Introduction:

When Meredith's parents take a vacation out of state, she's asked to return to her hometown of Providence Oaks to fill in for her dad at the local Post Office. She'll spend two weeks delivering the mail while becoming reacquainted with friends and townsfolk she hasn't seen in over 20 years. After plans with her parents change, she's left with the decision to either return to her home and high-paying job in the city or to stay in Providence Oaks and continue running the mail route.

Fast Travel/Autopilot: While you can complete the game by driving to each location yourself, it can make the game a bit time-consuming (not that bad but just a tad). The game does include a Fast Travel and Autopilot system to speed up the game should you wish to use it. Any orange map icon (except for the orange "!" quest markers) can be fast traveled to, skipping the entire drive to the location. You can autopilot to any white map icon, markers you place down or orange "!" quest markers so you don't have to drive to the location yourself. You can speed up your walking speed by holding r2.png but it only speeds up your walking speed a little bit, nothing too dramatic.

Walkthrough:

Step 1: Play through the game

With all but one trophy being missable, you'll want to read through each of the trophy descriptions to see what you need to look out for during each workday. When you're at work, you'll be in a sort of freeplay mode and will be able to roam around as needed but as soon as each workday ends, you won't be able to travel around anymore. The last workday will be September 13th and when it ends, you'll go through a rather lengthy ending sequence that you can't skip (both the scenes and the dialogue). Before you return to the Post Office at the end of this day, make a manual save within the game (you won't have to back it up to the cloud, a manual save within the game will work just fine). This will be the save that you'll reload to get all of the endings. Make sure you check Free Spirit trophy_gold.png so you know how to get the RV since it requires quite a few steps to actually get.

After this step, you'll earn the following trophies (in the order they'll unlock in except for the ending trophies which may vary depending on what order you do them in):

Good Morning trophy_gold.png
Higher Ground trophy_gold.png
Cat Lover trophy_gold.png
Metal Detector trophy_gold.png
Tower Watcher trophy_gold.png

Secret trophies

  • Go back to the big city

    MISSABLE

This is one of 3 endings available in the game. You can get all 3 on the same playthrough so long as you make a manual save to reload. You'll want to save at the end of the workday (before you return to the Post Office) on September 13th. You'll need to replay through that night, Sunday and Monday each time you reload it and you won't be able to skip any of the dialogue or cutscenes. It'll take some time for each ending but it's better than playing through the entire game 3 times.

At the start of your final day in Providence Oaks (after the Open Mic night), you'll discuss your plans with Frank at the Post Office. He'll ask you if you've decided whether or not you're staying. Let him know you've decided to leave Providence Oaks and when he asks you where you'll go, select "back to home...". Choose any options when talking to Lori about the RV and when Frank pulls you over, reconfirm to him that you've made up your mind and are leaving Providence Oaks. When you're back on the road and the credits start to roll, the trophy will unlock.

  • Stay in Providence Oaks

    MISSABLE

You'll want to save at the end of the workday (before you return to the Post Office) on September 13th. He'll ask you if you've decided whether or not you're staying. Let him know you've decided to stay in Providence Oaks ("and yes, I want to wear it a bit longer...). When Frank pulls you over, reconfirm to him that you've decided to stay in Providence Oaks. Choose any options after that and when you're back on the road (either alone or with Robert) and the credits start to roll, the trophy will unlock.

  • Leave in the RV

    MISSABLE

This is one of 3 endings available in the game. You can get all 3 on the same playthrough so long as you make a manual save to reload. You'll want to make a manual save at the end of the workday (before you return to the Post Office) on September 13th. You'll need to replay through that night, Sunday and Monday each time you reload it and you won't be able to skip any of the dialogue or cutscenes (unfortunately). It'll take some time for each ending but it's better than playing through the entire game 3 times.

Before you can get this ending, you'll need to get the RV. On September 6th, you'll need to deliver a letter to the Campgrounds and will meet Mickey and June, a few campers with an RV. On September 8th, you'll deliver another letter to them and June will tell you that they're moving to Canada while inviting you to hang out later in the week. Agree to hang out, then after the workday on September 10th, you'll go back to the Campsite and hang out with Mickey and June. They'll offer to give you the RV since they don't need it anymore. Agree to take it and they'll leave it at the gas station for you. When you go to pick it up, Lori will gush over the chance to do some work on it and ask for your permission to do so. Agree to let her do the work and at the open mic night, she'll tell you it's all ready to go.

On the morning of September 14th, you'll talk with Frank at the Post Office and he'll ask you if you've decided whether or not you're going to stay in Providence Oaks or leave. Tell him you're going to leave and when he asks you what your plans are, tell him you're going on a road trip. When Robert pulls you over as you're leaving, tell him you've already made up your mind and are leaving P.O. The trophy will unlock once you're back on the road and the credits start to roll.
  • Help Mildred by taking Mortimer to Burt

    MISSABLE

You'll meet Mildred or Miss Jenkins, on September 2nd. On September 3rd, you'll return to her house to deliver a letter and when you do, she'll tell you that her cat, Mortimer, is dreadfully sick. When she asks you to take Mortimer to Burt, agree to help (if you don't tell her yes, you'll be blocked out of this trophy). With Mortimer in tow, make your way to the Northeastern side of the lake to find Burt (Mr. Mackey).

He'll be on the dock behind the shop. Give him Mortimer and he'll do what he can to help the poor feline. On the next day (September 4th), make your way back to the Dock (there will be an orange "!" on the map) and pick up Mortimer. Exhaust the dialogue with Burt, then head back to Mildred's house (when you have Mortimer, her house will be marked with an orange "!" on the map). Give her Mortimer and exhaust the dialogue and when you're done, the trophy will unlock.
  • Help Angie by delivering the moviebox

    MISSABLE

You'll be introduced to The Flick Shack (and Angie) on September 3rd when you have to deliver a box there. As you're talking to her, she'll give you the movie "The Postman Always Knocks Twice". At the end of the workday, when you have to decide if you want to read a book or watch something on the TV, choose to watch the movie. The next day on September 4th, you'll return to the Flick Shack to deliver another box. You and Angie will discuss movies and eventually, she'll tell you about an idea she has and asks you to meet her later that day. Agree to meet with her and when you end the workday, you'll meet up with her. She'll tell you that she wants to start a movie delivery service for the town and ask you to help with the actual deliveries. Agree to help her and starting on September 5th, you'll need to deliver movie boxes to the citizens around town. The first will be Lori at the gas station, then on the 6th you'll need to pick the movie box back up. Make your way back to the Flick Shack to pick up the next movie, then drop the movie box off to Burt at the Dock (choose any movie for him). On September 8th, pick up the movie box from Burt and return it to the Flick Shack. Exhaust the dialogue with Angie (you can choose to decline or accept the date offer, there's no trophy consequence either way) and when you're done, the trophy will unlock.
  • Help Steve out both times

    MISSABLE

After the workday on September 3rd, you'll get a call from Steve, your boss at your job back home. After a short conversation, he'll ask you to help him with some files. Agree to help him and he'll mail out the box of papers. After the workday on September 4th, your Dad will call you. After the conversation, you'll have to decide how to spend your night. The box of files will have arrived at this point so choose "Work on the Addit '87 material".

On the night of September 7th, Steve will call you again and talk to you about the monster deal he just made and ask you for another favor. Offer to help him out and after the workday on September 8th, when you have to choose how to spend your night, choose to review the contracts for Steve. When the workday on September 9th starts, the trophy will unlock.

  • Help Nancy by testing the photo camera

    MISSABLE

On September 5th, you'll deliver a box to the convenience store in town. When you talk with Nancy, she'll tell you that they're opening up a photo-developing station and ask for your help in taking some pictures. Agree to take the pictures and when the conversation is done, you'll have until September 10th to take 12 photos with the camera. Press triangle.png to equip the camera, then cross.png to take a photo.

You'll receive the camera from Nancy on the morning of September 5th. You just need to take 12 photos with it before returning it to Nancy on September 10th. You'll need to deliver a box to Nancy on the 10th at which point she'll ask you about the camera and how the photos are coming along. Tell her your quest is complete and you'll return the camera. On September 13th, you'll return to the store to deliver a box. When you talk to Nancy, she'll give you back your developed photos. Exhaust the rest of the dialogue and the trophy will unlock.
  • Reach the hill with the church

    MISSABLE

You can earn this at any time before you finish the workday on September 13. While driving the mail truck, you need to make your way to the Church:

Just drive up to the front of the Church and you "reminisce" about the building. When you do, the trophy will unlock.
  • Climb the watchtower

    MISSABLE

At the end of the workday on September 6th, Kay will leave you a voicemail inviting you to hang out at the watchtower the next day (September 7th). Agree to meet with her and you'll automatically find yourself at the watchtower the next morning. Exhaust all of the dialogue and the watchtower will now be marked on your map.

Revisit the watchtower at any point before the end of the workday on September 13th and climb up to the top of it to unlock the trophy.
  • Talk to Andy the detectorist

    Missable

On September 5th, you'll need to deliver a box to Reynolds Farm. While you're at the Farm, look into the surrounding fields and there will be a man walking around with a metal detector.

Talk to the man (Andy) and exhaust the conversation. When it's done, the trophy will unlock. If you miss him on this day, he'll also be roaming on the side of the road near the Hotel on September 13th (you'll need to deliver a box here).
  • Start Your First Day

    Story Related, can't be missed

This will unlock as soon as the intro has finished. You can skip this if you want by hitting options and selecting "Skip Intro". If you skip it, the game will fast forward to September 2nd.
