Introduction:

The MotoGP series is back with another compact version of its full-scale annualised title. Trophy-wise, you're not looking at anything too difficult or time consuming to complete. Your journey towards earning all of the trophies pretty much consists of playing 25 online races with varying motorcycle manufacturers, and experimenting with different difficulty settings and tuning setups. This can be easily accomplished within a few hours of gameplay and serves as a nice casual entry point into MotoGP so those unfamiliar with the series, won't need to invest all their time and effort into a full-scale version of the game.

Walkthrough:

Step 1: Complete 25 Online Races and Win with Various Teams

During this step you should be focused on completing 25 online races and winning races with the five required manufacturers/teams: Honda, Yamaha, Ducati, Suzuki, Aprilla. You should also try to change your Bike's settings through the 'engineer' menu prior to a race, as well as choose one race featuring a long straight to attempt to reach 340 km/h on.

At the end of this step you should have earned:

Faster! Faster!
Connected!
The flying wings!
The fastest diapason
It was a long time
Back from Italy
The Red Baron
Personal engineer
Social rider

Step 2: Winning a race with Pro Physics, Damage and Tyre Wear enabled

It seemed real gets its own step because, for some reason, it doesn't seem to unlock in Online Multiplayer. Here you will be trying to win 1, single player Grand Prix event with the required difficulty settings to unlock this trophy.

10 trophies ( 7  )

  • Reach 340 km/h - 211 mph in any game mode

For this trophy you want to select a track with a long straight such as Losail. Simply ride around the track until you reach the beginning of the straight and then floor it. You should reach 340 km/h just before you need to brake for the next corner. Keep in mind that this trophy can be unlocked in Online Multiplayer.

  • Complete your first online race

Pretty straightforward, just complete an online race but be sure to finish it. A Did Not Finish (DNF) result won't count.

  • Win a race with a Repsol Honda Team bike in any game mode

The Repsol Honda Team features the riders: Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa. Simply select one of these riders and win a race. This can be completed in any mode but in order to maximise your efficiency, it is recommended that you try to win an Online race to contribute towards Social rider.

  • Win a race with a Movistar Yamaha MotoGP bike in any game mode

The Movistar Yamaha MotoGP team features the riders: Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi. Simply select one of these riders and win a race. This can be completed in any mode but in order to maximise your efficiency, it is recommended that you try to win an Online race to contribute towards Social rider.

  • Win a race with a Team Suzuki MotoGP bike in any game mode

The Team Suzuki Ecstar features the riders: Aleix Espargaro and Maverick Viñales. Simply select one of these riders and win a race. This can be completed in any mode but in order to maximise your efficiency, it is recommended that you try to win an Online race to contribute towards Social rider.

  • Win a race with an Aprilia Racing Team Gresini bike in any game mode

The Aprilla Racing Team Gresini features the riders: Alvaro Bautista and Marco Melandri. Simply select one of these riders and win a race. This can be completed in any mode but in order to maximise your efficiency, it is recommended that you try to win an Online race to contribute towards Social rider.

  • Win a race with a Ducati Team bike in any game mode

The Ducati Team features riders: Andrea Dovizioso and Andrea Iannone. Simply select one of these riders and win a race. This can be completed in any mode but in order to maximise your efficiency, it is recommended that you try to win an Online race to contribute towards Social rider.

  • During a race session, modify the bike settings with the Chief Engineer in Pit Menu and win the race

In the garage prior to beginning a race, you can scroll across to the left to an 'Engineer' section. Here you can give the engineer feedback on how your bike handles, to which they will then try to tune the bike to accommodate your feedback. Simply allow them to make some changes and go on to win the race.

If you attempt this trophy in Online Multiplayer, you may be given the response that the engineer doesn't have the time to make the requested changes. In this case, you can scroll down to the bottom of the engineer menu and select the option: 'I want to work on the bike set-up directly'. Here, simply change one of the Suspension settings slightly and go on to win the race.

  • Win a race with pro physics, tyre wear, and bike damage activated in any game mode

This trophy is technically glitched, however the glitch is not particularly detrimental and will in no way affect your ability to complete the game. While the trophy description indicates that this trophy can be unlocked in any game mode, for whatever reason, it appears as though this trophy cannot be earned in Online Multiplayer so this will have to be earned in a single player Grand Prix event.

For this trophy, I recommend selecting the rider: Marc Marquez and the track: Sachsenring. Your options should be as follows:

    Race Options:

    • Length: 15% (3 Laps)
    • Race Session: Only Race
    • AI Difficulty: Very Easy
    • Weather Conditions: Clear
    • Bike Damage: Light
    • Tyre Wear: On
    • Technical Problems: None
    • Penalty Timer: On
    • Disciplinary Flags: Off

    Riding Aids:

    • Physics: Pro
    • Auto Brakes: Off
    • Joint Brakes: Off
    • Steering Help: Off
    • Tuck-In: Automatic
    • Ideal Trajectory: Full
    • Transmission: Semi-Auto
    • Rewind: 6
    • TCS: Full

Compared to riding with the aids on, having them off is going to make the bike feel a lot more unsettled, and generally a lot more prone to sliding and twitching through corners. My advice is to keep all of your inputs smooth and avoid crashing into the other riders. There are plenty of opportunities around the lap to overtake a few competitors at a time so there should be no rush to be in first place at the end of the first corner. Avoid crashing, use your rewinds if needed and this shouldn't prove to be much trouble.

  • Complete 25 races online

This is where practically all of your time will be spent if you intend on completing this trophy list. In ideal circumstances, each race is going to last around 6-8 minutes (including loading times) so you're looking at roughly 3 hours to complete the 25 needed for this trophy. The good news is that they only need to be completed, not won so your performance doesn't matter too much. Keep in mind though that DNFs will not count towards this total.

Where possible, you want to be combining this trophy with the other trophies in this list. For example, winning an online race with a Ducati team bike for The Red Baron trophy will also add a +1 to your online race count.

Keep in mind that the Online Multiplayer for this game is often completely deserted. In order to complete 25 online races, you may need to organise a partner to play with. Please use the following threads to find boosting partners:

    PS3: LINK

If you plan on boosting wins with another player, you can set the match to Private which will let you set a password on the room so that no one can enter. Private matches will still count towards the 25 races needed for this trophy.

Unless a trophy specifies otherwise, you should always be voting for the track: Sachsenring; with weather: Clear, as this combination yields the shortest lap time. Your online settings should be as follows:

    • Physics: Standard
    • Transmission: Semi-Automatic
    • Length: 3 Laps
    • Qualifying: No
    • Track Selection: Voting
    • Weather Selection: Voting
    • AI Difficulty: No AI
    • Collisions: No
    • Damage: Off
    • Tyre Wear: No
    • Private Match: Determined by You
