Introduction:

My Brother Rabbit is what happens when Artifex Mundi takes a stab at making a more traditional adventure game instead of a hidden object adventure game – namely, the entire game is the hidden object puzzle. It's not bad, but the story it's trying to tell doesn't entirely succeed – though not for lack of trying. The art style is nice and music's pretty great, though - same composer behind Kholat and Layers of Fear.

You're looking at a one playthrough platinum. Technically there are trophies you can miss, but once you've finished the game you'll unlock chapter select, so you can go back and try again. None of the trophies span from chapter to chapter, so feel free to play through blind if you want and worry about trophy cleanup later.

However, take note that the game has absolutely awful autosaving. If you're not going to do this in one sitting, make sure you quit the game by pressing Options, then Quit Game, to trigger an autosave where you actually are, instead of just quitting directly to XMB.

Trophy Walkthrough – by me!

Walkthrough:

Note that while nothing is technically missable, I've still marked non-story-related trophies here as missible to help you keep track.

Step 1: Play Chapter 1

Chapter 1 takes place in the garden. Your ultimate goal is to get Rabbit and the girl soaring into the sky. Watch out for the missable trophies if you're going for one playthrough – specifically the one-chance Sprinkler.

By the end of this step, you will have unlocked (in order):

A Friend in Need
Fever Stop
Quack Quack (missable)
Pumped Out (missable)
Color Separator
Sprinkler (missable)
Fly Away

Step 2: Play Chapter 2

Chapter 2 takes place in and around the doctor's office. Your ultimate goal is to get Rabbit and the girl onto the boat. Watch out for the missable trophies if you're going for one playthrough – specifically the one-chance Ice Sculptor.

By the end of this step, you will have earned (in order):

Freedom
Curiosity (missable)
Itsy-Bitsy Spider
Ice Sculptor (missable)
Fingers Crossed
Disappointment

Step 3: Play Chapter 3

Chapter 3 takes place at and around the waterfall/river. Your ultimate goal is to build a robot moose. Watch out for the missable trophies if you're going for one playthrough – specifically the one-chance Hand in Hand.

By the end of this step, you will have earned (in order):

Bring It Back!
Hand in Hand (missable)
Beanstalk Ladder
Startler (missable)
Programmer's Brain
Just Moo It!

Step 4: Play Chapter 4

Chapter 4 takes place in the middle of the sea. Your ultimate goal is to build a flying bicycle. Watch out for the missable trophies if you're going for one playthrough.

By the end of this step, you will have earned (in order):

Flying Machine
Befriend a Turtle
Shell Inspector (missable)
Bring It Up!
Pearl Collector
Wind Creator

Step 5: Play Chapter 5

The final chapter takes place in a weird surreal area. Watch out for the missable trophies if you're gone for one playthrough – especially the one-shot Where Are They Going?. That one in particular has quick timing, so read up on it before starting the paper airplane puzzle.

By the end of this step, you will have earned (in order):

Jolly Yamyams (missable)
Where Are They Going? (missable)
Bubble Passenger
Four Wheels
Sickness is Gone

And finally... Super Explorer ! Congratulations!

31 trophies ( 12  13  10  )

  • Unlock all the Trophies.

    Well done!

  • Leave the Rabbit Hole.

    Story-related and cannot be missed.

You will unlock this in Chapter 1 when you rebuild the ladder in Rabbit's house and exit to the surface.

  • Leave this defiled place.

    Story-related and cannot be missed.

You will unlock this when you finish Chapter 1 by turning the red valve. Make sure you do all the progress needed for Sprinkler BEFORE turning the red valve.

  • Pump all the objects.

    Chapter 1

In the purple house is a bike pump. Press the arrows to move the pump nozzle to the bottom-most spot and then press down on the bike pump to blow an item out. Move the pump nozzle to the next spot up and repeat the process. This will unlock when you blow the item out of the top nozzle spot – the only spot you actually need to access to finish the story.

  • Use all the colors.

    Chapter 1

Near the end of Chapter 1, you will need to turn on a specific color valve to turn on the water and send the balloons, Rabbit, and the girl into the sky. To unlock this trophy, make sure you turn all the valves EXCEPT THE RED ONE. Once you're sure you've turned the other valves except for the red one, turn the red one to unlock this alongside Fly Away.

  • Make all the rubber ducks quack.

    Chapter 1

There are four yellow rubber duckies spread across the garden screens. Click on them once or twice to make them quack. The trophy will unlock when you click on the fourth duck.

Outside Rabbit's House – in the grass next to the tree house/above the right arrow
Snail House – right of Snail House, in the back stone wall
Purple House (outside) – in the water, under the pipe
Purple House (inside) – in an alcove by the cupboard on the left

  • Find all the spiders.

    Story-related and cannot be missed.

You will unlock this when you gather all the spiders needed to open the hatch located in the doctor's office in Chapter 2.

  • Uncork all of the test tubes on the tree.

    Chapter 2

Once you've freed Rabbit from the tree he's stuck in at the very beginning of the chapter, you will have access to all of the test tubes needed for this trophy. Four of the test tubes have corks in them – just click on the corks to open the test tubes and unlock this trophy. You need to uncork a couple of them for the story anyway.

  • Sculpt an ice swan.

    Chapter 2

Once you can access the freezer in the doctor's office, you'll see a file on the bottom shelf, next to a sleeping penguin. Use this file on the block of ice next to where you found it and you'll unlock this trophy. You need to do this before using the file on the block of ice with the power cord in it.

  • Lower the big baobab.

    Story-related and cannot be missed.

You will unlock this when you find all the flippers in Chapter 3 and put them on the red wheel.

  • Solve the tangram puzzle.

    Story-related and cannot be missed.

You will unlock this when you solve the tangram door puzzle in Chapter 3.

  • Startle all of the signal birds.

    Chapter 3

Signal birds are super obvious, and blink blue and red. Click on them to startle them and make them fly away. There are 11 in total. One of them has a needed item attached to it (a wind-up key) and cannot be startled the first time you come across it – you need to wait until you're tasked to find the wind-up keys to startle that one.

There are 3 at the Roots House (the starting screen), 1 on the screen where the Wheel House will be (Bring It Back!) – make sure you get that bird before you unlock the aforementioned trophy – 2 on the Wheel House screen once you've lowered the house, 3 at the Tracks House, and 2 on the roof of the Wheel House (this is where that wind-up key signal bird is). You will automatically startle that bird when you get the key.

  • Try all of the robo-moose hands.

    Chapter 3

In the Tracks House cellar, you will build a small robotic moose. Also in this cellar you can axe down some wooden boards to access three robot arms. Ultimately you need to put the sawblade arm on the moose, but before you do that, put the feather arm and the scissors arm on the robot moose.

Once you've put an arm on the moose, click the arrow on its chest to send it outside and attempt to cut down the tree. When it fails to do so, click the arrow to send it back inside so you can swap out its arm. Do this process with the feather arm and the scissors arm first, because you can't do this once you've done it with the sawblade arm (the moose won't work anymore).

  • Solve the 4-window puzzle.

    Story-related and cannot be missed.

You will unlock this when you solve the puzzle outside the Observatory in Chapter 4.

  • Find all the turtles.

    Story-related and cannot be missed.

You will unlock this when you find all three turtles in Chapter 4.

  • Open all the clam shells.

    Chapter 4

While technically missable, it's quite unlikely you will miss this trophy. There are four black clam shells in this chapter that need to be opened for this trophy. Three of them you will be required to open to progress through the story, and the optional one (it's empty) is right next to one of the aforementioned three clams, on the Balcony (the screen just above the Observatory, where you make the picture of the fish skeleton).

  • Collect all the pearls.

    Story-related and cannot be missed.

You will unlock this near the end of Chapter 4, after you gather the required ten pearls.

  • Put the wheels on the cart.

    Story-related and cannot be missed.

You will unlock this when you place all four wheels on the cart in Chapter 5.

  • Finish the game.

    Story-related and cannot be missed.

You will unlock this during the ending cutscenes.

  • Follow them to see where they flew.

    Chapter 5

You will be on a screen with a giant melting clock in the background and a slot with a triangle shape in it. On this screen is a shovel you can use to dig up the buried treasure under the X, which will give you access to a paper airplane. At this point I HIGHLY recommend you quit the game to trigger the game's autosave, because this is somewhat tight timing (or just do it in chapter select).

When you solve the paper airplane puzzle (put the paper airplane in the triangle slot) the three puffs will fly across the screen on the airplane. Quickly press D-Pad Right to change screens – you will see them fly across this new screen and unlock this trophy.

  • Interact with all the yamyams.

    Chapter 5

Yamyams are tiny puffball things. On the screen with the giant melting clock, you will see four of them – two red and two yellow. They're not really hidden. Just click on all four of them to unlock this trophy.

Secret trophies

  • Bring the fever down.

    Story-related and cannot be missed.

You will unlock this in Chapter 1 when you use the ice cream on the hot area at Snail House.

  • Fix the rainbow divider.

    Story-related and cannot be missed.

You will unlock this when you solve the puzzle inside Snail House.

  • Free the Rabbit.

    Story-related and cannot be missed.

You will unlock this when you gather enough beetles to saw through Rabbit's vines at the beginning of Chapter 2.

  • Give the test results to the Doctor.

    Story-related and cannot be missed.

You will unlock this when you fix the x-ray machine and results machine, solve the x-ray puzzles, pick up the results and give them to the doctor.

  • Find the cure somewhere else.

    Story-related and cannot be missed.

You will unlock this at the end of Chapter 2.

  • The giant robo-moose is ready.

    Story-related and cannot be missed.

You will unlock this at the end of Chapter 3.

  • Grow the ladder from the beans.

    Story-related and cannot be missed.

You will unlock this in Chapter 3 when you gather enough beans, fix the faucet at Wheel House, and water the beans.

  • Move the bike to the top.

    Story-related and cannot be missed.

You will unlock this in Chapter 4, when you put the flying bike together.

  • Fly to the rescue.

    Story-related and cannot be missed.

You will unlock this at the end of Chapter 4.

  • Use the bubble to move heroes up.

    Story-related and cannot be missed.

You will unlock this in Chapter 5 when you find enough soap to give to Rabbit and play a few rounds of Simon.
