Introduction:

Nothing special here, just another PES game like every year. This one, however, is in a way harder than PES 2016; the hardest trophy has returned, requiring you to win 6 games in a row on Superstar difficulty in MyClub, so getting the pre-ordered digital edition of the game will help a lot to boost your team. Farming GP will most likely be required to create a solid team to go for the trophy. PES 2017 also introduced tasks in MyClub and all of them are very easy to do and have good rewards. Shooting with the R2 button from anywhere doesn’t work the same way anymore, but with high rated players like Messi, you are allowed to use the R2 shot. In addition to the generic PES trophies we normally get, there are also new trophies, but all of them are fun and easy to do.

Walkthrough:

Step 1 – Complete all training modes trophies.

First, you should complete the training trophies as all of these are very easy to do and if you don't know the game well this is a good opportunity to learn it.

Step 2 – Complete all the Exhibition and Versus mode trophies.

This year PES added some trophies that are miscellaneous tasks, all of these are very easy to do, just make sure that for the competition trophies you start a new competition and win the first game rather than doing them in Exhibition. You will need a second controller for a versus mode trophy, Versus (2 Players). It will also help having a second controller for most of these trophies.

Step 3 – Complete all Be A Legend trophies.

I am not going to lie, this mode will be the most boring and most time-consuming mode for the platinum. These trophies are the same, you should edit L.Messi to max stats for all of the BAL trophies and move him to different clubs depending on the trophy you want to get, more information will be available in the description of each trophy.

Step 4 – Complete all Master League trophies.

Most of these ML trophies won’t require any gameplay, just skipping the matches is good enough except for 1 trophy, A True Star. That requires you to play many matches like BAL. This time, L.Suarez will be your guy for this trophy, you must move L.Messi to another team. Other than this is it mainly choosing a team that matches the trophy you're going for and maxing out the stats. More information will be added in each trophy in the description.

Step 5 – Complete all myClub mode trophies.

Assuming you pre-ordered the digital edition of the game, you’ll have more chances of opening better players , I myself got Messi and had a pretty good team of gold ball players, the players are not the most important part, however. Team Spirit being on 99 is more important as it makes the team work together better, farming GP will be required though as not everyone will be lucky with opening good players from the start and so the best place to farm GP like every year is in COM cup competitions. Last but not least completing tasks is a new feature in myClub and you can get some pretty cool rewards such as ''tactical training'' that boosts your Team Spirit or coins to buy a good manager right away.

Just collect every other trophy in PES 2017 for this.
Comeback King

Won after coming back from 3 goals down
Very simple, put the difficulty on beginner go down 0-3 (you can do it yourself by scoring own goals), then bring it back to 4-3 to get the trophy. You can also get Final Twist at the same time; when you are losing 0-3, make it 2-3 and wait for added time, since 5 goals conceded by both teams extra time will be at least 4 minutes, so on beginner you have more than enough time to score the remaining two goals to make it 4-3, especially if you set the game on 10 minutes. You can also make sure you have the ball for almost the whole game so you can also achieve 65% possession by the end of the match for Possessive Streak. You can hold the ball while you're waiting for added time and the beginner COM wont come to get it.

Super-Sub

A substitute scored
Very simple trophy, just make a substitution in the match and score with that player, it's obviously better to replace a striker as they are more likely to score. If for some reason you still don’t understand what to do, watch the following video:
World Class

Scored in open play from 35m or more (excluding set pieces)
For this trophy go to edit and max out the stats of the player you want to score (I used Rooney from Man Red), then select the goalkeeper of a bad team and put his stats to 0, after that just shoot from distance and it should be very easy to score, if you miss try again until you do. If you still have trouble, here’s a video showing an alternate method using 2 controllers, holding to bring the keeper out of goal so there will be no-one to save the shot:
The Sniper

Scored a free kick from 30m or more
For this trophy again go to edit and max out the stats of the player you want to score (I used Rooney from Man Red), then select the goalkeeper of a bad team and put his stats to 0. This isn't as easy as the previous trophy, as the COM might not tackle you in the area you want, so it is advised to use a second controller or try online with a friend, tackle P1 with P2 in the desired area and take the free kick.

Phantom Striker

A defender scored a goal
All you have to do is score with any defender from any team, it’s very easy, just put the difficulty on beginner, pass the ball to your defender and run through and score.
Impregnable Fort

Faced 20 or more shots on target and kept a clean sheet
For this trophy I edited the Barcelona keeper to make sure that he will not concede any goals. After that its best to play with 2 controllers and have P2 shoot towards your keeper (from distance is safer). Take 20 shots on target without scoring any, after that score one goal with P1 so you will win and the trophy will pop.

Make sure to start the UEFA Champions League competition and win the first match, don’t play it on exhibition because the trophy won’t pop like that.

Make sure to start the UEFA Europa League competition and win the first match, don’t play it on exhibition because the trophy won’t pop like that.

Awarded for winning the UEFA Best Player in Europe Award in [Become a Legend]
For this trophy I edited L.Messi to max stats and picked him and Barcelona. Now you need to know that on the first season you won’t be awarded Best Player in Europe or World Player but you should be picked for the Team of the Season. You need to make sure to win every competition you're in and have the most goals and assists in every competition. I played all home games to keep track and a few more to make sure I won the competitions. In each game I scored 3 goals and made 2 assists as its more than enough if you play all the home games and its enough to be MVP with 9 rating at the end of a match as this is important to be awarded the best player. In the second season keep playing all the matches until the Best in Europe award, after you earn the award make a save and skip everything until the World Player award, for me it unlocked there but if for some reason you didn’t unlock it load back your save, play a few more games and try skipping again. Tips on how to do assists easily is by spamming the R2 button. That way your teammates will pass the ball to you and then you can pass it back at the right time and make an assist, also note that if Messi is maxed on stats the manager will put him on a different position but you can make a request to the manager to put you in your desired position, I always asked the manager to make me a CF. You can also just leave the stats that are already low alone and only max out the ones that are important for forwards, this should keep you in a good position.
Best S. American Soccer Player

Awarded for being named South American Player of the Year in [Become a Legend]
Same as Best in Europe but with the difference that you will transfer L.Messi from edit mode to the Corinthians team and pick him from there, then go through all of the above again.
Best Asian Soccer Player

Awarded for being named Footballer of the Year in Asia in [Become a Legend]
Same as Best in Europe but with the difference that you will transfer L.Messi from edit mode to the Gamba Osaka team and pick him from there, then go through all of the above again.
World Player of the Year

Awarded for being named World Player of the Year in [Become a Legend]

Won in Master League

Awarded for earning a win in [Master League]
Skipping won't unlock this trophy, so you need to actually play once and win.
To Pastures Anew

Awarded for moving teams in [Master League]
By the end of the season, many teams will want you as their manager so pick a different team to change and once the trophy pops, if you want to stay with your previous team just exit without saving.

Once per season during the year the game will tell you to pick a favourite player from your team, just do that and skip to the next day and then the trophy will pop.
A True Star

Achieved a Team Role of Legend or Bandiera
So this trophy is like playing Be A Legend but not so boring. What you need to do is play 2 seasons with Barcelona and edit all players to max and make sure Messi is transferred to PAS league because he is already a Barcelona legend and this prevents anyone else from becoming a legend. I tested it with Messi and went to the year 2022 in ML and Suarez wasn't a Legend yet, so make sure that Messi is somewhere else. After that you must not skip and play with Suarez being top scorer and having most assists in all competitions, during the second season Suarez will be awarded Best player in Europe and in the World, then in the beginning of the third season Suarez will become a Legend and the trophy will unlock. You can get the Treble European trophy as well in the first season trying to do this and win the world cup as a national manager in the second season because this is when you’ll be asked to be a national team manager. By end of the first season, your club will be number 1 as well. This will unlock most of the ML trophies, you'll just need to get the treble in the other continents.

Just complete all basic training with at least a silver rating, if you follow the buttons that the game tells you to press you won't have any trouble doing these challenges as silver rating doesn't require many points, meaning it allows for some errors.

Being in the lowest division when you start makes this easier for you, because with almost all of the teams you only need one win for promotion.

Team Play

Kicked off while taking part in a Team Play Lobby
Go to a team play lobby and once the match begins the trophy will pop. This trophy might give you trouble, you need to have NAT type 1 or 2 in order to host a lobby, otherwise if you have NAT type 3 like myself you can't host a lobby as the game doesn't let you do it. If you are having trouble with Nat type 3, do it at a friends house, try to call your internet company to change your NAT or try to use a wired connection. Best of luck to everyone out there with NAT type 3.

Awarded for winning 6 VS COM matches in a row at Super Star level in myClub
First, you start on amateur difficulty, you need to win games until you reach Superstar difficulty. Make sure you play with the same (preferably good) team all the way to increase your team spirit, by doing tasks you get tactical training items that help boost your team spirit as well. Also, note that if you lose the first match on superstar on purpose then you get to play an easier superstar difficulty 3 times instead of 2, so basically you play 3 'easy', 2 medium and 1 strong, though they are all still pretty tricky.

Here are some more tips:
- If you pre-ordered the digital version of the game you’ll have better chances of creating a good team because you can get more black balls bonuses.
- If you want you can wait until the special UEFA agents are available later in the year for the chance to get better players from there, otherwise play COM cups over and over to earn GP and open the Top agents.
- Keep track of loan players as sometimes you might find good stuff in there, I myself found Aguero and kept him as a sub for when I needed him. The most important part of your team will be your striker.
- In PES 2017 crossing the ball from the wings and scoring with a header works great, so if you have a tall striker you can score lots of goals this way; I myself had Dzeko and it was very easy to score headers with him despite his rating being only 80. Like I said before, I had Aguero on loan too so when I needed speed in the second half, Aguero was there for me destroying the COM defence.
- Managers are very important too because in myClub you can't set your own strategy and lineup. Instead, the manager you pick has already 1 for you and you can't change it, I personally chose a manager with 4-3-3 and aggressive strategy using counter attacks and long balls, 4-3-3 also was suitable for my players as I had Messi RWF, Coutinho LFW and Turan AMF.
- I had a solid defence too and with a team spirit of 99 and goalkeepers being great in PES 2017, it made it a bit easier for me. My silver ball Butland in goal saved me from many COM attacks and even a few R2 shots from the COM
- If you are having trouble holding onto victories, you can use the method I show in the following video. You must make sure you are winning before doing this because you will be spamming passes in your defence and wait for the time to end, which is why you'll need to score first:
