Introduction:

Pro Evolution Soccer 2016, better known as PES, celebrates its 20th anniversary with this edition. Boasting improved visuals and superior game play than its predecessors, this years PES game is a fantastic representation of the football game. Its trophy list is a nice mixture forcing you to play all of the games main modes so you'll have to be really patient and play a lot of time. I recommend playing the game on Beginner and setting the time length to 5mins when setting out to get most trophies. You can not change the difficulty manually in the games myClub mode, this can only be done by winning games.

You can use this guide anywhere but please give me the credits (matiasmab21) and also to the guy I quoted in some parts (CRAIG_83) because some parts of his PES 2015 guide were used here due to the fact that some trophies are 100% the same.

Walkthrough:

Step 1 – Training
If you are already an experienced player, this might be a bit boring. However, if you are not that good at shooting and dribbiling, you will really enjoy this way. Unlock these trophy first. You will also get a lot of GP . Select the training mode, follow the instructions and start working!

Step 2 – First Exhibition & Competition Wins
These are really easy too. Just select each of these cups (5 min, beginner difficulty), win 1 match and then quit to the main menu and select another cup.

Step 3 – Become A Legend (BAL)
Unlike PES 2015, here you will have to play many more matches (between 60-80). The method people used last year, was to play a whole season until July 2016 and then simulate all the rest of the matches until January 2017 to get the World Player of the Year. This will not work here. You will have to play some more matches on your second season too. Details will be described in that trophy. For now, just select Messi or C. Ronaldo (you can max their stats if you want) and start in a BBVA league team (I advise Real Madrid or Barcelona):

Step 4 – Master League (credit to CRAIG_83)
You can actually get most of the ML trophies without playing a single game. Head over to Edit mode and make Barcelona a team full of 109 players and switch them with a Spanish 2nd division team. Now select Barcelona as your ML team and SIM all the way through the season, you should easily get promoted and thus earning the promotion trophy as well as your first wins. You may get a job offer from another club at the end of the season so make a save and take any job to get the relevant trophy then load back up Barcelona save and SIM all the way through another season. You should have picked up every trophy you can from your European crusade. You will get job offers from National teams as well as clubs, choose a nation then play the qualifying games making sure you win and the World Cup games to earn there respective trophies. Rinse and repeat for the S. American and Asian trophies by editing a team playing in that continents major competition and SIM your way to success.

Step 5 – Online (credit to CRAIG_83)
Next up is tackling the Online part of the game. You only really need to win 2 games, 1 in Online Divisions and the other in the Competitions. The only tip here really is to pick a team you're good with and try your best for a win. For the promotion trophy once you get the required number of points you can skip the rest of the season and earn the promotion. The Best of the Bunch trophy requires you to get the man of the match in a team lobby game, for this I recommend you boost with another person and trade a win each. Check out the boosting threads for partners (PS3: LINK and PS4: LINK). These trophies should now be in your cabinet:

Step 6 – MyClub
These trophies will be really tedious. You have no choice but to play as many matches as you can. I advise that you start only playing VS COM in normal mode, get better players, manager and a high spirit (at least 80). The difficulty VS COM in each category starts as: Weaker, if you win 2 in a row, regular, if you win another 2, stronger and then if you win, the next difficulty appears so if you always win so you will have to play 6 matches per difficulty, from beginner to SuperStar. Once you reach SuperStar, hell will appear because of the "lovely" trophy: "Won 6 a in a row in SuperStar). CPU will be practically unbeatable but the key there is to have at least 95 in your team's spirit and always keep your players in excellent condition. Let them rest when they're tired.

As for sim matches, you will lose all of them if your team spirit is lower than 75 that's why I told you to start vs the ordinary VS CPU matches. Due to that, you will play your first sim match and win and with that you will get a trophy but even if you lose the rest of them (you will not if you have a +75 spirit team), you will be promoted anyway to the next division and get another trophy. After this, we only have the online matches in myClub mode, this will be easy too. Many people are desperate to get Messi, C. Ronaldo and high quality players but they just "rent" them so their team spirit is very low and they shouldn't be a challenge for you if you did things correctly and increased your team spirit.

This is awarded for coming top of your league at the end of the season. If you are playing on Beginner difficulty then this should be no problem, just make sure you score and assist plenty as this will be helpful towards the other trophies. See World Player of the Year for more details.
League's Best Eleven

Awarded for being picked for the Team of the Season in [Become a Legend].

Credit to CRAIG_83 for his help with this.

Being the leagues MVP and coming top of the scoring and assist charts will usually net you this trophy, you will have to play the majority of the games to get this to count as you can't just play 1 or 2 games. See World Player of the Year for more details.
Best European Soccer Player

Awarded for winning the UEFA Best Player in Europe Award in [Become a Legend].

As I mentioned before, the best to do would be to choose Messi or C. Ronaldo in their original teams and start playing all matches (you can only skip a few games. The ones I skipped were the away matches in the cups and then the last 8 season matches and friendly national matches). You will get this trophy around September and then in January next year you will not get the world player of the year. No matter what you do, you will have to play for another season but don't worry as you will skip many more matches there.

Best S. American Soccer Player

Awarded for being named South American Player of the Year in [Become a Legend].

When you've finished with the UEFA and world player of the year trophies, move Messi/C. Ronaldo to a brazilian team (I moved Messi to Corinthians)
then I played all home matches in cups and half of the league matches and got this trophy by the end of the year.
Best Asian Soccer Player

Awarded for being named Footballer of the Year in Asia in [Become a Legend].

After winning everything in Corinthians, I moved Messi to Gamba Osaka and played the same amount of matches (half the cups, half the national league). The trophy will pop by December!
World Player of the Year

Awarded for being named World Player of the Year in [Become a Legend].

This is awarded for becoming the World Player of the Year, this award can not be obtained within the first season of your Become a Legend career. The earliest you can obtain this is in your 2nd season.

You find my full Guide and Guides other users used such as moving Messi to the Holland league (there are less matches there) and did the same than me. However I did everything in the BBVA league and ended up playing less matches than them (63 total matches. 51 team matches and 12 national matches).

NATIONAL MATCHES:

I selected Argentina and only played the American Cup/Cup of the Americas and Eliminatories matches (I was always the player with most goals and assists).

First Glory: Master League

Awarded for your first win in [Master League].
Play and win a match in Master League. For a quick and easy game set the time to 5 minutes and the difficulty to Beginner, you can also choose to SIM this game and if you win the trophy will pop.
Promoted

Awarded for being promoted to a Top League in [Master League].
Get your team promoted from one of the 2nd Divisions in Master League. For quick and easy games, set the time to 5 minutes and the difficulty to Beginner but you can also use an edited team and SIM all the way through the season.
To Pastures Anew

Awarded for moving teams in [Master League].
At the end of a Master League season you will get the opportunity to manage a different club, just accept a new contract from a new club and the trophy will pop. You will automatically do this if you followed my steps for World Player of the Year, best South American player etc.
Champion Manager

Awarded for winning the League Title in any of the Top Leagues featured in [Master League].

Kings of Europe

Awarded for becoming a UEFA Champions League Winner in [Master League].

Awarded for becoming a Copa Libertadores Winner in [Master League].

The quickest and easiest way to gain all ML trophies is to completely edit a team's players to 109, set the difficulty to Beginner and then SIM your way through an entire season, with your team of superstars you should win every single game in all competitions. For all the European trophies I edited Barcelona and simmed the entire season, for the Latin American trophies I edited Atletico Mineiro and simmed the entire season, I also did the same for the Asian trophies but I cannot remember who I edited but any Team playing in the ACL will do. Winning all the games will also get you the No.1 Club trophy, I got this while simming as Barcelona.
Leading the Nation

Awarded for becoming a national team manager in [Master League].
At the end of a successful season you may get the opportunity to manage a National side, accepting a contract with any nation will award you this trophy.
World Champions

Awarded for an International Cup Winner in [Master League].
Once you have a contract with a National side, make sure you win all of your qualifiers and then you can SIM your way to the World Cup (year 2018), win the World Cup and the trophy is yours.
Silver Collector: Basic

Awarded for obtaining Silver in all [Basic] level Skills Training.
This trophy will be awarded for getting to grips with the basics of the game, they are by no means a real challenge and getting a Silver rank should be relatively easy.
Silver Collector: Intermediate

Awarded for obtaining Silver in all [Intermediate] level Skills Training.
This trophy will be awarded for getting to grips with the Intermediate aspects of the game, they are by no means a real challenge and getting a Silver rank should be relatively easy.
Silver Collector: Advanced

Awarded for obtaining Silver in all [Advanced] level Skills Training.
This trophy will be awarded for getting to grips with the Advanced controls of the game, they are by no means a real challenge and getting a Silver rank should be relatively easy.
Silver Collector: Expert

Awarded for obtaining Silver in all [Expert] level Skills Training.
This trophy will be awarded for getting to grips with the Expert controls of the game, they are by no means a real challenge but some can be a little tricky.
Online Debutant

Awarded for completing your debut match in [Online].
Play any match online and this trophy will pop.
First ONLINE DIVISIONS win

Awarded for winning your first [ONLINE DIVISIONS] match.
Play and win an Online Divisions match and this trophy will pop. The Online Debutant trophy can also be done at the same time.
Promoted in ONLINE DIVISIONS

Awarded for being promoted to a higher division in [ONLINE DIVISIONS].
You just need to win 1 match in online divisions, then you can click "skip season" and you will get it automatically (only 3 points are needed to be promoted to the 11th division).
First Glory: Competition

Awarded for your first win in an [Online Competition].
Play and win an Online Competition Match.
Best of the Bunch

Awarded for being named Man of the Match in a Team Play Lobby match.
To get this trophy you will need to join a Team Play Lobby Match and become the Man of the Match. The easiest way to earn this is to find a boosting partner. That way you can create a room with a password so no randoms can enter and take it in turns to score a hat-trick as a single player. The trophy will pop after the match has ended. What I did, was to talk to random people and got lucky because one guy needed the same trophy so he first helped me out then I helped him.
myClub: First "Divisions" win

Awarded for winning your first [Divisions] match in myClub.
This is very similar to the First ONLINE DIVISIONS win trophy only this has to be done from inside the MyClub mode. Select Divisions and win the match.
myClub: Promoted in Divisions

Awarded for being promoted in myClub [Divisions].
This is very similar to the Promoted in ONLINE DIVISIONS but you will not be able to skip matches here (which is good because your team spirit will increase a lot).
myClub: 1st Divisions (SIM) win

Awarded for winning your first [Divisions (SIM)] match in myClub.
This is very similar to the First ONLINE DIVISIONS win & myClub: First Divisions win trophies. The trophy has to be done from inside MyClub and under the Divisions SIM mode. It's basically a Coach mode where you watch your team play, once you get your win the trophy will pop. As I mentioned before, the best is to have at least a +75 team spirit in order to win. Strategy is important but no as much as the spirit.
myClub: Divisions Promotion(SIM)

Awarded for being promoted in myClub [Divisions] (SIM).
You will not be able to skip matches here so. Once you win a match, don't worry if you lose because you will still get the trophy. Just sim all matches and be patient. As a result, your team spirit will increase a lot too!
Won 6 in a row in Super Star

Awarded for winning 6 VS COM matches in a row at Super Star level in myClub.
For this trophy you have to be a pro player because it's the most difficult so it doesn't matter how much advice I give you so don't worry about it. The difficulty VS COM in each category starts as: weaker, if you win 2 in a row, regular, if you win another 2, stronger and then if you win, the next difficulty appears so if you always win, you will have to play 6 matches per difficulty, from beginner to SuperStar. Once you reach SuperStar, hell will appear because of the "lovely" trophy: "Won 6 a in a row in SuperStar). The CPU will be practically unbeatable but the key there would be to have at least 95 in your team's spirit and always your keep players in excellent condition, let them rest when they're tired.

Tips: You can edit that much the strategy because in myClub mode you get default formations and managers but you can always use the same player and know more or less how they move.

Holding the ball?
Well, the A.I of the CPU in PES 2016 is higher than it was in PES 2015 (only in the highest difficulty though) so they will come to you and start putting a lot of pressure so that you make a mistake and the can steal the ball. However there is a funny method I used for my last match because I was really scared and well, I had improved a lot at passing the ball:

1) I scored the first goal.
2) Try to steal the opponent team's ball and then pass it to the goal keeper.
3) When they rush to you, pass it to a defense and then do an elevated pass to a defense on the opposite side and before the ball touches the pitch, use your head and pass it to the Goalkeeper so that he can grab it with his hands! This really works but you might make a mistake with the long passes so be careful. I only had the guts to do it because I dominated a lot, passing the ball at PES after many frustrated tries for this trophy.
