Introduction:

Shady Part of Me is a light-hearted puzzler with a dark theme that takes you on a journey through mental health and seeking the help that comes with it. You play as two parts of one girl; one who is struggling to cope with her surroundings and visions that others can't see and one part that wishes to seek help and find a light at the end of the tunnel. As you progress through each puzzle, you'll also collect Origami Cranes that represent a long lost memory within your character. You can choose to not go on and stay a little while to play with your "friends" but you must inevitably seek the exit to overcome your inner struggles.

Walkthrough:

Step 1: Play through the game

For your first run, you can try for all of the collectibles as you go but because the game has a chapter select feature, it's not necessary so you really just want to enjoy the game in this step. The puzzles aren't too difficult to get through but if you do need any help, walkthrough videos for each Act have been provided under their respective Origami-related trophies so feel free to use those as you need. Once you're done with the game, you will have earned:

Step 2: Clean-up

Now that you've played through the game, there's a chance you may have missed some Origami cranes and/or the three miscellaneous trophies. You can use a very in depth chapter select to find everything you may have missed. The locations of everything you need are provided under their respective trophies so please see those for more information. Once you've cleaned up the collectibles and the miscellaneous trophies, you will earn:

There are 9 pieces of Origami to collect in the Prologue (Exposition): 4 are in "The Swing" and 5 are in "In the Shadows". The breakdown of the individual sections you can find them are as follows (the sections are the individual parts of each part on the chapter select screen):

GOOD GIRL

This will unlock once you've collected all of the Origami cranes in the game. If you collect them all as you go, this will unlock when the final ending cutscene begins to play. If you have to do a little post-game cleanup, this will unlock after you reach the first checkpoint after picking up the last Origami crane you needed.

Where did she go?

After you! No, after you! I insist!
This trophy will unlock naturally as you progress through the game but it will vary as to when it actually unlocks for each player. You just need to switch between the two girls and have them "pass" each other a set amount of times, which again, will happen naturally as you play through the game. This should definitely unlock before you reach Act 4.
Leap of faith

Do not rewind during the fifth backstage puzzle.
You can get this in Act 4 in "The Backstage" section. As the trophy description states, it'll be in part 5 of this area. You just need to get through it without using the rewind button (). If you mess up, you can reload the section via the chapter select menu and try again. This will be all shadow play so just practice a few times and in soon enough time, you'll have it. If you're having any trouble, please reference the video provided under VERY GOOD . The trophy is shown at about the 4:18 mark.
The Other speaks

Hear the Other for the first time.
This will unlock naturally as you go for TRY HARDER and, in turn, GOOD GIRL . In Act 1, in 7th part of "The Escape", you will come to a door with the number 7 on it. There is a collectible Origami crane just above it. Just have either of the girls walk up to it and they'll "knock" on the door. Afterwards, a male voice will speak out. This is "the Other". As soon as he speaks, the trophy will unlock.
Breathe

Take a moment to breathe when advised to.
This trophy is earned in Act 2, in the 9th section of "Introspection". Towards the end of the section, your shadow will be picked up by a large crane while inside of a crate. You'll need to run to a central platform where you'll audibly be told to breathe, after which in big large letters, the word BREATHE will appear on the back wall. Stop moving and don't touch any buttons for about 10 seconds or so, then continue on with the game. The trophy will unlock once you start moving again.
