Introduction:

I Expect You to Die 2 is the long awaited sequel to the equally devious original I Expect You to Die. You play as a secret agent on a mission to take down Zoraxis before they take down the World! Armed with your wit, a fancy telekenesis power and a lot of champagne, you'll make your way through 6 missions as you and your Handler expose the secret plans Zoraxis has tried to hard to keep hidden. You can tinker with just about everything you can see, making the puzzles in this game some decent brain teasers that will take you some time to figure out so if you're not going to use the solution guides, just prepare yourself.

Walkthrough:

Step 1: Play through each level

Your first goal will be to simply complete each level once. You can't get all of the souvenirs in one single playthrough (and you most definitely can't get the speedruns either) so just focus on completing the levels for now. You can't skip ahead on them so they'll all need to be done in order. When you have completed all 6, you'll have unlocked the respective trophies.

At the end of this step, you will have earned the following trophies:

The World is a Stage trophy_bronze.png
First Class Agent trophy_bronze.png
Fabricating a Lie trophy_bronze.png
A Case of Wine trophy_bronze.png
It's a wrap? It's a trap! trophy_bronze.png
Rise and Fall trophy_gold.png

Step 2: Collect all of the souvenirs

Now that you've played through each level, you should now have a firm understanding on how to complete them quicker (not that you need to for this step, of course). You can just focus on getting the souvenirs now. Take note that Levels 1 and 3 will require at least two playthroughs to get all the souvenirs. The other four levels only require one but feel free to take as many attempts as you need. You don't have to get them all in one go and once you unlock one, it'll be unlocked forever (unless you delete your save file). The Movie Awards are included in the souvenirs so don't worry about going out of your way to collect those. They'll come naturally during this step. There are 6 souvenirs per level so once you've unlocked all 36, you will earn the respective trophies.

At the end of this step, you will have earned the following trophies:

Drama Lover trophy_gold.png
High Class trophy_gold.png
No Drawer Unopened trophy_gold.png
The Butler Did It trophy_gold.png
Best Performance, Drama trophy_gold.png
Over the Top trophy_gold.png
Biggest Fan trophy_gold.png

Step 3: Speedruns

This is arguably the most difficult part of the trophies (outside of actually figuring out how to complete each level, of course). The speedrun times are quite unforgiving you to need to be very quick with everything you do. Even the smallest mistake will take up valuable seconds that can cost you dearly. The times required and tips/shortcuts for each level are provided under their respective trophies. Be prepared to spend some time on this step as a few of levels will take a bit of practice to get done. Once you've completed all of the speedruns, you will have earned the respective trophies.

At the end of this step, you will have earned the following trophies:

One Act Play trophy_silver.png
Premium Service trophy_silver.png
Gone in 130 Seconds trophy_silver.png
Premium Service trophy_silver.png
Short Film trophy_silver.png
Express Ride trophy_silver.png

20 trophies ( 6  )

  • Complete all levels under the speedrun time, find all movie awards and discover all souvenirs.

Collect all other trophies to unlock this Platinum.
  • Finish level 6 under the speedrun time

You'll need to have played Levels 1-5 before Level 6 will be available for you.

The speedrun time for this level is 2:40. You will need to get exactly 2:40 or less for the trophy to unlock. It's highly recommended you earn Rise and Fall trophy_gold.png and Over the Top trophy_gold.png before attempting this, that way you have a decent understanding of how to actually complete the level. Of course you'll need to move pretty quickly through everything but there are a few things you can do to make your run a little bit quicker.
    • When the level starts, pick up the banana directly across from the elevator. This can be used to recharge the battery when the time comes to do so.
    • Place everything you'll be needing on the seat next to you or directly in front of you on the floor. Do not stack anything. You want to make it as easy as possible to pick up everything when the items are needed.
    • When you have to unscrew the plate in the elevator, you can pick up the other items as you work on it. Just glance over to check the progress of the screws and move on as needed.
    • When you need to free the Leaders from the cells, don't do them individually. Unlock the powerbox on the left and pull the switch. This will open all the cells at once.
    • Try and activate the final electrical box at the end while the elevator is still moving. If you can't (VR controls can be funky), don't worry too much about it. It just gives you an extra second or two.
    • If you can, memorize the puzzles at the end, especially the Encryption puzzle (the other two aren't nearly as bad). This can easily cost you precious seconds. The correct solution for this is (Number the buttons 1-6 starting on the top left going clockwise): 5, 1, 2, 1, 3, 2, 1, 4

If you've beat the proper time, the trophy will unlock when you reach the level-end screen with the briefcase and champagne. If you need a visual for the speedrun, please see the video below. Please note the video does not use the Banana method but it can still be done without. You'll just lose an extra second or two getting the cowprod.
  • Finish level 5 under the speedrun time

You'll need to have played Levels 1-4 before Level 5 will be available for you.

The speedrun time for this level is 1:30. You will need to get exactly 1:30 or less for the trophy to unlock. It's highly recommended you earn It's a wrap? It's a trap! trophy_bronze.png and Best Performance, Drama trophy_gold.png before attempting this, that way you have a decent understanding of how to complete the level. Out of all of the levels, this one feels the most unforgiving since there's not a whole lot you can do to shortcut anything. You just need to move quickly. A few things you can do to help yourself out:
    • Prep the drill before hand and make sure it's within easy reach when you're able to get the battery.
    • Use the Director's Clapperboard as soon as you can to stop Juniper's speech asap.
    • Between when his speech stops and when the missile launcher activates, you have about 5 seconds to work. In this time, you need to change the background behind the Podium to the one with the Zoraxis emblem and tilt the Mirror to the correct angle to get you out of your laser prison.
    • When you have to lure the missiles, you can use the same item for both missiles (you don't have to drop it). This should save you a second or two.
    • You don't need to make physical contact with the hatch above you when you're going to open it. The drill can be a few inches away and still work so don't worry about getting it to fit perfectly.

Below is a video showing this speedrun being completed. Again, you really just need to move very quickly, especially at the beginning. The sooner you can get the lighter and the clapperboard done, the better. If you find yourself struggling to pick up something even in the slightest (the battery might give you some trouble), it's best to just restart. The 1:30 goes by rather quickly so every second counts and any small mistake can push you over the time limit. If you've beat the proper time, the trophy will unlock when you reach the level-end screen with the briefcase and champagne.
  • Finish level 4 under the speedrun time

You'll need to have played Levels 1-3 before Level 4 will be available for you.

The speedrun time for Level 3 is a whopping 3:30. You'll need to get a time of exactly 3:30 or less for the trophy to unlock. It's highly recommended you get A Case of Wine trophy_bronze.png and The Butler Did It trophy_gold.png before attempting this, that way you have a decent understanding of what you need to do to complete the level. You won't really any shortcuts you can take in this one but more so just a lot of prep work that you can do as the level progresses. Below are just a few recommendations and things to keep an eye out for to help make this go by a little quicker.
    • You should already know what wine and glasses to send up at the very start. Send those up before Juniper requests them.
    • While you're waiting for the key to come down, move the ladder by the barrels over one so you can turn off the left barrel without wasting time moving the ladder.
    • When you have to clear the ballroom, use the buttons on the console instead of a gas grenade. It's just a lot quicker.
    • When the ballroom clears, move the lazy waiter up to the Billiards room so it's prepped to ring the guard in.
    • Try and take out the guard in the Upstairs Bar first since he patrols the area and can waste your time if he's not in the room to kill after the others. Before you do, though, ring the dumbwaiter bell to get the guard into the billiards room. You can kill both pretty quick, then of course the one in the gynasium is static so take him out last.
    • Whichever you kill last, make sure you drain/empty the gas so they don't use it against you.
    • Take off the mask before Juniper comes down to the Wine Cellar. It'll skip a dialogue section saving you about a second or two.
    • While the guards are making their the way down to the wine cellar, open up the large barrel on the left with the knives so it's prepped and ready.

From there, it's just about getting the grenade in the barrel and finishing the level quickly. If you've beat the proper time, the trophy will unlock when you reach the level-end screen with the briefcase and champagne. Below is a video showing the speedrun being completed. Again, there's plenty of opportunity to prep sections ahead of time. You shouldn't really have much downtime if done correctly.
  • Finish level 3 under the speedrun time

You'll need to have played Levels 1 & 2 before Level 3 will be available for you.

The speedrun time for Level 3 is 2:10 (or as the trophy states, 130 seconds). You'll need to get a time of exactly 2:10 or less for the trophy to unlock. It's highly recommended you earn Fabricating a Lie trophy_bronze.png and No Drawer Unopened trophy_gold.png before attempting this, that way you have a decent understanding of how to complete the level. This level, fortunately, does have a section where you can initiate a shortcut which will save you about 6-7 seconds of time. As long as you're quick with everything, you should be able to make the 2:10 time easily enough. If you can, try to use both hands at once, especially when opening up the desk drawers with the keys. The more you can double up on your tasks/movements, the better. Here are a few tips for this Level to help you make the 2:10 goal.
    • When the level starts, immediately pause the game and choose "restart level" from the pause menu. The Fabricator has some dialogue at the start of the level if you begin from the tape/van that isn't there if you restart from the pause menu. This will knock off about 4-5 seconds and will cause the flashlight to fall down sooner as well.
    • When you're lowering yourself down, try and move the radio and wine bottle off the top of the desk so you can get that door open without having to move anything later on. If you can't get them, it's not the end of the world.
    • As stated before, try and double up on your tasks. Unlock two doors, spin two knobs, etc.
    • Prep the mask before the tracking device comes down (take out the battery, cut the wires, prep the soldering gun). That way you can just put the chip in and put it all back together quickly.
    • Shortcut: When the mask is put back together, you want to kill the guard instead of allowing him to talk your ear off. You'll have done both methods for No Drawer Unopened trophy_gold.png so you should be familiar with them. The first is to poison him with the wine/gas bottle that was on the desk. The second is to get the bear to shoot him with a poisonous dart (found in the left drawer, above the one you had to cut the wire in). Personal preference is the bear but either will work just fine.

From there, just reel yourself back up and out of the level. Hopefully with the shortcut at the end and cutting out the dialogue at the beginning, you'll be well within the 2:10 limit but you may need a few practice runs before you get since, again, you need to move rather quickly with everything and this level has a lot of moving parts. If you've beat the proper time, the trophy will unlock when you reach the level-end screen with the briefcase and champagne. Below is a video showing the speedrun being done without the shortcuts so even if you don't use them, it's still possible.
  • Finish level 2 under the speedrun time

You'll need to have completed Level 1 before Level 2 will be available for you to play.

The speedrun time for Level 2 is an even 3:00. You'll need to get a time of exactly 3:00 or less for the trophy to unlock. It's highly recommended you unlock First Class Agent trophy_bronze.png and High Class trophy_gold.png before attempting this, that way you have a decent understanding of how to complete the level and where everything is. There are a lot of moving parts to this one so the more you can memorize, the better. There aren't really any shortcuts that you can take persay, just a lot of "prep" work to make everything go by a little bit quicker. Below are some tips on getting this level done in time.
    • The first thing you should do is call the service car, recline the chair directly in front of you, then pull the book to open up the secret compartment in the couch.
    • Put in the code for the mask/battery compartment (1-3-1-3) and pick up the silver platter so you're ready for the lasers. While the defense system is loading up, pick up the other 3 batteries and place them on the board (the 2 end-pronged batteries go on the right, the 4 pronged battery goes on the top left and the 2 middle pronged battery goes on the bottom left).
    • Ignore the mask, you don't need it. Pick up the last battery, send away the cart and place it on the board, then press the green button.
    • Quickly take off the speaker and move the map marker to the correct location. While the dialogue is playing out, grab the facemask/put it on from the compartment below the map and break the window with the icepick (below where the drawing was).
    • Spam the "change destination" button until the system overrides, then spam the defense button until the panel to your left opens.
    • Press the two triangle buttons, open up the bottom compartment and press the two "tophat" buttons.
    • Open up both consoles on your table.
    • On the left side, move the cartridges to the left side and the slider down to "2". On the right side, move the sliders into the green area. This will skip a world of dialogue.
    • Wait for your cohort to say "Never meet your heroes, agent" and then just after, he'll start to say how you need to move quickly and will tell you to move the sliders into the black area. Do so, then look out the window. As soon as the missile hatch tries to open, yank it open to finish the level.
Being able to skip the majority of the instructional dialogue for the defense system is incredibly beneficial in you completing this level in the required time. If you've beat the proper time, the trophy will unlock when you reach the level-end screen with the briefcase and champagne. If you're having any trouble, below is a video showing this speedrun being done that you can reference.
  • Finish level 1 under the speedrun time

Level 1 will be open from the start (of course) and has a speedrun time of 1:30. You'll need to get a time of exactly 1:30 or less for the trophy to unlock. It's highly recommended you get The World is a Stage trophy_bronze.png and Drama Lover trophy_gold.png before attempting this so you have a decent idea of what you need to complete the level (as well as get some practice in for the guards at the end). While 1:30 will feel pretty tight, this one isn't too bad to do as there are a few shortcuts you can take for it. Below are some tips for completing this level within the time requirement:
    • The very first thing you want to do is get they key for the curtain and raise it up, then turn on the light shining into the balcony seats (on the light lever, it's the right).
    • Quickly open up the lockbox behind you (code 2-1-1-2) and grab the aerosol can. When the mask comes down, quickly switch out the canisters.
    • Since the light is already shining on the balcony, the first guard will go down immediately. While waiting for the second guard, you can hover the clipboard to your left as a sort of barrier between you and the guard that will eventually appear on that side.
    • If you had trouble aiming your crossbow, use the mine method below for the 3rd guard. If you had no issue with the Crossbow, just immediately close the door on the 2nd guard and shoot the 3rd.
    • When the 2nd and 3rd guards show up, be mindful of the guard shooting arrows at you on the left and wait for a grenade from the one down below you. When you get one, throw it at the guard on the left, then press the top right sound button to close the door on the lower guard.
    • Since you didn't lower the decorative curtains, there won't be a 4th guard and the level will end.

Nice and easy for this one. If you've beat the proper time, the trophy will unlock when you reach the level-end screen with the briefcase and champagne. If you're having any trouble, please use this video for assistance: LINK
  • Discover all souvenirs in level 6

There are 6 souvenirs to collect in Level 6. The list of their names are provided on the level-end clipboard but you will need more than just their name/title to figure out what to do. While these can all be earned in one go, you don't have to get them all at once and can take as many runs as you need. Once you "discover" (complete the task for) one, you'll hear a little spy jingle and it'll remain complete forever (unless you delete your save file).

The 6 you need to find/complete in Level 6 are as follows:

Hidden Trophy: This is the Movie Award you'll need to collect for Biggest Fan trophy_gold.png. Compared to the other levels, this one requires a few extra steps. When you first start the Level and are sitting in the elevator, you should see a bowl of fruit sitting on an ottoman directly across from you. Move the bowl out of the way and there will be a key sitting on the ottoman. Pick it up and continue forward through the elevator going up, then getting stuck. On the console that you pick up the fire extinguisher on is a lockbox. Use the key on the lock and open it up. Inside the box is the Movie Award.

Bzztnana: You can get this one alongside "Prods to Plowshares". When the level starts, directly across from the elevator will be an ottoman with a bowl of fruit on top of it. Pick up the banana that's inside the bowl and put it next to you in the elevator (this is the same ottoman you grab that key from for "Hidden Trophy"). Progress through the level and you'll eventually have to recharge a battery to get the elevator moving again. Attach the clips to the banana and it will miraculously charge, giving you this souvenir. Even though the battery is already fully charged, you can still get "Prods to Plowshares" after this one.

The Final Mask: This one can be easy to miss if you're too focused on completing the disarm puzzle at the end. When the platform that Juniper is standing on eventually splits, he'll dangle off the left side for a few before eventually falling. When he does fall, he'll leave the mask up on the edge of platform. Just grab it and put it on to get this souvenir.

Prods to Plowshares: This can be done alongside "Bzztnana" (read that one first to make sure you don't miss the banana if you are doing them together). As you progress through the level, the elevator will eventually get stuck between two floors. You'll need to pick up a battery and charge it to progress forward. On the right side of the console on the lower floor is a hat and a cattle prod hanging on the wall. Pick up the cattle prod and use it to charge up the battery to get this souvenir. Even though the battery is fully charged, you can still get "Bzztnana" right after if you still need it.

Batteries Not Included: This one is kind of story related as I haven't personally found another way to break the cable saw. When the elevator stops the first time (where the fire extinguisher is), make sure you pick up the large square key inside the right cart. A little later on, when after you've recharged the battery, two guards will turn on a cable saw above your elevator. You need to open the hatch with the square key, then pull the dead battery out of the elevator panel and hold it up by the small console for the cable saw. It'll explode, stopping the saw. This will get you the souvenir. Again, this one might be story related since you can't continue without stopping the saw and I haven't found anything else yet that will turn it off.

Don't Try This at Home: When the elevator stops the first time (where the fire extinguisher is), pick up the can of WD-40 in the right cart and grab the lighter (it's on the left wall where the cigars are). Simply ignite the lighter, then aim the WD-40 and pray it into the flame to create a fireball. This will get you the souvenir.

When you've collected them all, the trophy will unlock when you've made your way back to the Van. If you're having any trouble, please use this video for assistance: LINK
  • Discover all souvenirs in level 5

There are 6 souvenirs to collect in Level 5. The list of their names are provided on the level-end clipboard but you'll be needing more than just their name/title to figure out what to do.

You need to wait until the movie set is visible (when the wall disappears). On the left side of the area will be a trailer with a vanity mirror inside (you'll need this mirror to progress the story so you can't really miss it). Sitting on the dresser just under the mirror is the Movie Award.

Director's Cut: You'll be getting this one as you go for the speedrun trophy Short Film trophy_silver.png. When the movie set becomes visible after the wall disappears, there will be a director's clapperboard leaning on a stage chair, almost directly in front of you (it's between you and the podium). Pick up the clapperboard and open and shut it. You'll interrupt Juniper's speech, causing him to stop and get to firing the missiles. You'll also earn this souvenir.

Grilled Cheese: This one is pretty simple and might actually happen accidentally. Sitting on the plates in front of you is a slice of cake and a grilled cheese sandwich. For this souvenir, you need to toast the sandwich. You can use the lighter or any laser to do so, just make sure that whichever you choose, you let the animation of it either burning or "exploding" finish to ensure you get the souvenir.

Childproofing: You'll need to get this one before burning the wall to reveal the movie set. On the table in front of you is a knife and a fork. You'll need the knife to open the drawer and you'll need the fork for this souvenir. On the right side of the room is a socket (for those in the US, that's what an EU socket looks like). Simply put the fork in the socket and watch the sparks fly. Don't worry, it won't kill you (somehow) but you will get this souvenir.

Minty Fresh: Before you burn the wall at the start of the level, pick up the toothbrush sitting on the sink on the right side of the room. Keep this close by and make sure it doesn't get burnt by any of the forecoming lasers. Progress with the level and when you get the battery for the drill, attached the toothbrush to it and hold it up to your face. You'll basically powerbrush your teeth and get this souvenir.

Property Damage: For this souvenir, you need to destory all of the equipment in the movie set with the laser when you have it. Be careful not to hit the explosive barrels as that will kill you instantly. You need to destroy the crates, the studio chairs and the light fixtures. Anything from the "office" room doesn't matter for this, just the equipment in the studio. For the most part, they're all in pretty clear view but there is a studio chair on the right side (by the standing mirror) that can be easily missed so just keep an eye out for it. When everything is destroyed, you'll get the souvenir.

When you've collected them all, the trophy will unlock when you've made your way back to the Van. If you're having any trouble, please use this video for assistance: LINK
  • Discover all souvenirs in level 4

There are 6 souvenirs to collect in Level 5. The list of their names are provided on the level-end clipboard but you'll be needing more than just their name/title to figure out what to do.

This one is super easy to get compared to almost every other level. Simply lower the dumbwaiter all the way down and the Movie Award will be sitting on the top of it.

Smoke Alarm: When you've opened up the console on the table in front of you, a wall of smoke grenades will also appear underneath where the masks are. Place one inside the dumbwaiter, pull the pin, then send it up to the Ballroom. It'll go off and Juniper will instruct everyone to get out, earning you the souvenir.

Face Off: When you send up the Mimic Mask to the Ballroom, you'll need to put on the red mask to reveal a secret button which, when pressed, will reveal the console on the table in front of you. Progress through the level and eventually some guards will come down to the wine cellar. If you don't still have the red mask on, put it back on. When Juniper joins the guards, he'll dramatically ask if you're wearing one of his masks. When he does, you'll earn the souvenir.

Meat Cleaver: When you have to send the Mimic Mask up to the Ballroom, you'll need to turn off some barrels to reveal the actual masks. If you turn off the wrong one, a very large cleaver will come flying down from the ceiling which will kill you if you're in the way of it (it will also give you a heart attack, just as a warning). For this souvenir, lean as far left as you can and turn off an incorrect barrel. The cleaver will fly past you and get stuck behind you. On your left will be a plate with some food on it, more specifically a sausage. Pick up the sausage and extend it out to hit the blade of the cleaver to chop it in half. When you do, you'll get the souvenir.

Notes of Leather: I can't help but feel like this is a nod to the Get Smart but even if it isn't, we're going to pretend it is. When the level starts, don't send up the wine and glasses. Instead, pick up the shoe on the floor and send that up to the Ballroom instead. Confusion will ensue but at least you will get the souvenir!

Explosive Studies: You'll get this one towards the end of the level. When the guards and Juniper make their way down to the wine cellar, they'll eventually start throwing some grenades at you. Pick one up, put it in the dumbwaiter and send it all the way up to the Study. When it explodes, you'll get some additional dialogue as well as the souvenir.

When you've collected them all, the trophy will unlock when you've made your way back to the Van. If you're having any trouble, please use this video for assistance: LINK
  • Discover all souvenirs in level 3

There are 6 souvenirs to collect in Level 5. The list of their names are provided on the level-end clipboard but you'll be needing more than just their name/title to figure out what to do. You will need at least 2 runs to get all of the souvenirs but really can take as many runs as you need.

This one is a little hidden but not too terrible to find. When you start to lower yourself down, keep an eye on the shelf on the left. On the very top shelf, laying on a box, will be the Movie Award. You might have to shine your flashlight on it before you'll be able to see it properly.

Audiophile: To the left of the desk, you should see a fairly large tape player (it has a big green button on it, kind of hard to miss). Scattered around the play area are 6 audio tapes: #1 is on a shelf just to the left of the player, #2 is sitting on the player itself, #3 is just left of the player (on the same shelf the player is on), #4 is in the middle right drawer of the desk, #5 is on the right side of the desk (next to the plant when you open it up) and #6 is sitting on top of the desk on the right side. Listen to all 6 in full and you'll get the souvenir.

The Bear Did It: This is one of two "ending" related souvenirs. You can get either this one or "A Vintage to Die For" but you can't get both on the same run. On the left side of the desk, there is a drawer that you need to cut a wire in before opening. Just above this is another drawer with some poisonous darts inside. Take one out so it's ready for you. Progress through the level and when the guard comes in, put the poison dart all the way up in the crossbow that the Bear on the top floor is holding. He'll shoot it at the guard and take him out, earning you this souvenir.

A Vintage to Die For: This is one of two "ending" related souvenirs. You can get either this one or "The Bear Did It" but you can't get both on the same run. Sitting on the left side of the desk is a radio and a bottle of "wine". This bottle is actually full of poisnous gas so be careful to not break it. Progress through the level and when the guard comes in, take the bottle and extend it all the way to the guard (or you can just throw it) and break the bottle near him so he takes in the poison. When he's out, you'll get the souvenir.

Hard Hat Area: To the left of the desk is a large tape player (it has a big green play button so will be hard to miss). Just above this is a shelf with a metal helmet. Pick up the helmet and put it on the Bear all the way up on the top floor. When it's wearing it, you'll get the souvenir.

Not That Kind of Bug: When you have to put the tracking device inside the mask, ignore the mask and pick up the plant on the right side of the desk instead. Put the tracking device inside the plant to get the souvenir.

When you've collected them all, the trophy will unlock when you've made your way back to the Van. If you're having any trouble, please use this video for assistance: LINK
  • Discover all souvenirs in level 2

There are 6 souvenirs to collect in Level 5. The list of their names are provided on the level-end clipboard but you'll be needing more than just their name/title to figure out what to do.

When you call the service cart to your seat, the curtain in the back of the plane will open and reveal a small service area. Sitting on the counter in the service area will be the Movie Award.

Bombs Away: If you're going for everything in one go, please "Laser Go Boom" to make sure you get that before this one since you'll need to take out the remaining lasers. Before you attempt this one, you'll need the oxygen mask. Pull the book that opens up the console in the couch, then open up the "drawer" compartment just below the console. Take out the mask and put it on. Grab the icepick off the counter just below the painting and use it to break the window next to you. Now call out the service cart and enter the code for the menu item Citrus and Co (1-3-2-4). If you didn't already take out the lasers, you'll need to do that here. When they're gone, a drawer will open and a bowl of fruit will appear. In the bowl is a "strawberry" that's really a small red grenade (the leafy part will be the pull pin). Quickly take the explosive and toss it out the window to get this souvenir.

Laser Go Boom: For this souvenir, you'll need to blow up one of the defense lasers that fires at you when you order something from the service cart. When the level starts, there will be a cigar on the table in front of you. Don't be fooled, this is an explosive. The laser you'll be using it on is the one just above the couch on the right (or above the console if you already have it open). To the right of the couch on a lower shelf is a lighter. Pick it up, light the cigar and quickly extend the cigar out so it's touching the laser hole on the wall. When it explodes, it'll take out the laser and you'll get this souvenir.

Laser Defense Grid: For this souvenir, you need to take out the missile using a laser. When you start the level, immediately recline the seat in front of you so when the laser activates, it'll shoot up into the ceiling. Be sure to also grab either the silver platter or its lid from the service cart when you call it to your seat. Ignore the laser for now and progress through the level. When it comes time to manually open the missile defense hatch on the wing, grab the silver platter (or the lid) and hold it in front of you. Pull the reclined chair up and use the platter/lid to deflect the laser out of the window and into the missile. This one is a little funky and might take a few attempts. The second time this was attempted, I had plenty of time to aim and shoot the missile but the first time I did it, the missile apparently came with a rocket booster and it hit the plane before I got a chance to even see it so just be careful as you do this one.

Art Appreciation: You'll need to burn the painting of Juniper to get this one. You can do it two different ways: you can use the lighter to just set it ablaze immediately, or you can wait until the laser defense system activates as it'll automatically burn it. If you happened to have pressed the button in the cupboard below the painting, it might be "open". Make sure it's closed/visible so it actually does burn.

No Mask No Problem: For this souvenir, you need to complete the battery-pack "puzzle" on the console that extends out from the couch without using the radar mask. When you have all 4 batteries, ignore the mask that appears with one in the service cart and instead, just place the batteries in their correct locations with your normal vision (the two outside-pronged batteries go on the right, the 4 pronged battery goes on the top left and the battery with the two central prongs goes on the bottom left. Hit the green button when they're in the correct location and you'll get the souvenir.

When you've collected them all, the trophy will unlock when you've made your way back to the Van. If you're having any trouble, please use this video for assistance: LINK
  • Discover all souvenirs in level 1

There are 6 souvenirs to collect in Level 5. The list of their names are provided on the level-end clipboard but you'll be needing more than just their name/title to figure out what to do. You'll need a minimum of 2 runs to get everything but really can take as many runs as you need.

This one is really easy to collect. It's on the lockbox behind you (the same one that you grab the aersol can from).

Master of Disguise: As the title sort of hints at, you'll need to don a disguise for this one. In the bottom drawer of the table you're sitting at are some glasses, a watch and a mustache. Put all 3 on, then to the left of the desk is a hutch with a shield, a crossbow and a tophat. Grab the tophat and put it on. The Fabricator will give you a bit of an audible cue that she doesn't like it but hey, at least you'll get your souvenir!

Curtain Call: For this souvenir, you need to complete your job as a stagehand in full. If the Fabricator lowers the mask before you're done, you'll have to start over to get this. The tasks include lowering the decorative curtains (the far left lever/rope), raising the light fixture (middle lever/rope - you'll need to manually pull this one up), raising the clock (the large lever on the middle of the desk) and turning it red (on the left console, turn R all the way up and make sure G and B are all the way down). Once you're all set, you'll get an audible cue to raise the curtains. This is far right lever/rope that you need to unlock with the key (top drawer of the desk). When you have to turn on the spotlight, pull the light lever to the left. This will light a spotlight onto the stage. From here, listen for Juniper to say the lines written out on the clipboard (inside the drawer) and press the corresponding sound buttons when he does (there are only two). Let the rest of the scene play out and when the mask eventually lowers down, you'll get the souvenir.

Patience is a Virtue: You can get this one alongside "Curtain Call". If the mask lowers naturally, it won't start spewing gas immediately. If you annoy the Fabricator and she lowers it early, it will start spewing the gas almost immediately. Wait until the gas starts, then quickly take out the gas canister and replace it with the aerosol can from the lockbox behind you. If you do it before you die, you'll get this souvenir.

Lights Camera Assassin: You won't be able to get this one and "Return Fire" in the same run. Before you can get this one, you need to make sure the decorative curtains are lowered (the leftmost lever/rope). When the guards come out to attack you, you'll need to take out two of them with their respective lights. The guard on the balcony can be taken out by moving the light lever all the way right. The last guard to appear will show up on a catwalk in front of you. They can be taken out by moving the light lever down. If you want to quickly take out the guard below you, press the sound button 8-40.2 (top right button). This isn't required for this souvenir but still might be fun.

Return Fire: You won't be able to get this one and "Return Fire" in the same run. Before you can get this one, you need to make sure the decorative curtains are lowered (the leftmost lever/rope). When the guards come out to attack you, you'll need to take out two of them with poisonous darts. You might think the ones in the drawer next to you will work but they won't. The guard on the balcony and the one that appears to your left are firing poisonous darts at you. You need to catch them, load them into the crossbow then fire them back. Use the clipboards to shield yourself and the darts will get stuck in the back of them. Take out the guard on the balcony asap, then make yourself a clipboard wall on the left to completely block out that guard. Take out the guard below you (this one is a pain because the darts for some reason prefer to fly upwards instead of straight so it may take a few tries), then the guard up top will appear. Take them out next, then work on the leftmost guard. Don't start shooting at him until you have an extra dart to spare, just case you miss. Take him out and since all 4 went down with poisnous darts, you'll get the souvenir.

When you've collected them all, the trophy will unlock when you've made your way back to the Van. If you're having any trouble, please use this video for assistance: LINK
