Welcome to International Snooker. A neat little game where you can play snooker or a few variations of pool, against either the A.I or your friends. The trophy list may seem small and simple but some of the trophies do throw up a few obstacles and difficulties, thus requiring a moderate level of skill alongside a fair portion of luck.

Step 1: Play your first tournament in Career

It's recommended to play the first tournament, the 'Sheffield Open', as it consists of fewer rounds (5). This tournament has a reward of 1000 credits, which is required to unlock the BULL MARKET trophy.

Whilst playing through the tournament, be sure to pot at least one ball with maximum power, by adjusting your power bar to 100%. This will unlock you BANGER. When playing naturally through the game, you will be wanting to pot the black as frequently as possible to score as many points. Potting the black once will earn you POT BLACK.

Step 2: Unlock and play the pool game modes

After winning 1000 credits from winning the Sheffield Open, you can unlock the pool game mode pack from the shop, for 750 credits. Here you will be aiming to pot all of your balls in both UK and US 8 Ball from the break. This isn't a particularly difficult task but some luck is required. If you don't pot a ball from the break, then simply restart.

Cleaning out the table from start to finish on both UK & US 8 Ball (US requires you to do it twice, once with spots, once with stripes) will earn you:

MEASLES
GREEDY
ZEBRA

Step 3: Get your high breaks on a 'Quick Game' of snooker

It is likely you may have reached at least a 50, or even 100 break when playing your through your Sheffield Open naturally. However, if you have achieved none, simply set up a Quick Game of snooker, and change your opponent to human starting with player 2 to spread the red balls nicely from the start. Achieving these milestones will earn you:

HALF A TON
ONE TON
147 HERO

Step 4: Win the 'China Classic' tournament

You will find this tournament right near the end of the season timeline, in Career mode. It's recommended that you play this after playing the Sheffield Open so that you can get a feel for the game and naturally improve, as you will have to win 7 rounds to bag this tournament. The final being a best of 9 frames.

Even though it is a later tournament and also has a prize of 3000 credits, it isn't as difficult to win as you may expect. It is only a slightly higher standard than what you've already played, with each round having a progressively more accurate opponent. Winning this tournament will get you:

THE DYNASTY

Step 5: Clean up your 'Quick Game' matches + miscellaneous

Lastly, you will want to finish up reaching your 25 wins in 'Quick Game' mode. It is quickest to do this by winning 25 games of pool, as they quicker to play than a game of snooker, even if you change the snooker match set-up to the fewest red balls.

By winning 25 games, you will earn the A NICKEL and TWO BIT trophies. However, both of these trophies are potentially glitched so refer to the Trophy Guide for more details.

You will also be cleaning up the final miscellaneous trophy, which requires you to pot two balls at once. This game be achieved in any game mode. Successfully doing so will earn you:

TWO IN A BED

13 trophies ( 9  )

  • SCORE 100 IN ONE BREAK

    See 147 Hero.

  • POTTING TWO BALLS ON THE SAME SHOT

This can happen naturally while playing the game, however to improve your chances, set up a quick game match and change the set up to make your opponent human. Take it in turns between controlling both player 1 and player 2, to knock 2 red balls towards one of the middle pockets (as these have the widest opening). Adjust your power for each shot accordingly so you only slowly nudge the red balls towards the pocket and can place them easier and closer without actually potting them.

When you have them both literally sitting on the edge of the drop, make sure you are using player 1 and take a gentle shot onto them and they will both fall in. This can take a couple of attempts to execute properly. Trying to pot them with a lot of power will generally result in one of the red balls bouncing out due to hitting the pocket cushion.

  • SCORE A 147 BREAK

This is by far the hardest trophy in the game and requires an equal amount of good fortune, as well as player skill.

For this trophy you are not only required to pot all of the balls in one sitting but to also pot the black ball after every single red ball. To make things slightly easier for yourself, it's best to set up a 'Quick Game', selecting snooker and changing the match set up so that your opponent is human and that player 2 breaks first. Doing this means you can disperse the red balls from the pack as best as you can with the opening shot so that when it changes to player 1 (your PSN), you will have the best chance of having a spread variety of red balls and none that are clustered together.

You will need to learn how to control your cue ball effectively on each shot, by judging where the cue ball will end up after every shot by looking at the angle of the white indicator/pathway that points off of the target ball. This is the general direction your cue ball will go after you take your shot.

Using your shot power appropriately, especially when taking shots where your cue ball will hitting a cushion, is equally as important for successful placement. If you are taking shots that will result in your cue ball coming into direct contact with a cushion (sides of the table) afterwards, do not use a lot of power. The cushions are very sensitive and it doesn't take a lot for your ball to rebound off one and end up way down the opposite end of the table. The longer you play the game, the better your judgement will become of power and placement.

You will want to keep yourself in the bottom end of the table (where the black is) for as long as you can, by setting up your shots for the bottom left and bottom right pockets. Ensuring your cue ball is always in an appropriate line/angle to potting the black so that you won't send it up the table but softly rebound it off the bottom cushion after potting, is just as important.

When you have potted your last red ball, then the black ball again, you will be in the final stage of your 147 break, potting the remaining colours in order. The potting order for the last stage is:

    1. Yellow
    2. Green
    3. Brown
    4. Blue
    5. Pink
    6. Black

This is the easiest part but you will still need to follow the previous steps, by using your power accordingly so that your cue ball will be placed no more than a half-table distance away from your next ball.

  • WIN 5 QUICK PLAY GAMES

    GLITCHED

    See Two Bit.

  • A FULL POWER SHOT THAT LEGALLY POTS A BALL

This will be one of the first trophies you will get and is fairly straight forward. Go into any game mode and when it is your shot and you have a simple clear cut shot on a ball, simply put your power slider up to 100% and pot the ball. For better accuracy when aiming your shots, change the camera angle so you are above the table.

  • CLEAR THE SPOTS IN ONE SITTING (FROM THE BREAK) IN US 8 BALL

You will need 750 credits to unlock the pool game mode from the shop, which allows you to play both US & UK 8 Ball.. The first tournament you can enter in Career, has a 1000 credit prize if you win it so you will have to play through this (and win) beforehand.

When you have unlocked US 8 Ball, go into 'Quick Game', select the middle game mode of the 3 smaller tiles and make sure the match set up has you for breaking first. Put full power on your break shot, and if you don't pot anything from it, press start and 'Leave Play'. Start up another 'Quick Game' and try again for a pot from break. When you get a spotted ball potted from the break but be sure to pick your following shots wisely so that you don't have your cue ball fall in a position where you cannot pot.

It is common that even if you get your initial pot from the break, the rest of your required balls may be placed in awkward positions and sometimes rendered un-potable. If this is the case, all you can do is set up a new match and try again.

  • CLEAR THE TABLE IN ONE SITTING (FROM THE BREAK) IN UK 8 BALL

You will unlock UK 8 Ball, along with the US 8 Ball, when purchasing the pool game mode from the shop for 750 credits. It is the top game mode of the 3 smaller tiles in 'Quick Game'. See the Measles trophy, as the approach to achieving this in UK 8 Ball is exactly the same as US 8 Ball.

  • WIN 25 QUICK PLAY GAMES

    GLITCHED

Go into 'Quick Game' and select either snooker or UK/US 8 Ball (if you have unlocked them for 750 credits). It is quicker to win matches playing pool, however if you have yet to unlock them game modes, then select the snooker game mode. To make the wins come faster, apply these match settings to shorten each match:

    Opponent: A.I (Level 1)
    Frames: 1
    Break First: Opponent
    Shot Clock: Off
    Reds: 6

You can also play against a human opponent and those will count towards the trophy but the win count is potentially glitched, with some results not registering, leaving some players having to win 5-10 games more before the trophy unlocks. Forfeiting matches with player two for quick wins will also affect this, as the wins will show up on your 'Stats & Awards', but are not eligible for the trophy. It is therefore recommended to be cautious and play all your games against the A.I.

  • CLEAR THE STRIPES IN ONE SITTING (FROM THE BREAK) IN US 8 BALL

See the Measles trophy. You will be following the same routine, except you will be wanting to pot the striped balls and not the spotted ones.

  • LEGALLY POT THE BLACK

This will be one of the first trophies you will get. Go into 'Quick Game' and select snooker. You will have to firstly pot a red ball, then you are allowed to pot a coloured ball. Pot the black ball and the trophy will pop.

  • EARN 1000 CREDITS THROUGH PLAYING AND WINNING

You win credits by winning tournament in career mode. The first tournament available, Sheffield Open, has a prize of 1000 credits. The tournament consists of 5 rounds, with the best of (X) amount of legs increasing as you progress. Win the tournament and you will be rewarded 1000 credits, which you then need to speed on unlocking the 3 Pool modes from the Shop.

  • SCORE 50 IN ONE BREAK

    See 147 Hero.

  • WIN THE CHINESE TOURNAMENT IN CAREER MODE

For this you will have to win the 'China Classic' tournament in career mode, which is the 3rd last tournament on the season timeline. However, you did not need to play every tournament before the China Classic as you can simply select 'Skip Next Event' on each of the tournaments.

The China Classic consists of 7 rounds, starting off with the best of 3 frames in Round 1 and slowly increasing throughout the tournament, until the final where it is the best of 9 frames.
