Warner Bros. brings us their new jewel this year with the 10th version on the world popular 2D fighting game Mortal Kombat, this time improving the graphics in the new consoles generation, the PS4.

One of the new features in this release is the Faction War, where you help your faction to fight against the other factions around the world in an endless fight across Invasion Towers, Team Battles, and Living Towers, where if you gain some respect, you can unlock tickets and use them in another new feature: Faction Fatalities, which look awesome.

Also, this time the game gives us a new characters with great and powerful moves making the experience more entertaining.

The trophy list is huge with 61 trophies; just very few games have this number of trophies, but out of all these trophies there is just one

trophy. Luckily this time the grind is more decent and truly the game isn’t as hard as MK9.

The following is the list of buttons to press as Default (Present 1) using a Dualshock PS4 Wireless Controller; when the game were released for PS3 version, the buttons will be exactly the same:

Step 6 (Online Boosting trophies):

Important: Bear in mind that the servers are Region Locked so you can't boost with players in another region in the world i.e. US and EU. They have separated rooms in the game so you want to ask for help just with players in your same region.

Introduction:

Welcome to Mortal Kombat XL, the expanded and improved version of Mortal Kombat X. This release of MKX comes with the new netcode version that Netherrealms has created, along with a second Kombat Pack with a set of 4 new characters.

The updates included in MKXL are free for everyone and as such a few of the trophies can be earned with the new Kombat Pack II characters. Most of the trophies are centered around these characters though so if you want to 100% the game now you will need to own these new characters.

If you need any info on game mechanics or anything general about the game then you can view the main game guide for more info.

Walkthrough:

Step 1: Klassic Tower

You first step will be to get the trophies related to doing things in Klassic Towers. These are all specified in the trophy descriptions and if it's not specifically stated that it needs to be done in a Klassic Tower, then don't worry about it right now. Due to how the Klassic Tower works, the stages that appear are random so if you come across one needed for a specific character, you should switch to that character from the pause menu. This won't prevent you from getting any of the trophies. Once you have gone through a tower finishing with one of the Kombat Pack II characters, if you still need some individual trophies then I recommend playing through the tower as needed but if you get to the second last fight against Shinnok without getting a stage then you need just quit and start over.

Step 2: Ranked/Online

This is the hardest step of the DLC, due to needing to win a ranked match with Bo' Rai Cho. This cannot really be boosted with the game's ranked setup so if you aren't great at the online you'll probably just have to hope to get matched up against someone equally not as great. I advise combining your win with Dance The Night Away since you're winning a match anyway.

Your last step will be to cleanup the rest of the random trophies for the DLC. These ones don't require any specific mode to finish them so you can just do them in 2 player against another controller to make it easy.

Across the game, you will need to play and complete many towers so this will come with your natural progression of the game. The shortest tower to complete has 5 opponents playing against AI on Very Easy.

Complete a Tower with every character

The game has multiple Towers in different game modes. Here is the list of all possible Towers:

Offline:
- Traditional Towers (5)
- Tower Challenges
Online:
- Living Towers (3)

So for this trophy, you need to complete at least one tower with every character. This includes Shinnok character who is unlocked completing the story. No DLC characters are required for this trophy.

The shortest Tower to complete is War Tower with only 2 opponents and 1 Test Your Might level, but that mode needs to be unlocked first to gain access to it. Another option is Test your Might Tower (Offline), but you need a strong arm to keep smashing buttons for a few hours.

If you love your arm and you are looking for another option, you should focus on the Hourly Tower located in the Living Towers which has only 5 opponents and you can work with Tower God trophy at the same time.

Keep track off all your characters so you don’t repeat a tower with the same player by mistake.

Complete 10 Living Towers

This trophy will take you around 2-3 hours playing the shortest tower all the time. Please refer to Tower God trophy for more information.

Complete 50 Living Towers

Important: Please refer to The Kollector trophy and work with that trophy meanwhile you play Living Towers.

There are two ways to Access Living Towers:
1. From the main menu simple press
2. Select One Player option from the Main Menu, then select Towers and choose the second option: Living Towers.
This game mode has 3 different towers and they change their conditions over time. The possible towers are this:
1. Premier Tower – Mortal Kombat 9 (14 Opponents)
2. Daily Tower – Massacre (8 Opponents)
3. Hourly Tower – Watch Your Step (5 Opponents)
for this trophy you need to complete at least 50 towers. The recommended tower is the Hourly Tower with just 5 opponents.

Every Hourly Tower will take you like 15-20 minutes, so doing some math you will be spending around 12-16 hours just in this game mode. Take it in mind.

Win a single Tower Challenge

For this trophy, you must first receive a Tower Challenge Alert from any friend. See BUDDY!!! trophy for more information.

Once you receive it, you will be asked to beat that score so you just need to play the same tower your friend has sent you and get a better score.

For better results, you can ask someone in your friend list that owns the game to send you a challenge that’s easy to beat. A score of 100,000-200,000 points to beat would be ideal.

If you don’t have any friends with the game, you need to create an alternate account in your PS4, add it as your friend and do a poor performance in any challenge, send it to your main account so you can easily beat that score.

The trophy will pop at the end of the tower in the stats screen as soon as you beat your friend’s score.

Send a Tower Challenge to a friend

From the main menu go to One Player option, select Towers, Tower Challenges, New Tower Challenge.

Here, you will need to complete a randomly generated tower with 5 opponents; you can’t change the difficulty in this tower. If you fail with any opponent, you can retry as many times as you need.

Once you beat all 5 opponents in the Tower, you get the option to Challenge Friends. Select any friend and the trophy will pop right after you send the challenge.

Your friend doesn’t need to have the game.
Pledge Yourself

Reach level 5 in any faction
To reach level 5, you need like 2,500 Faction XP. Please refer to No Loyalty trophy for more information.
Faction Champion

Reach level 50 in any faction

Reach level 50 in all factions

To reach level 50 in a faction, you will need 128,598 XP Points. Once you reach the maximum level for each faction, you won’t gain any XP for that faction and you need to change faction.

Please refer to Jump Ship trophy and unlock that trophy early in the game.

Warning: Every time you switch faction, your progress will be deleted and you need to start all over again for that faction, so bear this in mind and once you select a faction, stick with it until you reach level 50 to avoid unnecessary grinding.

Important: Also, keep track of all factions you have reached level 50 with. When reselecting a faction that you have already completed, it will reset your progress for that faction (XP back to 0!). There is no in-game counter to see which factions you have completed.

The 5 factions are:
- Lin Kuei
- Black Dragon
- Brotherhood of Shadow
- Special Forces
- White Lotus
Remember: In order to change to another faction, you need to select Faction option from the Main Menu and then the last option: Change Faction.

In your Kombat Kard, you can see your Profile Level in the left corner and the Faction Level in the right corner.

You can also see your Faction XP when you are logged into online mode and select War Menu () in the main menu. Here in the left option called Member Profile, you can track how many points are needed to reach the next level in your faction.

It's very important to know that depending on what icon, border and background you have selected it will give you huge bonuses. If you boost FXP, you only select pieces that give you bonus FXP. When boosting personal XP, you only choose things that give you those kind of XP.

For example: Having unlocked and equipped the following items will greatly boost your FXP for every match:
- Background: Shichiadan (+100 FXP per Match Win)
- Icon: Hanzo (+75 FXP per Brutality performed)
- Border: Completionist (+50 FXP per Match Win)
In a good match with a second controller and Danger modifier activated, you can earn around 575 XP in your faction performing a brutality. The game takes like 3 seconds, plus another 15 of loading screens. Here are the step of how to use this farming method:
- You need to complete the story first.
- Two controllers required.
- Start a Two Players match, Kustom Match combat.
- Selecting Shinnok (any Variant) as your 1st player and any other character as your 2nd player.
- First player select Danger modifier (Both Players). The second player keep modifiers empty.
- Confirm and select any map.
- As soon as the game start perform a Brutality with Shinnok (Hold)
- The reason for performing a brutality and not a fatality is it gives you more XP and takes less time.
With this method, you will reach level 50 with a faction in less than 90 minutes! It takes roughly 7-8 hours of farming to max out all 5 factions.

This method can be used to unlock the Elder God trophy too (utilizing XP Items in your Kombat Kard instead of FXP items).
Jump Ship

Become a member of every faction

Once you start the game, to play for the first time you will be asked to join one of 5 faction the game has. These are the 5 factions:
- Lin Kuei
- Black Dragon
- Brotherhood of Shadow
- Special Forces
- White Lotus
It’s highly recommended that you get this trophy immediately upon starting the game. The reason being is that every time you switch to another faction, you will lose all the progress for that specific faction and you will need to start all over again for that faction.

You can switch factions by selecting the Faction option in the Main Menu and pick the last option: Change Faction. Now choose your desired faction. Repeat this another 4 times to unlock the trophy. It only takes a few seconds.

Time Out

Win a match by time out
Very easy trophy. Here you just need to win any match with 0 time left in the clock. You can do this playing solo against the AI on Very Easy difficulty, playing with a second controller or playing/boosting it online.

You won’t have any trouble with this one; just make sure you have more health than your opponent and let the time run out.

Keep it Secret

Find a secret fight in the Living Towers

This trophy is only available in some very specific living towers. So far, the only 3 premier towers that works for this trophy are:

Living Tower: Premier Tower (Mortal Kombat 1).
Living Tower: Premier Tower (Mortal Kombat 2).
Living Tower: Premier Tower (Mortal Kombat 3).

There may be other towers in the near future where you can earn this trophy but their schedule is still unknown. Some towers may not have secret fights at all. The requirements to unlock the secret fights in other towers are still a big mystery. As soon as we know the requirements for more towers we will update it here.

Secret fight requirements in Premier Tower (Mortal Kombat 1) to unlock the trophy:
- Reach the 6th fight in the Tower
- You need to perform one Flawless Victory in any round
- When you win the match you need to do a Fatality or Brutality
- Reptile will show up with the trophy
You don't need to beat him. The trophy will pop just before the fight starts. If you get hit and you can't do a Flawless Victory, just press (Pause) and reselect character to try again. The trophy will still pop as soon as you complete all tasks.

If you are struggling with the Flawless, there are many possible characters to use, for example, you can try with Goro's third variant (Dragon Fangs) and keep spamming this combination: , , , every time.

Secret fight requirements in Premier Tower (Mortal Kombat 2) to unlock the trophy: (Thanks to DrDraX)
- Reach the 8th fight in the Tower
- When you win the match you need to do a Fatality or Brutality
- Kitana will show up with the trophy

Statistical Advantage

Another easy trophy. Select Extras from Main Menu, then select Offline Kombat History option and the trophy will pop immediately.

It has been reported that this trophy doesn’t unlock if you view your Kombat Kard in the online mode. If this happens, open your Kard in the Offline option.
Moving Up

Reach personal level 10 in XP
For this trophy you just need to play the game normally until you reach level 10 which requires around 22,000 XP Points. Won’t take too much to reach it. Please refer to Elder God trophy for more information.
Elder God

Reach personal level 65 in XP

One of the most time consuming trophies in the game. The game has two levels involved; they are the Personal Level and the Faction Level, both of them are showed in your Kombat Kard located in Extras in the Main Menu.

You gain XP doing everything in the game, winning matches, performing X-Ray moves, doing Fatalities and Brutalities, getting flawless victories, etc.

So for reaching level 65 you need to grind a lot. Reaching level 65 demands 1,927,124 XP (Thanks to PSN user killer91ITA for the confirmation).

It’s important to note that you can also keep track of your Progression Awards located in your Offline Kombat Kard which is in Extras in the Main Menu. Here you can complete different challenges such as performing 100 Fatalities, or performing 50 Special Moves because this will grant you more XP.

A New Beginning

Complete 50% of Story Mode
This trophy is unlocked in Chapter 7 in the story mode. Please refer to There is a Ruler trophy for more information.

Complete 100% of Story Mode
The story mode is very entertaining and quite short (2-3 hours skipping cutscenes) and is required not only for these two trophies, but you need to complete it to unlock Shinnok which is required for many other trophies.

Take note that you can also skip some fights using your Skip Fight tickets, but they are limited so use them wisely. Starting the game you are given with 3 of these tickets and you can find some others in the Krypt.

Also, you can change the difficulty to Very Easy in the Gameplay options inside the Options in the Main menu, so use this to your advantage facing all fights in the Story.

Win 5 complete Klassic King of the hill matches

Winning 5 matches in Klassic KOTH trophies are easily boostable with just one friend. From the Online main menu, go to King of the Hill option and select Klassic, Player Match. Here, you can create a room and tell your friend to join, trade 5 wins each to gain the trophy. Private Matches don't works for this trophy. Thanks to Darkknight1992 and WVG for the confirmation.

Important: Bear in mind that the servers are Region Locked so you can't boost with players in another region in the world i.e. US and EU. They have separated rooms in the game so you want to ask for help just with players in your same region.

You can work at the same time with Respected Fighter trophy to save time, but this will require at least 3 players in the same Player Match room.

Giving Respect

Give Respect points in a King of the hill match

While playing KOTH mode online with 3 or more players, the game asks for respect points to the King and these points can be given just from the audience. Neither the winning player or the losing player can give respect points, so for this trophy two players won’t work.

If you are watching or waiting for your turn in a KOTH room, you can give points to the winner, max 10 points each time, so for this trophy, you can join any random KOTH match as watcher and give at less one point to the winner at the end of the match. The trophy will pop immediatelly.

You need to go to King of the Hill option in the Online menu and select Klassic, Player Match. The game will join you to any KOTH random room.

Respected Fighter

Earn 1,000 Respect points

Same as Giving Respect trophy, but this time you need to receive the points; 1,000 or more to unlock this trophy.

For better results, boosting with just 3 players is the recommended step. It's important to note that to gain respect points, you need to play in Player Matches because Private Matches don't work for this. Thanks to BlackDevil990 and ExtremeGamer for confirm this information.

Important: Bear in mind that the servers are Region Locked so you can't boost with players in another region in the world i.e. US and EU. They have separated rooms in the game so you want to ask for help just with players in your same region.

Keep trading wins between each other, and the 3rd player must give 10 points every time to the winner.

Boosting with more people sounds better at first, but waiting for your turn to gain more points at the same time can be very boring, but the Vita can help meanwhile. It's up to you.

To gain 1,000 points, you need to win, complete and receive 10 points in 100 KOTH games, so if you want to unlock some trophies in the same road you can focus on Return Kustomer and Unstoppable trophies at the same time with two partners.

Warning: there have been many reports of losing points after a long session of boosting, so take this in mind and farm your points in a short periods of time, back out to the lobby and see if your points are there or they are gone. The game needs a patch to fix this issue, so it's possible to have it in the near future.

You do not need a full group of 8 to prevent randoms from joining.

How To:
- Bring all boosters into a Playstation Party Chat
- Create a room (Rooms sub-menu, use to create a room)
- Have everyone in the party chat "join session" on the host
- Host selects another player to challenge to KOTH/Survival
- During the invite players section, you can add/remove slots with /
- Allow for only enough slots to accommodate your number of players
- Send Challenge
- Start your boosting session
Please note that if someone gets dropped from the game, they should join back as soon as possible as, of course, the vacant slot could be taken by a random.

According with Kaimaerah you can also boost this trophy while playing KOTH Survivor:

The Respected Fighter trophy can be boosted with 2 people. I did this with an alt earlier today using mostly player match koth survivor. Making a room can be obnoxious because while you can limit the slots you can only limit them to 3 slots so an empty slot will be there if there's only 2 boosting and I had more issues with randoms joining that way. I had someone join 4 times while boosting the trophy but went an average of 20-25 matches done before a random joined. I backed out both the alt and myself and waited about 10 mins before trying again.
Terrifying Encounter

Confront a beast within the Krypt

This trophy can be obtained after opening the first gate in the Krypt. Occasionally while exploring the Krypt, you will be attacked by animals. This will trigger a small QTE event where you need to press a button to fend off the attacker.

Walk along the right side of the graveyard after the starting area, and you'll get attacked by a small wolf. Or you can enter the tunnels on the right where you'll get attacked by spiders.

Once you face this beast, you don’t need to press the correct button to pop the trophy. The trophy will pop as soon as the beast appears.

Tower Battle mode can be found in the Online menu, you can play it with randoms players if you wish or boost it with just one partner in a Private matches (recommended). Thanks to Darkknight1992 for the confirmation.

The objective in this tower is to complete as fast as you can the tower trying to gain more score than your human opponent(s) in 10 minutes of the Tower time.

Basically for better results, you and your boosting partner need to trade wins; one player needs to be idle until the 10 minutes expires meanwhile the other plays as he will.

Boosting will take no more than 2 hours getting both of you the trophy.

Bill of Goods

Win 1 complete match in Survivor King of the Hill

Inside the Online main menu, select King of the Hill, Survivor. You can easily boost this trophy with just one partner in a Private Match. One of you creates the room and invites the other person. Now trade 1 win each, that’s it.

The difference between this KOTH mode and Klassic is that in this mode there is only one round not two; the rest is the same.

Yes, this trophy has returned and will be a royal pain to get; almost impossible to get it the legit way.

One possible way to boost it is to search for a match at the very same time as your boosting partner. If you are lucky, you will land in the same session. Use a headset or live chat to coordinate your search for matches.

Luckily there is a trick to unlock this trophy, thank to BlackDevil990 for confirming the USB save trick still works for this one. With it, you would back up your save game on a USB device after every win, and if you lose, you load your save game back onto your console.

Here are the steps using the USB trick (Thanks to Hawks1523):

Step 1. Go to online -> Versus -> Ranked match

Step 2a. If you WIN, go back to main online menu. Press the PS button go to [Settings] -> [Application Saved Data Management] -> [Saved Data in System Storage] -> [Upload to Online storage] OR [Copy to USB Storage] -> [Mortal Kombat X] -> PLAYER SETTINGS -> Upload.

This is one of the hardest trophies in the game but with practice, is very doable.

Keep in mind that you need to complete the story first because Shinnok is required for this trophy and you unlock him after beating the story.

To earn this trophy you must perform a 10-hit combo with all 24 characters in the game (excluding DLC characters). You can do this in practice mode and we strongly recommend do it in this mode.

To make things easier, you should always use X-Ray attacks (can be used infinitely in practice mode). They do 5-15 hits depending in the character. With some characters, you will only need to activate the X-Ray and it will count as 10+ hits.

If you are struggling with some character's combo, there is another method to unlock this trophy but you first need to unlock the Juggle Kombat modifier, which you can find playing Living Towers. These towers change randomly their modifiers so keep looking for it, with this modifier you lose gravity and you just need to hit your opponent 10+ times before touching the ground.
FINISH HIM

Perform 1 Fatality in a match
You will perform endless Fatalities over the course of this game so this trophy won’t be a problem.

If you want this trophy right away and you are struggling with some fatalities, you can use the Easy Fatalities Ticket and perform it with a simple buttons such as + .

Keep in mind that the game only gives you 3 of this tickets at the start of the game, so use them wisely.

Bloody Good Time

Perform a Fatality in a match with every character

Each character has two fatalities. One is unlocked from the beginning on and another one can be bought from the Krypt.

It doesn't matter which fatality you use to get the trophy. Only one fatality per character is required. There are 24 characters (excluding DLC), so you need to do 24 fatalities in total.

Bear in mind you need to complete the story first to unlock Shinnok which is required for this trophy.

A fatality can be performed at the end of the match. Instead of simply hitting your enemy, you can press a combination of buttons to trigger a special death sequence. The button input for each character can be viewed in the pause menu (pressing Options button) where it says "Finishing Moves".

Note that you have to do this in real matches. It won't unlock the trophy in training mode.

One of the trickiest Fatalities to perform is Ermac. You need to hold down until pressing the last button of his combo. Go to practice mode first if you are struggling with it. Also, you can use one of your Easy Fatalities Ticket with Ermac and still will work.

A Brutality is another kind of finishing move in the game and can be performed by doing specific tasks, such as winning one round with more than 50% of health or executing at least 3 special moves, etc.

You can see the specific requirements for each character pressing Options button and selecting Move List. The Brutalities can be found in Finishing Moves.

For easy and fast results, you can perform Takeda’s first Brutality called Armless which is one of the easiest brutalities in the whole game. Here are the requirements to perform this brutality:
- Available in all Variations.
- Player must press or 4 times during the final hit
- Final hit must come from a throw or +
Playing with a second controller is the best option, but playing against the AI or with a boosting partner online works too.

Remember to wait until your enemy has 5-10% of health and grab your opponent with once you grab him(her) keep pressing OR at least 4 times and you will end the match with the Brutality label in the screen.

Repeat this process 50 times to gain the trophy.

The following characters also have very easy brutalities:
- Raiden
- Kung Lao
- Shinnok
- Erron Black
- Reptile
- D’Vorah
You can switch between all of them, so it doesn’t get too boring. It’s up to you.

Perform every character's X-Ray

There are 24 characters in the game (excluding DLC). Each character has one X-Ray. You must press + with a full super meter to trigger the X-Ray attack.

For this trophy, you will need to complete the Main Story first because Shinnok is required to perform the X-Ray also, and he is unlocked after beating the story.

The quickest and safest way to get this is in practice mode. Here, you will always start out with a full super meter, so simply enter this mode and keep switching all the fighters after pressing + with them. DLC characters (Goro etc.) are not required for this.

Take note that almost every X-Ray move can be done by simple pressing this two buttons; just Sonya needs to parry an opponent hit and Takeda needs to be in the air. For a full reference of every move, you can watch the video:

This must be done with Kotal Kahn (doesn't matter which variation). There's a special attack called "Blood Offering". It takes away 10% of your health, but increases your damage output for a short period of time. You must use this move to kill yourself when your health is below 10%.

Load up a match and set it to very easy difficulty. Make sure you change the game options selecting 2 rounds per win, because one round doesn’t work for this trophy.

In the first round, let the enemy attack you until your health is really low and then kill yourself with the Blood Offering (, , , ). This special attack has a long cooldown so don't use it too early.

Now simply win the next two rounds and win the match. The trophy will pop right away.

Duck 30 times during Fatality sequence

At the end of a match, when you can use your fatality, you must duck 30 times very quickly instead of performing the fatality. You only have a few seconds to do this because the match will end automatically after a short time.

So basically when you see the "Finish him (her)" label in the screen, keep pressing button as fast as you can and the trophy will pop as soon as you press it at least 30 times.

Play 7 complete Test Your Luck matches
This game mode offers random modifiers in the match such as Danger, Ray of Super, and many others. They can affect the entire match depending on their characteristics. Rockets falling from the sky or getting slow motion if you step into purple skulls on the floor, etc.

From the main menu, select Single Player and then Test Your Luck. Select your desired character on Very Easy. Choose only one modifier and select any map. You can also change the gameplay options in Extras to one round per match and 30 seconds.

Win the match and select “Rematch Same Modifiers”, if you are confident with it, or change it if you wish.

Once you win your 7th match, the trophy will pop.
The Kollector

Unlock 50 Kustom Kombat Modifiers

The description for this trophy is wrong as you need to unlock 71 Modifiers as of the latest patch and not 50.
There are 126 different modifiers in the game and almost all of them are locked. For this trophy you need to unlock 71 of the locked modifiers but 21 mods are unlocked from the beginning on so you need to find 51 more.

You can check your mods in the main menu by selecting Two Player option, Kustom Kombat. Turn on your 2nd controller and choose characters for both players, then you can see a list of all your modifiers.

If you don't have a second controller, you can tell if you've already completed the current Hourly Tower with whatever modifier is active. In the bottom left hand corner, it tells your personal best and rank all time for that tower with that specific modifier. The stats will show your best score and rank all time for that Hourly Tower and the modifier related. (Thanks to philliesphanboy for the tip).

There are two ways to unlock the modifiers:
1. From the Krypt: 9 of the modifiers have fixed locations in the Krypt. Additional mods can be found in randomly appearing chests and by gambling at the lottery statue (requires Jax's Rocket Launcher to get access). When using the lottery statue, you should always put in 5,100 coins. This has the highest chance of giving you a modifier, but it's still very random. You should make a backup of your save game on a USB device or in the PS+ Cloud before gambling away your hard earned coins. If you don't win any mods, you can copy back your save game and have all your coins back, then try again. And if you do find a new mod, you overwrite the backup save game.

2. Playing Living Towers (Recommended): Beating an hourly living tower will earn you the same mod that is active throughout the tower. The living towers are generated randomly and the active mods are ever changing (daily towers don't unlock any mods).
The best strategy for this trophy is to only buy the ones from the Krypt that have fixed locations and then combine it with the trophy for 50 living towers (Tower God). Instead of repeating the same tower and over again, you wait until there's a new tower to get a new modifier. Only hourly towers unlock mods; daily towers don't.

Here's a guide for all Krypt locations: Krypt.

You need to explore it a bit and pick up all 12 interactive objects (e.g. raiden's staff to teleport, kenshi's sword to access Shao Kahn's temple etc.). You do not need to spend a single coin to get access to all areas; just pick up the interactive objects and then open the tombs that give you the modifiers.

Complete a Test Your Might Tower

This one can be challenging for many people depending in the strategy. Select One Player option in the main menu, then select Towers and choose Traditional Towers. You need to go to the right and find Test Your Might Tower.

The objective in this tower is smashing the buttons as fast as you can so you can break different objects across the 10 levels in the tower.

Every new level requires you to press the buttons quicker than in the last one. The last two levels are very hard because you need to press the buttons so quickly. For faster results, it’s recommended to have an AA-battery next to you so you can smash the buttons faster with it. You need to grab the battery with your fingers in horizontal position and move the battery across the buttons as fast as you can pressing OR when the red circle disappear and it turns in green.

If you fail, you will get killed and need to repeat the same level again. Here are the objects you need to break in every level:

There are 13 death animations in the Test Your Might tower located in one player menu in the main menu. When you fail a challenge, you will get killed. It's completely random which death sequence you will get. You can get all of them in the very first challenge. Just hit or buttons when the challenge starts, and it will fail immediately. Retry the challenge over and over again until the trophy unlocks. It takes roughly 20 minutes to see every death once (depending on how lucky you get).

To have access to this game mode, you first need to select Online option in the main menu. This is to gain access to the online portion of the game and get connected to the servers.

Now that you have access to the servers, go back to the main menu again and select Faction option and see if this mode is enabled; otherwise you need to come back later.

Once this mode is enabled, it lasts only 24 hours before another Invasion happens. The main objective in this mode is to fight against a super hard AI opponent with a golden shield (untouchable). You need to hit him/her as many times per match as you can. The 1,000 hits are cumulative so you don't need to hit the boss 1,000 in the same match.

Here are some tips:
- Do not expect to win it, it's impossible.
- The matches won't take too long.
- Do not panic if you lose by flawless victory in the first matches, the learning curve has just started.
- The opponent seems invincible, but it isn't.
- If you land a hit by luck and the opponent shows in yellow for a fraction of second, it doesn't count as a hit.
Here are two recommended methods to deal with this super fighter:
- In the beginning, this fighter turns angry and starts to grab and hit you like crazy, blocking everything you are trying to land. Another strategy besides blocking is the parry move, so you need to use a parry fighter such as Liu Kang.
- He can parry almost everything using his move Dragon Parry by pressing .
- The problem in this fight is the timing to parry, so you need to learn the enemy moves and keep parrying as much as you can.
- Even with this parry move the fight is impossible, but every parry you land hits the enemy twice. So if you can parry 10-15 times in a good match, you will get ~30 hits.
- The other reason to pick Liu Kang is because he is one of the fastest fighters in the game and here is the best reason: your X-Ray meter will increase very fast and if you can hit your opponent with it, it will count as another 15 hits. No other fighter can land as many hits with an X-Ray move as Liu Kang. Plus, the hits you could do with the parry will be much better.
- After performing the X-Ray move and if your rival doesn't block it, the shield will be gone and he/she can receive move damage.
- Now you can hit him/her with jumping and pressing , you will do more hits.
Using Lui Kang and following these tips you can unlock this trophy in around 50-70 matches, depending highly on your personal skill.

If you are struggling with the parry move, there's another method using Raiden (Thunder God variation) and spamming one easy combo: , , , (Hold) . For visual reference, you can watch the video. Thanks to Nobodygrotesque for the information.

Any of these two methods should be enough to unlock this trophy in less than 1 hour.

INVASION

Complete an Invasion Tower

From the main menu, select Faction then Invasion Tower. If this game mode is locked, you need to come back later.

There is an Outworld Tower in this game mode, and here you need to fight against 7 opponents and complete 1 Test your Might level. The fights have different modifiers. Some of them are really unfair, causing you to gradually lose health and be poisoned while your enemy doesn't have any negative modifiers against him/her.

The tower is a little more difficult than the Hourly Tower in the Living Towers mode and you need to expect the last 2 levels even harder, so here is when you want to use your Skip Fight Tickets if you feel the fight is unbalanced or you are struggling with an enemy.

Once you win the 8th match legit or by skipping it, the trophy will pop.
Can't Stop This

Win an Invasion 1v1 fight

Invasion 1v1 fights take place randomly in the Hourly Living Tower (not Invasion Towers) and Single Fight matches. Sometimes after beating an opponent in a Living Tower or Single Fight, you will be asked if you want to play a 1v1 fight. When this prompt comes up, you need to accept it and beat the opponent! This is completely random so you'll probably have to replay a couple of towers.

It only works when Invasion Mode is currently online. To check if it's available, you first need to select the Online option in the main menu. This is to gain access to the online portion of the game and get connected to the servers. Now that you have access to the servers, go back to the main menu again and select the Faction option and see if Invasion mode is enabled; otherwise you need to come back later.

According to Panicore, the secret fight shows up more times if you keep playing Hourly Living Towers.

Perform the Pit Stage Fatality with Leatherface in the Klassic Tower

This trophy is earned by doing the Pit Stage fatality with Leatherface in the Klassic tower (variation doesn't matter). To perform this you must press Forward, Back, Down, Up (, , , facing right) while in the Fatality sequence as close to the center of the arena as possible. If performed correctly you will punch your opponent of the edge of the map and they will fall down the pit. If you mess up the input and don't get this done during the Fatality window you can quickly pause the game before the match ends and return to Character select and choose Leatherface again to start the match over on the same stage.
The Kraken

Perform the Kove Stage Fatality with Triborg in the Klassic Tower

This trophy is earned by doing the Kove Stage fatality with Triborg in the Klassic tower (variation doesn't matter). To perform this you must press Down, Up (while holding block), then Block again (, [hold ], ) while in the Fatality sequence as close to the center of the arena as possible. If performed correctly you will punch your opponent up in the air and they will be grabbed by the Kraken. If you mess up the input and don't get this done during the Fatality window you can quickly pause the game before the match ends and return to Character select and choose Triborg again to start the match over on the same stage.

Perform a Stage Brutality with Alien in the Klassic Tower
This trophy is earned by performing any stage Brutality with Alien in the Klassic tower (variation doesn't matter). Stage brutalities are special Brutality kills that are performed on some of the stages. The Requirements are always the same for all characters. If you come across one of these stages during the Klassic Tower and aren't playing as Alien you can switch to it for the match and still earn the trophy.

List of Stage Brutalities

Dead Woods - Must use two stage interactions on opponent during final round of match (log on far left and swinging branch in middle) and final blow myst be from throwing log on far right from mid range.

Kuatan Jungle - During the final round, you must grab hanging branch in center right of screen and the killing blow must come from smashing enemy against stone statue in center of stage.

Lin Kuei Temple - During the final round, the killing blow must come from throwing fireball from one of statues hands while holding forward (towards opponent) at long range.

Outworld Marketplace - You must use the two stage interactions on opponent during the final round of match (barbecue on far left and barrel in middle) and the final blow must be from throwing white haired woman on right side from mid range.

The Kove - During final round killing blow must be from and Uppercut performed while hold .
Lands-Down

Don't perform a Kombo over 4 hits with Bo' Rai Cho and win a complete Online Ranked 1v1 match

This trophy is earned by winning an Online Ranked match with Bo' Rai Cho without performing any combo more than four moves. This is really the only hard trophy in the entire DLC because it requires winning a ranked match, and therefore can't really be boosted. Because of how ranked matchmaking works in MK X, if you aren't great at the online then you can continue playing matches until the game eventually matches you up with a newer player or someone with a bad record that should be relatively easy to beat.

Bo' Rai Cho is a fairly slow character and might be hard to use depending on your style. Because of this though the only real requirement is that you don't use his X Ray attack during the match (as it's more than 4 hits). Most of his other specials and regular attacks are fair game. I found the easiest thing to do is probably spam uppercuts and sweeps just to get around the other person's guard and do lots of damage quickly. A decent tactic you can try if your opponent isn't that great is jump over them and attack with in the air then Uppercut as soon as you land to knock them back. If they aren't able to guard against that you can continually do it and deal a lot of damage quickly.

This trophy is awarded once you are shown the end of match screen. I would advise combining this trophy with Dance The Night Away since you are winning an online match already.
Fox Finish

Win the match with your opponent stepping on Caltrops

(Online or Offline Multiplayer)

This trophy is earned by winning a match with Erron Black by having the final damage come from your opponent stepping on his Caltrops attack. This is done by pressing Down, Away, Cross (,, facing right) on any variation. This can be done in any mode so you can do it in 2 player versus with a second controller. Whittle your opponents health down to fairly low then throw out your Caltrops and let them stand there until they die.
Dance The Night Away

Flip Stance 10 times with a Kombat Pack 2 character during a Fatality sequence in an Online match
This trophy is awarded for using Flip Stance () 10 times during a fatality sequence in an online match. This can be done in any online mode, but I'd advise combining it with Lands-Down since you're winning an online match anyway. Once you get to the fatality sequence just mash until it ends, don't worry about doing a fatality at all. The trophy is awarded once the fatality sequence is over and the match ends.
Throwback

Perform a Klassic Fatality in a Klassic skin
(Online or Offline Multiplayer)

This trophy is awarded for performing a Klassic fatality with a character in their Klassic outfit. Not every character who has a Klassic Fatality has a Klassic Skin and vice versa. If you own MK XL then you will have all available options for this but if you don't and haven't bought the Klassic Skin packs then you will only be able to do this with Scorpion or Sub Zero.

The characters that have Klassic Skins and Klassic Fatalities in MK XL are:

Perform Bo' Rai Cho's Drinking special 10 times during a match in the Klassic Tower
This trophy is awarded by performign Bo' Rai Cho's Drinking special move in a Klassic Tower match. This requires playing as the Drunken Master variation and is performed by inputting Down, Down, Square (, , ). This makes him drink from his canteen but doesn't actually attack his opponent. I suggest knocking your opponent away with an Uppercut then spamming the input until they approach again. On successfully executing the input your tenth time, Bo' Rai Cho should vomit on the ground and award you the trophy.
Hug It Out

Throw 5 Face Huggers during a match with Alien in the Klassic Tower
This trophy is awarded by successfully performing Alien's Ovomorph special 5 times during a Klassic Tower match. This can be done only in Konjurer variation and is performed by inputting Down, Away, Square (, , facing right). This causes you to summon a Face Hugger pod from the ground that sends a Face Hugger after your opponent if they get too close. You don't need to successfully hit them with the Face Hugger but it must be launched out of the pod for it to count. If you get hit and the pod disappears before the Face Hugger emerges and flies at the opponent it won't count.
The Grinder

Win a match after connecting all attacks from Leatherface's Berserker Stance in the Klassic Tower
This trophy is awarded by hitting an opponent with every attack launched from Leatherface's Berserker Stance during a Klassic Tower match and then winning. This can be done only in Killer Variation, and is a set of three attacks that you have to hit. To enter Berserker Stance you input Down, Away, Cross (,, facing right), and then input , or to launch an attack ( again drops you out of Berserker Stance). This doesn't need to be all in one round but you need to successfully hit your opponent with all three attacks. You can launch the three attacks basically as soon as you enter the Berserker Stance input and Leatherface revs his chainsaw in front of him. If you hit all three attacks successfully the trophy will be awarded on the end of match screen.
Robots Rule

Win 5 complete matches with each Robot Type

This trophy is awarded by finishing 5 completed matches with each of Triborg's 4 variations. Triborg only has 3 variations displayed on his character select menu but there is a hidden fourth one that you must also used that is selected by pressing Up, Up, Triangle (, , ) in his variation select menu.

This trophy can be earned in any mode so if you want to do it quickly, then you can use the same method as to boost XP from the main list. Choose 2 player Kustom Kombat with the Brutality Kombat modifier. In all Variations Triborg does a variation just from grabbing his opponent () so as since as the match starts grab the opponent to kill them then rinse and repeat with all variations.
Going The Distance

Complete the Klassic Tower with one of the Kombat Pack 2 characters
This trophy is awarded for completing one Klassic Tower with a Kombat Pack 2 character. The characters required for this are Leatherface, Alien, Triborg or Bo' Rai Cho. You don't need to finish the entire tower with one character, you can switch around during to earn other trophies if you wish as long as you finish the last fight against Korrupt Shinnok with one of the four. The trophy will be awarded on the Tower point info screen.
All I Do Is Win

Jump back and forth over your opponent 5 times during the Fatality sequence and perform a Fatality

(Online or Offline Multiplayer)

This trophy is awarded for performing a Fatality on an opponent after jumping over top of them 5 times during the fatality sequence. This can be done with any character you want and in any mode so I recommend just choosing a character with an easy fatality or one you know well. Once you get to the fatality sequence jump back and forth over top of them five times then successfully input a fatality. If you need to double-check the input then you can pause the game during the sequence and it won't nullify the trophy. You can also use an Easy Fatality if you have any tokens available.
