Hogwarts Legacy Collection: All 78 Appearances and where to find them

Hogwarts Legacy is absolutely chock full of transmogrification options for its gear - transmogrification (or transmog for short) is when you change a piece of gear’s visual look, but not its stats or perks.

Not only do you get the option to use a previous look of a piece of gear that you’ve already picked up in Hogwarts Legacy, but there’s also a ton of specific transmog options that you can unlock on your travels. 78 to be precise! 

Like everything else in Hogwarts Legacy, transmog options - the ones you unlock for feats - are tracked in the game’s Collection, under the banner of Appearances. There are 78 gear appearances to collect in all: 49 are related to Hogwarts Legacy Challenges; 27 are tied to Hogwarts Legacy side quests; and the final 2 are received for completing the 2 Battle Arenas in the Highlands.

There are 9 DLC gear appearances as well, which are tied to the Deluxe Edition of the game, taking the count to 87. That said, these aren’t needed for the completion of this Collection - however, if you do have the Deluxe Edition and want to unlock the final “Additional Content” appearance, then head to the Forbidden Forest and complete the Dark Arts Battle Arena.

5. Quidditch Captain’s Cape - Reward for completing level 4 of the Landing Pads challenge (complete 8 more Landing Platforms).
6. Autumn Festival Coat - Reward for completing level 4 of the Duelling Feats challenge (complete 32 more duelling feats).
7. Spider Slayer Armour - Reward for completing level 1 of the Defeat Spiders challenge (for defeating 10 Spiders).
8. Top of the Class Cloak - Reward for completing level 3 of the Assignment s challenge (complete the last 6 Assignments).
9. Lucky Leprechaun Overcoat - Reward for completing level 5 of the Side/Relationship Quests challenge (complete 32 more side/relationship quests).
