WARNING: [A long-awaited manga debut!] is only obtainable with a Japanese PSN account as the second Terms of Service agreement needed to upload manga to the official website will not load unless you are using a Japanese account no matter where you are. You will instead get a 404 Error that states that the "specified API or data does not exist."
The issue above has been fixed as of 6/27/18 and the platinum can currently be achieved with any account on PS4.
Introduction:
Manga Kakeru isn't so much a game as it is software designed to help people create manga. As one can imagine, the platinum for this title is incredibly easy, and without much artificial grind added to it, the platinum can be achieved in the space of about an hour.
Walkthrough:
Step 0: Getting Started:
Before you begin anything else, you will have to set who your assistant will be as well as decide on your pen name. You will get two trophies right off the bat just from doing this.
Trophies Earned in this Step
- [Hire an assistant]
- [Now you too, teacher]
Step 1: Generating Manga:
The first thing you will want to do is go into the #2 menu and use the manga generator. The goal here is to take all four branches from the first choice here, which lead to the four different genres that you will need to make for the trophy. Nothing else you do within those routes matters at all, so feel free to just button mash your way through most of it to save time. Also, you will want to save at least one of the creations that you make from this so that you can use it as a jumping-off point for the various edit-related trophies.
Trophies Earned in this Step
- [Division of fate]
- [Popular love cartoonist]
- [Major baseball manga]
- [National mystery writer]
- [Family Battle Manga Family]
Step 2: Uncovering a Secret:
You should now take a diversion to unlock [Secret material]. This won't help much with anything, but it is necessary for a trophy, so you may as well do it now. See the trophy for more details.
Trophies Earned in this Step
- [Secret material]
Step 3: Time to Make Manga!:
In this step, you will be accessing one of the files that you saved from Step 1 (go into the #1 menu from the main menu to do so) to obtain all of the edit-related trophies as well as a few other trophies related to saving and uploading your creation. See the given trophies for more details on how to unlock them.
Trophies Earned in this Step
- [The first manga production]
- [The creator of the character]
- [Exquisite serif turning]
- [Give a picture a sound]
- [Powerful one frame]
- [Beautiful Background Art]
- [Emotional expression]
- [Sense of composition]
- [I can not stop running brushes]
- [A long-awaited manga debut!]
Step 4: Speaking of Time...:
For this last step, you will want to save any creation over the course of 30 days for a series of trophies. This can thankfully be achieved through changing the system clock so you do not have to actually log in for 30 days.
Trophies Earned in this Step
- [Manga family life day 3]
- [Manga family life 5th day]
- [Manga family life 1st week]
- [Manga family life 2 weeks]
- [Manga family life 3 weeks]
- [Manga family life 1st month]
Step 5: Cleanup:
Though you should not have missed anything, this step is here by obligation in case you somehow did.
Trophies Earned in this Step
- [Manga · Ca · Cata]
