Introduction: Welcome to [PROTOTYPE], a game that's all about having all kinds of various fun as Alex Mercer, a man who woke up in a morgue with supernatural abilities and only one clear thought in his head: revenge. The following road map and guide will walk you through the steps needed to obtain the Platinum Trophy in the quickest and most painless way possible.

It is possible due to a glitch to miss out on the Pt trophy, but thankfully it's easy to avoid. The glitch occurs if you obtain Platinum Medal scores in all of the events before you unlock the Au trophy. To avoid this and make sure you can get Pt, simply make sure that you have at least one event that you have not obtained a platinum level score on before you unlock Au. As long as you have at least one event that stays at Gold when the game gives you the option to go for platinum scores, you will not have any problems. Thanks to blymberry for discovering this and bringing it to my attention.
Please note that this is actually very unlikely to happen to you unless you specifically look up the times for Platinum Medals and try to achieve them before unlocking Au. The Platinum Medal times and scores are very hard to achieve and you aren't likely to get them right away, so long as you just focus on getting all Gold Medals first and then worry about Platinum Medals later once you have all the Gold ones, you should be fine.

The only cheat code this game has simply allows you to unlock Alex's "Body Surf" attack without spending any EP on it, and will not disable your ability to earn trophies. To use this cheat, on the game's Main Menu, select Extras and then Cheat Code, and enter Right, Right, Left, Down, Up, Up, Up, Down.

And now, onto the meat of the map and guide. Let's play [PROTOTYPE]!

Step 1: Medium Playthrough
You will need to play on medium to unlock hard mode, so that will be our first order of business. Do not start on easy as you will not unlock hard mode that way. It should be simple enough to learn how the game is played as the game does a good job keeping you informed of how to use Alex's abilities. However, you will want to keep aware of the 5 missable trophies, as it's much easier to get them now than it is on hard mode. The easiest one to get is Nice Guy, which requires you to complete the game with 10 or less Civilians consumed. This should be fairly easy to get as there are plenty of military personal and infected to consume when you need health.

The next two, Half-Truths and Mankind Is Your Mask, both require you to complete a certain number of missions without raising a military alert (1 and 3 respectively). Hard To Kill requires you to complete the game without dying. Check the trophy guide for strategies on these, but the big thing to keep in mind if you want to get these now is to save before you start every mission, and should you die or raise an alert on a mission where it's possible not to, quit back to the main-menu and reload your most recent save to try again. Finally, Return Fire requires you to catch an item throw at you by a Hydra and throw the item back at it, which can only be done during the story. Check the trophy guide for more detailed information on when you can do this (thanks to DJDK-ec for pointing out you can miss this trophy).

Once you complete the story missions, you will move on to...

Step 2: Free Roam
The city is now your playground and you may do as you please. In this step you will be going for all remaining trophies that are not Revenge Revisited. Obtain all of the collectable items throughout the city, complete all the various events, complete the various killing trophies, and more. Please refer to the guide for information on how to unlock all the various trophies available to you in this step.

Step 3 (optional): New Game +
If you missed any of the 5 missable trophies outlined in step 1, or you just get bored of grinding some of the more ridiculous kill trophies, feel free to start a New Game +. This allows you to start a new game at an equal or lesser difficultly than you've already played on (if you have followed this map, you will have Easy + and Normal + available), while transferring all your unlocked abilities, kills, collectables, completed events, and more to the new game. This includes missions completed without alerts, so if you still need some for Mankind is your Mask, you can finish that here, and also allows you to breeze through the story to get back to the point where you can get Return Fire if you missed it earlier. At the same time, it will reset your number of deaths and number of consumed civilians so you can go for Hard To Kill and Nice Guy if you missed them the first time through. If you need this step, I recommend playing this on Easy.

Whether you need this step or not, once you have all the other trophies, you are ready for...

Step 4: Hard Mode
At this point, the only trophies you should have left are Revenge Revisited and of course Platinum Trophy. You only need to make it through the end of the story, so focus on that and ignore everything else unless you want the extra experience to buy upgrades. Check the trophy guide for strategies on bosses, as well as information about an infinite health glitch and a New Game + glitch that will let you bring upgrades into your Hard mode playthrough. If you don't want to use glitches, just keep chipping away until you finish hard mode and get your platinum trophy.

Conclusion:
And that's about all there is to [PROTOTYPE]. The game will throw a few tough challenges at you (I'm looking at you movement events), but if you keep at it, you should be able to best this game and get a shiny Platinum trophy. Best of luck!

  • Platinum Trophy

You must unlock all other [PROTOTYPE] trophies to unlock this trophy.
  • Complete Story Mode on hard difficulty.

You only need to focus on the story missions for this trophy. See the various boss fight trophies for tips if you get stuck on any of them, and check out the strategy in Unnatural Selection for racking up EP if you're feeling too underpowered. The Whipfist, Blade Air Slice, and Air Critical Pain Devastator will be your friends in this run as well. To buy the Air Critical Pain Devastator, you will first have to buy the Palm Slam, Critical Pain Devastator, and Cannonball upgrades.

This guide by uberschveinen of GameFAQs is written specifically for Hard Mode, and can help you out immensely if you are having trouble. It's written with the 360 version's controls though, so keep that in mind: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/xbox360/942351-prototype/faqs/56909

An infinite health glitch has been discovered by DarkAmon and ShadowCthulu that should make hard mode much easier for you. Start up the Disembowelment event, let the soldiers shoot you until your Adrenaline Rush activates, and then restart the event from the pause menu.

You'll lose the infinite health if you fail a mission and have to restart from a checkpoint, and during any part of the story where your powers become limited.

There is also a glitch that will let you start Hard difficulty with Abilities unlocked from a lower difficulty's save data. Thanks to devonm0 for detailing the glitch. I have confirmed it works on PS3, and thanks to m4jX for confirming it works on PS4. You must have completed story mode and unlocked any New Game + option for this to work. From the game's main menu, select NEW, which will take you to the list of difficulties. Select either EASY+ or NORMAL+ depending on what you have available. You will be taken to a Load screen. Select the STORY MODE COMPLETE + file you want to import and Load it. Once the Load is completed, you will be taken to a Save screen. Press :circle: to cancel saving, and you will be taken back to the list of difficulties. Now select HARD and Save your game to start it.

The game's first mission is a tutorial that always gives you a fixed set of powers as well as prevents you from accessing the Upgrades menu, but you can still check if it worked by pausing the game and selecting the Save option. On the Save menu, find your newly created Hard mode save and check that it has a + after the mission name. If the + is there, the glitch worked. If it's not, it didn't work, quit and try the entire process over again. A video showcasing how to do the glitch as well as more ways you can check that it worked is below:

  • Consume 200 characters to boost your health.

To consume a character, approach them, grab them with CIRCLE, and then press TRIANGLE to consume them. Consuming characters will give you health (and you will consume for health often), and can also give you memories and abilities if prompted by the story or if the person you consume is a Web of Intrigue target. You should have this unlocked by the time you finished your first playthrough of the story mode, but if you don't get it by the end of the story, there are plenty of people to consume in Free Roam, so just walk the streets and eat everyone until you unlock the trophy.

You can track you progress under the Statistics -> Consumes page on the pause menu.
  • Kill 53,596 infected.

Unfortunately, you will have to do some serious grinding to unlock this trophy. After two run throughs (second using New Game + of course), completing all of the kill and war events, and going for other trophies where killing infected is involved, I only had around 18,500 infected kills. So try to save this one for last so that you already have some of the kills under your belt. When it comes down to this one, the general best strategy is to pick a kill event where you can rack up many infected kills quickly and keep playing it over and over. The most obvious would be the Rolling Thunder event, where you get two minutes in the Thermobaric Tank to kill as many infected as possible. This event has the highest number of points required for the Platinum medal (750) of any kill event making this the optimal event to grind for kills.

You can track your progress under the Statistics -> Infected page on the pause menu, but there is no total "Infected Killed" statistic, so you will have to put on your mathematician's hat and do a bit of addition.
  • Destroy 2,000 vehicles.

All vehicles count toward this. Civilian cars, APCs, tanks, and helicopters are all fair game. You will destroy plenty of vehicles throughout the story, but it will not be enough to unlock this trophy. The easiest way to rack up credit for this is to steal a tank or APC from the military, and just run over civilian vehicles. As long as you don't fire at any military vehicles or otherwise kill a lot of military personnel while they are watching, you will be free to crush vehicles without consequence.

You can track your progress under the Statistics -> Vehicles page on the pause menu.
  • Destroy 25 Infected Water Towers before they hatch.

This is fairly easy once you have the Infected Vision ability and have learned how to fly helicopters. Hijack a helicopter, fly to an infected zone (red on the map), activate your Infected Vision ability, and fly around the rooftops looking for water towers that are glowing a bright red/orange color. If you don't see any right away, just keep flying around and eventually some should spawn. Lock on and destroy them from a distance so that they do not hatch. It shouldn't take long as you will have already had to destroy some infected water towers in the story.

You can track your progress under the Statistics -> Infected page on the pause menu.
  • Complete all Consume Events.

There are consume events for both military and infected. To start one, find the person you are meant to consume and consume them. The infected events are quite simple: you will be tasked with destroying a hive, so steal a tank or helicopter and get to work. There are 9 total infected consume events.

The military consume events are both more varied and more complicated. There are four types of events you can be tasked with.
The first is consuming all military personnel with information on the outbreak before the time limit expires. This is rather straightforward: get to the first target, consume him, move to the next target, consume him, and repeat until you complete the event.
The second is consuming scientists in order to try and find information about someone's location, with the optional task of killing all of the defenders (which will be a few solders). You will have a time limit to reach the scientists' location, but once you get there you have all the time you need to finish. The easiest way to do this is go there in a military disguise, stealth consume or patsy the defenders first, and then consume the scientists.
The third is destroying a military base. This is harder than the infected events of destroying a hive as the military have better defenses. Keep stealing nearby tanks and helicopters and just keep firing at the base to eventually destroy it.
The fourth and hardest is infiltrating a base, consuming a target, and then leave the base. The first part is the hardest as there is a strict time limit for consuming the base commander and getting inside the base. There will be plenty of viral detectors around, so the fastest way is probably to run inside, grab the commander and consume him, then get out of there (as Alex, not disguised as the commander) and find a place where you aren't watched to switch to the commander disguise. Make your way back to the base and get inside quickly before the viral detectors go off again. Once inside the base, the timer is gone, so take your time and wait for the right moment to stealth consume your target, and then leave.
There are 26 total military consume events.

You can track your progress and find the location of the next event under the Events -> Consume page on the pause menu.
  • Collect all Landmark collectibles scattered across New York City.

There are 200 blue orbs that make up the Landmark collectibles in this game. You must track them all down to unlock this trophy. ThisIsWar has compiled a set of videos that break the game map up into regions and cover them one by one to make it easy to track them all down: WoI, Events, Landmarks, and Hints Mini-Guide

You can track your progress under the Statistics -> General page on the pause menu.
  • Collect all Hint Collectibles scattered across New York City.

There are 50 pink/purple orbs that make up the Landmark collectibles in this game.

  • Complete a mission without causing a single Military Alert.

    See Mankind Is Your Mask.
  • Complete 3 missions without causing a single Military Alert.

Military alerts will be triggered when any military personnel who can see you observe you using your offensive powers, attacking other military personnel, using a defensive power, consuming anyone, picking up cars or people, or changing your disguise. You might also trigger an alert if you run down the street using the R2 button and hop over a tank. Viral Detectors can also cause an alert if you stay in their radius long enough, so pay attention to the alert meter if one is nearby.
Many missions will have scripted alerts in them, making it impossible to get any credit towards this trophy. However, the missions below are very easy to complete without raising an alert. Be sure to save before attempting them so you can quit to the main menu and reload your save should you raise an alert in these missions.

See this post for the mission walkthroughs: Mankind Is Your Mask - View Single Post

You can track your progress under the Statistics -> General page on the pause menu. This statistic carries over to a New Game + save, so if you screw up or have trouble with one mission, start a New Game + and repeat one of the other missions again to unlock the trophy.
  • Kill 50 characters in 5 seconds.

This is easily done in an APC or tank. Find a road with a high concentration of civilians on both sides of the road. Start running over them on one side, and fire your cannon at the civilians at the other side of the road. The trophy should unlock without a problem. Alternatively, you could wait until you play one of the two kill events where you get a Thermobaric Tank (Rolling Thunder and Demolition) as it should be very easy to unlock this due to the large blast radius of the tank's primary weapon.
  • Catch any object tossed by a Hydra; and throw it back.

Hydras are big red tentacle type things that pop out of the ground. The easiest and quite possibly the only location to get this trophy in during the mission "Things to Come" where you have to protect the Bloodtox pumper from being destroyed by waves of infected. The final wave before the mission ends will consist of two Leaders and two Hydras. Take care of the Leaders first so that they don't destroy the pump, and then focus on one of the Hydras. Keep a decent distance from them and their main method of attack will be to pick up nearby civilian vehicles or piece of pavement and throw it at you. You want to press CIRCLE right before this object would hit you and Alex should catch it. Then all you need to do is press CIRCLE again to throw it back at the Hyrda. When it hits, you should unlock the trophy. You can also try using the Longshot Grab from your Whipfist if you have it unlocked to grab the object while it's in midair.
  • Destroy 20 Helicopters in a single Helicopter flight.

This trophy is no longer a pain thanks to PS3T.org user HUYI and YouTube user Thegamingguru65. Simply put, once you have the ability to fly helicopters from the mission "Biological Imperative", hijack a helicopter, fly to the location where you start the Friendly Fire kill event, and destroy the helicopter sitting there 20 times. Here's a video showing you how to make the helicopter respawn after destroying it, and to prove that unlocking this trophy really is that easy:
Alternatively, you can start either the Friendly Fire or Death From Above kill events. These task you with destroying enemy helicopters that are out to get you. You will get infinite homing missiles and if they blow up your helicopter before you get twenty of them, it will end the event which will prompt the game to ask you if you'd like to try again, which will give you another chance at the trophy with no extra effort on your part.
  • Kill 15 characters with a single Whipfist attack.

Before you can unlock this trophy, you will need to buy the Whipfist Power and Street Sweeper upgrades (found under the powers tab). Once you have those, this is easily done by going into an infected zone and finding an area with a lot of regular infected running around. They should come to you to attack, at which point you use the Street Sweeper. If you killed 15 infected with it, you unlock the trophy. If not, wait for more to swarm you and try again.
  • Unlock the Web of Intrigue.

This trophy is story related and cannot be missed. It will unlock near the end of the mission "Look for Clues About Your Past" near the start of the game.
  • Discover what happened to Alex Mercer through the Web of Intrigue.

You need to consume James Winninger to unlock this trophy. See Web Of Knowledge for more information.
  • Acquire all nodes of the Web of Intrigue.

The game will explain the Web of Intrigue to you near the end of the "Look for Clues About Your Past" mission, but if you need a refresher course, you will see the image shown in the trophy tile pop up on your map. When that happens, you will need to go to that location and consume the person with that icon over their head to add to the Web of Intrigue. There will be many targets tied to the story and consume events, and you can also find targets inside military bases, so check them often as well.
I recommend not going out and specifically looking for targets until you have completed everything else there is to do in Free Roam mode, as you will find that many targets will crop up without you needing to look. When they do, you should drop whatever you are doing and go consume them. It's easier to restart a scripted event such as a mission or event than it is to find the target again. Also, do not worry if a target dies as they will respawn again later, so you cannot miss this trophy.
When you do finish everything else available and still need a few more targets to finish your Web of Intrigue (I only had 11 left to find), ThisIsWar has provided a map of targets and some extra information about filling in the Web that will be more than enough to help you finish unlocking this trophy: https://www.playstationtrophies.org/forum/218011-post8.html
Alternatively, people have found another guide to be useful. This breaks the entire Web down based on new targets that appear after each mission, and includes links to maps to show you where the targets will appear. Thanks to WesleySr for the link: https://www.gamefaqs.com/ps3/942350-prototype/faqs/57358

You can track your progress under the Statistics -> General page on the pause menu.
  • Patsy 5 military personnel.

You will need to purchase the Pasty upgrade (under the Disguise tab on the upgrades page) to unlock this trophy. You will have to use a military disguise, and be of a higher rank than the person you wish to patsy. This is easily done after infiltrating a military base as you will have assumed the form of the base commander, and everyone inside should be a lower rank than you. Target one of the military personnel inside, hold the R1 button, and then press SQUARE when the icon lights up on the right side of the screen to pasty the poor sap. Wait for the ability to recharge and then repeat.
  • Evade 10 strike teams.

To evade a strike team, you must first get the military to call in a strike team. Just go to any location where there are military personnel and do something to raise an alert, such as killing them or using one of your attack powers. Then just stay alive and make sure the alert is maintained and soon someone will call in an airstrike. You will see "Strike Team Inbound" appear on the screen and should see some "lightning bolt in a circle" icons appear on your minimap, which are the strike team. Now that you have one called, just run away and try to hide somewhere that nobody in the military can see you and you can change your disguise. Try looking for alleys or dropping from a tall building. Once you see the "SWITCH" trigger pop-up on screen, switch and then wait wherever you are. The strike team should go away, and you will see "STRIKE TEAM EVADED" appear on you screen. Repeat this 9 times for the trophy.

You can track your progress under the Statistics -> General page on the pause menu.
  • Infiltrate 10 Military Bases disguised as a Commander.

You will need to infiltrate a military base in the mission "The Wheels of Chance" and so the game will teach you how to do so. After you know how and have completed the mission, simply repeat what you did in the mission at nine other bases to unlock this trophy. It will be beneficial to you do to so as not only will you work towards the trophy, but inside the bases will be other military personnel you can consume to upgrade your skills with weapons and military vehicles, along with some Web of Intrigue targets.

You can track your progress under the Statistics -> Military page on the pause menu
  • Destroy 25 strike teams.

Once again, you will need to have a strike team called in for this. Now that you have one called, destroy all the helicopters that came (these are the lightning bolt marks on your minimap). Use a tank or another helicopter, throw things at them, steal the helicopters from their pilots, whatever you please (using a tank is recommended so you can work towards Surface-To-Air as well). Once you have destroyed all units in the strike team, you will see "STRIKE TEAM DESTROYED" appear on your screen. Please note that sometimes the strike team brings in some of the flying viral detectors which must also be destroyed.

You can track your progress under the Statistics -> General page on the pause menu.
  • Seize 50 vehicles from enemy hands.

Another trophy that you should easily get before you complete the story mode. But if not, it should come as you complete other trophies involving military vehicles (Misconception, Threat Elevated, Surface-To-Air, etc). Or you can either look for helicopters in the sky and hijack them with your Longshot Grab, or go to either military or infected areas and steal some tanks. No matter how you choose to do it, this is fairly simple.

You can track your progress under the Statistics -> Hijacks page on the pause menu.
  • SME

Gain the ability to drive and fly all vehicles.

This trophy is story related and cannot be missed. You will gain the ability to drive APCs and tanks in the mission "The Wheels of Chance", and you will gain the ability to fly helicopters in the mission "Biological Imperative". Once you consume the pilot in "Biological Imperative" the trophy will unlock.
  • Shoot down 50 helicopters while driving armor.

This is somewhat easy. You can steal a tank and then drive around the city looking for helicopters flying in the sky, or just cause an alert while in a tank and let the helicopters (and fresh tanks) come to you. Either way, lock onto the helicopters with L2 and fire when you have a clear shot. It shouldn't take much to take them down. You should be able to take out a large chuck of this trophy, if not complete it altogether, while working towards the Threat Elevated trophy.

You can track your progress under the Statistics -> Vehicles page on the pause menu.
  • Use the Upgrade Menu to acquire an Upgrade.

This trophy is story related and cannot be missed. You will be prompted to buy your first upgrade before you can start the mission "Behind the Glass" which occurs near the start of the game. The game will teach you how to buy upgrades and once you have bought the required Diveroll upgrade, the trophy will unlock.
  • Acquire all available upgrades.

A rather easy trophy, you just need to put in the time to acquire enough EP to purchase all of the upgrades. You will easy have enough long before you finish all the extra side missions such as collectibles and events. So just keep chugging along and this will be yours in time. However, if you are impatient and need this ASAP, this strategy discovered by osakamitsu on our sister site for easy EP during the "Biological Imperative" mission should be highly effective:

"You can most likely do it with any helicopter, but I am about half way through the game and I am on a mission where I have to jack this helicopter and it has like 160 missiles or something and a machine gun. You are told to go fly over the infected area and scan the infected water towers for a suitable enemy type. Well instead of doing that fly to the infected area and start shooting the infected water towers that are around all infected the areas. You get like 8,000 EP for each. Shoot 25 of them and you get the achievement for killing the infected water towers without them hatching. As long as you properly hijack the helicopter and no one suspects you as a bad guy then no one attacks you while this is going on. 1 water tower takes 1 missile. 1 fly through with this helicopter can net you 1,192,000 EXP assuming you find a water tower per missile! And even more than that if you use your machine gun. I am buying upgrades left and right! ones that cost like 273,000 EXP are mine in no time. I usually go until I have about 500,000 EXP or so and crash the heli and do it all over again. Hope this helps!"
I can also confirm that this works just as well outside of that mission. The only difference is that you'll need to find another helicopter by yourself when you run out of ammunition. On the plus side, shortly after that mission you will unlock the Infected Vision ability, which makes the infected water towers much easier to spot.

Thanks to JK_Blade for pointing out that I forgot a major detail regarding this trophy: Not all of the upgrades required for this trophy can be purchased in the manner described above. You will also need to infiltrate the military bases and consume marked military personnel to acquire some of the upgrades needed to unlock this trophy.
  • Destroy 10 Military Bases or Infected Hives in New York City.

This is much more easily done going after Hives as they have much weaker defenses against you if you come after them in a tank or helicopter, which you will want to do to take down the hive quickly. So just steal a tank or helicopter, find an infected zone, get to the hive in the center, and destroy it. If you go after bases, follow the same strategy: grab some heavy weaponry and blow up the base (from the outside, not inside like you did during the "Escape the Hunters" mission at the start of the game).

You can track your progress under the Statistics -> Infected and Military pages on the pause menu.
  • Consume 50 Web Targets.

    See Web Of Knowledge.
  • Au

Achieve a rating of Gold or better in all Events.

    See Pt.
  • Complete the game while consuming 10 Civilians or fewer.

This is actually quite simple. There are so many military personnel and various types of infected that you should never need to consume any civilians. You can tell the difference between civilians and infected civilians (who can be consumed without consequence) by looking at their appearance and behavior. Civilians look like normal people, and will generally ignore you or run away from you. Infected civilians look and move rather like zombies, and will run towards you to try and attack you. Please note that civilians who are Web of Intrigue targets are not counted against you either.

You can track your progress under the Statistics -> Consumes page on the pause menu (listed as "Pedestrians Consumed").
  • Complete Story Mode in any difficulty without dying.

Save before every mission, and if you should die, quit to the main menu and reload your save so you can try the mission again. If you are patient, you should be able to get this the first time you play the game on medium. However, if you are having trouble, you can continue to play without getting this trophy right away, keep playing past the story missions until you have unlocked all of Alex's abilities, and then start a New Game + on Easy. This will carry over all of your abilities, putting you at a huge advantage and making this trophy feel like it should only be a bronze instead of a gold.
This trophy just doesn't count deaths in missions: if you die at any time before you finish the story, you lose your chance at this trophy unless you reload a save with 0 deaths. Your death count needs to be at 0 when you complete the final mission. However, only actual deaths, where the game tells you "ALEX IS DEAD", count against you. If you simply fail a mission, you can restart from the last checkpoint without penalty. This trophy will unlock after the credits and you have started playing again in Free Roam mode.
sulhaq has come up with an alternate way to keep your death count at 0 without quitting the game and having to start the entire mission over: "Get the Adrenaline Surge ability ASAP. Now, whenever you are about to die, instead of dying you will go into Critical Mass to give you one last shot at a Devastator. Instead of using a Devastator, just pause the game, reload the last checkpoint, and try again." To reload the last checkpoint from the pause menu, go to Quit -> Restore Checkpoint.

You can track your progress under the Statistics -> General page on the pause menu.
  • Run over 500 characters in a single tank.

This is fairly easy, but will take about 10-15 minutes. This has to be done without getting out of your tank; if you get out or your tank is destroyed, the count resets. Once you have learned how to drive tanks and APCs, steal one and then just drive around the city running over civilians. It helps to just keep driving over sidewalks as most of the civilians will be on them. Try to stay in the normal areas of the city so you only run over civilians. If you go into the military zones, you run the risk of running over military personnel and triggering an alert and possibly having your tank destroyed. If you go into the infected zones, you also run the risk of running over military personnel, and you also run the risk of having some Hunters follow you. Because of this, it is easier to do this trophy either right after you've learned how to drive APCs and tanks, or after the story in Free Roam mode.

You can track your progress under the Statistics -> Kills page on the pause menu, but please note that this counts all total Speed Bumps, so make note of how many you already had when you start you run for the trophy.

Achieve a Platinum Medal in all Events.

GLITCH WARNING: It is possible due to a glitch to miss out on the Pt trophy, but thankfully it's easy to avoid.

Before the game will show you Platinum Medal times and scores for events, you will have to achieve Gold Medals in all of them first. However, any scores you have that already qualify for a Platinum Medal will be upgraded once the scores are revealed. You will unlock events as you play through the story, and once you have finished it they will all be available to play. ThisIsWar was kind enough to assemble a collection of videos that show how to complete these events to the Platinum Medal standard better than I could ever explain in words, so please see the following posts if you are having trouble with an event.

There are also some good tips pertaining to some of the events in this thread which I also recommend that you look over if you are having trouble: pt trophy advice given here, ask any questions you need - PS3Trophies.org

ChronoAlien provided me with these tips on using Alex's Airdash ability, which proved to be very important information I needed to complete some of the tougher movement events:
"Doubledash is really what is says, but it's all about the angle when you use them. Alex will dash the same way he is traveling, so naturally, if you wanna move fast across roofs, you want to make sure he's going straight before you dash. If he isn't, you will dash either upwards or downwards, wasting valuable time. If I wanna travel fast, I dash fast, and I NEVER use the Glide ability on 'movement events.'
Climbing Doubledash is just a little advancement really. 'Point to Point' event is a great place to master it, as the second mark, and last mark requires you to use them, almost at least.
As soon as Alex leaves the ground using jump, as he is traveling upwards, doubledash to make him continue traveling, hence, making him climb with a doubledash. This saves you a full second, even 2, instead of having to dash into a wall and then running up."

You can track your progress under the Events page on the pause menu (there is a separate tab for each kind of event).

Secret trophies

  • Complete the Hunter Boss Encounter

This trophy is story related and cannot be missed. This boss encounter occurs during the mission "Crossing the T." This will be rather challenging as you will have to face many Hunters at a point in the game where you have very few abilities. There are also plenty of military personnel in the area trying to kill you as well. Consume them for health if you need it. Very early in the fight, you will unlock the Claws offensive ability. You can use this to help in this fight, but you're still likely to do more damage using the various weapons in the base instead. I recommend that you also buy the Shield defensive ability and use it to help absorb incoming fire from the military personnel. When you get far enough into the fight, you will be tasked with blowing up the military base. When that happens, try to ignore the Hunters and focus on blowing up the six marked tanks with military weapons to end the fight and unlock the trophy.
  • Complete the Specialist Boss Fight.

This trophy is story related and cannot be missed. This boss fight occurs during the mission "Errand Boy." The Specialist is pretty easy to beat, especially if you have purchased the Whipfist offensive ability. Lock on and keep your distance from him. Start charging a jump and wait for him to stop holding up his electric wand and point the laser site on his gun at you. At this point, quickly jump to one side and use the and use the Whipfist's special attack (press TRIANGLE) in midair to damage him. At one point he will summon some infected to attack you, and then later he will summon some military personnel to attack you as well. Consume them for health if you need it, but otherwise you should keep focusing on attacking him. Just keep dodging and attacking and he should fall with little trouble.
