Introduction:
First off, this is my very first guide, so don't be TOO harsh with the feedback . Skylanders Spyro's Adventure is all about these guardians called Skylanders. These Skylanders were apparently living creatures on their home planet, but an evil Portal Master froze them and sent them hurling too Earth's stores
. Now our duty is to bring them back to life with the Portal of Power to defend their lands once again.
Remember, have fun! It's an easy so just play casually. As for any trophy 'glitches', suppose you meet a requirement for a Skylander specific trophy (Ex. Climb to the Top
and you don't get the trophy. Don't fret, all you have to is press
and go to the right-most tab and select the Ownership feature.
Step 1: Battle Mode
Before you set off on your journey to greatness, go play a match or two in Battle Mode. It is a good way to learn the ropes such as how to attack and move around. The first time I played, me and my sister played Battle Mode and instantly got the hang of things (Yep, it's that simple). Also, you'll not only learn how to play the game, but pick up the only trophy not involving Adventure Mode, The First Battle
Step 2: Adventure Mode
If you want to speed through this game and only care about the AND don't want to spend any extra money on Skylanders, skip this paragraph and go to the next. Congratulations! You actually got the game to play! I HIGHLY recommend you get a Skylander from each element, so that's 5 more adding to the 3 starting Skylanders. Having all elements increases your Skylander experience, and is a good way to see which Skylander suits you best. I personally like Stealth Elf as she is a very good Skylander to play with. Now, about Adventure Mode, just play through the game as you normally would, not caring about trophies.
Okay, so you want to go through this fast and do not want to spend any extra money than needed. Understood. What you want to do is pay really close attention to level specific trophies, as some require you to play through the whole entire level until the boss, which is quite tedious if you fail without knowing. My only advice to you is use Gill Grunt. Don't bother with the other two.
Step 3: Clean Up
If you read the second paragraph of step 2, skip down to the conclusion. Now that you have completed the game, go back and hunt down those chapter specific trophies. Once that is done, just collect all the collectibles and there you go! Platinum.
Conclusion:
All in all, this game is fun and should not be rushed through. I myself enjoy this a lot more than I expected I would (I loved playing Spyro and Crash Bandicoot on my PS) and had a fun time playing.
