Cleanup Grand Slam Trophy in Persona 4: Arena Ultimax

  • Cleanup Grand Slam

Hit a home run with the bases loaded, full count and two outs in Arcade or Network Mode.

How to unlock Cleanup Grand Slam

While playing as Junpei, you'll see a special Baseball gauge (as pictured below) right next to his SP meter that works just like a baseball game.

For this trophy, you will need to hit a home run after you have your bases loaded, two strikes, three balls, and two outs with him. The number of runs do not matter while going for this trophy at all. Bases, strikes, balls, and outs are achieved by the following conditions:

    • Bases: They can be loaded in three different ways:
      • Hitting your opponent with a B normal, specials, or anything that involves his baseball bat (ending an all out attack (+) with , his Furious Action (+, or ), etc.)
      • Clean Hits (Only through Victory Cry, which is activated when you have ten runs)
      • Home Runs
    • Strikes (S): Junpei will earn a strike for every baseball bat attack that does not hit the opponent. If he earns three strikes, then he is penalized with an out.
    • Balls (B): Junpei will earn a ball for every attack his opponent will block. Getting four balls will reset that meter, but he will be rewarded with a base.
    • Outs (O): They can be earned in the follow three ways:
      • Taking damage. Junpei will only be penalized with one out whenever he's in hitstun during a combo.
      • Getting thrown or teching/evading one. He will still be punished with an out regardless if you teched/evaded the throw or not.
      • Earning three strikes

If you have your bases loaded, three balls, two strikes, and two outs, perform either one of his three supers (236236A/B, 236236C/D, or 214214C/D (while in awakening)), but you should give some distance between the opponent and the player. If done successfully, you should see a "HOMERUN!" below the combo counter.

I personally recommend boosting this trophy with a boosting partner in a player match, as Arcade mode will make earning this trophy more or less difficult. If you are looking for a partner, refer to the trophy boosting thread.
