Introduction:

Welcome to the fifth entry in the Sniper Elite series. The game and the trophies are very similar to the previous entries, you will need to complete the game and all side objectives, get all collectibles, and will need to farm kills to master all weapons. You will also need to finish all missions on Authentic difficulty, however you will be able to manual save whenever you want this time which makes things easier. You are not forced to do it in co-op, even though this might help. And there are very few online trophies, all can be done very quickly.

Walkthrough:

Step 1: Finish the game and all side objectives and Kill Lists on Civilian (very easy) + get all collectibles
Even though Authentic difficulty is unlocked from the start, it's highly recommended to play on Civilian first to get a feel of the game, and know what to do, plus getting all collectibles will be much easier on very easy difficulty. It doesn't matter if you sneak your way through the mission or if you make a mess and kill everyone, so play however you want and focus on completing the main and side objectives.
There is one Kill List in each mission, and they all have side challenges (ways of killing the targets). You will need to complete them all to unlock the weapons.
You don't have to collect all collectibles now but at least unlocking the workbenches would be a good idea as they unlock new perks for your weapons.
There are many ways to reach or complete your objectives, sometimes finding collectibles will unlock new ways, so just play however you want.

Step 2: Finish the game on Authentic difficulty
Now that you know your way through the missions, you can tackle Authentic difficulty. The HUD will be deactivated, you won't see any marker on your way, the sniping will be realistic so it'll be much harder to sniper from afar, and the enemies will deal way more damage.
Focus on main objectives only and try to stay stealth at all time. You can save whenever you want and reload if things go wrong so make sure to save a lot.
You can also play in coop to make things even easier, but you're not forced to. Just take your time and don't run and gun as that will immediately lead to your death.

Best of the Best

Step 3: Clean-up
If you haven't picked up all collectibles or earned the mission specific trophies, now would be a good time to do it. The longest trophies here will be to master all weapons, as you will need to get 50 Ghost Kills will all handguns, 150 kills with all machine guns, and 50 kills from more than 100m with all snipers. There are a few other kill related trophies that will need multiple kills, the very good thing about all these trophies is that they can be farmed with save/reload on the same enemy(ies).

Step 4: Online and Survival
Now all you'll have left is the online and Survival trophies. You'll only have to play a team based match in the online part of the game, plus invade someone's game and defeat them and kill someone that invades you. The Survival part will take a bit more time as you'll have to complete 3 different Survival missions (can't replay the same one), you'll have to survive 12 waves of soldiers each time.

Meeting Resistance

Weaken the Atlantic wall and rendezvous with Blue Viper.
Story related and cannot be missed. Complete Mission 1: The Atlantic Wall

Optional Objectives:
- Neutralize Anti-Air Guns (unlocked after Neutralize Radar)
- Destroy the Gun Battery (located North-West of map)
- Neutralize the Coastal Defenses (located near resistance safe house)

Kill List:
- Steffen Beckendorf (with an explosion): He doesn't stay around for a long time so you'll have to be quick here. There are a few explosives around the area so shoot at them when he's close. If you struggle you can also shoot him with a non lethal weapon or pacify him, put his body near an explosive and shoot it.
Confirming Suspicions

Raid Chateau de Berengar and Möller's Office.
Story related and cannot be missed. Complete Mission 2: Occupied Resistance

Optional Objectives:
-Find the Stolen Antiques (unlocked after finding document Do Not Fail Me Nephew, in a room upstairs in the main entrance area of the Chateau)

Kill List:
- Friedrich Kummler (crush him with one of the Chateau's chandelier): East side of chateau in the ballroom, you can stand on a room above and when he's waiting on the middle of the room shoot the chandelier.
The Kraken Wakes

Infiltrate Beaumont-Saint-Denis and Uncover Operation Kraken.
Story related and cannot be missed. Complete Mission 3: Spy Academy

Optional Objectives:
- Stop The Spy Training

Kill list:
- Fabian Richter (stealth takedown): wait for them to leave and whistle to attract him
It's Starting to Crack

Destroy Operation Kraken's production facility at Martressac.
Story related and cannot be missed. Complete Mission 4: War Factory

Optional Objectives:
- Destroy the Generator (top North of the map)
- Destroy the Steelworks (the crane key is owned by the enemy in white at the bottom)

Kill List:
- Matthaus Erlich (with rat bomb) The rat bomb is found in the starting area upstairs just before leaving, place it in his location and he will shoot at it.
Taking it back

Liberate Desponts-sur-Douve and secure Allied transport routes.
Story related and cannot be missed. Complete Mission 6: Libération

Optional Objectives:
- Locate the Radio Operator
- No Half Measures (liberate one bridge as part of the main objective and the other one will be made an optional objective)
- Neutralize Anti-Air Guns (east and north of Southern Town main objective)

Kill list:
- Jaan Trautmann (with poison) You can find poison downstairs in the house, poison the drink upstairs and ring the bell
Can't Outrun A Bullet

Kill Möller with a rifle at a distance of 600 meters or more.
Mission 9: Loose Ends

Your only objective in this short mission is to kill Moller. You won't be able to move very far so the only way to kill him from 600m or more is to wait for him to leave in his car, and wait until he reaches a distance of 600m or more. This might be a bit tricky so make sure to save your game before, and bring a good sniper with a good zoom.
Climbing the Ladder

Reach rank 40.
This trophy will come naturally while going for the other trophies. Everything you do in the game will net you points towards that, be it completing missions, side objectives, getting collectibles or killing enemies in a certain way, mastering weapons, etc. Even the online and survival part of the game will count towards that, so it is impossible to not have it after doing everything else so do not worry about that.
Liberté

Complete the campaign.
Complete each of the 9 missions on any difficulty.
Best of the Best

Complete the entire campaign on Authentic difficulty.

Complete each of the 9 missions on Authentic difficulty.

Authentic is unlocked from the start but it's highly recommended to finish the game on an easiest difficulty first to get to know the layout of each mission, and you can also unlock new starting points which can make things easier/faster.

Authentic difficulty will disable your HUD and you won't see any objective marker nor you will be able to mark your enemies. The enemies will deal way more damage and sniping will be realistic which means it will be much harder to sniper from afar.

It's best to unlock all Workbenches first as they unlock new equipment for your weapons. Make sure to bring the best weapons and the most silent version of them as you will want to stay stealth at all times and kill only who you must. Focus only on the main objectives and save a lot, as you are able to manual save whenever you can. Take your time, be patient and bring a friend in coop if you need extra help.
No Stone Unturned

Complete 16 optional objectives.
Each mission will have side objectives marked in blue, and you will need to complete them all. This trophy might be bugged in a good way and/or the Kill Lists also count as side objectives as it unlocked for me before completing the 16 of them. It would be good to do them all as they are rather easy and are often in areas with collectibles anyway.

Please refer to each mission trophies to see all their side objectives.
Opposing Force

Win one Axis Invasion as an Invader.

This is an online trophy.

You can access this feature through the main menu, you will invade someone else's game and will need to kill them. You won't know where they are at first, but whenever they get spotted by enemies you will have a approximative location of them. You can also use phones to get the same thing.

Alternatively, if they get killed by NPCs you will also get the trophy.
Enemy at the Gates

Defeat an invading Sniper Jager.

This is an online trophy.

Before starting the campaign and every time you access this menu, you will see an option at the bottom to allow Axis Invasion or not. For this you need to make sure to allow it by putting it ON.

Then start any mission, and wait for an enemy to invade you. This is random and you might need to wait a bit, but once someone invades your game, you will need to kill them.
Fields of Glory

Play one team-based PVP match
From the main menu play Multiplayer and choose either Team Match or Squad Match as the other game modes are solo based.
Finish a game and you will get the trophy. No need to win.
Just a Flesh Wound

Complete a mission, excluding the "Loose Ends" mission, in any difficulty without healing.
If playing on the easiest difficulty and staying sneaky, you shouldn't receive any damage, but if you do just make sure to not heal yourself (you will heal automatically on easy difficulties and it doesn't void the trophy). As long as you don't use a bandage or medkit you will unlock the trophy.
Organ Grinder

Hit every organ at least once with a rifle.
For this, only the kills with a rifle will count. You will need to hit every of these organs at least once:
- Head
- Eye
- Lung
- Heart
- Liver
- Stomach
- Guts
- Kidney
- Testicles
Strategist

Make a tank shoot and destroy another enemy vehicle.
There are multiple missions with a tank and other vehicles around but the best one would be Missions 7 as it contains a lot of them.

Make sure to play on an easy difficulty. Near the middle of the map, there will be 2 tanks and a few vehicles will drive along the road. Get spotted and run around the tanks so they will shoot at you. Now go near one vehicle and stand around it, when the tank shoots at you it will destroy the vehicle.
Master of Pistols

Obtain six pistol-related mastery medals.

You can check your progress via options > service record > medals > weapons and items > master of pistol

You will need 50 Ghost Kills (kills without being spotted) with each of these weapons:
- Welrod
- M1911
- Model D (complete kill challenge in mission 6)
- MK VI (complete mission 2)
- Type 14 (complete kill challenge in mission 8)
- PO8 (complete kill challenge in mission 3)
All the kills can be farmed with the save/reload feature. Find a good place where you can quickly kill 2-3 enemies this way and make a save. Kill them, reload the save and rinse and repeat.
Master of Secondaries

Obtain six secondary-related mastery medals.
You can check your progress via options > service record > medals > weapons and items > master of secondaries

You will need to kill 150 enemies with each of these weapons:
- Welgun SMG
- M1A1 Gov.
- M. Pist. 40
- M. Pist. 44 (complete kill challenge in mission 4)
- Type 100 (complete kill challenge in mission 5)
- Sten MK2 (complete mission 6)
All the kills can be farmed with the save/reload feature. Find a good place where you can quickly kill 2-3 enemies this way and make a save. Kill them, reload the save and rinse and repeat.
For this though you probably won't need to farm it with a save. Just run around and make a mess and kill everyone you see.
Alternatively, for this you might want to head into Survival mode as you need to complete 3 of them, and they contain a lot of enemies.
Master of Rifles

Obtain six rifle-related mastery medals.
You can check your progress via options > service record > medals > weapons and items > master of rifles

You will need 50 kills from over 100 meters with each these weapons:
- M. 1903
- K98K (complete kill challenge in mission 2)
- RSC 1918 (complete kill challenge in mission 7)
- GEW 43 (complete mission 3)
- M1A (complete mission 5)
- SREM-1
All the kills can be farmed with the save/reload feature. Find a good place where you can quickly kill 2-3 enemies this way and make a save. Kill them, reload the save and rinse and repeat.
Master-at-arms

Become the Master of each weapon.
See Master of Pistols , Master of Secondaries and Master of Rifles . Once all these three trophies are unlocked, you will unlock this one.
Gunslinger

Kill 150 enemies with a Pistol.
This should come naturally especially if you master your weapons for the other trophies, but if not, you can replay any mission or even farm it using save/reload on the same enemy(ies).
Skirmisher

Kill 300 enemies with a Secondary Weapon.
This should come naturally especially if you master your weapons for the other trophies, but if not, you can replay any mission or even farm it using save/reload on the same enemy(ies).
Sharpshooter

Kill 350 enemies with a Rifle.
This should come naturally especially if you master your weapons for the other trophies, but if not, you can replay any mission or even farm it using save/reload on the same enemy(ies).
The Long Game

Total kill distance of 100000 meters.
For this trophy, every kill with a sniper rifle will count towards that.

This will probably not come naturally and you will need to farm this. Find a good spot with a few enemies at over a good distance and make save. Kill them all, reload that save and rinse and repeat.
Set Europe Ablaze

Kill 50 enemies with traps.
For this you will need to place a Teller Mine and wait until an enemy walks on it to kill him. But alternatively, you can walk towards of group of enemy and place the mine in the middle of them, and it will immediately blow up and kill everyone around.
Make sure to play on an easy difficulty, and make a save before that, then rinse and repeat.
Precision Is Key

Kill 150 enemies with any weapon while in Iron Sights.

Kill 150 enemies with a rifle while in Iron Sights.
In the loadout screen before playing a mission, make sure to customize your sniper rifle and choose Iron Sights under the Sight option. This will remove the zoom but it's the only way to do this trophy.

Now kill your enemies this way with your rifle, alternatively find a group of enemies at close range and make a save. Kill them all and reload that save, rinse and repeat.
Rigged to Blow

Kill 20 soldiers using booby traps.
You can place booby traps (grenades or teller mines) on dead soldiers, or on alarms too but it works best on a dead body.

Kill a soldier, place their body near another soldier, trap the body and then attract the other soldier by whistling or throwing a bottle. They will see the body and inspect it. Make a save juste before that, so you can reload that save just before the trap explodes and you will easily farm kills this way.
My Little Friend

Kill 50 soldiers with heavy weapons.
Heavy weapons are only found in the open, you cannot bring them yourself in the mission. A very easy place to find them is in Survival missions. You will always have 3 rocket launchers near the base, and they will respawn at each wave (if you don't lose your base). Try to get mutiple kills at once.
Aternatively you can do this in the main missions, and use the save/reload feature to farm them on the same enemies.
Explosive Efficiency

Kill 3 on-foot soldiers with one grenade.
A very easy way to do this is to pacify 3 enemies with or incapacitate them with non lethal weapons. Now pick up their bodies and place them on the ground near each other. Throw a grenade in the middle of them, boom trophy.
Lord of War

Get a kill with 20 different weapons.
You already have 18 different weapons in your loadout and you will need to get multiple kills with each of them for other trophies.
There are many other weapons that you can find throughout the game, like the rocket launchers or the big machine guns.
Die Nussknacker Sweet!

Get a testicle shot with a rifle from a distance of 100 meters or more.
You can do that on many places during the game, just make sure the enemy is at 100m or more and aim at their testicles. Bring a good sniper, and make a save before the kill so you can reload and retry if you fail.
Resourceful

Kill 50 enemy soldiers with Found Weapons.
Found Weapons are the weapons that you can pick up during the game, or on dead bodies. You won't be able to keep them and you will lose them if you switch weapon, but when you pick them up you will also be able to use them until their ammunitions are empty so make sure to get some kills with them.
Alternatively you can also pick one up, make a save and reload it to farm some kills.
Der Geist

Achieve 250 ghost kills.
Ghost Kills are achieved when killing an enemy while you're not in combat. This will come naturally if you play stealth, just make sure to use silent guns, or kill your enemies with your knife with .
As Quiet as a Mouse

Kill 50 enemies during a Sound Mask.
A Sound Mask is when there is heavy noise around this area, so that your weapons shots will not be heard. It's representated by a sound wave at the top of your HUD. It can happen randomly during some missions, but you can also create them when sabotaging things like generators or vehicles for example.
Make a save near a generator or a vehicle and sabotage it to create a sound mask, then kill your enemies during the sound mask and reload that save to repeat the operation.
Close Quarters

Perform 100 lethal takedowns.
Lethal takedowns are performed with when close to your enemies. You will kill them with your knife.
You don't need to stay stealth for that, however during combat the enemies might block your kill, so it's best to come from behind them. You can use the save/reload feature to quickly farm kills.
Snake in the Grass

While in Tall Grass, kill 50 soldiers.
There is tall grass in many areas during the game, you will know when you are in tall grass as you will see a white line around your body and enemies won't be able to see you.
It doesn't matter if you kill enemies that are outside of the tall grass, as long as YOU are in tall grass, the enemies can be located anywhere else so bring out your sniper and shoot them.
From Paris with Love

Collect 41 Personal letters.
There are 19 collectibles per mission, for a total of 152 of them. You can get them at any point, none of them are missable and everything is save immediately after picking them even if you die or leave the mission.

Mission 2: Occupied Resistance

In the courtyard of the Chateau, there is a white convertible car parked on the West side. This is the car you want to destroy. Throw some grenades or use with your rifle to see the red weak spots and shoot at them until it blows up.
It's the same car that Moller will use to escape in Mission 9, but destroying it in mission 9 won't pop the trophy.
Locomotion Commotion

In Martressac, create an accident that destroys the train in the storage area.
Mission 4: War Factory

In the South East corner of the map, you can see a railway track. At the end of it (South) you can spot a big crane. Zoom inside the crane and you see an enemy inside. Shoot him with your rifle and this will create an accident that will eventually blow up the train.
Up Close and Personal

Melee takedown each one of the three snipers guarding the bridge.
Mission 6: Libération

During this mission, you will be tasked by clearing either the Western bridge or the Eastern bridge. This trophy takes place on the Western Bridge.

In this area, you will need to kill 3 snipers. It's pretty easy to spot them, and for this trophy you don't even need to stay stealth and you can get spotted. Just make sure to kill the 3 snipers with melee takedowns with when close to them. It doesn't matter either if they move around the area.
Road Rage

In Secret Weapons, find and destroy one of each type of vehicle present in this mission.

Mission 7: Secret Weapons

You will need to destroy all types of vehicles during this mission. They can be found parked or driving around the area.
- Motorcycle
- Car
- Armoured Car
- Tank
- Tiger Tank
- Truck
- Cargo Truck
Don't hold your breath

Make the final shot in St Nazaire without using Empty Lung.
Mission 8: Rubble and Ruin

At the very end of the mission, you will need to blow up a fuel tank from afar, and this will trigger the end of the mission. Just make sure to not use empty lung with when making the shot and you will get the trophy. This might take a few attempts but it doesn't matter as long as you don't use empty lung.

Mission 9: Loose Ends

Your only task during this very short mission is to kill Moller. You can see him on the right side of the area afar right before he's entering his car, so bring your best sniper with some good sights if you have unlocked them, and shoot him in the head. This isn't too difficult using empty lung with as the time is slowed and there is a red double marker when you aim the head, assuming you play on the easiest difficulty.
Sight Beyond Sights

Kill Möller with a rifle, while in Iron Sights.
Mission 9: Loose Ends

In the loadout screen before playing the mission, make sure to customize your sniper rifle and choose Iron Sights under the Sight option. This will remove the zoom but it's the only way to do this trophy.

This might be a bit tricky as the target is far away from you, but on the easiest difficulty there is no bullet drop, so mark him with the binoculars and try to aim at him as best as you can and shoot. Make a save just before to save some time as if you miss he will start escaping, making it harder.
Shoot for the Moon

Complete three Survival missions.
This can be done either offline or online with up to 3 other people.

In Survival missions, you will need to defend a base against 12 waves of enemies. It doesn't matter if you lose your base, but try not to as you won't be able to refill your ammo if you lose it. But your main objective is to kill every enemy and survive until the end. Try to bring your best guns and play on the easiest difficulty. Unlocking a few skills might help as well.

It's important to note that you must play and finish 3 different Survival missions. Replaying the same one, even doing all waves again, won't count. There are only 3 Survival missions as of writing this:
- Pest Control
- Prime Real Estate
- Unwanted Guests

Change the Channel

Destroy the Prototype Stealth U-Boat hidden in Festung Guernsey.
Story related and cannot be missed. Complete Mission 5: Festung Guernsey

Optional Objectives:
- Neutralize Radio Communications (neutralize radio with crowbar or cut cables with bolt cutters, both can be found around the area)
- Stop the Construction of the Second Mirus Gun (unlocked when investigating the hospital) Shoot the weak point in middle of area

Kill list:
- Lanzo Baumann (burying him in concrete) damage the wooden stand near the concrete machine and he will eventually fall. Alternatively you can also pacify him and throw him in concrete.
Target America

Destroy the V2 Launch Sites and Uncover the target of Operation Kraken.
Story related and cannot be missed. Complete Mission 7: Secret Weapons

Optional Objectives:
- Investigate Weapons Lab (after getting intel as part of the main objective)
- Neutralize the Radio Tower (located South West of the map)
- Acquire Intel on the Shipments (located South East of the map)

Kill List:
- Dr Christian Jungers (with a V2) There's a V2 missile attached nearby, shoot at it when he's below it, if you struggle pacify him and drop him below then shoot the V2
The Kraken Sleeps

Stop Operation Kraken and sink its deadly fleet.
Story related and cannot be missed. Complete Mission 8: Rubble and Ruin

Optional Objectives:
- Neutralize Radio Communications

Kill list:
- Shinji Yokishawa (with Japanese weapon Type 100, Type 14 Nambu) You can bring one of these weapons into the mission or you can find a silenced Nambu in a safe house nearby. The key to the area can be found on an officer.
