MXGP Pro is a simulation/arcade dirt bike racing game developed and published by Milestone. The game features the riders and the bikes from the MX2 and MXGP categories, along with all the tracks from the 2018 Season.
The platinum is pretty straightforward but is grindy and not very easy. While you can play everything on the easiest settings and use the rewind feature as much as you want during your career, you cannot do so in the training sessions, and they're pretty tricky to complete. Plus you'll have to beat a ghost in Time Attack mode and unfortunately, you might not be able to download a friend's ghost, which means you'll have to beat someone in the Top 60 worldwide.
In career mode, you'll have to complete 2 Seasons for a total of 38 double races. There is also a trophy for getting 100 podiums in career and/or grand prix modes, and you won't be anywhere near that total after getting all the other trophies, so be ready to grind races for this trophy.
Step 1: Tutorial and Training
When starting the game for the first time, you’ll automatically be in the tutorial and while you could skip it, it’s best to do it right now as there is a trophy tied to it. After completing it, go and complete all the training sessions. There are 6 categories and 5 sessions for each of them. These are actually pretty tough and you’ll probably have to retry them a few times before beating them, but it’s best to do them now as they give some performance bonuses. The scrubs you perform during the scrub training sessions will also count even if you fail the challenge, so you’ll have fewer scrubs to do later during your career.

Step 2: Career mode + holeshots and scrubs
Now start your career mode, create your rider and choose any bike. Don’t forget to select a sponsor for every component. You’ll start in MX2 and will have 19 double tracks to win as there is a trophy tied to each one of them. At the start of your second season, don’t forget to change category to do the MXGP championship. Again, you’ll have the same 19 double races to complete, and while you could skip some of them when you’re uncatchable, it’s best to win them as you need 100 podiums anyway. After each race, you’ll have to reply to some other riders, be sure to reply positively 5 times for a trophy.
Don’t forget to perform scrubs when you can, and to get holeshots. You don’t need to do the qualifying as it’s pretty easy to get holeshots starting from the last place.
When you get enough credits, buy 3 components for your bike and a helmet for your rider from the main menu to unlock some more trophies.
You’ll also have to complete a Grand Prix in Extreme career mode, but you don’t actually have to play it. Start your extreme career and start the first race, pause the game and retire from the event to get the trophy.

Step 3: Custom championship and Time trial
After completing your career, it’s time to do a custom championship. Edit the championship and select only 4 races to make it faster to complete. Choose any tracks and any rider, it doesn’t matter as you don’t have to play any of them.
After starting each race, pause the game and retire from the event, you’ll finish last in each race but the championship will still be completed and you’ll get the trophy. Custom championships don’t count for the 100 podiums anyway so there’s no need to complete it.
Now that it’s done, go to time trial. Here you’ll have to beat any ghost and if you’re lucky, you can set a low time with an alt account or ask a friend to do so, download their ghost and beat it. But for some reason, it might not work as their ghost might not appear or it could appear but says that it’s corrupted and you’ll be unable to download it.
If this happens, you’ll have no other choice but to beat someone else’s ghost, but the game only register the Top 60 ghosts for each track, so this will be pretty hard to beat them and it’ll only be harder with time. A good track for this is the Compound - MX as the time are more lenient than others tracks, but it’ll still require some practice.

Step 4: Clean up and grind
Start a Grand Prix with an official rider and set the weather to rain then win the Grand Prix to get a trophy. Now start another Grand Prix and set it to full weekend, make sure to get the pole position during the qualifying race and then get a holeshot in the first race. Make sure to complete the race or the trophy won’t unlock.
Now that you’re done with all these modes, you’ll probably get every trophy but the 100 podiums. Clean up any trophy you still need and then go in Grand Prix mode and grind the last podiums you need.
You’ll get 38 podiums during your career plus a few others with the trophies related to Grand Prix mode, so you’ll have to grind this for a few to get 100 podiums.
The fastest track is the Compound - SX which can be completed in about 5-6 minutes while others will take 7-8 minutes, so it’s best to do this one over and over to save some time.
