Introduction: Welcome to Lego Indy 2. As if the Lego spawn of video games wasn’t oversaturated as it is, they’ve decided to throw another one into the mix, a sequel no less. If you are keen on the Lego formula, then you’re sure to find some pleasure in this game. What you will not find is innovation. Nevertheless, the game is fun for what it is and the cornball humor is mostly enjoyable. While this game is very easy, especially with the aid of cheats (listed at the end of the guide), it is plagued with some very frustrating glitches, which can extend the playtime of this game well beyond its prime. So, if you’re looking for a short painless platinum, look elsewhere. However, if you are a fan of the Lego franchise or have some kids that are Lego enthusiasts, then stick around.
Warning: Glitched Trophies. There are three trophies that are causing a ton of frustration for people trying to get the platinum. They are “You choose the wrong friends.”, “Not as easy as it used to be.” and “No defiant last words Dr. Jones?”. Fortunately, there seems to be solid working work-arounds for these glitches. See those various trophies’ mini-guides for more details.
Step 1: Complete all the story mode hubs to 100%. See the “No defiant last words Dr. Jones?” trophy for details on what is required to get 100%. You will have all of the trophies from the “Main Story Hub Trophies” section of this guide, when you finish this step. Along the way, you can easily be knocking out the vast majority the secret trophies. You should look at those and glance at their descriptions to give you an idea of how to save time. Also, as mentioned in the overview above, you can use cheats in this game. I recommend using all the red and blue cheats, as soon as possible. To enter or enable cheats, simply enter the cheat menu in the pause screen. I've put the cheat codes at the end of the guide. Once you've entered a code, that cheat is saved to your gamesave and is always available thereafter. If you enable the cheat, it will remain active for the duration of your gaming session. However, you will have to re-enable cheats everytime you boot up the game anew. The red cheats give you stud multipliers and will make getting "True Adventurer" a cinch. The blue ones will make you pretty much invulnerable. The green ones don't really do anything except change the appearance of some characters or items. I do not recommend using the character cheats because you still need to unlock the characters in game in order to get the 100% trophy and unlocking a character via a cheat can cause confusion.
Step 2: Complete the Creator hub to 100%. In getting 100% for the creator hub, you will most likely get one, maybe two, of the trophies listed in the “Creator Hub Trophies” portion of this guide.
Step 3: Get the remaining Creator hub trophies. Just go to the “Creator Hub Trophies” portion of this guide and knock out these simple trophies.
Step 4: Mop up. If you missed any of the trophies or if you had some trophies glitch on you (like they did me ), then clean them up now.
