Introduction
MotoGP 15 is the latest instalment in the official MotoGP series. There are a few more modes and customisation options but the core game remains essentially the same. The trophies require you to play every mode plus a little bit more on the side. You'll be spending a lot of time in career mode in order to obtain enough credits for Garage completed and experience for Every star in the sky. All in all, it's relatively easy and won't take that long. To make it easier to obtain the Platinum, always set the A.I on very easy (they're not that hard on any difficulty but it makes it just that bit easier) and set the sessions to race only to forgo free practice and qualifying. Note that the steps of the following walkthrough can be done in any order; this is merely the order that makes the most logical sense to me.

Note on glitched trophies: Note that on PS4, the descriptions for the 5 'win with *** team' trophies say 'in MotoGP career mode'. This is a mistake by the developers - they should say 'in any game mode', as they do on PS3, and indeed they will unlock in any game mode.

WARNING

There is a nasty glitch that can randomly occur, if you don't play with the latest patch, when you try to load the Motegi race in career mode that will cause the game to crash and then crash again every time you try to load it (more details about this here, credit to ollie40 and mike87). So to avoid any issues, make sure to install the patch.

Walkthrough

Step 1: Special Events
First up, win all of the special events: Beat the Time, 2-Stroke, and 2014 Real Events. These are relatively simple: For Beat the Time you must complete a lap of each circuit faster than a given time and for 2-Stroke and 2014 Real Events you must either win, get to a certain position or overtake certain people. During this step, you will earn:

Time is not a limit
Once upon a time
The last time we were there

Step 2: Career Mode
This is where you will earn the majority of the trophies. For this step you must win a race on each and every track; sign for Moto2 and MotoGP teams; win the MotoGP championship; upgrade one bike to its limit; and win with your own private team, all in MotoGP career mode. You will start as a Moto3 wildcard and have to work your way up the rankings to reach MotoGP. In the trophy guide, for clarity's sake, the tracks are detailed by their place in the season, however, you will start career mode halfway through a season at Brno then skip straight to Valencia which is the last race of the season. Both of these races count for the individual track trophies. Also, note that the term 'MotoGP Career Mode' covers the entire mode so the trophies can be done in any class, with the exception of World Champion. During this step, you will earn:

General Manager
In the land of the rising sun
Texas forever
The motorland
Winning on the Brickyard
Under the Spanish sun
TT Assen win!
4 right and 10 left
A night in the desert

World Champion

Step 3: Online
Online mode can be accessed from the multiplayer tab in the main menu. For this step, you must complete 25 races and a championship; win a split times race, as well as moving up a class in sprint season. All of these can be boosted, though You've earned it! can be difficult since the matching is random, but they shouldn’t cause much trouble earning them legitimately. If you do want to boost them, use the dedicated boosting threads: here (PS4) and here (PS3). During this step you will earn:

Connected!
They know you around the world
You’ve earned it!
One piece at a time
Social Rider

Step 4: Miscellaneous
This step consists of cleaning up any miscellaneous trophies you may have missed, as well as ones obtained in Grand Prix mode. You will also be grinding for levels and credits to purchase bikes. During this step you will earn:

Personal engineer
The best of the best
In the middle class
The Beginning
Faster! Faster!
A champion of the past
The flying wings!
The fastest diapason
It was a long time
Back from Italy

  • Reach 340 km/h - 211 mph in any game mode

  • Win a race with an official rider from the 2-Stroke Champions class, in any game mode

Simply go into Grand Prix mode and win a race using a rider from the 2-Stroke Champions category. Note that you have to win the race, not just complete it but you can also do this in online mode.

Simply win a race with a Repsol Honda bike. The easiest way to do this is to go into Grand Prix mode and use either Marc Marquez or Dani Pedrosa. Simply win a race using a Movistar Yamaha bike. The easiest way to do this is to go into Grand Prix mode and use either Jorge Lorenzo or Valentino Rossi. • Sign a contract for a season in Moto2™ in MotoGP™ Career mode

Once you have established yourself in Moto3 you will be able to express a preference for Moto2 teams, then when you next receive offers you should be able to sign for the one you expressed a preference for as well as a few other Moto2 teams.

  • Complete the technical development of a bike in all its components

Bike development is done in the Pits before a race, once you have established your private team. In order to develop your bike, you need data packs, which can be earned in two ways: You get 1 for completing the first lap of a career race and 3 for beating a set time in testing sessions. Since data packs are locked to a specific bike (i.e. you can only use them on the bike you earned them with) you might as well use them as you get them. You probably won't get the trophy until you reach MotoGP because you move through the classes relatively quickly. Each bike has different areas of improvement, and different amounts of data packs are needed to upgrade these to their maximum.

  • Win a race with pro physics, tyre wear, and bike damage activated in any game mode

Simply go into Grand Prix mode and in riding aids, ensure that the physics are set to Pro and that tyre wear and bike damage are on in Race options. This may seem challenging at first but it isn’t too hard if you set the A.I to Very Easy and give yourself the maximum number of rewinds.

You can follow this tip by Combatting:

First off head to Grand Prix, then pick a rider of your choice. For track selection, I would use Le Mans - France as it has two sizeable chicanes that you can cut.

Before starting the race, make sure the following settings are activated/on:

    Race Options:

    • Bike Damage: Heavy
    • Tyre Wear: On
    • Penalty Timer: Off
    • Disciplinary Flags: Off

Knocking the latter off will let you cut the corners without giving you a penalty, and it won't effect this trophy or other trophies.

    Riding Aids:

    • Physics: Pro
    • Auto Brakes: Off
    • Joint Brakes: Off
    • Steering Help: Off
    • Tuck-In: Manual
    • Ideal Trajectory: None
    • Transmission: Manual
    • Rewinds: 6
    • TCS: Your setting of choice

Onto the race, you will have to change gears manually. To do this press to change Up and to change Down. To use your rewinds press .

  • Win all the Beat The Time events

The Beat the Time events have you complete a lap faster than a given time. Simply beat all of them to earn this trophy. There are 18 events, one for each track.

  • Win all the events in 2-Stroke Events mode

The 2-Stroke events have you either win a race, reach a certain position or overtake certain people. Simply beat them all to earn this trophy. There are 18 events, one for each track.

  • Purchase all the bikes in the MotoGP™ Career mode

You can only purchase bikes once you have established a Private Team. From the private team menu, found in-between the calendar and tablet in your trailer, select bikes and purchase all of the bikes using MotoGP credits which are earned by performing well in career races. In all there are 15 bikes to purchase, at a total of 12,550,000 credits. You get around 95,000 for a win in MotoGP class so you will have to grind out many career wins to obtain this many credits.

  • Win all the Real Events from the 2014 season

The 2014 Real Events have you either win a race, reach a certain position or overtake certain people. Simply beat them all to earn this trophy. There are 18 events, one for each track.

  • Complete 25 races online

Online races can be accessed from the online section of the multiplayer tab. You can use the search filters in custom game to search for only race lobbies. Simply complete 25 races online. Note that you only have to complete the races, not win them.

  • Sign a contract with a MotoGP™ team in MotoGP™ Career mode

Once you have established yourself in Moto2 you will be able to express a preference for MotoGP teams then when you next receive offers, you should be able to sign for the one you expressed a preference for as well as a few other MotoGP teams.

  • Accumulate a total of 1335 Km - 830 mi ridden in any game mode

This isn't as far as it sounds, and you should get there during the grind for Garage completed, if not before. Note that it is cumulative and builds up over all modes.

  • Become MotoGP™ world champion in MotoGP™ Career mode

Simply win the MotoGP championship. First of all you need to get yourself into MotoGP, as Moto 3 and Moto 2 do not count towards this trophy. A full season consists off 17 races where the championship is decided by a point system, with points awarded based on the racers' finish position from each race.

The points system goes as follows:

    • 1st – 25
    • 2nd – 20
    • 3rd – 16
    • 4th – 13
    • 5th – 11
    • 6th – 10
    • 7th – 9
    • 8th – 8
    • 9th – 7
    • 10th – 6
    • 11th – 5
    • 12th – 4
    • 13th – 3
    • 14th – 2
    • 15th – 1

If you are far ahead of the rest, then you can retire races to make things go more quickly, but you will not earn XP for this.

  • Unlock all the riders in the game

Riders are unlocked as you level up. The final rider, Valentino Rossi (2-Strokes), will be unlocked upon reaching level 70.
