INTRODUCTION

Hitman returns but things are a little different this time around. IO-Interactive are delivering content in an episodic form, releasing a new level/location every month for the next 6 months or so. Each main location acts as a large sandbox to allow for many different assassination methods. Part 1 of this Roadmap will deal with the base game which combines some ICA Facility missions with a more meaty Paris based level.

Part 2 will deal with the DLC Episodes and how to approach them, they tend to follow the same format with similar systemic trophies based on completing tasks and challenges. This means you can roll out the same approach for them all, with only minor changes for trophies particular to each location.

WALKTHROUGH

Part One: The Base Game
There are two locations in the base game offering: the ICA Facility which acts as a Prologue training ground and a Paris fashion show being held in a palace on the banks of the Seine. You can of course approach the trophies for both in any order you like but here is how I recommend you go about it:

STEP 1: Prologue

Play through each of the Prologue missions once. There are only three of them: Guided Training, Freeform Training and The Final Test. To save a little time later, make sure you shoot Ritter in the first mission then kill him dressed as Norfolk in the second and use the Ejector Seat kill in the Final Test. See the Guide for more detailed methods of what to do.

STEP 2: Prologue Clean-Up

Return to and replay both Freeform Training and The Final Test to knock-out some of the more specific Prologue based trophies like: Silent Assassin, Defection Deterred and Tools of the Trade. The ICA Facility levels do a good job of arming you up for the much larger Paris location later on so spend a bit of time here before moving on.

STEP 3: Paris Opportunities

Head to Paris and play through The Showstopper. I recommend experimenting a bit before following the methods I have outlined if you are not in too much of a hurry. If you are in a rush however, concentrate first on completing the 8 different 'Opportunities' available to work towards So Many Ways to Stop the Show. Doing so will jump start your rank mastery and gear unlocks which will come in handy later.

STEP 4: Paris Challenges

Once you have the opportunities sorted out, concentrate on completing challenges. Go for the 5,000 XP one's first and work your way down. Your aim to get your Paris Level Mastery up to 20. While doing this, pick off any of the trophies you have left when it suits, like 'Mr Reaper' when you are up at the auction.

STEP 5: Contracts/Online
Online Connection Required: The Contract related trophies are all easy enough once you know how to approach them. New Escalations and Featured Contracts are added to the game weekly so there will be no shortage of opportunities to work on them. Follow the guide below for more info on each.

WALKTHROUGH

Part Two: DLC Episodes

Each new DLC Episode adds a new location to the base game offering and each one adds seven new trophies to go for: 5, 1 and 1. They tend to follow a certain pattern in what they are as well. This means you can approach each Episode in a similar way. You can of course approach the trophies in any order you like but here is how I'd recommend you go about it:

STEP 1: Complete The Main Mission

Play through and complete the headlining mission first. Pick an Opportunity or two and follow them through the level. This will give you a jump start on a couple of the other trophies as well as netting you your first bronze.

STEP 2: Complete The Opportunities

Replay the mission a few times, completing one or two new Opportunities in each run through. Have a lot at the full list and plan ahead to see if two can be easily combined in a single run. Doing this could be the difference between playing the level five times or less or eight to ten times. Also, make sure to follow an Opportunity string fully once you start. Go to every location or interaction marked by the little bell symbol. Don't deviate or jump ahead or you are in danger of not registering that the opportunity has been properly completed. Stick with one until its finished before moving on.

STEP 3: Complete The Set Kills Trophy

Each new Episode tends to include a trophy for complete a set of particular kills, generally three and they tend to be tied in some way to some of the Opportunities. See 'The Sapienza Trilogy' for a good example. Having completed the Opportunities, your knowledge of the new location and how it fits together will make going for this trophy much easier. The kills do not all have to be in a single playthrough, so concentrate on one at a time.

STEP 4: Complete An Escalation Contract

Online Connection Required: New locations tend to launch with at least one new Escalation Contract included and a trophy for completing an Escalation in that location. This should be your next port of call. You should have a good grasp of the new play area by now which will be a big help on these contracts. Remember, you can complete any Escalation in the new location to pick up the trophy so if one doesn't suit you for some reason then others will be added over time.

STEP 5: Challenges and Clean-Up

Lastly, you will have to earn XP in the new location to rank up your mastery to level 20. The easiest ways to do this is to complete high level Challenges, complete Escalation Contracts and complete Elusive Targets based in that location. Pick and choose the challenges that earn you the most (5,000 XP) and work from there. There will also generally be a trophy attached to one of the challenges. Use this time to pick that up as well along the way. Once you hit Rank 20 Mastery, you should be done.

IMPORTANT NOTE

People have been having issues with completing some Opportunities/registering them as complete. It is important that you follow each one from start to finish without deviating or jumping ahead. When you load up a game, press the and select the 'Opportunity' you want to do at the start and turn on the option to track it then follow the tracking carefully from waypoint to waypoint. If you find yourself doing something other than what is shown on the top left of the screen, you have gone wrong somewhere along the line. Take your time and listen to all relevant conversations fully along the way. Lastly, follow these cardinal rules:

1: Don't load or reload saves mid game but if you mess up, then go back and start again.
2: Try to only play while connected to the servers. Online and Offline don't play well together.
3: While not mandatory, finishing out the playthrough is recommended for better tracking.

Hitman (2016) Trophy Guide

Printable Guide
Show completed trophies
Show secret trophies

69 trophies ( 11  52  19  )

  • Complete Freeform Training in the Prologue.

The second mission that becomes available to you in the Prologue is a repeat of the first but allows you to approach it in any way you like. There are many ways you can play through this mission but I recommend that you use the method outlined for the Unexpected Guest trophy and get both trophies at the same time.
  • Complete The Final Test in the Prologue.

The last of the three missions that become available to you in the Prologue again allows you to approach it in any way you like. There are many ways you can play through this mission but I recommend that you use the method outlined for the K-36D trophy and get both trophies at the same time.
  • Complete any Opportunity in The Final Test.

There are 4 opportunities available in the "Final Test" mission for you to take advantage of. To get this trophy you only have to complete one of the following:

Step 1: Final Terms - Gets Jasper Knight alone in the Radio Room.
Step 2: Safe Conduct - Gets Jasper Knight and the Colonel to the Projector Room.
Step 3: Safety First - Puts Jasper Knight at your mercy in the jets Ejector Seat.
Step 4: To Fallen Comrades - Gets Jasper Knight alone in the toilet by using Poisoned Vodka.

I recommend that you use the methods outlined for either the K-36D or Defection Deterred trophies, that way you can get a few trophies done at the same time.
  • Complete the Contract Creation tutorial.

The Contract Creation tutorial is on one of the first tabs of the Contracts menu and it's just there to quickly run you through creating a contract mission based on the Freeform Training level. Simply follow the prompts to quickly work your way through. When you board the yacht, two opportunities will present themselves: Playful Assassin and Skilled Assassin (I chose skilled as it's quicker). Once you get near the exit, you will be prompted to attempt the other option. You don't have to do this. Choose to play on and hit the exit button to finish.
  • Complete The Final Test unspotted. Kill only Jasper Knight, ensuring his body is not found.

By the nature of Hitman's sandbox levels, there are a multiple ways to fulfil the conditions of this trophy. Below is the method I used:

Step 1: From the start, head to the right. There is a climbable fence that you can use to access the compound. Using cover, move around to another climbable dance to that puts you in the area to the right of the hanger.

Step 2: There is a generator here. Turn it off to attract a nearby soldier. When he arrives, knock him out, take his uniform and hide his body in the nearby chest. Now head into the hanger via the nearby window.

Step 3: There is a small kitchen area midway through the building just beyond the reception area. Take the Vodka bottle from the table and head up to Jasper Knights office. Inside the restroom you will find some rat poison (there is another box directly downstairs as well). Get it and head back into the office. Put the bottle onto the tray at the back of the room and poison the left glass. (Make sure nobody is watching you). Now wait for Jasper.

Step 4: First, make sure to check that the KGB Colonel is not about to head anywhere near the restroom then when Jasper returns/is watching, go to the chessboard and move the Queen to solve the game. Jasper will come over to check the board. Go to the Vodka. He will come over and have a celebratory drink and then the poison kicks in, he will head to the restroom. Follow him, then kill him and hide his body in the crate.

    Step 5: Exit the level.

Here is a video showing how I did it:

  • Arrange matters so that a guard finds a discarded weapon and moves it into the hangar.

When soldiers or guards see a suspicious weapon lying on the ground, they will take it away to a weapon drop box somewhere deeper within the level. For this one, you have to make sure the weapon is found somewhere in the grounds outside the hanger. Here’s how I did it:
From the start, head around to the left side of the hanger. Take out the guard with the clipboard checking the truck out and take his uniform. The pacing soldier is the one you want to see the weapon. Wait until he is walking back away from the guardhouse and take out any gun (the guard you took the uniform from had a pistol). Drop it so that the soldier will walk over it on his way back towards you but don't stand too near to it. When he sees it, he will pick it up and bring it to the box on the ground floor of the hanger on the opposite side of the map. Once he puts it in the box then the trophy will pop.

  • Change your disguise during The Final Test.

There are several disguises available to you in the Final Test level. Two of the easy to get ones are the Guard uniform and the Soldier uniform. You can get:
    - The guard uniform off the guy in the guardhouse at the very start, just distract the other guard with a shiny coin before taking him out.
    - The guard uniform off the guy with the clipboard to the left side of the level. Just make sure nobody is watching as you approach him, now hide his body in the nearby crate once you've dealt with him.
    - The soldier uniform is easiest to get off the guy in the alley at the front right of the hanger. Climb over the fences and turn off the generator to lure him to you. Hide his body in the nearby crate.
Whichever way you go, this trophy will pop once you change clothes for the first time.
  • Complete Level 5 of an Escalation Contract set in the ICA Facility.

Escalation Contracts are sets of levels where conditions are gradually ramped up in complexity e.g. Level 1 will require you to do one thing, Level 2 will require two etc. The only currently available Escalation Contract (at least at the time of writing) is called The Snorrason Ascension. It uses the "Final Test" map from the Prologue.

Here are the conditions for each of the five levels:

    Level 1
    - Kill Target: Cilas Netzke - KGB Colonel. Disguise: Soviet Soldier Weapon: Pistol

Method: From the start, head to the alley the right of the hanger. You will have to climb over the fences. Use the generator to lure the soldier to you. Take his uniform and head up to the Commodore’s office (where Jasper Knight is). Wait for your target there. Shoot him when he goes into the toilet.

    Level 2
    - Kill Target: Cilas Netzke - KGB Colonel. Disguise: Soviet Soldier Weapon: Pistol
    - PLUS: Break into the Safe.

Method: Same as before but after you kill him take his uniform. Use it to get into the Radio Room on the opposite side of the hanger. The key to the safe is on the desk. Head back to the Commodore's office. The safe is on the back wall.

    Level 3
    - Kill Target: Cilas Netzke - KGB Colonel. Disguise: Soviet Soldier Weapon: Pistol
    - Break into the Safe.
    - PLUS: Kill Target: Moses Butusov - Jasper Knights Bodyguard. Disguise: Hanger Mechanic Weapon: Any.

Method: When you get to the generator, do not lure the soldier but go past him though the window. Now continue along the right side of the building into the locker room. There is a mechanic's uniform on a bench on the left. Now go up to the office and wait. When Jasper leaves for a smoke and the Colonel goes towards the toilet, you will be able to take out the soldier using the garrotte. Take his uniform and shoot the Colonel in the toilet. Make sure to get the soldiers body into the toilet out of sight before Jasper returns. From here you just need to open the safe and exit the level.

    Level 4
    - Kill Target: Cilas Netzke - KGB Colonel. Disguise: Soviet Soldier Weapon: Pistol
    - Break into the Safe.
    - Kill Target: Moses Butusov - Jasper Knights Bodyguard. Disguise: Hanger Mechanic Weapon: Any
    - PLUS: Hide all bodies within 90 seconds.

Method: The method doesn't change here. you just have to make sure you hide the two bodies in the chest in the toilet before the timer runs out. There’s plenty of time, don't worry.

    Level 5
    - Kill Target: Cilas Netzke - KGB Colonel. Disguise: Soviet Soldier Weapon: Pistol
    - Break into the Safe.
    - Kill Target: Moses Butusov - Jasper Knights Bodyguard. Disguise: Hanger Mechanic Weapon: Any
    - Hide all bodies within 90 seconds.
    - PLUS: No Pacifications - Only your targets can be killed or knocked out.

Method: The method doesn't change here either as you never knock out or kill anyone other than the two targets.

Once you clear Level 5, the trophy is yours.
  • Complete 10 Contracts.

Any of the Contracts available in Contracts mode will, once completed, count towards this trophy. You have to complete 10 separate contracts, repeating the same contract won't work. The quickest way to get this is to head into the Latest Contracts tab. As with most user generated level based modes, you will find a lot of quick and very basic levels thrown up that you can take advantage of. Look for ones with a single target, pistol kills or ones that have 'quick' or 'easy' in the title but remember that only completed contracts count. 10 is not a lot to play anyway so whether you play them as they come or cherry pick the short ones, this trophy won't take you too long. Keep an eye on the score conditions of the contracts as you play through, as you may be able to pick up a high score and grab another trophy at the same time.

    See Top of the Class.
  • Set the high score on a Contract.

To get this trophy, you have to place first on a contract's leaderboard and there also has to already be at least one score on it already as being first onto a leaderboard won't count. With a constant stream of new player created contracts, you have will have plenty of underpopulated leaderboards to have a crack at. The quickest way to get this is to head into the Latest Contracts tab. As with most user generated level based modes, you’ll find a lot of quick and very basic levels thrown up that you can take advantage of. Pay attention to how you should take out the target or targets. If it says to use a certain weapon and/or disguise, make sure to two so. Here are a few things to do to maximise your scores:
1 - Only Kill your targets.
2 - If possible, hide all bodies.
    3 - Don't get spotted.
4 - Only kill your targets in the specified way (weapon, gear, disguise)
5 - Try to do it relatively quickly.
Keep these in mind and stick to newly minted contracts and you should have no problem getting to the top of the leaderboard.
  • Complete a Featured Contract.

Featured Contracts are just normal Contracts that are highlighted by the developers. There will be a selection to choose from in the Featured Contract tab so you are not bound to having to finish one particular mission. Have a quick look through them before you start. If you have already played through the main missions a few times (and you should really do that first), you should be able to get a feel for which ones are relatively easy or more difficult or time consuming. To do one quickly, go for one with only one or two targets or one where the targets are generally close together. You can also potentially change you starting location (once you have them unlocked) to make it that you start closer to your targets. Scores, kill conditions and leaderboard placing don’t matter here. All you have to do is complete the mission and the trophy is yours.
  • Assassinate Targets with Ballistic, Accident and Explosion Kills.

For this trophy, you have to perform three different classes of assassinations:

Ballistic Kill: Any gun can be used but the silenced pistol is recommended.
Accidental Kill: Any of the environmental deaths or mechanical deaths work here.
Explosive Kill: The death has to be caused directly by an explosion.

If you follow the Road Map when starting out, then you probably only need the explosive kill to complete the set. For the Ballistic Kill shoot Ritter at the end of the first level. For the Accidental Kill, use the Ejector Seat in the Final Exam.

The explosive kill takes a little bit of setting up to work reliably. I found the easiest place to one is in Freeform Training.

Step 1: Take the remote explosive at the start. Get yourself a guard uniform and get on board the yacht. Make your way to Ritter's office and enter through the open window.

Step 2: When facing the computer, turn right and place the explosive on that panel low and out of sight. Ritter will stand near the computer so place it accordingly.

Step 3: You could now wait for Norfolk to meet him and go to the office but for a quicker method, go to the bottom deck. Beside the front door of the engine room you will find a fire alarm. Press it and quickly move toward an exit point. Once you are clear, you should be able to see that Ritter has been rushed to his office for safety. Light him up and the trophy should be yours.
  • Assassinate a Target without getting spotted.

You will pick up this trophy relatively quickly just by playing through the game naturally. If you follow the guidance given for the very first mission, then you will easily get this one right there. Just make sure that Norfolk isn't watching as you headshot Ritter and you should be able to make a clean getaway.

Secret trophies

  • Disguise yourself as Mr. Norfolk and assassinate Kalvin Ritter.

This trophy is best attempted in during the Freeform Training mission in the Prologue. Mr. Norfolk is the character wearing the white suit and cowboy hat that comes to the Yacht to meet with your target Kalvin Ritter. At the start of the mission he can be found on the dockside, having a smoke beside a car to the right of the gangway. There are two main ways to get his disguise:

Method 1: While on the dockside, lure Norfolk behind the buildings/fences opposite the yacht. Use the three coins you find at the start to get him alone and out of sight. After knocking him out and taking his clothes, you can go straight on board to meet up with Ritter. After a quick conversation, he will lead you to his office where you are free to take him out however you like.

Method 2: Make your way onto the yacht and get yourself a white deck staff uniform. You can find one in some crew quarters on the lowest deck or take one from the cook in the galley. Next, go and get the rat poison from the room on the lowest deck near the front of the yacht. After boarding, Norfolk goes to the bar for a drink before meeting Ritter but since he is a chain smoker, he will come and go from his drink at the bar a few times. While he is away, use the rat poison to spike his drink. When he drinks, he will feel ill and head to the toilet. Follow him, knock him out and take his disguise. From there all you have to do is meet Ritter, follow him to his office and take him out.

Here is a video showing how I did it:

  • Assassinate Jasper Knight with a sabotaged ejector seat.

During the "Final Test" mission during the Prologue, you can discover the ejector seat opportunity by going to the left from the mission start point. As you climb the fence, you will overhear two mechanics talking about having to walk your target Jasper Knight through a safety check of how to use the ejector seat. From there, use the following method:

Step 1: Get yourself a disguise to get access to the hanger. Handily, there is a guard checking out the contents of a truck just beyond where you overhear the mechanics.

Step 2: Once inside the hanger, head towards the jet. There is a safety checklist on the boxes to the left side of the cockpit and after interacting with it, you need to find a mechanics disguise and a wrench. Both can be found in a room nearby on the left side of the hanger. Take out the mechanic, take his clothes and hide his body in the nearby chest. Take the nearby wrench and head back to the jet.

Step 3: On the right side of the jet, there is an open panel just below the cockpit. Interact with it using the wrench to sabotage the ejector seat. You have to time this well, as there are two mechanics that will find you suspicious if they see you messing with it.

Step 4: Once the ejector seat is primed, go and meet Jasper Knight upstairs to get him to do the safety check. He will either be smoking on the walkway or inside the main corner office. Bring him down and walk him through the checklist towards his demise.

    Step 5: Exit the level.

Here is a video showing how I did it:

  • Arrange matters so that the KGB Colonel kills Jasper Knight.

During the "Final Test" mission in the Prologue you can set up a scenario where your target, Jasper Knight, is taken out by your unwitting accomplice, the KGB Colonel. My preferred method is below:

Step 1: From the start, head to the right. There is a climbable fence that you can use to access the compound. Using cover, move around to another climbable dance to that puts you in the area to the right of the hanger.

Step 2: There is a generator here. Turn it off to attract a nearby soldier. When he arrives, knock him out, take his uniform and hide his body in the nearby chest. Now head into the hanger via the nearby window.

Step 3: On the ground floor inside, you will overhear two guards at a reception desk talking about slides. This is the opportunity you are pursuing. As you are in a soldiers uniform, you can take the slides without alarming anyone. Take them upstairs and place them into the projector.

Step 4: Wait. One of two things will happen. Either Jasper Knight will see the projector is now running first and come over or the KGB Colonel will see the projector is running and go and get Jasper. Either way, they will start a conversation while watching the projection.

Step 5: Before they finish, go out outside using the nearby door. There is a breaker box here on the wall, trip it to cut the power to the projector then Jasper Knight will open up the projector and attempt to get it working again. Meanwhile the KGB Colonel will come out to check the breaker and when he turns it back on, Jasper will be electrocuted.

    Step 6: Exit the level.

Here is a video showing how I did it:

  • Pacify any individual.

This trophy will pop the first time you knock someone out. If you follow the guided tutorial mission that starts the game, then you will get this trophy when you knock out the mechanic and take his clothes.

DLC: Hitman Paris

7 trophies

  • Complete The Showstopper.

You will get this when you finish The Showstopper for the first time, regardless of how you complete the mission. Both targets (Viktor Novikov and Dalia Margolis) have to be dead, how is up to you. I recommend using a couple of the 'Opportunities' to take them out as you will have to do them anyway later on. I followed the "A Drink to Die For' and '15 Seconds of Fame' opportunities for my first play through.

For more info, see So Many Ways to Stop the Show.
  • Complete all Opportunities in The Showstopper.

There are 8 opportunities available in the The Showstopper:

1: 15 Seconds of Fame - Model Meeting - Dalia
2: A Drink to Die For - Poisoned Cocktail - Viktor
    3: A Private Meeting - Viktor
    4: A Quick Break - Laptop - Dalia
    5: A Rare Scoop - TV Crew - Viktor
6: Guest of Honor - Sheik - Dalia
7: Lights Out - Drop the Light Rig - Viktor
8: Playing with Fire - Fireworks - Dalia or/and Viktor

You can easily work your way through them by tracking them as you start the level. Press the touchpad to bring up the menu and go to the Opportunities tab. Select one and it will be highlighted in the mission. Follow the prompts to create an opportunity. Most of them will complete before you actually use them to make a kill (Guest of Honor for instance unlocks once you get into the auction room) but you have to finish the mission to save them.

I did all 8 in just 5 playthroughs:

01: A Drink to Die For followed by 15 Seconds of Fame.
02: A Private Meeting followed by A Quick Break.
03: Guest of Honor followed by A Rare Scoop.
04: Lights Out on its own.
05: Playing with Fire on its own.

Once you stay away from the second Opportunity start point and don't take too long, you can can easily do them in pairs and after all 8 have been unlocked then the trophy will be yours.

Escalation Contracts are sets of levels where conditions are gradually ramped up in complexity over the course of 5 levels e.g. Level 1 will require you to do one thing, Level 2 will require two etc. The first available Escalation Contracts in Paris are called The Mandelbulb Requiem and The Holmwood Disturbance, but new one's will cycle through regularly.

Here is a set of videos playing through The Mandelbulb Requiem:

  • Select a Starting Location and use an Agency Pickup to smuggle an item into Paris.

As you complete any of the challenges or feats listed for each level, you earn XP towards your rank mastery of that location. As you rank up, you will unlock new gear and get access to more varied options for your starting conditions: start location, dead drops etc.
To get this trophy you will first have to had unlocked at least one start location, one agency pickup point and a spare piece of gear or weaponry. Once you have those (it won't take long, play through the mission a few different ways) go into the planning tab of the briefing before you next replay the level. Change the start location and smuggle an item into whatever Agency Pickup you have available. Make sure you do both or it won't count, they are the first two tabs in the planning section so you can't miss them then simply select to play the level. The trophy will pop before you start so you don't actually have to play through it if you don't want to.
  • Reach Paris Mastery Level 20.

This will probably be the last trophy you get in this DLC, as it requires the most time but don't worry about it too much until you have the rest of the trophies out of the way. You can earn earn XP towards the mastery of a level by completing the challenges listed for it. There are enough challenges available in the Paris location to reach Rank 20 a few times over, so pick and choose as you like.

Each challenge is worth a different amount of XP, varying from 1,000 to 5,000. If you follow the Roadmap for this guide, you will work through the opportunities first. Doing this will get you started ranking up fairly quickly, as they basically walk you through some of the challenges. And when first starting out, you will generally finish your mission having complete several challenges in one run. Challenges can only be completed and counted once so varying your playstyle as much as possible is recommended. Try approaching things using different routes or disguises and keep an eye out for anything you can interact with. When all you have left is to finish this trophy, try to cherry pick the high 5,000 point challenges to shorten the time it will take.

Completing Escalation Contracts in a location also add 5000 XP each towards the mastery level and provide a nice method to level up without having to worry about challenges too much. There are currently several available. For full solutions to all the currently available Escalations, follow this link: Escalation Contracts Playlist.

Secret trophies

  • Assassinate Viktor Novikov in a light rig accident.

This is signature kill of this location so here's how to do it:

Step 1: Go around to the rear of the palace. Use the terrace on the right side of the building to to bypass most of the security. You have to be a bit careful but you should be able to take out one of the guards patrolling the area to the right of the helicopter. Take his suit and hide the body in the nearby crate.

Step 2: Go inside to the fashion show. directly behind the catwalk you’ll find the stage plan. Read it. It basically says that if anything happens to Sato the fashion designer, Viktor Novikov would have to fill in for him on stage at the end of the show.

Step 3: Next go into the large room where the models are getting ready for the stage. There is a large glass case with a diorama inside off to one side of the room. Wait behind it for Sato to come near (he stands nearby with his back to the case) then put a coin in when he does.

Step 4: He will get angry and walk over to the right for a drink. Follow him. After he finishes and begins to walk on, knock him out and put him in the nearby crate.

Step 5: From here, make your way to the top floor and enter the attic space. Find a tool (there are plenty around up there) and climb out onto the light rig. Wait here for Viktor Novikov to go out on stage. Once he does, interact with the winch to drop the lights on him.
  • Become Tobias Rieper.

To get this trophy you have to attend the secret auction being hosted by your second target Dalia Margolis on the top floor at the rear of the building. The quickest way to get there is to head directly to the rear right corner of the building near to where the helicopter is parked. Use the terrace on the right side of the building to get around there and you will find a drainpipe that you can use to access the top floor via a balcony.
Once up there, enter the auction room and look for the nearby empty seat that you can use to blend in by sitting down. Dalia will arrive soon after to start the auction, then she will notice you and come over to find out who you are. Once you introduce yourself, the trophy will pop.
Here is a video showing how to do it:

DLC: Sapienza

  • Complete World of Tomorrow.

You will get this when you finish The Showstopper for the first time, regardless of how you complete the mission. Both targets (Silvio Caruso and Francesca De Santis) have to be dead and the virus has to be destroyed. How is up to you. I recommend using a couple of the 'Opportunities' to take them out, as you will have to do them anyway later on. I followed the "First Day on the Job' opportunity for Silvio and 'By Candlelight' for Francesca on my first play through. Take Francesca's lab pass card and finish by destroying the virus.

Any of the opportunities offer you different avenues towards your targets, so take advantage of them. To follow them from the start, pull up the menu via the touchpad and select one to follow. For more info, see Not in the Guidebook.
  • Complete all Opportunities in World of Tomorrow.

There are 10 opportunities available in World of Tomorrow:

1: A Case Most Peculiar - Impersonate Detective - Francesca
2: Absolution - Morgue Raid - Lab Access
3: Beyond the Grave - Dead Mother's Ghost - Silvio
4: By Candlelight - Impersonate Golf Pro - Francesca
    5: Catharsis - Impersonate Psychologist - Silvio
6: First Day on the Job - Poisoned Pasta - Silvio
7: Hostile Environment - Safety Override - Lab Access
    8: Memento - Fireplace Explosion - Francesca
9: Memory Lane - VHS Trap - Silvio
10: The Good Son - Grave Death - Silvio

You can easily work your way through them by tracking them as you start the level. Press the to bring up the menu then go to the Opportunities tab, now select one and it will be highlighted in the mission. Follow the prompts to create an opportunity. Most of them will complete before you actually use them to make a kill (Catharsis, for instance, unlocks once you get into Silvio's room).

Killing a target will lock out all other opportunities related to them for that playthrough but those for other targets will remain usable. This means you can get a few done each time you play if you like but plan it out and you can limit it to five playthroughs since Silvio has to be taken out 5 different ways. After all 10 have been unlocked, the trophy will be yours.

Secret trophies

  • Eliminate Silvio during therapy, down his plane with a cannon and shoot him through the telescope.

For this trophy, you have to kill Silvio Caruso in three particular ways:

    1: During his therapy session.
2: By shooting down his plane while he flees.
3: By shooting him with a rifle through his telescope.

You can do each from the start but you must have a sniper rifle unlocked for the final one. If you have cleared Paris then you probably have the Jaeger 7 and this is the preferred rifle because it's silenced. Another sniper can be unlocked by reaching Rank 20 Mastery in Sapienza which is not silenced but has zoom if you are struggling to hit your target.

Comprehensive methods for each one are shown in the following video:

  • This trophy is a unlocked by finding a nice little Easter Egg in the harbour. You will have to have a sniper rifle unlocked for this one. If you have cleared Paris, you probably have the Jaeger 7. This is the preferred rifle as it's silenced. Another sniper can be unlocked by reaching Rank 20 Mastery in Sapienza which is not silenced but has zoom if you are struggling to hit the bells.

Follow the video guide below for how to get you and your rifle to a good vantage point. There are four bells hanging from the ship moored in the harbour. You have to ring each one, but in a particular order. You can miss shots in between but take your time. If you run out of bullets, you will have to restart.

Bell 1: This one is hanging midway up the rear mast.
Bell 2: This one is hanging from the very front tip of the bow.
Bell 3: This one is hanging from the very top of the front mast.
Bell 4: The last one is hanging from the front corner of the cabin roof.

Shoot all of them to 'Unleash the Kraken'!

If you're doing something other than what is shown on the top left of the screen, you have gone wrong somewhere. Take your time and listen to all relevant conversations fully along the way. Lastly, follow these cardinal rules:

1: Don't load or reload saves mid-game but If you mess up, then go back and start again.

Secret trophies

  • Assassinate Zaydan, as the prisoner, Strandberg during his massage, and both with the APC turret.

For this trophy, you have to kill your targets in three particular ways:

1: Zaydan while posing as his prisoner.
2: Strandberg while giving him a massage.
3: Both targets by using the APC Turret Cannon.

You can do each one straight from the start but it helps to have unlocked the school as a starting point (Zaydan’s compound). Having access to the Elite soldier uniform from the off saves a nice chunk of time. If you have not levelled up enough, then you can always 'appropriate' one using the usual methods. Comprehensive guides for each of the three kills are shown in the following video:

  • Demonstrate Generosity

This trophy is a unlocked by interacting with an NPC beggar in the Bazaar. You will need to have five coins on you so bring three to start with. You can find two more in front of a 'Fountain Dew' machine on the far side of the Bazaar. Follow the video guide below for the location of the beggar and the extra coins. There are also five other coins available on the counter of the Shoe Shop that hides the entrance to the escape tunnel. Getting them is slightly more trouble but the option is there if you prefer it.
Bring your five coins back to the beggar and throw them onto his dish to 'Demonstrate Generosity'!

  • Select a Starting Location and use an Agency Pickup to smuggle an item into Bangkok.

As you complete any of the challenges or feats listed for each level, you earn XP towards your rank mastery of that location. As you rank up, you will unlock new gear and gain access to more varied options for your starting conditions: start location, dead drops etc.
To get this trophy you will first have to had unlocked at least one start location, one agency pickup point and a spare piece of gear or weaponry. Once you have those (it won't take long, just play through the mission a few different ways) go into the planning tab of the briefing before you next replay the level. Change the start location and smuggle an item into whatever Agency Pickup you have available. Make sure you do both or they won't count but they are the first two tabs in the planning section so you can't miss them then simply select to play the level. The trophy will pop before you start so you don't actually have to play through it if you don't want to.
  • Reach Bangkok Mastery Level 20.

This will probably be the last trophy you get in this DLC, as it requires the most time but don't worry about it too much until you have the rest of the trophies out of the way. You can earn earn XP towards the mastery of a level by completing the challenges listed for it. There are enough challenges available in the Marrakesh location to reach Rank 20 a few times over so pick and choose as you like.

Each challenge is worth a different amount of XP, varying from 1,000 to 5,000. If you follow the Roadmap for this guide, you will work through the opportunities first. Doing this will get you started ranking up fairly quickly as they basically walk you through some of the challenges. When first starting out, you will generally finish your mission having complete several challenges in one run.

Completing Escalation Contracts in a location also add 5,000 XP each towards the Mastery Level and provide a nice method to level up without having to worry about challenges too much. There are currently several available and for full solutions to all the currently available Escalations, follow this link: Escalation Contracts Playlist.

  • Eliminate both Morgan and Cross in a fall accident and both by dropping a coconut on their heads.

For this trophy, you have to kill your targets in three particular ways:

1: Morgan using a fall accident.
2: Cross using a fall accident.
3: Both targets by using the hanging coconuts.

It is recommended to split the three kills over two separate playthroughs, with the two fall accidents done together in one run and the two coconut kills done together in another.

Comprehensive guides for each of the three/four kills are shown in the following video:

You will then have to gain access to the safe room in the basement in order to finish the level. It's recommended that you use a couple of the 'Opportunities' to take them out, as they will have to be done later on anyway if you are going for every trophy. Each of the opportunities offer a different avenue towards your targets, so take advantage of them. To follow one from the start, pull up the menu via the and select one to follow.

For more info, see A Feather in Your Cap.
