OMNO is a wonderfully designed indie puzzle platformer by Jonas Manke and Inkyfox and published by Future Friends Games. Often compared to titles like Journey, Omno follows the standard format for its genre; platforming puzzles to solve, collectibles to find, secrets to uncover. It is the way it does so and the setting that truly sets Omno apart from other games of its ilk. As you control the oddly shaped, bulb-headed character, you'll go through 10 different, visually appealing landscapes, from forests to seas to deserts and everything in between.

Aside from its aesthetic appeal, its other strength is its platforming - and story- freedom. In other words, the story is not there in your face, if at all, if you don't want it to be but if you do, there is lore and a story there to discover. Additionally, while it is linear in terms of the order of Chapters, what you do inside those levels is up to you.

All in all, Omno is a very pleasant, even relaxing game with an interesting take on platforming and puzzles that are easy enough to solve without any help but are still fun to do.

Important: Although Chapter Select is available once you finish the game, your progress and collectibles will not carry over; selecting any Chapter will essentially act as starting over and in fact, the game even prompts you asking if you want to begin a New Game. If you missed 100%'ing any Chapter, you will have to re-collect everything in that region once more to get that Chapter's 100% trophy. Hitting Continue instead of Chapter Select won't work either, as all that will do is force you to re-watch the Epilogue and the credits before returning you to the Main Menu. Additionally, you don't have access to every Chapter so you might have to redo multiple Chapters to reach the one you need.

Throughout this game, you'll visit a myriad of widely different areas and you'll get to explore all of it to your heart's content but while the visuals differ, the concept never really changes. The end goal in each area is to collect 3 glowing Orbs to unlock the final puzzle, which then unlocks the portal to the next area. There are more Orbs as well as other collectibles and secrets to find in each Chapter of course, all of which are necessary for the Platinum.

Even with collectibles to find in each region, it's a relatively a quick Platinum, even without a guide. Each level has a Meditation Platform and when you use it, it unlocks the area map, which shows you the spot of each remaining Orb to find so you should never have a problem finding them, although Cubes and creatures do not show up on the map. You are free to explore and collect everything in whatever order you please so it's not necessary to follow this Walkthrough in the exact order listed in the trophy descriptions. The only thing we recommend is to head for the Meditation Platform first whenever you enter a new region, as it unlocks the map. In addition, not only is the Platform already on your map and thus easy to find, it's also usually found close to the entrance.

See The Ascendant trophy_gold.png for a list of notes and some tips to help you along the way.

NOTE: As there isn't any dialogue in the game, there aren't any actual names/terms in-game for the collectibles and landmarks so just for clarity's sake, we have included a list of all of the meanings of the most-used terms in this Walkthrough. See The Enlightened trophy_platinum.png for the list.

STEP ONE — Play the game and 100% all 10 Chapters

Play the game, interacting with and collecting everything you see along the way. Each Chapter has 10-14 things to find and these include: 3-5 Orbs, Cube Glyphs, discovering all creatures, filling the Energy Obelisk and meditating on the stone Platform. You can go through each level in any way or order as you please; you don't have to collect the items or solve the puzzles in any specific order but it's advised to at least find the Platform to meditate on as that unlocks the region map which shows you the locations of all the remaining collectibles to find. Otherwise, look around, explore the area and enjoy. The game is well worth it to play without a guide and its easy enough that you don't really need one, especially since it gives you the location of many of the collectibles. Just make sure that before you leave any area, you check your map and make sure it says 100%. If not, check to see if there are any glowing icons on your map. If so, that is an Orb you missed. If not, it means what you missed is either a Cube Glyph or a creature. You can check the trophy for that area for a list of everything you need to find to reach 100% completion of that Chapter as well as the locations.

The only trophies you might need to keep track of if you don't want to use Chapter Select later are the extra, hidden ones that are for doing random actions. (See Step Two for a list).

By the end of this step, you will have earned:

STEP TWO — Clean up

If you followed this guide, this step likely won't be necessary but in case you missed any of the secret trophies or any area collectibles, now is the time to clean them up via Chapter Select. Included in the list below are all of the miscellaneous trophies that are for actions as well as the earliest time you can earn them/the level to return to via Chapter Select if you missed them.

By the end of this step, you will have earned:

    - Orb 3: All the way to the far north of the area is an Orb just sitting on a ledge, no puzzle necessary.
    - Orb 4: To get this Orb, you have to surf through all 5 circular gates in the area but they have to be in order. When you go through the very first one (by the Jellyfish), it will light up and will show you where the next gate is etc. Once you've gone through all 5, it will take you to the Orb and will raise a platform so you can access it. The Orb is at the far north-eastern corner of the map, on a platform high up in the sky.

    CREATURES: [TOTAL: 5]
    - Creature 1: Scipuins: Walk straight from the entrance and you'll find a group of 3 red weasel/ferret-like animals that will surf with you (See Likeminded trophy_silver.png — you need to surf for 30 seconds with at least 1 Scipuin).

    - Cube 3: Just on the ground in the middle of the area to the north, north-east.
  • Cavulta Canyon complete

Reach 100% in Chapter 6: Cavulta Canyon by collecting all of its Orbs and Cube Glyphs, discovering all creatures, filling the Energy Obelisk, meditating on the stone Platform and completing all puzzles. Make sure you always check the region map before leaving to make sure it says 100%. Remember, you can collect everything in whatever order you please so you don't need to follow the list below in that exact order.

You'll get the Teleport (square.png) ability just before you enter this region and it will be the main skill you'll use to solve the puzzles here.

For a video guide instead, see my OMNO 100% Walkthroughs Playlist or our Video Walkthrough Supplement.

Cavulta Canyon has a total of 14 Collectibles to find:

Meditation Platform: Immediately in front of you as soon as you enter the area.
Energy Obelisk (collect enough energy from fauna and flora until you can fill the obelisk, then interact with it).

    ORBS: [TOTAL: 4]
    - Orb 1: Sticking to the right wall from the entrance, you'll come to a small alley way between the two large, high ledges. At the far end of the alleyway, at a dead end, there will be a mechanism stone on the ground to activate, which when triggered reveals a staircase. Go up the stairs and you'll reach a patch of Cacti, with one giant Cactus. Right in front of them is the Orb on a platform.
    - Orb 2: In the same area but one ledge down, there is an empty gateway and another mechanism stone near it. Activate the stone and the gateway becomes active for just a few seconds. Quickly jump over to the gate and it will shoot you into the sky. Once you're flying, there will be a moment where you'll have just a few seconds to trigger the next Teleport before you fall down. If you do it successfully, you'll jump up to a high ledge. Turn around and the Orb will be right there on the edge.
    - Orb 3: Although this Orb will be the first one you see as it's immediately to the right of the entrance, you'll have to go directly opposite it to the far left instead to activate another jump gate over there. Once you do, use it to catapult yourself up to the ledge where the Orb is. When you're there in the stone courtyard-like area, you'll see another mechanism stone. Activating it will raise several small floating stones that you need to jump on to reach the tall platform the Orb is on. This is a timed mechanism so you only have a few seconds to get across. If you fail, just start over until you get it.
    - Orb 4: All the way towards the end of the area, you'll find another mechanism stone. Activating it will turn on the air gust tile immediately to your left. Use it to jump up in the air high enough that you'll be able to trigger your Teleport to the platform way out in the distance ahead of you. When you land, turn around to face the area and go to your right, where you'll see a series of floating platforms to jump on to reach this Orb.

    CREATURES: [TOTAL: 5]
    - Creature 1: Caloobs: These are weird creatures that look almost like roasted, headless chickens. As soon as you enter the area, directly in front of you will be both the Meditation Platform and a group of 3 Caloobs. Interact with all 3 right away for Herder trophy_silver.png.
    - Creature 2: Strubs: These look almost like radishes or the pokemon Oddish. You can find one immediately after the Meditation Platform, right as you enter the area.
    - Creature 3: Nugions: These are weird worm-ish creatures that are in the same place, right in front of the Meditation Platform and Strubs, by the Energy Obelisk. When you approach them, a prompt will appear to press r1.png.
    - Creature 4: Calcutus: Both the Calcutus (small Cactus) and the Caclutulus (giant Cactus) can be found in the same patch, on the eastern wall, right by Orbs 1 and 2. You'll need to trigger a mechanism down on the ground to access the area, as it reveals a staircase. Walk up the stairs and the Cacti are right there. While you can find the small Calcutuses further in, in another spot, this is the only giant Calcutulus in the game so it's just easier to get two birds with one stone.
    - Creature 5: Caclutulus: See Calcutus.

    CUBES: [TOTAL: 3]
    - Cube 1: Immediately to the left of the Meditation Platform, right as you enter the area.

    - Orb 1: To the left of the entrance is a bunch of vines with thorns. Walk up the large thorny vine to reach the activation stone, which will uncoil the thorny vines just below it that surround this Orb.
    - Orb 2: Inside a set of bones/animal skeleton in the middle of the area.
    - Orb 3: Further in you'll see a stone archway. The mechanism stone is located before the archway, activate it to be able to take a light to a stone courtyard right in front of the archway, allowing you to jump over to this Orb on a high platform.
    - Orb 4: At the very top-right corner of the map is the Orb high up. On the opposite end is the mechanism stone you'll need to activate, which will activate a series of teleportation lights you'll need to chain quickly to reach the final one before the time ends.

Meditation Platform: Straight ahead of you upon entering the area.
Energy Obelisk (collect enough energy from fauna and flora until you can fill the obelisk, then interact with it).

    ORBS: [TOTAL: 4]
    - Orb 1: To the north-east of the Meditation Platform, this Orb is sitting atop a tall but thin mountain. Go behind the mountain to activate the mechanism stone, turning on the air vents. Boost up using Dash (r1.png) and your new Float skill (r2.png) to turn around the mountain and reach the Orb.
    - Orb 2: Activate the mechanism stone, turning on a teleport. Teleport to it then use Float to reach the Orb.
    - Orb 3: Right in front of you after Orb 2, you'll see this one sitting on a high platform. Walk up the side of the mountain to jump and Float across.
    - Orb 4: This one is way off in the distance by itself. To reach it, you'll first need to find the Activation Stone, which is in the center-right at the very end. Use the new teleport, then climb up the broken wall on the side until you're as high as possible, then Float (r2.png) down to the Orb across the chasm.

    CREATURES: [TOTAL: 3]
    - Creature 1: Astendeons
: As soon as you enter the area and the title comes up, immediately to your left are a couple of red and purple Astendeons, which look like reeds with white energy Cubes on them. Hit r1.png to bump them in the air. Face the rock and do so repeatedly, keeping it in the air for 10 seconds and you'll quickly get Ground is lava trophy_silver.png (see the trophy for a video guide).
    - Creature 2: Petouris: These are flying squirrels and you can find one immediately in front of you when you enter, it's sitting on a small stone. Interact with it and it'll glide away.
    - Creature 3: Bloonties: A fat oddish/poring/blob-like creature that wears a blue cap and you can find a bunch of them just a short way ahead of the Meditation Platform, just by Cube 2.

    CUBES: [TOTAL: 3]
    - Cube 1: Straight ahead from the entrance, just sitting on a stone by a Petouris. You can't miss it on your way to the Mediation Platform.
    - Cube 2: A few feet straight ahead from the Meditation Platform, by a group of Bloonties.
    - Cube 3: After everything else is done, head to the final puzzle obelisk. Immediately to the left of it, this Cube is up on a ledge. Climb around the mountain to reach a higher ledge and jump off and float down to the Cube.
  • Pulyang Heights complete

Reach 100% in Chapter 9: Pulyang Heights by collecting all of its Orbs and Cube Glyphs, discovering all creatures, filling the Energy Obelisk, meditating on the stone Platform and completing all puzzles. Make sure you always check the region map before leaving to make sure it says 100%. Remember, you can collect everything in whatever order you please so you don't need to follow the list below in that exact order.

Pulyang Heights has a total of 10 Collectibles to find:

    Meditation Platform
Energy Obelisk (collect enough energy from fauna and flora until you can fill the obelisk, then interact with it).

    ORBS: [TOTAL: 3]
    - Orb 1: Across from the Energy Obelisk, this Orb is on top of a high ledge. Right under it is a strange stone formation with a Lumotaris. Climb up the rock and then use the Lumotaris to boost up high enough to float to that high ledge, then just walk forward to the Orb.
    - Orb 2: If you open your map (triangle.png), this is the far Orb by its self. Go to the far right edge of the map and across the cliff is a floating platform with a teleport. Jump over, activate the mechanism and chain teleport then float through the gate, then teleport, float etc. until you've done all 3 gates and you reach the Orb.
    - Orb 3: On the opposite far edge of the map from Orb 2, the far left edge, find the Checkpoint stone on a ledge and look down. There will be a line of Lumotarises that you'll need to chain jumping-floating to reach the floating platform the Orb is on.

    CREATURES: [TOTAL: 2]
    - Creature 1: Bluvaris: As soon as you walk in the area, immediately to your right are a couple pink balloons. Jump at one to discover them.
    - Creature 2: Lumotaris: In the same area as the Bluvaris, you'll see a group of small flying creatures circling a bright light. Jump at one to discover them, then they'll boost you into the air and you'll need to use them to reach some collectibles in the area.

    CUBES: [TOTAL: 3]
    - Cube 1: Right as you walk in, a few feet in front of you is this Cube, just on the ground, easy to grab.
    - Cube 2: Just behind the Meditation Platform on the bottom left of the map, this Cube is up on a tall mountain ledge. To reach it, you need to activate the mechanism stone hidden in the brush below, turning on the air vent. Boost up then dash into the Lumotaris creature to boost up even higher, then float back to the Cube.
    - Cube 3: The very far, right-hand corner of the map, the Cube is sitting on a stone surrounded by trees. It's just to the right of a small staircase that leads to nowhere/off the edge.
  • Fluamao Cliffs complete

Reach 100% in Chapter 10: Fluamao Cliffs by collecting all of its Orbs and Glyphs, discovering all creatures, filling the Energy Obelisk, meditating on the stone Platform and completing all puzzles. Make sure you always check the region map before leaving to make sure it says 100%. Remember, you can collect everything in whatever order you please so you don't need to follow the list below in that exact order.

For a video guide instead, see my OMNO 100% Walkthroughs Playlist or our Video Walkthrough Supplement.

Fluamao Cliffs has a total of 12 Collectibles to find:

Meditation Platform: Directly to the right of the entrance.
Energy Obelisk (collect enough energy from fauna and flora until you can fill the obelisk, then interact with it).

    ORBS: [TOTAL: 4]
    - Orb 1: Straight ahead of you from the entrance, this Orb is on a high platform. To reach it, activate the mechanism on the ledge below the very high mountain/ledge nearby (by the statue that resembles a man with arms up), which opens a very large air vent in the ground. Use the air and the nearby Lumotaris to reach the ledge, then float over.
    - Orb 2: At the far top-right corner of the map, use the air vent and platforms to Dash over to reach the Orb.
    - Orb 3: At the top-left corner of the map, this Orb is on top of a tall platform. To reach it, jump off the side of the cliff into the group of Sagryphs and Float (r2.png) through all 4 Gates to unlock a teleport that takes you to the Orb.
    - Orb 4: In the top left corner of the map, there is an empty Gate that faces off the edge. Activate the mechanism stone at the base of it and jump over. You'll then need to move the large block in the middle of that courtyard to the left, then jump from platform to platform around the circle but always using cover; staying out in the beam of light for approx. 5 seconds will make you restart. Complete the platforming puzzle and jump over to reach the Orb.

    CREATURES: [TOTAL: 3]
    - Creature 1: Podrakors: These are the large blue flying creatures that circle the area.
    - Creature 2: Tripulids: These are the massive pink three-legged creatures that walk around the area.
    - Creature 3: Sagryphs: In the west-side of the area, off of the edge you'll see a large group of blue-and-white flying creatures that are circling a large, floating platform. Just walking to the edge of the area and looking at them is enough to trigger the discovery.

    CUBES: [TOTAL: 3]
    - Cube 1: To the right of the final Obelisk, in the far right corner of the area, this Cube is on a platform. Jump on the nearby rocks to reach it.
    - Cube 2: Right in front of the Energy Obelisk, walk to the edge of the ledge.
    - Cube 3: Across from the large, open air vent, on the far left wall of the area, this Cube is up on a ledge. To reach it, backtrack a little and then hug the left wall, using small, slim ledges in the wall to reach a Lumotaris that will give you enough of a boost to then glide over to the Cube.
  • Finish Omno with all areas completed

Reach 100% in all 10 areas by collecting all Orbs, collectibles and secrets and by completing all puzzles within. Once you've done that, after you leave Chapter 10: Fluamao Cliffs, you'll have to complete a Dashing/Floating-through-Gates puzzle and climb up a mountain to a large stone monument, where you will watch the end of the story. Note that there is 1 final Cube Glyph that you'll easily see on the side of the path as you walk up to the monument building.

For a video guide instead, see my OMNO 100% Walkthroughs Playlist or our Video Walkthrough Supplement.

When that's done, if you've 100%'d every previous Chapter, the trophy will pop as soon as you activate the mechanism stone to open the monument doors. If the trophy didn't pop there, it means you've missed at least 1 collectible somewhere, which you can go back and collect via Chapter Select.

    1. Personally, I prefer to go for the Mediation Platform as soon as I enter a new region, as it opens the map for you, showing you where the remaining Orbs are, plus they're usually quite close to the entrance and their location is already marked on the map as soon as you enter so they're easy to find quickly.

    2. If you're stuck on a platforming puzzle, look for your flying pet as it will usually be hovering on the next step. Sometimes this is enough to show you where to go.

    3. As soon as you have enough energy, I recommend using the Energy Obelisk as soon as possible, as it's easy to lose energy by falling, which you'll likely do plenty of, forcing you to go collect more.

    4. Even though simply approaching the creatures is usually enough to record them, it's still best to always interact with them with square.png just in case. Plus, it gives you energy. Make sure you see the notification that you discovered the creature before moving on.

    5. Remember, both the creatures and the Cube Glyphs do not show up on the region map so you'll need to keep track of them but they are included in the completion %. If you're not at 100% but there are no more lit icons on the map, that means you're probably missing one of these. You can always check your creatures list to see which ones you've discovered up to that point by pressing circle.png at any time. Unfortunately there is no way to check how many and/or which Cubes you've found.

    6. There are a number of creatures you discover in between regions that aren't counted towards that region's 100% but they are always story-related and guaranteed, unmissable discoveries so you don't need to worry about those for the trophies.
  • Ride the First Legendary Animal

    Story-related and cannot be missed.

You'll get this at the very beginning of the game, before you reach Chapter 1. During the Prologue, you'll come across a giant turtle that will carry you across an ocean to reach Chapter 1: Auqui Pit. Once the ride ends and you're back in control of your character, step off the Turtle and the trophy will pop.
  • Ride the Second Legendary Animal

    Story-related and cannot be missed.

You'll get this when you finish Chapter 2: Agneya Plateau, as you go on your way to the next Chapter, you'll ride a massive purple creature. Once the ride ends and you're back in control of your character, step off the Jellyfish and the trophy will pop.
  • Ride the Third Legendary Animal

    Story-related and cannot be missed.

You'll get this when you finish Chapter 4: Sag'Ya Valley, as you go on your way to the next Chapter, you'll ride a large Jellyfish called a Meedjull. Once the ride ends and you're back in control of your character, step off the Jellyfish and the trophy will pop.
  • Ride the Fourth Legendary Animal

    Story-related and cannot be missed.

You'll get this trophy when you finish Chapter 6: Cavulta Canyon, as you go on your way to the next Chapter, you'll ride a large red bird called a Pulvukas. Once the ride ends and you're back in control of your character, step off the bird and the trophy will pop.
  • Ride the Fifth Legendary Animal

    Story-related and cannot be missed.

You'll get this trophy when you finish Chapter 9: Pulyang Heights, as you go on your way to the next Chapter, you'll ride a large blue, spotted creature that looks like a cross between a deer and a dragon called a Dokaloor. Once the ride ends and you're back in control of your character, step off the creature and the trophy will pop.
  • Walk through water for 20 seconds

As the description says, simply walk through any body of water for at least 20 seconds. The only place you can do so is in the very first region, Auqui Pit (see Pit Master trophy_bronze.png for more info). Just don't go into any deep section as you'll "die" (nothing happens, you'll just respawn at the checkpoint but you won't lose any progress). If you missed this before you left the area, use Chapter Select to return.
  • Stomp a Lapicrab 5 times

Lapicrabs are creatures that are found in many Chapters and the earliest you'll find them is in Chapter 1: Auqui Pit (see Pit Master trophy_bronze.png for more info). If you miss them there, they're also in Chapter 2: Agneya Plateau and several other Chapters. They're small-medium stones that walk like crabs and you can interact with them to get energy, just like from all other creatures in the game. To get this trophy, simply walk up to whatever Lapicrab you see and stomp them (press square.png to interact with them) 5 times.

Note: It's not confirmed whether you can do all 5 on one Lapicrab or if you need 5 different Lapicrabs so if you don't get it right away, don't worry, just keep stomping any Lapicrab you see and you'll eventually get this trophy.
  • Surf with Scipuins for 30 seconds

Scipuins are only found in Chapter 5: Lake Ober (see Lake Master trophy_silver.png for more information). As soon as you enter the level and the region title appears overhead, directly in front of you will be a group of 3 Scipuins. These are creatures that greatly resemble red weasels or ferrets. Approach them and use Surf (l2.png) by them and they will join you. Surf around for 30 seconds and the trophy will pop. Your best bet is to just surf in circles, that way you won't accidentally go too far ahead of them and preemptively break the Surf timer.
  • Gather 3 Caloobs around you at once

The earliest you can do this is in Chapter 6: Cavulta Canyon (see Canyon Master trophy_silver.png for more information), although the Caloobs will also appear in another Chapter later on. Starting from the entrance to the region, a little ways ahead of you and directly to the right will be a group of 3 Caloobs. These are small creatures that somewhat resemble roasted headless chickens. Simply interact with all 3 Caloobs in a row quickly and you'll get this trophy.
  • Keep an Astendeon airborne for 10 seconds

The earliest you can do this is in Chapter 8: Yeccaph Mesa (see Mesa Master trophy_gold.png for more information) but if you missed it, Astendeons can also be found in both Chapters 9 and 10 as well. Astendeons are small red, purple and/or green plants that spin in the air when Dashed (r1.png) on. You'll need to use your Dashes to keep one in the air for 10 seconds without it ever touching the ground.

Easy cheese method: If you're having trouble with it or just want to get it out of the way quickly, there is a way to easily cheese this trophy. Find an Astendeon that is right near a rock. Facing the rock, trigger it using your Dash and because of the rock, you won't move forward so you can just continually spam R1 Dashes until the trophy pops. There are two directly in front of a rock as soon as you enter Chapter 8, immediately to your left. See my video below to see where and how to cheese it:
