Introduction

Just Dance is back with over 40 new songs for you to dance the night away to. Just like its predecessor, it combines a lot of hard work and dedication to collect all of the trophies.

Step 1: Just Dance
Play through all of the songs. This step will most likely get you several trophies and get you accustomed to the game. Play through them as many times as you want, have fun, and learn all you can about the dance moves on the songs. You will need it. This will also give you a ton of Mojo which you'll need to unlock the different Dance mode and bonus song choreographies. Play through these as well during this step. It will give you a feel for the game and a little more practice.

More than likely you will have the following after this step:

First Dance
3 Star Performance
Highway to the Stars
5 Star Performance
Rising Star
Golden!
Solid Gold Baby!
Perfect Finish
Streaker!
Reflection of Perfection
On A Quest
Superstar!
Wheel of Gifts

Step 2: Unlockable Song Modes
After playing through the songs once, you should have plenty of Mojo to have unlocked most, if not all of the Alternate Dance Routines, Battles, and Mash-ups. Scroll through the list and find all of the trophies related to those modes and work your way through them.

You should have the following after this step:

Mixing it up
Winning!
Epic Winning!
New Sheriff in Town
Rickroll'd

Step 3: Sweat Class
Sweat Class is up next. Start up the sweat classes and play through each of the sessions and time modes. Keep playing this until you burn 2,000 calories to unlock everything this mode has to offer.

After this step you should have:

Just Sweatin'
I Work Out
Bring it on!
Spartan
Getting Warmed Up
Feel the Burn
Burn Baby Burn!
The Complete Package

Step 4: Miscellaneous Trophies
You don't necessarily have to aim for these trophies this late on, because many of them can be done from the beginning. If you don't have them yet though, then now is the time to unlock them. There are several miscellaneous trophies which mostly involve playing a certain song with friends or by yourself.

Use this as your last chance to go through some of the songs to prepare yourself for the next step.

After this step you should have:

There's No I in Dance
In-Sync
Dynamic Duo
Stuck on Replay
Blind Ambition
Baby is in the Corner
Dancing Friends!
Let's do the Timewarp Again

Step 5: Just Dance Mastery
Now is where your dance skills are put to the test. You should have played all of the songs a few times, so now is the time to master them. You have to get five stars on every song as well as 100% Good or Perfect moves in at least 5 of them. Practice all of them and choose the ones you feel the most comfortable with and play them over and over until you hit the necessary criteria on them.

After this, you should have:

Looking Good
You Got the Moves!
Megastar!

And finally...

Just Dance Master

  • Obtain All Other Trophies

Congrats! You finished everything in the game!

  • Complete your First Song

Simply play a song. This is a very simple trophy that is virtually impossible to miss.

  • Get 3 Stars on a Song

    See Megastar!

  • Get 3 Stars on 5 Songs

Simply play a song and get 3 stars on it, simple as that. Choose an easy song such as one which has a white square next to it under the difficulty setting to make this trophy easier.

  • Get 5 Stars on a Song

    See Megastar!

  • Get 5 Stars on 5 Songs

    See Megastar!

  • Perform all Gold Moves in a Song

    See Solid Gold Baby!

  • Perform all Gold Moves in 5 Songs

The gold moves are special bonus moves. If you nail the move, you will get a nice boost to your score and a “YEAH!” icon that pops up next to your avatar character. Hit all of these moves in one song and after the last one, you should get your trophy.

  • Perform only Good Moves or better in a Song

    See You got the Moves!

  • Perform only Good Moves or better in 5 Songs

This is by far one of the hardest trophies in the game. The goal is to play a song almost perfectly. You must get all of the moves in either the blue (Good) ranking or green (Perfect ranking.) If you get an OK or X ranking in a song, pay close attention to why. Sometimes you may be holding the control incorrectly, or not be following the character's exact moves. I highly recommend either choosing songs that you like, or choosing the easier ones and mastering these.

Please note that there is no way to track the songs which you have done this on in-game, so I suggest keeping a record of this yourself.

A few songs I would recommend trying are
Beware of the Boys - Panjabi MC
What Makes You Beautiful - One Direction
Everybody Needs Somebody to Love - Blues Bros.

  • Get a Perfect on the Last Move of a Song

This should come naturally as you play through the game. Just hit the very last move of a song and get the green (Perfect) rating and the trophy will pop before you see your results.

  • Get 10 Perfect Moves in a row in any song

This should come naturally as you play through the game. Pick an easier song like the one by One Direction and shoot for 10 Perfects in a row.

  • Complete a Song with 80% or more Perfect Moves

This goes along the same lines as You got the Moves!, but you will need to get an almost perfect run on a song. Although this sounds tricky, it's very likely that you'll get this whilst working towards the Megastar! trophy.

  • In any Dance Crew Song, All four Players Get 3 Stars or better (Four Coaches)

    See In-Sync

  • In any Dance Crew Song, All Four Players Get 5 Stars (Four Coaches)

The Dance Crew songs are the songs that have four characters on the screen. For this trophy, you will need four Move Controllers and a few friends. You will need to play a Dance Crew song with a controller assigned to each person and all four players will need to earn 5 stars. The easiest one I found was the One Direction song.

  • Finish a Duet with 2 players getting 5 Stars on both Choreographies

Duets are any song with two characters dancing instead of one. Simply find a friend and have both of you dance to the song and earn 5 stars. There are several pretty easy ones to get this one, but I found Rock Lobster to be the most fun.

  • Get 5 Stars on any Mash-Up

To unlock a Mash-up of a song you will need to earn Mojo. You earn Mojo by completing songs and their respective Dance Quests. Also, the higher star rating you get at the end of the song, the more Mojo you will get. Once you get a certain amount of Mojo, you will level up, allowing you to choose a random gift from the Wheel of Gifts. After you unlock a Mash-Up, dance to it, and get 5 stars.

  • Complete 5 Dance Quests

Dance Quests are a new addition to Just Dance. Each song has its own list of accomplishments that can be completed for extra Mojo. To see the list of requirements, highlight the song and press . Most of them are pretty straightforward and consist of getting a Good ranking or better on a certain part in a song or simply earning 3, 4, or 5 stars. Complete 5 Dance Quests on any of the songs and you will unlock. this trophy. You do not need to complete all of the quests on the same song, so you can mix it up if you're struggling with one in particular.

  • Get 3 Stars on All Songs (No Alternate Versions, Mash-Ups or Battles)

    See Megastar!

  • Get 5 Stars on All Songs (No Alternate Versions, Mash-Ups or Battles)

For this trophy you will not only have to play all of the songs, but you'll will need to get very good at each of them as well. Getting 5 stars on every song is no easy task, so be prepared to put a lot of practice in for this one. Here are a few tips to help out:

    - Pay close attention to the choreography. Sometimes you may think you are doing the right moves but in reality, the characters hand is turned a certain direction that you are not following. Study the moves you miss and see what they are doing, and try to mimic it as closely as possible.

    - Practice the songs. The more you play a song, the more you will learn when certain parts come in and will be better prepared for the transitions.

    - Keep a look out for how you are holding your controller. The controller seems to be very sensitive in how it is turned, and this can play a big role in how well you do in a song. If you see you are missing some moves you don’t think you should be, check to make sure that the controller hasn’t accidentally been moved into a different position. A technique I like to use is to hold the trigger button down. This keeps your hand in the right position and allows you to keep a firm grip on the controller.

    - Recalibrate the controller after every 3-4 songs. Sometimes the controller loses its accuracy and may not detect certain moves. To access the calibration option, simply press in any menu.

    - Lastly, have fun! Most of the time, simply enjoying the game will help you get into the songs and nail moves you normally couldn’t.

  • Win a Battle

The Battles are also a new addition to Just Dance. Two dancers from two different songs are pitted against each other to see who the better of the two is. Follow your character, and if you do better on a move than your opponent, they will take damage. The one with the most damage inflicted at the end of time wins the round.

You unlock the Battles by collecting Mojo. You earn Mojo by completing songs and their respective Dance Quests. Also, the higher star rating you get at the end of the song, the more Mojo you will get. Once you get a certain amount of Mojo, you will level up, allowing you to choose a random gift from the Wheel of Gifts.

    The Battles are:
Rock N Roll Vs. Livin La Vida Loca
Super Bass Vs. Love You Like a Love Song
Beauty and a Beat Vs Call Me Maybe
    Tribal Dance Vs. Rock Lobster
Moves Like Jagger Vs. Never Gonna Give You Up

When you unlock a battle, play it, and do better than the other dancer. This can be boosted with two controllers if necessary.

  • Win each Battle Once

After you unlock each battle, play all of them and win each one. These can be boosted with two controllers.

  • Unlock an Item from the Wheel of Gifts

The wheel of gifts is where you select your rewards for leveling up with Mojo. You earn Mojo by completing songs and their respective Dance Quests. Also, the higher star rating you get at the end of the song, the more Mojo you will get. Once you get a certain amount of Mojo, you will level up, allowing you to choose a random gift from the Wheel of Gifts. Level up once and choose a prize for this trophy.

  • Complete a Sweat Class

Sweat Classes are accessed by choosing Just Sweat on the Main Menu. There are 5 classes to choose from. You will have to play all of them anyway to unlock a few more trophies, so pick one and finish it under any time setting to unlock this trophy.

  • Complete a full 10 Minute Sweat Class

    See Spartan

  • Complete a full 25 Minute Sweat Class

    See Spartan

  • Complete a full 45 Minute Sweat Class

Once you select your sweat class type, you will be asked to choose the length of the class that you wish to participate in. Please note that the time class trophies DO NOT stack, so you will need to finish all three of them.

  • Burn 500 Calories in Sweat Mode

    See Burn Baby Burn!

  • Burn 1000 Calories in Sweat Mode

    See Burn Baby Burn!

  • Burn 2000 Calories in Sweat Mode

To burn calories in sweat mode, you simply need to participate in the class. 2,000 calories is a fairly high number, so you will need to keep playing the classes over and over again. One way to help speed things up is to take note of the intensity of your dancing. The harder you swing the Move controler, the higher the intensity reading, which translates to more calories burned. Do note however that you won't burn as many calroies if you only receive an OK rating, so try your best to earn Good or Perfect ones. This trophy is cumulative providing you have your dancer card set up, so just keep pushing through the classes and you should get these trophies eventually.

  • Complete at least one Class from each of the 5 Sweat Programs

To get this trophy, play through all five of the classes. It doesn't matter which time you choose, so you can choose the 10 minute classes to unlock the trophy faster.

    The Classes are:
    Aerobics in Space
    Sweat around the World
    Electro Body Combat
    Cheerleaders Boot Camp
    Swinging 60's Workout.

  • Dance to the Same song 3 times in a row

Just like the description says, just select the same song three times in a row for this trophy. If you want to kill two birds with one stone, you can dance to Time Warp three times. This will net you both this trophy and Let's do the Timewarp Again.

  • Get 5 Stars on a Song with Pictograms Disabled

At the Main Menu, enter the Options tab and disable the pictograms. Find a song that you have danced to a few times and get 5 stars on it. The only difference here will be that you won't have the timeline at the bottom of the screen showing you what moves come next in the song, so it's best to choose a track that you're good at.

  • Get 5 Stars on the Extreme Version of Wild Wild West

To unlock the Extreme Version of a song you will need to earn Mojo. You earn Mojo by completing songs and their respective Dance Quests. Also, the higher star rating you get at the end of the song, the more Mojo you will get. Once you get a certain amount of Mojo, you will level up, allowing you to choose a random gift from the Wheel of Gifts. Unlock the Extreme version and get 5 stars on it.

  • Dance to (I've Had) The Time of my Life Alone

As the descriptions suggests, play (I’ve Had) The Time of my Life, with one controller, and one person doing one of the dancer’s moves. At the end of the song the trophy will unlock.

  • Dance to We No Speak Americano with 3 others

This trophy will require at least 4 Move Controllers. Find a few friends or hold all four controllers yourself and dance to the song. There’s no star requirements for this trophy, so simply holding the controllers and moving them to the song will work.

  • Dance to Time Warp twice in a row

Like the description says, dance to the Time Warp song twice in a row. Kill two birds with one stone by playing a third time, and that will net you this trophy as well as Stuck on Replay.

  • Win a Battle as the Never Gonna Give You Up Coach

This is the final battle that you can unlock by getting Mojo. You earn Mojo by completing songs and their respective Dance Quests. Also, the higher star rating you get at the end of the song, the more Mojo you will get. Once you get a certain amount of Mojo, you will level up, allowing you to choose a random gift from the Wheel of Gifts. Once you unlock this battle, play as the Never Gonna Give You Up coach (Superhero) and win the battle. This can be boosted with two controllers if necessary.
