Introduction
Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust is the latest game of a long running series. The game has open-world sand-box gameplay which includes exploration, racing, puzzle-solving and much more. The game is more directed to the male adult audience with its suggested themes/attractive women etc.

This game sees the main character visit a family member to a film studio where you will have to do missions and find out what is going on. This game is all offline and therefore has no online mode.

The trophies related to this game are very easy. There are trophies for the main story, trophies for extra side related missions and some for collecting items scattered throughout the studio.

Step 1: Story Mode
The story mode in this game is very short and very easy. There are 3 dreamscapes which hold the main story missions aswell as certain mission’s in-between the dreamscapes. The missions total 41 overall but this number does not include any side missions such as the seductive games.

The quickest way to the platinum would be for you to complete the game in one playthrough. this is affected by one trophy called 'speed' which requires you to complete the game in under 8 hours. Because of this I would only concentrate on the main story missions whilst playing. If you do this then you will be able to complete the game in 5-6 hours.

You will only want to do the non story related trophies after the game because it could affect your time played thus putting you over the 8 hour limit. Luckily there are no trophies that glitch so you will have no trouble obtaining them.

Step 2: Second Playthrough (If Needed)
This playthrough will be needed if you decided not to go for the ‘Speed’ trophy in the first playthrough. Hopefully this time you will have good knowledge of all the controls and will also have remembered some of the missions. If you do have knowledge then you will be able to do each mission quicker than before which will give you more of a chance to get under the 8 hour time limit. If you need any more help then just search YouTube because some walkthroughs of missions can be found on there.

Step 3: Missable Trophies
This is merely a warning to say there are 4 missable trophies in the game. The four trophies are:

Larry Scores –This trophy needs to be done within the shuffleboard mission near the end of the Bytanic dreamscape. The best way to get a lot of points is going for the bull’s-eye from the beginning of the game. The game auto-saves before this mission so if you don’t get this first time just reload that auto-save.

Three Bulls – This trophy needs to be done within the shuffleboard mission near the end of the Bytanic dreamscape. The game will auto-save right before this mission so if you don’t succeed then just reload that auto-save.

Suits you Sir –You can get this in the last mission within the game directly after you have completed the Bytanic director’s game. This mission has a timer so this will help you spot when your on it. As soon as the timer starts go to the costume shop and change into all 6 costumes.

Speed – Complete the game in under 8 hours. Stick to the main story missions and you will be fine. If you take too long on a mission or die too many times just load an old save and retry the mission again.

Step 4: Extra Trophies
By now you will have collected all story related trophies and hopefully the missable ones. The extra trophies are related to races/side missions/collectibles etc. They can be collected during story mode or after you have completed the story.

I would strongly suggest doing all the side missions and collecting the awards after the story because this will reduce the risk of you missing out on the ‘speed’ trophy.

A Fistful of Larrys

Complete the game’s Wild West Dreamscape
Story related so it cannot be missed: I think the final mission on this is when you have to defeat the boss at the ranch.
Chamone

Complete the game’s Horror Dreamscape
Story related so it cannot be missed: The last mission is where you have to defeat the boss. After you have defeated the boss you will be required to move some statues onto some pressure pads to lower the chandeliers. Then just climb onto these chandeliers to reach the ladder to escape the room.
The Ship of Dreams

Complete the game’s Bytanic Dreamscape
Story related so it cannot be missed: The last mission here is where you have to climb up the ship to reach Lily.
The End

Complete all the game’s the main story missions
Obviously story related so it cannot be missed. The last mission is where you have to deal with the so called ‘mole’ where you have to fight security guards and turn the fireworks.
Cupid Sniper

Complete the Larry Get Your Gun mission
This trophy is story related: You will gain this trophy near the end of the Wild West Dreamscape. It is the mission where you have to shoot horses and women with the love rifle. Just try to hit as many as you can to rack up more points and you should pass it with no problems.
Dead Beat

Complete the Army of the Dead mission
This trophy is story related: You will gain this trophy somewhere within the Horror Dreamscape. It is the mission where you have to run around the graveyard hitting zombies with you shovel.

TIP: Try to find power-ups that randomly appear. They make your shovel more powerful, stop the zombies for a few seconds and one even blows them to smithereens!
Shuffle the Deck

Complete the Shuffleboard mission
This trophy is story related: This mission is located at the end of the Bytanic Dreamscape. It is the mission where you have to try and score points on the bull’s-eye.

NOTE: This is the mission with two Missable trophies, see Larry Scores & Three Bulls.
Larry Scores

Achieve a total score of 2800 on Shuffleboard
THIS IS MISSABLE!! The shuffleboard mission is located at the end of the Bytanic dreamscape. The best way to get a lot of points is going for the bull’s-eye from the beginning of the game.

Networking Socialite

Meet every principle character in the game
This trophy is story related: This trophy is received with the first couple of missions. You will meet someone in the theatre to get this trophy.

Collect a total of 10 Larry Awards
See Best Actor.
Best Supporting Actor

Collect a total of 50 Larry Awards
See Best Actor.

There are 100 Larry awards located all around the studio. They are well hidden inside buildings, on top of buildings and some are just scatter on the floor. Gymnastic Larry

Perform 3 consecutive wall jumps
This trophy can be unlocked whilst playing in the Wild West Dreamscape. It isn’t missable because you need to wall jump 3 times to progress any further.

You will do this when you are on the horse and cart & the road becomes blocked with two wagons, just jump up to the left until you reach gap in two walls, double jump onto one wall so Larry hugs it then hit to fly across and hug the second wall, keep doing this until you reach the top and it will unlock
Well Hung

Perform 3 consecutive ledge jumps
This trophy is unlocked whilst playing the Wild West Dreamscape. Once again it is not missable because you need to do this several times to progress throughout. The place to get this is when you have to climb to the top of the saloon to peek through the window.

There is a box on the floor near the furthest ledge, jump on that and then double jump up to reach the first ledge. Shimmy to the end of this and then when Larry can’t go any further press to jump to the next ledge. Just keep jumping ledges until you reach the balcony.
Fashionista Award

Accumulate a wardrobe of 6 outfits
This trophy is story related: When you have completed the Bytanic dreamscape director’s game, you will return to the studios and automatically unlock this.
Broadcasting on Top of the world

Reach the highest point in Laffer Studio
To obtain this trophy you will have to climb to the top of the broadcasting tower next to the power station. Here is a good video on how to do this correctly:

Old Silver Tongue Award

Complete 4 Director Games successfully
All four of these are story related so cannot be missed:

1) This one is at the beginning of the game where you meet the director for the first time (I think).
2) You will attempt this after finishing the Wild West dreamscape.
3) You will attempt this after finishing the Horror dreamscape.
4) You will attempt this after finishing the Bytanic dreamscape.

To get the best score possible you have to select the correct camera screen which best goes with the filming to button to change the camera shot is located underneath each screen, this will be either be , , ,

They are not very hard to succeed in but just in case you don't I would recommend quickly reloading an auto-save if you don't think it is good enough, about 15,000 should do but I'm not to sure. However, I have read that you can replay each game from within the editing suite.
Hot Foot Award

Travel 100 miles on foot
This trophy requires you to walk or run in the game for a total of 100 miles. You can check how many miles you have ran by pressing start and going to statistics.

Hopefully by the time you have completed the story you will have accumulated at least 50-70 miles. I would then suggest trying to gain more miles when collecting the awards see ‘Best Actor’ for more details.

This can be achieved after finishing the story!
Road Tripping

Drive 400 miles
This is the same as the Hot Foot Award but requires you to drive in a car for 400 miles throughout the game.
Three Bulls

3 consecutive Bulls-eyes in the Shuffleboard mini-game.
THIS IS MISSABLE! This trophy needs to be done within the shuffleboard mission near the end of the Bytanic dreamscape. The game will auto-save right before this mission so if you don’t succeed then just reload that auto-save.

It is not that hard but requires a tiny bit of luck. When pulling the stick back try to get it to about Larry’s knee before pushing it forward.
Car Surfin'

Stand 50 seconds on the roof of a moving car
Not a hard trophy to get. Just find someone driving a car and jump on top of it onto the roof. Just stay standing here until the trophy pops up.
Mr Lover-man

Complete all seduction games
These are located on the first floor of the executive building and are shown on the map as a red circle. When you start each mission it gives you a location of a girl to go find, just go to the location and talk to the girl. She then asks you to get an item for her and bring it back. Once you have done this she will ask you some questions and you will have to answer using the , , , buttons. You are allowed to get the questions wrong because she just keeps asking you until you get them right. I think there are 7 in total.
Carjacker

‘Hijack’ 50 vehicles

This trophy only requires you to get in a car that someone is already driving.

TIP: Just keep getting in and out of the same car 50 times and you will get this within 5 minutes.
Pedal to the Metal

Complete all Races
I think there 9 races in total to complete, 3 located within the main studio and 2 within each backlot. All you have to do is reach the checkpoints within the time limit.

The races you are yet to complete are shown on the map as purple circles, the ones you have completed are shown on the map as a purple circle with a quarter coloured green.
Demolition Boy

Destroy three vehicles within 60 seconds of each other

This trophy can be tricky if not done correctly.

There is normally a car near your trailer so I recommend getting in that and driving to the Wild West backlot car park. This is the best place because there are two other cars in here that are parked up.

Now all you have to do is keep ramming each car into the wall alternatively until they all have black smoke coming out of them (not the white smoke). When each car is at this stage line them up facing the wall. Now keep ramming one until it catches fire, get out and climb into the next one until that to catches fire, do this for the final one. They normally only take 5 seconds to blow up once the have caught fire.

PLEASE NOTE: Some people have said the cars disappear if you don’t get into it for a while so remember to keep alternating between the 3!
Le Manns

Drive in vehicles for a total of 3 hours while playing the game
This should come automatically without you knowing it. You will rack up the minutes when completing the game, when completing all races see Pedal to the Metal and when trying to reach the 400 miles for that trophy see Road Tripping.

Another way someone said do it is by sitting in the car and leaving your playstation on for however long it takes.
Speed

Complete the game in under 8 hours

THIS IS MISSABLE! You can get this trophy in the first playthrough like I did. All you have to do is be quick on the missions and load an auto-save if you keep dying or take to long on anything particular.

Here is a list of things I would leave until you have finished the story:

1) Collecting all Larry awards
2) Finishing all races
3) Completing all seduction games
4) Running/walking 100 miles
5) Driving 400 miles
6) Standing on a car roof for 50 seconds (doesn’t really make a difference this one)
7) Hijack 50 vehicles
8) Destroy 3 cars within 60 seconds of each other
9) Drive in vehicles for a total of 3 hours
Suits you Sir

Use all unlockable costumes during the same mission

THIS IS MISSABLE! There is only one mission you can get this trophy in so please be aware! This is the last mission within the game after you have completed the Bytanic director’s game. This mission has a timer on it just so you know when you’re on it. As soon as the timer starts go to the costume shop and change into all 6 costumes.

You may want to reload the mission after this because the timer would have gone down quite a lot.
Rookie Award

Complete the game's first Mission
This trophy is story related: This is the very first mission in the game. Just follow the on-screen instructions to clear the graffiti off of the walls.
