Monster Energy Supercross 2 is a racing video game developed and published by Milestone, the team behind the MXGP series. The trophies are relatively easy with the exception of the training sessions first introduced in MXGP Pro. This time, you only need to get the maximum stars in 1 skill but you only have a couple of tries to do so and these sessions are only available in Career mode which means you’ll have to keep playing this mode to be able to have more training sessions.

There is also a trophy for reaching the podium in 100 events, and another one for reaching level 100 Prestige. You probably won’t have 100 podiums after finishing all the other trophies but you’ll be pretty close, unfortunately reaching Prestige 100 is a long grind, you won’t even be Level 50 after finishing everything else. So be ready for a grindy platinum.

Step 1: Complete a 250 East and a 250 West championships in Career mode + Misc

Start by playing in Career mode, choose any of the 250 championships and complete it, then do the other one and complete it too. Aim to win all races to get all their related trophies. You should also set the race session as semi-pro to try and get some pole positions. Also try to do some holeshots, it’s pretty easy even starting from last position. While playing your career, you’ll get the option to choose to do a few things before actually playing a race. It is important to choose either Training or Challenges, don’t worry about the other stuff right now or you might need to grind this mode for longer than necessary. So choose Training and Challenges when you can’t choose Training anymore. When doing Training, you should aim to get 10 stars in all different skills and then focus on your favourite/the easiest skill to get 30 stars. I found the easiest to be Scrubs but Reflexes would be a good option too.
You won’t be able to get 30 stars right now as you’ll need more experience to unlock harder challenges but do the maximum of them during this step. Also you should aim to win 5 face-to-face challenges and 5 time attack challenges, to unlock all the Training sessions.

Trophies earned during this step:
Homework
Arlington Winner
Tampa Winner
Atlanta Winner
Daytona Winner
St. Louis Winner
Indianapolis Winner
Minneapolis Winner
Foxborough Winner
Las Vegas Winner

Anaheim 1 Winner
Houston Winner
Anaheim 2 Winner
Glendale Winner
Oakland Winner
San Diego Winner
Seattle Winner
Salt Lake City Winner
250 West Champion

Neck to neck
Factotum

Step 2: Complete a 450 championship in Career + Misc

Continue your career and complete the 450 Championship. It’s very important to always choose the same Sponsor during this season to get a trophy. Also you should aim to win every race and especially the 14th one as it’s the Triple Crown events. During this season, focus on doing 5 Fame events and 5 Sponsor days to get these trophies, then continue with the training sessions. You probably won’t have enough experience to unlock all of them after finishing this season though.

Trophies earned during this step:
Road to success
Not for glory…
The Three Kings
Maximum loyalty
450 Champion
Marco Polo

Step 3: Keep playing 450 championship Career until you get 30 stars in training mode

As you still need experience points to unlock the last challenge sessions, and the only way to earn these points is to play career mode, keep playing until you eventually unlock them. It’s not really a waste of time as you need to get 100 podiums and Prestige 100 anyway. Once unlocked, complete them to finally get 30 stars in one skill then you can leave career mode.

Trophies earned during this step:
Specialist

Step 4: Official Championship with Official Rider

Next step is to complete an official championship with an official rider. The trophy only says “complete” but as you need 100 podiums anyway you should aim to complete and win every race.

Trophies earned during this step:
To the very end

Step 5: Misc + Editor Mode

Now head to the editor mode and follow the tutorial to build a custom start and a custom track. You'll need an online connection to even access the editor. Keep pressing to validate this track, do that 5 times with that same track and the trophy for validating 5 tracks will pop. Now do any other trophy such as completing a race with Advanced settings, using “The Real Thing” session or completing a lap with Helmet Camera and completing a track created by another player, etc.

Trophies earned during this step:
Feline sprint
Supremacy
It's time for turbo
Nameless ghost
Live your role
Pro
Collector
Ace
Around the world
Perfectionist
Engineer
Top of the class

Step 6: Grind

Now the real grind begins. Keep doing single events until you get your 100 podiums and then head to the compound. Here you need to ride 100 miles in freeroam, you can try to find a relatively open area and use some rubberband but you might get stuck here and there. The final step is to reach Level 100 Prestige and this will take a while. Even after completing everything else you probably won’t even be at level 50, so head to single event and look for a custom track called “Credits Boost SX” and keep doing this race, you’ll earn more than 100k points every 3 minutes playing on Easy. Playing on Realistic will net you more points and it's still pretty easy to finish this track on this difficulty. Also you could create a custom championship and add this track 4 times to get a little bonus after winning the championship.

Trophies earned during this step:
Donald Braaap
"Master of Scrubs"
Hero of the day
Easy Rider
A legend is born
Maestro
Prestigious
Supercross 2 Champion

51 trophies ( 42  )

  • Unlock all trophies

As always, unlock every other trophies to earn the Platinum!

  • Complete a Main Event in a Custom Track created by another player

While you need an online connection, you don’t need PS+.

Go in Single Player, Single Event any bikes type and then go to Track Selection. Choose Online Tracks and pick any of them. Complete the main event and you’ll get the trophy.

  • Validate a total of 5 Custom Tracks

This is an online trophy as you need to be connected online to even access the editor.

Go to Track Editor from the main menu and follow the tutorial to build your first track. Simply follow the steps, everything you need to choose will be highlighted. The last step of this tutorial will be to press to validate the track. Once it’s done, you could build different tracks if you wanted to, or you could just keep pressing , you will validate the same track over and over but it will count for the trophy and you’ll get it after doing that 5 times.

  • Pro

Win a Main Event with Advanced Physics in any game mode

Go to Race Options just before playing any race and set the Physics to Advanced. This will be a little bit trickier but nothing too bad, simply win the event and you’ll get the trophy.

  • Earn a total of 1,000,000 SX Credits

You earn Credits by winning races, championships, performing “stunts”, etc, and also by completing fame events in career mode. You shouldn’t worry too much about this trophy as you’ll get it naturally while going for Prestige 100 and the 100 podiums.

  • Get a Holeshot in any game mode

See It's time for turbo .

  • Get a total of 20 Holeshots in any game mode

Getting a holeshot means that you need to be in first position at the end of the first turn of the race. You’ll see the “holeshot” sign above you and also a white line on the ground. Crossing this line while being 1st will net you a holeshot. The trophy for getting 1 holeshot will pop straight away, but you still need to finish the race for it to register properly. Rewinding to cross the line again and again won’t count, you need to get 20 holeshots in different races, and finishing them.

This is pretty easy to get holeshots in this game, even starting from the last position, as long as you’re playing on the easiest difficulty as the other riders will brake a lot before taking the first turn.

  • Unlock all the Compound tracks

All the compound tracks will automatically be unlocked after winning the 450 Championship in career mode. It is possible that you could unlock them by winning a championship outside of career mode, but it’s guaranteed to unlock them by simply finishing the career.

  • Ace

Win a Main Event with the Race Type option set to "The Real Thing"

Go to Race Options just before playing any race and set the Race Sessions to “The Real Thing”. Now you’ll have to play the Qualifying sessions, then the Heat and the Main Event. Depending on your position during the Heat session, you might also play the Last Chance Qualifier session. You can skip the Qualifying session but don’t skip the Heat or you might not be qualified for the main event. Once you’re finally in the main event, win it to get the trophy.

  • Purchase a total of 10 components on the Rider Customization page

After earning a few credits, go to Customize from the main menu and Custom Rider. Buy 10 components and you’ll get the trophy.

  • Win a 450 Championship in Career mode

The 450 Championship will be unlocked once you win one of the 250 Championships. Choose it when you’re able to and then win it, there will be more races and other trophies will be tied to this particular championship such as keeping the same sponsor during the entire season, and winning the Triple Crown events so keep an eye on the other trophies to not miss them.

  • Win a 250 West Championship in Career mode

Choose the 250 West Championship when starting your career, and win all races to earn their respective trophies. Winning all of them will obviously mean winning the championship as well, unlocking this trophy.

  • Win a 250 East Championship in Career mode

Choose the 250 East Championship when starting your career, and win all races to earn their respective trophies. Winning all of them will obviously mean winning the championship as well, unlocking this trophy.

  • Reach the podium in 100 Main Events in any mode

Pretty straightforward, finish at least 3rd in 100 Main Events. You probably won’t get this trophy after finishing the career, the official championship as well as most of the other trophies so you will have to grind this for a bit. There’s no real shorter tracks as the tracks will last 3 minutes + 1 lap, so choosing a short track only means that you’ll do more laps.

You can see your stats in the main menu, pressing .

  • Reach Prestige level 50

    See Prestigious .

  • Complete at least one lap using the Helmet Camera in any game mode

Change the camera with the until you get the Helmet Camera and complete a full lap using that camera.

  • Set the pole position 30 times in Qualifying session in any game mode

You will first need to set the Race Sessions to at least Semi-Pro to be able to do the qualifying sessions. Then you’ll have a certain amount of time to perform the best time and get pole position, do that 30 times. For some reason, even on very easy, getting pole position during your career might be tricky. If you still don’t get this trophy after finishing it then keep doing qualifying sessions in single events.

  • Reach a Sponsor Objective in Career mode

When starting your career, you’ll need to choose a sponsor. They will give you objectives such as being above a certain place in the championship leaderboard when the contract will be over. Some contracts last longer than others, but the majority of them won’t last all season, so if your objective is to finish at least 5th and the contract lasts 4 weeks, you’ll need to be at least 5th after the 4th race.

  • Keep the same Sponsor for an entire 450 Season in Career mode

    Missable.

When you start the 450 championship in Career, you’ll need to choose a Sponsor. This sponsor will only lasts a couple of races and then you’ll need to choose a Sponsor again. Make sure to always choose the same and keep choosing the same every time you need to select one, until you finish the season.

  • Win a Challenge against a Rival rider in Career mode

During your career, you’ll get the opportunity to do a few things before actually playing a race. You’ll have to fill up 2 or 3 spots during the week before the race, and you can choose to challenge a rival.

Before the challenge starts, you’ll have to choose which rider you want to challenge. Riders with high rivalry will be time attack challenges. Rivals with low rivalry will be face-to-face challenges. For this trophy, you need to choose a rider with high rivalry, and beat his time in a time attack. You’ll have 3 laps to beat his time.

Winning one of them is enough to unlock this trophy, but you will need to win a total of 5 time attack challenges to unlock all the practice fields, required for other trophies.

  • Win a Challenge against a Neutral rider in Career mode

Winning one of them is enough to unlock this trophy, but you will need to win a total of 5 face-to-face challenges to unlock all the practice fields, required for other trophies.

During your career, you’ll get the opportunity to do a few things before actually playing a race. You’ll have to fill up 2 or 3 spots during the week before the race.

  • Cover 100 miles (160 km) in Free Roaming in the Compound

From the Main Menu go to Compound and enter it. Keep driving around until the trophy pops, this will take a while, also don’t start any race as only the free roaming distance will count.

During your career, you’ll get the opportunity to do a few things before actually playing a race. You’ll have to fill up 2 or 3 spots during the week before the race.

For this trophy choose, Promotional Day and simply press to complete it. Do that 5 times while keeping the same Sponsor.

  • Get at least 10 Stars for every Rider Skill

    See Specialist .

  • Get the maximum number of Stars for any one of the Rider Skills

During your career, you’ll get the opportunity to do a few things before actually playing a race. You’ll have to fill up 2 or 3 spots during the week before the race. For this trophy you need to choose Training.

Here you will have some skills and some challenges you have to complete, to earn a maximum of 3 stars per challenge. You’ll need to get 10 stars in every skills to unlock Factotum and you’ll also need to get all of the 30 stars in one skill. I found the easiest skill to complete was the Scrubs, but if you can anticipate then the Reflexes is also not that bad.

The main difficulty of these things is that you’ll only have a couple of tries to get the 3 stars and if you fail then you’ll have to wait for another week. You’ll also need to earn 40,000 points and complete 5 face-to-face challenges as well as 5 time attack challenges against other riders, to unlock all the challenges. You probably won’t have 40k points after finishing the career mode, so you’ll have to keep playing this mode until you finally reach 40k points and unlock all challenges.

  • Create a custom start module in the Track Editor

This is an online trophy as you need to be connected online to even access the editor.

See Engineer . Following the tutorial will make you build a custom start module.

  • Complete a Championship with any class in Official Championship mode

From the Main Menu, go to Single Player, Championship and choose an official championship with an official rider. It’s best to choose a 250 championship as they are shorter.

  • Get a Holeshot and victory in the same Main Event in any mode

See It's time for turbo . You need to finish the race for the holeshot to register properly anyway, so if you aim to win all races, you’ll get this trophy while going for your 20 holeshots.

  • Complete a total of at least 100 scrubs

Scrubs are performed while holding either or during a jump. Do that 100 times to unlock the trophy, the scrubs you perform in the training sessions also count.

  • Beat the time of the Ghost of another player in Time Attack mode

You will need an online connection for this trophy.

Head to the solo, Time Attack mode and choose any race. You’ll need to download someone else’s ghost and beat his time. Fortunately, unlike MXGP Pro, this game registers way more than just the top 60 scores, so even if you cannot download a friend’s or alt account’s ghost for some reason, feel free to download the ghost from someone with a really poor time and simply beat it.

  • Complete at least two SX Challenges

You can find the SX Challenges pressing in the main menu. There are a couple of SX challenges and all of them are a bit grindy but 2 of them will come naturally while going for the other trophies. The first one is for winning 1 Million credits which is required for Donald Braaap .
The second one is for driving 500 miles total. While it’s only required to drive 100 miles in the Compound for trophies, grinding to reach Prestige 100 will require driving way more than 500 miles total so you should get this one naturally.

The other challenges involve playing online, beating 30 ghosts or winning career in Realistic which is unnecessary tricky/grindy as these 2 will come naturally anyway.

  • Reach Prestige level 100

This will probably be your last trophy as even after completing everything else, you probably won’t even be at Prestige 50. The best way to grind this is to select the custom track called “Credits Boost SX” and keep doing this one, you’ll get more than 100k points every 3 minutes. You could also create a custom championship and add this race 4 times to get a little bonus when winning the championship, also playing on realistic will net you more points.

  • Win all the Main Events of the Triple Crown events of a 450 Championship in Career mode

    Missable.

During your 450 Career, the Triple Crown events will happen during the 14th race. Win all 3 of these main events to get the trophy. You’ll see it’s the Triple Crown as it’ll be written on screen. If you miss it, you'll have to replay a 450 Season from the start.
