Introduction:
Loadout is a Free-to-Play game that was released in December 2014 on the PS4, after a PC release earlier that year. The game is a third person shooter mainly based around PvP, which a large focus on gun customisation and leveling. All gameplay affecting items can be earned/purchased/leveled using the in game currency (which you gets far more than necessary), paid currency is used in place of this if you want or to buy cosmetics (not necessary for trophies).
The trophy list is fairly typical Free-to-Play fare, where you have to play the game for 100 hours total, which is far longer than is required to earn anything else and just an arbitrary requirement for a trophy. Thankfully, the game is very easy to idle and there are some very beneficial glitches that make the other parts of it easier.
The game as a whole is pretty dead and the devs have stated they barely make enough money off it to keep the servers running. There is no worry of being banned from the game at this point for boosting/idling like would have back right when it came out. You will normally find a few PvP matches up at a time (with spaces being filled out with bots) and a handful of people trying to do the Proving Ground missions.
Walkthrough:
This walkthrough is written from the perspective of playing the game in it's current state, idling the online time and giving yourself the easiest time possible in the PvE. If you for whatever reason don’t want to idle the game then your only real difference step wise is just actively playing the online.
Step 1: Idling Level 20 + Crafting Weapons for PvE Use
Your first step will just to be to start playing the game normally for about 2 hours. The game will lead you through a small tutorial where it goes over gameplay and weapon crafting, then let you do whatever. At this point you should play the game right before a time period where you're able to leave it idle so you can make use of the in game glitch to level quickly (detailed under Level 20 ).
In this step you will earn:
Level 5
Level 10
Level 15
Level 20
Mass Murder
This is my rifle...
Certificate of Participation
Step 2: Proving Ground Matches and more leveling
Next step once you hit level 20 and have started upgrading your weapons will be to work on the Proving Ground missions. You can do early ones with basically whatever weapons but it's easier the better weapons you have so it would be wise to keep working on idling for more parts as you can, especially for the ones in the last couple sets.
In this step you will earn:
Broken In
Call to Action
Intermission
Semi-Pro
Crate Expectations
Step 3: Finish Idling 100 hours
Once you have finished 50 Proving Ground matches, all you will have is idling out the rest of the time for Seasoned Vet (if you hadn't already done so).
In this step you will earn:
Seasoned Vet
