MXGP3 is the official Motocross video game developed by Milestone S.r.l. Here you can experience the adrenaline of Motocross either in career mode, online, or quickplay races.

The trophies for this game are on the easy side and it won’t take much effort from those who aren’t familiar with the game series or sport to obtain the . Luckily for us, there are zero online trophies so everything can be unlocked offline. Most trophies come from winning races in career mode, with one relating to winning a race using Pro Physics.

Note: Please ensure that update 1.04 is downloaded and installed before starting the career mode. This has reportedly solved a few issues regarding career.

Step One: Complete Career Mode - 2 Seasons (MGXP2 and MGXP) + Win at All Locations

Firstly, you’re going to want to complete your career mode. After the first race, you will be able to edit your race settings under Race Options. Go here and adjust as you see fit, you may wish to change the race sessions to Qualifying and Races so you can get a better position on the starting line. Winning races is important not only for trophies but leaderboard position and credit outcome.

Don't go wild spending the credits you earn on customising your bike or rider with pointless items, you will need at least 70,000 credits saved to purchase one bike from each manufacturer. By all means, upgrade your bike to keep you ahead but don't buy worthless items.

During this step you should earn:

Desert marauder
The golden temple
The Flying Dutchman
Tango at Neuquen
El Mariachi
King of Kegums
Teutonic Master
Where eagles dare
Spanish royalty
Mind-blowing
Tea time
Battle of the titans
Conquering Loket
The swamp forest
The lion is free
In the land of the windmills
The whole package
Victory in the Old West
Undisputed champion
Winning alliance
Rookie rider
Expert rider
Professional rider
A natural talent
Undisputed champion

Step Two: Win a Race Using Pro Physics

You will want to complete this outside of the career mode unless you know what you’re doing. Simply go to Single Player > Grand Prix and then select the track you desire. Go into Race Options and make sure you change the Physics to Pro before starting the race. It's really not that hard but if you find yourself struggling you can find extra help in the trophy guide below.

During this step you will earn:

You're too pro

Step Three: Win the Monster Energy FIM MXoN with France

This race consists of 3 races set at 3 laps each. Choose France as your nation as this will unlock the second trophy obtainable in this game mode at the same time.

During this step you will earn:

Green fire
The cock crows again

Step Four: Buy a Bike from Each Manufacturer + Clean-up Any Remaining Trophies

In this last step you want to clean up any missing trophies you may have, these may or may not include the following below (depending on if you completed these during Step One, which you may have):

My treasures
Such finesse!
Get back up
Holeshot!
Déjà vu
Perfect balance
No cheats!
Eat my dust!
I'm unstoppable!

Congratulations, you are now an MGXP3 pro!

You only have to win one of the two races that are held on each course. However, it is advised that you go for the win in each of the second races per track for other trophies and credits. If you don't manage to win at a course in the first season, you will have two more attempts in the second season. If you are missing any of the 'Win a race at x' trophies after the second season, you will have to start another season and play until you reach the course you require.

  • Win a race without taking a fall in any game mode

You can fall a multitude of ways: collision with AI, collision with barriers or track obstacles, hitting the ground incorrectly after a jump, sliding, etc.

You must win a race without coming off your bike. If you happen to come off your bike you can use the rewind function () to change your mistake(s).

  • Win a race without using the Rewind in any Single Player game mode

To initiate a rewind, you must press . To unlock this trophy, you must go an entire race without pressing it. If you mess up, you will have to restart the race completely.

  • Win a race with Pro Physics in any game mode

You can alter the settings by going into the Race Options at any time before a race in the career or you can play a single player grand prix of your choosing.

There is a glitch when racing in Matterley Basin (GB) which makes winning easier. Start your race as normal and then just before the first corner restart the race, don't waste too much time. Once the race begins a second time all the riders should start making a sharp turn to the left instead of going straight on, they will continue to do so for the remainder of the race and keep respawning. Easy win.

  • Win a race with your Custom Team in any game mode

When you start your career, you will be asked to create a custom team name. After winning you first race under this team you will unlock this trophy.

  • Get 10 Holeshots in any game mode

A Holeshot is achieved the first rider passes a set part of the track at the beginning of a race. A notification will pop in the lower left of the screen to notify you which rider has gained the Holeshot. Luckily for us, there is an easy way to achieve 10 Holeshots with little effort.

"Monsterdadhelp tip for the holeshot works perfectly. Don't let your front wheel get up in the air though. When you got the holeshot for the first time drive a little further giving the game the opportunity to save/register the holeshot and just rewind and rinse and repeat for the eat my dust trophy."- GMV-EHV

If you’re struggling to achieve your first Holeshot then I suggest qualifying first on the Mantova (Italy) track and going from there. Below is what a Holeshot marker looks like.

  • Win a Monster Energy FIM MXoN with any of the available nations

See The rooster crows again for extra information.

  • Win a Monster Energy FIM MXoN with France

To unlock this trophy, you must win a Monster Energy FIM MXoN. You may want to combine this trophy with the Green fire which is unlocked for winning with any available nation.

To get to this event you must navigate to Single Player > Monster Energy FIM MXoN. Select France as your nation and change the race options as you require. There are 3 races in this mode each at a 3-lap length. Place first to ensure you win, but I did get the win with 2 x 1st place and 1 x 2nd place.

  • Cover a total of 50 km (31 miles) with any bike

See Professional rider for more information.

  • Cover a total of 150 km (93 miles) with any bike

See Professional rider for more information.

  • Cover a total of 300 km (186 miles) with any bike

The miles ridden accumulates across all bikes you use. You can check your distance covered by going to Extras > Statistics.

I personally unlocked this during the second race of my second season (MXGP).

  • Purchase at least one custom bike from each manufacturer

There is a total of 7 manufacturers in the game: Honda, Husqvarna, Kawasaki, KTM, Suzuki, TM Racing and Yamaha. The price of a bike from each of these is 10,000 credits, so you must earn at least 60,000 credits to buy one from each (as you start off with one bike).

You earn credits by completing races and finishing in higher positions. The better you do in career mode - the more credits you will earn. Adjusting the race options to make the game slightly harder in different aspects (AI difficulty, physics, etc) will also give you bonus credits.

  • Sign a contract with an Official Team of the MXGP class in Career mode

At certain points during your career you will be able to pick other teams - either officially created or stay with your current. Check the official teams who wish to sign you and see if any are in the MXGP. If they are - pick one.

  • Win 50 Grand Prix in any game mode

By the time you've finished your career mode related trophies you will have already won more than a few (2 x 18 if you're good). To finish out any additional races you need go to Single Player > Grand Prix and finish them on a track of your choosing. In this mode, you only need to win the one race (instead of the two in career mode).

There is a glitch for You're too pro which makes winning easier.

  • Become world champion in the MXGP class in Career mode

You will start off in the MX2 class and won't get the opportunity to move up to the MXGP class until you're at least halfway through your first season and have a good winning record. You can switch at any time you like so there's no need to do a full season. Once I had a comfortable lead, I worked out I was able to completely skip the last 3-4 races of the season whilst still retaining my lead. Credit to gudger666 for the following:

It should be a partial MX2 season, you will get an offer about half way through. You need to be careful when selecting an offer because you can only select 1 option and once selected there is no are you sure and no going back, it's just instant. If you do mess up don't retire until a next offer because teams won't be interested in you anymore. When you get an offer from an MX1 team you can't win the season, you can skip a few races to end the current season, but if you skip more than 4-5 in one go you will be fired from that team. If your team performance is high, then you will get an offer from a lower MX1 team when fired from the previous one, meaning you can just skip the rest of the season. Team performance doesn't make a difference as you can just buy your own bike. Some searching says the KTM is the best bike.

One more thing to note, if you want to use your own bike you will need to go back to your own team, after race 5-6 you will get the offer to change but be warned, it will ask you to select a sponsor so make sure to choose a MXGP sponsor and not a MX2 sponsor.
