Hi all, here is my Spider-Man: Miles Morales Trophy Guide! If you played Marvel's Spider-Man 2018 then this standalone title will be a familiar revisit to that title. It's a very fun and short platinum where apart from a few trophies that may need some direction, for the most part, the whole game is pretty self explanatory.
You need to playthrough the story twice for the Platinum, but the story is very short, which you should get through (certainly on your second playthrough) pretty quickly. All collectibles, activities and Side Missions are all marked and easily identified on the map, so you should have no issue locating and finding everything.
One last thing as there are no difficulty reated trophies, you can do the whole game on Easy.
Step 1: Play the Story (Can be done on Easy)
I would suggest playing the story first and completing it. The game is short and on easy makes for a fun and quick play through. You can’t attain 100% until you unlock NG+ and play the story again, so you will have to bear that in mind. All collectibles of which some only become available via side missions post game, are required for the Platinum, so get the story out of the way first. You can go for collectibles and side missions etc as they become available during the story, it’s entirely up to you how you play it out and fortunately as with the previous Marvel’s Spider-Man 2018, nothing from a trophy point of view is missable.
Activities like Crimes and Hideouts etc can be replayed if you’re already working through them and might not have collected items or obtained the objectives of a certain activity.
As a side note, remember that the Hideouts & Roxxon Labs also contains one Cache each which are required for 100% completion. I thought they were separate initially, but they are within the hideout.
Step 2: 100% Completion Run
Now comes the fun part! Collectibles and clean up. With the story finished, all collectibles that will allow you to go for the 100% trophy will now be available. As with the previous Spider-Man, all locations of the items/tasks are marked on the map. Note that the world map shows you a checklist of how much you have done in the form of a % in each district and what remaining activities you may have left to finish. See Step 3 below regarding the details on the two trophies regarding the skills and suits needed for 100%.
Step 3: New Game +, Unlock Skills and Miscellaneous Clean Up
The Plus Plus trophy can only be obtained once you have finished the story once. When you are back at the Main Menu, choose a new save slot and press to start. Your current end game progress will carry over and you can continue to clean up remaining trophies and finish the story on your pursuit to Platinum.
Two other trophies that you can only obtain in NG+ are Just The Beginning and Ready For Anything see the guide below for details on these two trophies.
The story specific trophies Like A Rhino In A China Shop and Competitive Spirit should be obtained in thsi playthrough if you missed them first time around to avoid having to play the story missions again. See the guide below for details.
I advise playing on the easiest setting and skipping all skippable cut scenes (pause the game aselect Skip Cinematic) to speed this process up as you will already know how the story pans out. (Feel free to play how you see fit).
As the story is overall pretty short, this won't take you too long. Upon completing this, you should obtain your trophy. Congrats!
