Sequel to the popular Mafia II, the latest installment in the Mafia series is set in 1968 in the city of New Bordeaux, a fictional recreation of New Orleans. The story revolves around Lincoln Clay, an orphan and a Vietnam War veteran. This is a tale of betrayal and revenge mixed with racism and politics. Lincoln Clay's friends are brutally murdered and racial tensions are high in the city. The only way to get revenge on the man who left you for dead - Sal Marcano, is by taking over his city piece by piece, one district at a time - and you're gonna need some help of your own. Help your allies and own their loyalty while turning enemies into assets or go solo on a warpath and kill everyone who opposes you, you're free to tailor your methods for revenge.
Step 1: "Flip" playthrough - Flip all Racket Informants and Bosses, divide districts equally between Underbosses
For the first few hours of the game, you'll be learning the ropes and mechanisms, in particular on how to flip (recruit) informants and racket bosses. You'll need to wiretap the area that the racket boss appears in order to flip them. There are 18 racket bosses spread across the main 9 districts, but 2 of them will be killed automatically (Merle Jackson & Chester Moreau). You need to focus on recruiting the remaining 16 racket bosses for The New Boss and their informants for Live Another Day
. Take note that the game does not have any manual saves and there is no way to retract choices that you make.
Glitch: The New Boss is known to glitch where players were not given the option to Flip despite meeting the requirements, or the trophy not unlocking despite Flipping all racket bosses. There are no guaranteed fixes but it is still possible to unlock it by continuing to Flip racket bosses on subsequent playthroughs, although not all 16 are required. It would be wise to keep backup saves.
As you go around conquering districts, remember to grab any cash piles lying around necessary for Cash in Hand , Baby, You're a Rich Man
and later Hole in Your Pocket
.
Later on, after unlocking Cassandra, Vito and Burke as Underbossess, conquering further districts will present you with a choice as to who you'll assign the district to. It is crucial that you assign the 9 districts equally, 3 districts for each Underboss, including their starting district. This will net you the We're In This Together towards the end of the game.
A majority of the trophies are story related and are unlocked naturally as you progress towards the finale. After the finale, continue with completing the side missions for each Underboss working towards maximizing their loyalty to you and any miscellaneous combat/vehicle-related trophies remaining.
The Main Trophies targeted here are:
We're in This Together
Trust
Family
Live Another Day
The New Boss
.45 in My Hand
IRA Don't Ask
I Need a Favor
Step 2 (Optional): "Flip" playthrough - Clean Up
If you somehow missed out on The New Boss and Live Another Day and accidentally killed any Underbosses, start up a new playthrough with the latest patch installed and without deleting any of your saves. Play as per normal and keep recruiting racket bosses. The profile save tracks the total amount of racket bosses you've flipped. You don't have to flip the specific racket boss that you accidentally killed earlier, all that matters is the total count.
Step 3: "Kill" playthrough - Kill everything that stands in your way, assign all districts to one single Underboss
In this playthrough, you'll do the exact opposite of what you needed to do in the "Flip" playthrough. Kill all informants for Can't Trust a Rat and all racket bosses for No Loose Ends
.
Assign all districts to a single Underboss of your liking. After a while, the other two will rise up and rebel against you. You'll have to put them down for the trophy Just You and Me . By the end of the game, your sole surviving Underboss should have enough Earn to give you Big Earner
.
The Main Trophies targeted here are:
Can't Trust a Rat
No Loose Ends
Just You and Me
Big Earner
Step 4: "Kill" playthrough - Clean Up
If you haven't unlocked them already by now, start working on the remaining trophies related to combat, driving and any other miscellaneous trophies.

Introduction:
"Faster, Baby!" is the first DLC pack with trophies for Mafia III. It brings Lincoln to an area called Sinclair Parish, and tasks him with bringing down a racist sheriff. The DLC is really fun and has lots of action & car chases, as well as an interesting side mission where you grow marijuana for lots of profit! In order to access the DLC missions, you need to get past your first Sit-down with your 3 underbosses (Story related, after assigning each underboss a district). Once you have had your first meeting with them, you can find the DLC mission start point by a Blue mission icon in the bottom left of the map.
The trophies are pretty easy, with almost half of them coming from completing the story missions. Of the rest, 3 are related to the marijuana growing side mission which is accessed after completing the story but the remaining trophies are miscellaneous ones. The story will take around 2 hours to finish, and the rest of the time will be used on the marijuana missions to get those done. Also note that the Guide will be mostly spoiler-free so feel free to read ahead and not be spoiled (aside from the spoilers in the trophy descriptions obviously).
GLITCH NOTE:
The Trap Game Strong trophy has been giving people some trophy issues. There is no 100% guaranteed way to fix the glitch but check out this thread: LINK for ways that others have used to unlock the trophy. I personally had no issues unlocking the trophy when I played but if you are having trouble, then please check out the linked thread! Vegetollo7 has noted that deleting the profile save may also fix the glitches as well (Originally discovered by Throw7).

Introduction:
"Sign of the Times" is the third and most likely final DLC pack with trophies for Mafia III. The story features Lincoln and Father James, wanting to get solace and closure over Sammy's death by visiting the old bar but they find out that a deranged cult have been worshipping them and thus embark on a quest to wipe them out. The gameplay is a bit similar to the recent Batman games, where you investigate crime scenes to determine what happened to the cult members.
In order to access the DLC missions, you need to get past your first Sit-down with your 3 underbosses (Story related, after assigning each underboss a district). Once you’ve had your first meeting with them, you can find the DLC mission start point by a Purple marker on the map in Father James' church. The trophies are really easy this time. 7 of them come from completing the story missions and during the one side mission afterwards. The rest are miscellaneous ones involving kills with specific weapons/abilities and one for travelling 50km in a new vehicle. Also note that the guide will be mostly spoiler-free, so feel free to read ahead and not be spoiled (aside from the spoilers in the trophy descriptions obviously).
