Welcome to the fun fast pace racing of MX Dirt Bikes! This game is a big improvement over MXGP from last year (2015). If you like racing games, this is a cross between WRC, MotoGP, and MXGP, so be prepared to have some fun.
This year's MXGP removes the Fan Trophy and only has the “Real World Events” from MotoGP, but these events do not pose much of a challenge and should be done before you attempt the career mode (Why outlined later). There will also be some new features in Career Mode and this feature allows you to upgrade your motorcycle using credits and these upgrades allow you to outrun everyone else.
Walkthrough:
Before starting the game, make sure that you set rewinds to the max amount (9) and the AI to easy. These settings make the game very easy. Also if you do this in the order outlined below you will have plenty of credits to upgrade your bike when you get to “Career Mode”.
To set the rewinds and difficulty you do this after you choose the game mode, not before.
Step #1 – Play the “Real World events”
Play the real world events, If you make a mistake, restart them or use the rewind. Most of them are only 1 to 2 Laps, I only remember one being a full 3 lap race.
This step will earn you:
21k credits if you will all of the events
Official victory
Show what you’re made of
Made in Kobe
Made in Mattighofen
Made in Husqvarna
Made in Iwata
Made in Hamamatsu
Nothing is impossible
Step #2 – Play Single Player, Monster Energy FIM MXON
For this one, chose the France team and go out and win the 3 races. Just make sure that you choose the French team rider each race. Also when you are setting this up Choose the France track as well.
~5k Credits
Made in Tokyo – If you Win on a Honda
National pride
La Marseillaise
Step #3 – Play Online
Here you do not have to win any races, you just have to finish them. You will want to finish them as you will earn more credits for it. Also if you have a boosting partner this is a good place to go for your win with Pro Physics as you most likely will be able to control the bike pretty well by now.
Setup a championship in multiplayer ---> Stadium Series Championship, No AI
Choose a bike from TM and Honda for the races you will win to earn the last 2 manufacture trophies
This will earn you:
~5k credits
MXGP2 Champion!
One championship, one world
Holeshot! – if Boosting
I’m your quarterback if you win
Touchdown! – if you win
Rough diamond – if you win
500 carats – if you win
Challenge accepted – If you win with pro physics
Made in Pesaro – If you win on a TM
Step #4 – Career Mode
Last but not least, you will now have ~32k credits to spend on bikes/upgrades! Choose a custom team here, where you only get a sponsor. This will force you to use a specific bike. Do not change teams/sponsors until you move from MX2 to MXGP as you will keep that bike.
Under Customize ---> Bikes, find the bike with the green checkmark then….
Upgrade your exhaust for more speed, the tires and rims for more control, and last the rotors for braking.
Now go out and have fun moving through career mode. You can do this in the 2 race weekend without qualifying to save you some time. For each of the win trophies, you do NOT need to win both legs, just one, so you have 2 chances each season.
Keep in mind, you race a 4 event tryout before you start your seasons. You will start season 1 in MX2 and promote to MXGP during that season. Season 2 will start with you in MXGP and you will have to run the entire season there. If you win all the events, you should win the Championship at the end of the 16th event.
Warning - DO NOT CHANGE TEAMS other than to move from MX2 to MXGP (There are mixed reports of this causing issues, so save yourself any problems. Also I do not recommend you ship any races as that counts as coming in last place.
Here you will earn:

Step #5 – Mop Up
You may have not won with the Honda or TM in Online or maybe missed the holeshot or one of the stadium event wins. This is the place to finish up for the
MXGP2 Champion!
Special thanks to Kfree for helping me test what works online vs offline.
And a very extra special thanks to ASILENTENIGMA for testing this guide to see if it is the quickest way to completion.
