Like so many of the areas of Hogwarts Castle in Hogwarts Legacy, The Library Annex is stuffed full of collectibles to find. Some are hidden in plain sight, while others are tucked away behind secret walls, or shut behind locked doors. There’s pages to find, chests to open, and statues to pilfer, and it can be tough to find them all.
Luckily for you, we’ve been scouring the game for each and every collectible, and we’ve now got our very own library full of information on Hogwarts Legacy, including every Field Guide Page, Collection Chest, and Demiguise Statue in the Library Annex. Read on for all the information you’ll need to fill out your Field Guide.
Flying Page - You should see a page flying around above you in Central Hall

Moth Mirror - The first Moth Mirror puzzle you’ll likely come across, needed in order to complete the “Like a Moth to a Frame” side quest.
Statue of Gregory the Smarmy - There’s a statue down the stairs in the main Central Hall. Use Revelio.
Central Hall Fountain - The fountain in the middle of the Central Hall. Use Revelio.
Dragon Statue - In the north corner of the Central Hall on the walkway, use a fire spell to set it alight and reveal the page.
Levioso Statue - In the Central Hall (northside, down by the entrance/exit), to the south there’s a locked door. Behind it is a statue to use Levioso on.
Flying Page - There’s one flying around inside the library, up high on the top floor.
Moth Mirror - Upstairs in the library, in the south corner. Moth is on the other end of the library (northwest side), near the large painting on the centre of the wall.
Enchanted Books - In the Restricted Area in the library (down two flights of stairs). Use Revelio.
Levioso Statue - Just a bit further into the Restricted Area, you’ll find a statue to use Levioso on.
Palmistry Model - Inside the Divination Classroom.
Arithmancy Classroom - There’s a puzzle door up in the rafters of the Central Hall itself - the same level of the Divinations Classroom Floo Flame (go west from it). Solution is: ? = 4 and ?? = 3(Library Annex). The Revelio page is in the back of said puzzle door, near 2 other puzzle doors.
Flying Page - In the large open area, the Viaduct Entrance, as if coming from the Great Hall. You’ll want to be inside the big double doors, not outside. Look up at the rafters and you should find it.
Portrait of Sir Cadogan - From the Central Hall Floo Flame go up and up the staircases until you reach the Viaduct Entrance, then take the stone stairs to the southwest to get up to the balcony and then turn back on yourself to go north, and you’ll see the portrait on the wall.
Moth Mirror - From the Bell Tower Courtyard Floo Flame, turn around and go through the door with knights either side of it. Keep walking forward to reach the Long Gallery, there’s a Moth Mirror ahead on the left. The butterfly is back where you came from.
Gorgon Painting - From the Bell Tower Courtyard Floo Flame, turn around and go through the door with knights either side of it. Solve the puzzle door on the right (? = 2, ?? = 1). The painting is inside.
Dirigible Plums - In the Greenhouse where you go for your Herbology class, to learn about Chinese Chomping Cabbages. If you travel into the Greenhouses Floo Flame, head to the two doors straight ahead of you. Use the left of these two doors, and the Revelio page is in this room.
Greenhouse Tree - The large tree in the centre of the Greenhouse, immediately in front of you if you use the Greenhouses Floo Flame.
Professor Sharp’s Auror Badge - In the Potions Classroom, on Professor Sharp’s desk.
Library Annex Demiguise Statue Locations (3)
Demiguise Statue #1
In the Divination Classroom (in the Library Annex), on the teacher’s desk.
Demiguise Statue #2
From the Bell Tower Courtyard Floo Flame, go through the locked door behind you with the two knights standing either side, into the Long Gallery (in the Library Annex). The statue is down there on the right, behind a Level 2 locked door.
Demiguise Statue #3
In the Restricted Section in the library (Library Annex). You can actually see it below you if you use the extended Revelio in the library itself. Head down and down. Same area you and Sebastian went when you were in here in the main quest.
Library Annex Collection Chests Locations (8)
Collection Chest #1
In the Restricted Section of the library in the Library Annex. While doing the main quest “Secrets of the Restricted Section.” When Peeves pops out, it’s behind you on a desk, in a chest.
Collection Chest #2
From the Bell Tower Courtyard Floo Flame, turn around and head straight ahead through the door with two knights standing either side of it. Solve the puzzle door on the right (? = 2, ?? = 1). The chest is inside, next to a painting.

Inside the previous puzzle door are two puzzle doors. The one to the east wall, the solution is = ? = 4 and ?? = 5 (Library Annex).

Tower Spire - The second puzzle door’s (the one to the south) solution is: ? = 6 and ?? = 1 (Library Annex).
Collection Chest #8
If you take down the stairs next to the Potions Class you’ll end up in the Long Gallery, which leads to the Bell Tower Wing. If you’ve completed the “Hero of Herodiana” side quest, there will be a Depulso Room on the north wall of the long corridor. Use Depulso on the button, open the room and solve the 3 puzzles to get this chest.
