Introduction:

Welcome to Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal! This is a remake of the 3DS game, Senran Kagura Burst but instead of the 2D gameplay of that game, this features the 3D gameplay of the Versus series.

This list is pretty straightforward. You have to complete all missions and side-missions. Also, you should look for secret documents hidden in the levels during your first playthrough, but you might want to leave defeating the secret enemies until you've leveled up a bit because they are much stronger than the enemies in the stages that they appear. There are no missable trophies, because you can replay the missions at any time.

Difficulty doesn’t matter, so you can complete all missions on one star difficulty. You do need to at least challenge a mission on two star and three star difficulties at least once (not necessarily to complete).

Note: If you're playing the Japanese or Asian versions of the game, and will be reversed.

Walkthrough:

Step 1: Complete the Hanz? National Academy Arc

There are two different story arcs in this game but I recommend starting with the Hanz? National Academy Arc, because it's easier and doesn't have the potential for spoilers like the Hebijo Clandestine Girls' Academy Arc has.

After this step, you will unlock the following trophies:

Wow, 1000!
Peerless Ninja
Explosive Ninja
Top Ninja
Daily Drills
For Justice's Sake
Everyday Youth
Encounter
Good and Evil
New Power
Skirting Shadows
Crushed the Demon of Fists

Step 2: Complete the Hebijo Clandestine Girls' Academy Arc

Make sure to change schools and select Hebijo Clandestine Girls' Academy. To change schools, select School Select in the Ninja Room and select Hebijo Clandestine Girls' Academy. Complete all missions here.

After this step, you will unlock the following trophies:

To the Will of Evil
Daily Training
A Chance Meeting
Yin and Yang
The Power of Our Bond
Crimson Girls
Crushed the Demon Master

Step 3: Free Missions

Now that all free missions have been unlocked, complete all of these for a trophy. You can now collect all secret documents in the stages.

After this step, you will unlock the following trophies:

Free Missions Accomplished
Valedictorian
Tireless Exploration
One Who Knows the Truth
You've Got No Strings
Class Dismissed
Fair Fight
Uphill Battle
We Don't Need No Stinking Badgers
Murder of Crows
Stuffed and Mounted
All the Way Down
No Monkey Business
Run, Rabbit, Run

Step 4: Dressing Room and clean-up

At this point, you might have unlocked all non-dressing room trophies. If not, check their requirements so that you can clean them up. Now it's time to do the dressing room trophies. Check their trophy requirements for more information.

After this step, you will unlock the following trophies:

Yin Master
Yang Master
Flawless
Unparalleled Grace
Godlike Combo
Secret Ninja Art Enthusiast
Parry Expert

51 trophies ( 41  26  )

  • Obtained all trophies.

    Congrats!

  • Cleared all Free Missions.

As the trophy says, complete all Free Missions. You will have to complete all the main missions for both schools, before all the Free Missions will be unlocked.

  • Maximized a character's Yin proficiency.

To increase your Yin proficiency, you have to use a character in Frantic Mode as often as possible. Missions with a lot of enemies are good to level this up. There are five levels and this trophy will unlock when you reached the fifth level.

  • Maximized a character's Yang proficiency.

To increase your Yang proficiency, you have to use a Shinobi transformation on a character. Use Shinobi transformations as soon as possible and use missions with a lot of enemies to level this up more quickly. There are five levels and this trophy will unlock when you reached the fifth level.

  • Reached level 50 with any character.

You can level up a character by using them in missions or use secret growth remedies to level them up. Level 50 is the maximum level in this game.

  • Obtained 10 A ranks in the mission results.

Ranks in this game depend on how quickly you complete a mission and how many hits you take. Getting an A rank isn't that difficult in most missions, providing you you complete them fairly quickly without taking too much damage. There are far more than 10 missions in this game so this will likely unlock naturally. You can always redo a mission to get a higher rank.

  • Cleared a mission without taking a single hit.

As the trophy says, complete a mission with taking a hit. The best way to do this is by using Frantic Mode, because you do more damage in this mode (though you take more damage but you're trying not to get hit at all so it doesn't matter) and doing an early mission.

  • Successfully performed a 300 hit combo.

To get a 300 hit combo, you have to get hits in fairly rapid succession. The easiest way to do this is by using characters like Asuka or Yagy? in a large group of enemies. The Burst Finish from Burst mode also does a lot of hits with a large group of enemies, especially if you're using a character like Asuka or Yagy?.

On a test account, I literally got this by spamming in the Hanz? National Academy Arc Prologue.

  • Activated a total of 100 Secret Ninja Arts in real combat.

The game considers "real combat" as any mission that isn't the Training Grounds.

To use a Secret Ninja Art, you need to be either in Shinobi or Frantic Mode, and have at least one ninja scroll. You can use and for a level 1 Secret Ninja Art or and for a level 2 Secret Ninja Art (which uses two scrolls instead)

  • Performed a total of 100 parries in real combat.

The game considers "real combat" as any mission that isn’t the Training Grounds.

To parry an attack, you have to press just about when you’re going to get hit. When you parry, the enemies affected will be knocked out a bit. If you don't earn this through natural gameplay, head to an early mission with puppet enemies because the timing against these enemies isn't very strict.

  • Activated Burst Mode a total of 10 times in real combat.

The game considers "real combat" as any mission that isn't the Training Grounds.

The Burst gauge under your character’s icon in the top left corner. When it’s filled, you can press to activated Burst Mode where you do more damage. When Burst Mode is finished, it does a Burst Finish where it does a lot of damage and when used against a boss, if it's the final blow, it will strip them of all their clothes. Use Burst Mode 10 times for this trophy.

  • Performed a total of 10 taunts in real combat.

The game considers "real combat" as any mission that isn't the Training Grounds.

To taunt, press . Technically, you don't actually have to be in combat to unlock this (you can do this in areas without enemies), providing it's done in an actual mission.

  • Defeated a total of 1,000 enemies in real combat.

The game considers "real combat" as any mission that isn't the Training Grounds.

As the trophy says, defeat 1,000 enemies. This will unlock naturally, because there are a lot of enemies in this game.

  • Activated 5 consecutive Aerial Raves.

This can be done in Training Grounds.

To perform an Aerial Rave, you have to hit a character various times by tapping (don't mash it) and after a few hits, you will hear a sound effect and see a flash effect. Press to follow your enemies and keep pressing until you see and hear the same effect again. Press again and repeat. You have to do 5 consecutive Aerial Raves without touching the ground.

I found this to be easiest obtained with Yagy?. Go to Training Grounds, transform her into a shinobi and summon a bunch of enemies.

  • Activated Frantic Mode in real combat.

The game considers "real combat" as any mission that isn't the Training Grounds.

After the stage loads, but before the mission actually starts, instead of pressing to advance, hold and at the same time and you will be prompted to press the . Do so and you will activate Frantic Mode. In this mode, you do more damage but you also receive a lot more damage.

  • Challenged a ★ mission.

This trophy is for challenging a mission on one star difficulty. When you're selecting a mission, press to change difficulty. This trophy only requires you to start a mission on this difficulty and not actually complete it.

  • Challenged a ★★ mission.

This trophy is for challenging a mission on two star difficulty. When you're selecting a mission, press to change difficulty. This trophy only requires you to start a mission on this difficulty and not actually complete it. Two star difficulty is the default so after completing the first combat training mission and selecting "Next Mission", without returning to the Ninja Room, it will automatically start the next mission on this difficulty and you will earn the trophy upon finishing Mission 1-2.

  • Challenged a ★★★ mission.

This trophy is for challenging a mission on three star difficulty. When you're selecting a mission, press to change difficulty. This trophy only requires you to start a mission on this difficulty and not actually complete it.

  • Performed Self-Training at the Training Grounds.

In the Ninja Room, go: Mission => Training Grounds. Pick any stage and you will unlock this trophy.

  • Obtained a total of 300 secret growth remedies.

You obtained secret growth remedies by completing stages and they can often be hidden in breakable objects in the stages. This is cumulative so feel free to use as many secret growth remedies to level up your characters. If you need to grind some secret growth remedies, Hanz? mission 4-1 "The Gray Area' has 12x secret growth remedies in a box in the bleachers that can be accessed from the beginning and it saves even if you abort the mission

  • Changed a character's skin tone in the Dressing Room.

From the Ninja Room, go: Dressing Room => Change, then scroll down to the option below the accessories. It should say "Default", because you haven't changed your character's skin tone yet. Select any skin tone aside from "Default" and this will unlock.

  • Changed a character's outfit in the Dressing Room.

From the Ninja Room, go: Dressing Room => Change, then pick the first option, which is outfits. Change the outfit to anything you like for this trophy.

  • Changed the size of an accessory in the Dressing Room.

From the Ninja Room, go: Dressing Room => Change, then equip an accessory. Once equipped, press while this accessory is highlighted, then select any of the "Adj. Scale" options and change it to unlock this trophy.

  • Entered the Dressing Room.

(Exclusive to North America and Europe)

From the Ninja Room, head to Dressing Room and this trophy will unlock automatically.

  • Made a character pose in Diorama Mode.

From the Ninja Room, head to the Dressing Room and select Diorama. From here, select Pose and use or to change the pose.

This is a boss battle that consists of multiple parts.

In the first part, you have to avoid its tail and you can only hit it from the left side so wait until the tail attacks the right side and attack it from the left.

In the second part, you can attack its head or its claws. It has several unblockable attacks so just avoid them. It tends to like shooting fireballs starting from the front to the back. It sometimes attacks with claws but they are rather easy to avoid.

In the third part, there are four tentacles. Their attacks are actually blockable. Concentrate on defeating one tentacle at a time and this part would be over quickly.

In the fourth and final part, you have to watch for claw attacks, fireballs that come down from the sky and most dangerous of all, an attack where it charges a laser-beam like attack and starts from the left of the room to the right and you have to jump over it to avoid it. It's best to stay in the right side of the room for this fight because of this attack, as you can see it coming. Attacking its left claw (on your right) is your best bet here. Daid?ji is really strong and you will be fighting her with all five of Hanz?’s girls so make sure that they are all leveled up properly. • Obtained a total of 30 secret documents.

See One Who Knows the Truth.

  • Obtained all secret documents.

Secret documents are found in missions. In the mission select menu and in the pause menu, the game tells you how many documents are in that stage. They are often hidden in breakable items such as boxes. Some are found by defeating special enemies (which have trophies associated with them) in the stages and they appear as a ghostly figure and will appear when you get close to it. These special enemies are much stronger than the enemies in the stage. In the final boss stages for both stories and the Daid?ji and Rin fights, they unlock automatically after completing them. Not all missions have documents.
