Welcome to Mahjong World Contest! Mahjong is a board game where you have to match up pairs of tiles until you have eliminated all of the golden tiles. There are 6 progressive halls (stages) which each contains 20 levels that have a 3-Star completion rating. The trophy list for this game is very reasonable as you can near enough complete all of the trophies just by playing through the whole game naturally.

Step 1: Play through and complete the game

You will earn the majority of the trophies by playing through the game normally. There are 6 halls which you have to play through and which unlock progressively. Each contains 20 levels which all have a set of goals to win all 3 stars. By completing the game naturally you will earn:

Phoenix cup
Sakura cup

Step 2: Achieve 3 stars on 30 levels

Unless you are fairly familiar with Mahjong, it is unlikely you will have earned 3 stars on 30 levels at the end of your playthrough, especially if you are new to the whole concept of the game, therefore you will need to go back over some levels to achieve your final trophy.

You will need to complete all 3 goals to earn all 3 stars for each level, therefore going back over the earlier levels is recommended as the time limits and points values are not as demanding. After earning 3 stars on your 30th level, you will unlock:

Champion cup

Complete level 1 with 3 stars
This isn't difficult at all, especially since level 1 is used as the tutorial when you first start the game. You will see your level goals, which each reward one star, at the start of the level. You will get 3 stars just by following the tutorial steps.
V.I.P. chip

Earn 100.000 points
Your points score is on the menu next to your rank on the top left of the screen. It is the running total of all your points you have amassed from completing each level. You will unlock this from playing the game naturally near the end of the second hall, golden crane. However, you can play the same level multiple times and the total will still increase.
Junior's prize

Earn 30 stars
Each level has 3 stars that can be earned by reaching goals. Win 30 stars in total and you'll earn this trophy. You can see how many stars you have in total by looking at the top left of your screen at the menu.
Lotus cup

Complete the blooming lotus hall
Complete all 20 levels in blooming lotus and the trophy will pop. You do not need to win all the stars, you only need to finish the levels.
Crane cup

Complete the golden crane hall
Complete all 20 levels in golden crane and the trophy will pop. You do not need to win all the stars, you only need to finish the levels.
Bamboo cup

Complete the bamboo grove hall
Complete all 20 levels in bamboo grove and the trophy will pop. You do not need to win all the stars, you only need to finish the levels.
Phoenix cup

Complete the red phoenix hall
Complete all 20 levels in red phoenix and the trophy will pop. You do not need to win all the stars, you only need to finish the levels.
Sakura cup

Complete the sakura branch hall
Complete all 20 levels in sakura branch and the trophy will pop. You do not need to win all the stars, you only need to finish the levels.
Dragon cup

Complete the azure dragon hall
Complete all 20 levels in azure dragon and the trophy will pop. You do not need to win all the stars, you only need to finish the levels.
Mahjong tile

Remove 1000 pairs of tiles
This will unlock naturally whilst playing the game. You should reach the 1000 mark when playing through the second hall, golden crane.
Casino chip

Use bonus 50 times
Similarly to the multiplier, your bonus builds up when you match pairs, however it will never go down. It is on the bottom right of the screen, and when it is fully charged, you are able to use it to shuffle all of the cards if you are having trouble finding pairs. You are likely to use 50 bonuses from playing the game naturally, however you can keep spamming them when charged, regardless whether you need to use it or not, to reach 50 uses quicker.
Sprinter cup

Achieve x5 index
Your multiplier is at the top right of the screen. It builds up as you match up pairs quickly, however it goes down as time passes, therefore you have to be fairly fluent with matching all your pairs to reach a 5x multiplier.

You can achieve this on the first level, as all the tiles are laid out nicely as it is used as the tutorial level. By matching all the pairs fairly quickly without taking a noticeable pause, which isn't difficult at all as most cards are parallel to one another, you will hit a 5x multiplier when you are near the end of the level.
Expert diploma

Complete 30 levels with the highest score
To earn this trophy, you will need to earn all 3 stars on 30 levels. Each level has 3 goals which each rewards 1 star. There are a total of 120 levels in the game across the 6 halls, so there are plenty of opportunities to get 3 stars before the more difficult later levels. The trophy will pop after you have completed your 30th level with 3 stars.

There are 4 different goals in the game that vary across each level, which are:
- Remove all golden tiles (awarded for completing the level)
- Complete the level in X amount of moves
- Complete the level in (time limit)
- Earn X amount of points
