get 3 tag assists in a single competitive multiplayer match to be awarded this ribbon.

This ribbon is the only one that cannot be earned with just 2 players in a Deathmatch. Because you need to spot an enemy that a teammate then kills, you need a minimum of 3 players and because you need a teammate and you must be playing Team Deathmatch.

    Kill Streak
    Kill 5 enemies without dying

    See Streaker

    Grenadier
    Kill 3 enemies with grenades

Another simple ribbon to boost. You will spawn with 2 grenades so kill your partner twice, let him kill you so you respawn, then get your third grenade kill.

    Sprinter
Kill a sprinting target while scoped

Get your partner to stand 50 metres or so in front of you then sprint straight towards you using . Whilst he is sprinting and before his breath runs out, kill him with your sniper rifle whilst scoped. In public matches you will often see players running around and so this shouldn’t be difficult to achieve.

    Operative
Kill 7 enemies with an SMG or a Pistol

Another simple ribbon. Using any SMG or Pistol, get 7 kills in a game. Is simple to obtain in public matches and very easily boosted. We suggest playing Deathmatch or Team Deathmatch for this, because in No Cross you will not be able to get close to the enemy and engage them in Close Quarters Combat.

    Survivalist
    Complete a match without dying

For this ribbon you must survive an entire multiplayer match without dying. This is much easier than you might think. The easiest game mode to do this on is 'No Cross' as the enemies cannot engage you in close quarters combat as each team is restricted to their own section of the map. Simply stay out of sight and don't engage any enemy and you will have no problem with this ribbon.

In a private match the best way to achieve it is using the 100 score limit trick, just take it in turns to win a game in a few minutes without dying.

    Steady Aim
Kill 5 enemies while in empty lung

A kill while in empty lung simply means whilst you are holding to hold your breath and steady your scope. You must be quick though, otherwise you will run out of breath. You will not be able to hold your breath if your BPM is in the red (80 or above). Your breath recharges by itself, although you can make it recharge more quickly be being prone. You should be using empty lung a lot to improve your aim. This ribbon is another that is easy to boost.

    Longest Shot
Have the longest shot in a match

This ribbon is obtained by having got a kill from the furthest distance away by the time the game ends. If you press options on the PS4 or on the PS3 whilst in game it will tell you who has the longest shot. This is another ribbon that is very self explanatory to boost.

    Head Hunter
    Get 5 headshots

Simply get 5 headshots in a match. We recommend boosting this as it is much easier to get a headshot on a standing target than a moving one.

    Bolt-Action Specialist
Kill 5 enemies with a bolt-action sniper rifle

Another simple ribbon. The two bolt-action sniper rifles are the Carcano and the Lee-Enfield.

    Streaker
Perform 3 consecutive kill streaks without dying

This ribbon is a bit hit and miss. A kill streak is 5 kills in a row so it should unlock after a 15 kill streak, although when we were boosting this with friends it seemed to be temperamental. Sometimes it took more than 15 kills to unlock. It is very hard to achieve in a public match so we recommend boosting. Arrange a meeting point in the map with a friend, and get him to keep running to you and letting you kill him. Along the way you will also unlock the kill streak ribbon.

  • Complete a mission after losing over 500 units of health

For this trophy you need to lose a total of 500 units of health in a single mission without dying before you complete it. We are not sure what a single unit of health equates to but if you heal approximately 5-6 health bars (seen on the left hand side of the HUD display in the bottom right corner of the screen) you will be fine, just remember not to die as this will start the process over again. You can heal yourself by using bandages and med kits.

Secret trophies

  • Get a testicle-shot from over 100m away

For this trophy you must obtain a testicle-shot from over 100m away. Although this can be obtained at almost any locations in the game, the quickest and easiest place to get this trophy is on the first mission, Siege of Tobruk. After taking out the first two enemies at the beginning of the level you will advance down a hill and then be instructed to take out the enemy spotter who is located on a rocky ridge in front of you. He is positioned over 100m away and is an easy target. Just zoom in with your rifle and steady your aim by pressing . We suggest playing on Cadet difficulty as this disables all bullet ballistics, meaning that the bullet will hit exactly where your crosshair is positioned; regardless of how far away you are from the enemy or if there is any wind. Simply aim for between his legs and fire. It may take a couple of tries so just reload your last save and try again if you miss.

DLC: Hunt the Grey Wolf

10 trophies

  • Observe the target and correctly choose to leave or kill.

As you progress through the mission you will have to collect various pieces of intel in the form of letters, these will inform you whether or not the real Hitler is going to make an appearance at the meeting/inspection or if it will be is double. Once you have acquired all the intel you will can proceed to one of two sniper locations, this is where you must decide to either kill the target if you think he is the real Hitler or leave the target if you think he is an imposter/double.

The game will randomly alternate between the target being an imposter or the real Hitler, read the clues and make the decision for yourself. If you correctly identify him as either the real Hitler or a fake then the trophy will unlock once the mission has finished.

  • Shoot and kill the target.

    Video timestamp: [0:05]

For this trophy you must kill Hitler by shooting him directly with your gun. It doesn't matter where you shoot him, as long as you kill him by means of a bullet and not an explosion.

  • Kill the target with a chain reaction.

    Video timestamp: [1:35]

For this trophy you will need to kill Hitler via a chain reaction. A chain reaction is when an explosion you trigger creates a chain of subsequent explosions which then leads to the death of an enemy.

Directly to the right of Hitler will be a few trucks in which you can explode, either throw a grenade in this vicinity or shoot the weak points of the trucks to make them explode. A short cutscene will begin showing the explosion chain reaction. Once the target has been killed the trophy will unlock.

  • Kill the target by shooting nearby explosive barrels.

    Video timestamp: [2:41]

For this trophy you need to kill Hitler by shooting nearby explosive barrels. You will need to wait for Hitler to leave in his car. The path his vehicle takes will be towards your position and under a bridge/underpass and then onto a dirt road. I suggest Tagging his vehicle via the binoculars (press and then to tag). The vehicle will take a slight right hand turn when going down the road and on the left of the road will be some explosive barrels, simply shoot the barrels as the vehicle is travelling past to kill Hitler. Once the short cutscene finishes, the trophy will unlock.

  • Crush the target with a bell.

    Video timestamp: [0:40]

For this trophy you will need to kill Hitler by squashing him with a bell. Directly above his location is a large church bell, simply shoot the small rope holding the ball to make it drop (I suggest pressing to enter empty lung to increase your accuracy). If the rope is hit correctly a bullet cam will be triggered followed by a short cutscene. The trophy will unlock once the cutscene has finished.

  • Kill the target in the vehicle by shooting its weakspot.

    Video timestamp: [2:41]

For this trophy you must kill Hitler by shooting the weakspot on his vehicle, which will subsequently result in the vehicle exploding. You will have to wait for Hitler to leave via his vehicle which is about 15 seconds after he first hops out of his car. Once he passes under the overpass/bridge via a round into the back of his vehicle roughly aiming at the where the number plate is located. I suggest entering empty lung by pressing as this will slow down time allowing you to get a few more shots in. Furthermore I highly suggest equipping Armour Piercing (AP) rounds in your loadout if you have unlocked them, this will cause the car to explode with a singly shot. To equip AP rounds, hold and press . Once the vehicle explodes, killing Hitler in the process, the trophy will unlock.

  • Kill the target with a grenade.

    Video timestamp: [1:12]

For this trophy you must kill Hitler with a grenade. This can be done a few different ways. The first and probably the easiest is to position yourself roughly near the overpass in which his car travels under when he leaves, from here you can throw your grenade in his direction and it should reach and kill him. You will need to maximise the throwing arc in order to make the distance. Press to access the weapon wheel and select the grenade, to throw the grenade hold down and increase the throwing arc by moving .

If this method does not work you can try and blow his car up with a grenade once he leaves. This is a little harder as the timing of the throw is important. Once you kill him with a grenade the trophy will unlock.

  • Shoot the target in his car.

    Video timestamp: [2:10]

For this trophy you must kill Hitler once he is in his car. Hitler will enter his car one of two ways:

1: If you wait and do nothing, he will eventually leave the area via his car.
2: If you are spotted he will flee via his car.

I suggest sitting on the overpass/bridge and wait for him to leave. Once he passes under you, enter empty lung by pressing . This will increase your accuracy and slow down time, making the shot a lot easier. Hitler is sitting in the back seat of the car and is very open to a headshot. Once you kill him the trophy will unlock.

    Glitch Warning:

A few people have had trouble with this trophy not unlocking. Make sure you have bullet cam turned on, you may also need to kill him before he passes under the overpass bridge. Either way if you are having trouble unlocking the trophy then try a few different methods and it should unlock.

  • Kill the target in 7 different ways.

For this trophy you will need to kill Hitler in all 7 different ways. Each of these methods relate to each of the following trophies in this guide. However, for means of convenience, all 7 methods for killing Hitler are listed below:

    • Shooting him
    • Chain reaction
    • Explosive barrels
    • Crushed by a bell
    • Shooting the weakspot of his car
    • Grenade
    • Shooting him while he is in his car

A Video walkthrough for all 7 ways to kill Hitler can be found below. Credit goes to Maka for putting the video and time stamps together, timestamps can also be found in each of the trophy descriptions:

[0:05] - Method 1: Shot and killed the target.
[0:40] - Method 2: Crushed the target with a bell.
[1:12] - Method 3: Killed the target with a grenade.
[1:35] - Method 4: Killed the target with a chain reaction.
[2:10] - Method 5: Killed the officer at the meeting with a testicle shot & Shot the target in his car.
[2:41] - Method 6&7: Killed the target by shooting nearby explosives & Killed the target by destroying his vehicle

Once you have killed him via all 7 ways, the trophy will unlock.

Secret trophies

  • Kill the officer at the meeting with a testicle shot.

    Video timestamp: [2:10]

For this trophy you must kill the Officer at the meeting with Hitler with a testicle shot. The Officer in question is standing to the right of Hitler. Position yourself so you have a clear shot of his testicles i.e. with him facing you. I suggest playing on Cadet as per usual as there won’t be any bullet ballistics. You will want to enter empty lung by pressing and aiming in the vicinity of his testicles. This will be approximately at the bottom of his jacket. It may take a few attempts so if you miss, simply reload your last save and try again. Once you kill the Officer with a testicle shot the trophy will unlock.

If you can't position yourself in front of him you will need to shoot through the side of his upper leg/hip to hit his testicles. This may take a few tries but it will unlock with a bit of trial and error.

DLC: Save Churchill

10 trophies

  • Get to the command tent unseen and without killing anyone

For this trophy you must reach the command tent without being seen and without killing any enemies. It's worth noting that enemies are allowed to become suspicious (which is identified as the yellow circle above their heads) they cannot however spot you (which is identified as a full red dot above their heads). At this point they become hostile and will attack you. If this does occur you will need to reload your last save and continue from that point.

The command tent is located to the east of the western most sniper nest which can be viewed by pressing and then to navigate to the map. The command tents location location will only become visible on the mini map when you get close to it. The spoiler below will explain the path I took to unlock the trophy.

From your starting location head towards the main entrance of the fort. There will be two enemies guarding the from so continue past the entrance to the left along the path and you will come to an opening in the side of the fort where you can drop down to enter. Exit the room into the courtyard and head to the right. You may need to throw a rock to distract two guards nearby. You will then need to continue down the road and turn left which will lead you into a room with two enemies just outside, one of which will be sitting down. At this point the objective for locating the command tent will trigger.

You must then get inside the tent without being seen. There are numerous ways you can do this. The best way is to make use of throwing rocks to get guards to leave the area in which they are standing. Once you enter the tent the trophy will unlock and a cutscene will begin.

Alternatively you can follow the path in which the player takes in the video below. Pay close attention to where the player stands up to run which distracts the nearby guard allowing him to not be seen. Credit to iMatrix DK a.k.a CiCo for the video:

Below are some tips that will help you unlock the trophy.

    • Play the mission on Cadet difficulty as this reduces the chance of enemies being alerted to your presence.
    • Remain crouched as often as you can by pressing as this will reduce the amount of noise you make.
    • Throw rocks to distract enemies. This will help you progress past enemies if they are in a location that is preventing you from progressing through the mission.
    • Make manual saves throughout the mission because if you are spotted by an enemy, then you can just reload your last save. This will prevent you having to start from the beginning of the level.
  • Complete the mission without using any healing items

For this trophy you must complete the entire mission without using any healing items. This includes both bandages and med kits. The trophy will unlock once you have completed the mission. Below are some tips that will help you unlock the trophy.

    • Play the mission on Cadet difficulty as the enemies deal less damage to you and you're less likely to be spotted.
    • Make manual saves as often as you like as if you get spotted you can quickly get overwhelmed. This will allow you to reload your last save without having to start the mission over again.
    • Do not play recklessly. Take your time to progress through the mission.
    • Spot as many enemies as you can before you kill anyone or move further through the level.
    • Use your Welrod to kill as many enemies as you can as the gun is silenced and will no alert other enemies to your location when you kill someone.
    • Always relocate after you have been spotted by enemies.
  • Complete 'In Shadows'

    Story related, cannot be missed.

This mission takes place at Siwa Oasis under the cover of darkness. You must sneak into the fort area and locate the Command Tent where there is secret intel regarding the assassination of Churchill. There are numerous enemies in the mission patrolling around the area. The Command Tent is located in the middle of the level, roughly in the same location in which you had to spot the correct officer when the three officers speak towards the end of the Siwa Oasis mission in the campaign of the main game. Once you locate and enter the Command Tent all enemies will be alerted to your location. You will then need to relocate to advance the mission, then exit towards the outside area where you start the Siwa Oasis mission in the campaign of the main game. Once you reach the objective marker, a cutscene will begin and the mission will be completed.

  • Beat Raubvogel's score on the shooting range

The shooting range can be found at the location of the second sniper nest:

To start the shooting range you will need to shoot the red light on the wall next to the sniper nest (refer to below video if you cannot find it). In total there are 14 targets in which you must shoot, they will be at varying distances in the shooting range. In order for you to successfully beat Raubvogel's score all that is required of you is to simply hit each of the targets before they disappear. If you miss or fail to unlock the trophy, you can either reload your last save or just try again. Although it is relatively easy, some general tips can be found below.

    General tips:

    • Use empty lung to steady your shot and slow down time. This will reduce the likelihood of you missing the target or running out of time before the target disappears.
    • Use a gun that has a large round of ammo (e.g. Lee-Enfield MK. III) as this will reduce the time spent having to reload your gun.
    • Remain in the sniper nest in a lying position to help increase your aiming accuracy and reduce shot recoil.
    • Make a manual save before attempting the shooting range so you can reload straight away if you fail.

See this video by John Stewart for a walkthrough:

  • Destroy all the teufelsfeuer shipments in the truck depot

At the end of the mission, your last objective is to destroy the shipment of teufelsfeuers at the truck depot. All that is required for you to do this, is blow up all of the black boxes that are scattered throughout the area. You will see various red barrels which you will explode by shooting them so use them to your advantage. As you blow stuff up, a percentage complete update will appear in the top left corner of the screen indicating how much of the shipment you have destroyed. See here for a video Guide (Credit to gamerfourlife99 for this:

Do note that the box by the exit, will only be destroyed when the nearby Half-Track hits it.

The trophy will unlock once you have reached 100% completion but if not, then see the following glitch warning.

Glitch warning: If you have completed this main objective and destroyed 100% of the shipment and the trophy does not unlock, then simply press and select 'Load Last Save'. This will put you back to the point in which you complete the objective and the trophy will unlock. Some people have reported that killing yourself, will pop the trophy if it has glitched out.

  • Complete 'Belly of the Beast'

    Story related, cannot be missed

You must first gain entry into the facility and locate Raubvogel. After finding his bed without him present you will then need to proceed to uncover the assassination plans. Once you have found the assassination plans, then you can continue to the end part of the mission where you will need to destroy the shipment of teufelsfeuer's. Once you have destroyed 100% of the shipment you can proceed to the 'canyon' and escape

  • Spot and destroy 4 enemy traps without triggering them.

Once you destroy the tank after killing all four mortar spotters, your next objective will be to proceed through the mountain pass. At a certain location the game will alert you to the presence of traps which Raubvogel has left behind. These traps are in the form of S-Mines and are positioned in the middle of the path and are very hard to miss. All that is required of you to unlock this trophy is to shoot and destroy four of them before you trigger them yourself by walking to close. There are more than four available to shoot so don't worry if you miss some, just take it slow through this part of the mission and you will be fine. The images below will show what the mines look like and their location on the path. Once you get the notification that there are mines in the area (see the image below) then make a manual save, that way if you do screw things up you can simply reload and start again.

  • Kill the teufelsfeuer soldiers in the coliseum

The coliseum is located to the North West of the first two sniper nests and just south of the third sniper nest, it is very hard to miss. There are approximately 5-6 enemies within the coliseum, including one with a rocket launcher and a sniper who is located up high on the coliseum. In order to unlock the trophy you will need to kill all of them. I suggest you sneak over unseen and tag as many enemies as you can because once you are noticed, some enemies will flee and may be hard to find afterwards. Once you have killed all enemies in the coliseum, then the trophy will unlock. If you feel you have killed all the enemies then I suggest you continue to look around and kill all remaining enemies in the level, as some of the enemies within the coliseum may have fled to find cover.

  • Eliminate a sniper with a stealth takedown

In order to eliminate an enemy sniper via a stealth take down you must approach him from behind undetected and press . The easiest location to complete this is north of the first two sniper nests. I suggest tagging all the enemies around him, including the actual sniper, and then sabotaging the generator near the sniper nest to help you muffle the sound of your shots. Proceed to kill all the areas around the sniper without alerting anyone. Be sure to time your shots with the sound of the generator. Once all enemies have been killed besides the sniper, sneak all the way up to him and stealth kill him from behind. Be sure to make a save close to the enemies so if you are spotted you can reload without having to start the mission over. The below images show the enemy snipers location. Thanks to Steam Achievement Hunter for the two images below. The second image is taken from the location of the player in the first image looking towards the location of the sniper, i.e. the red rectangle.

Note: Some people have found that shooting an unaware sniper will also unlock the trophy, however, this may only be the case for PC players. Feel free to try this but if it fails to unlock the trophy then stick to my method as described above.

  • Complete 'Confrontation'

    Story related, cannot be missed.

This trophy will unlock once you have proceeded through the mountain pass after destroying the tank and killing the mortar spotters. Once you proceed through the mountain pass you will need to kill more enemy snipers before coming face to face with Raubvogel. He is easy to kill with your sniper, he just takes a few more shots than a normal enemy. Once you kill him a cutscene will begin and the trophy will unlock.
