Introduction:

25 years after the events of the Habroxia, a growing concern about the status of the enemy aliens results in a scouting party being sent to find information on their whereabouts. Fortunately, all but one of the Scouts returned. Unfortunately, that missing Scout is the father of Sabrina, a talented pilot who refuses to let her old man disappear without a fight. Following an SOS signal he left before going silent, Sabrina will travel across Space to find and fight, some familiar alien faces as well as some new ones. Eager to rescue her father, she'll need to move quickly and swiftly. Otherwise, it's not guaranteed she'll see her father again.

Walkthrough:

Step 1: Play through the game

You'll need to complete the Campaign once before you'll unlock New Game+, Boss Rush mode and Boost Mode. As you work your way through each level, be sure to look out for the 12 Astronauts and the 12 Enemy Bounties. There is one of each in the regular 12 campaign levels. You don't have to get them all here but go for as many as you can to make cleanup easier. Don't spend any money until you've accumulated 1,000 in your wallet. Once you have that trophy out of the way, you can spend freely/however you wish. You'll earn all of the boss-related trophies along the way and possibly a few of the miscellaneous trophies, depending on how attentive you are to them. Don't fret too much if you miss any though, as they're all easy to clean up afterward.

Once you've completed the Campaign the first time, you will have earned:

Show You the Way trophy_bronze.png

Step 2: New Game+

Now that you're done with your first playthrough, you'll have unlocked New Game+. All of your upgrades will carry over as well as any money you had leftover in your wallet so you'll start this mode off already pretty well armed. If you find yourself struggling at all, spend a few minutes grinding out some of the easier levels to get money for upgrades.

Once you've completed New Game+, you will earn:

She's Gone trophy_silver.png
Just Say Goodbye trophy_gold.png

Step 3: Boss Rush Mode and Boost Mode

There are two additional game modes available once you complete the Campaign the first time. Boss Rush Mode is endless so you'll just be aiming for a score (20,000) and Boost Mode is a short but challenging mode that will more than likely take you a few tries to complete. See both of those respective trophies for more details regarding them.

Once you've completed the extra modes, you will have unlocked:

Haste Make trophy_silver.png
To Death With You trophy_silver.png

Step 4: Clean-up

If you didn't already get all of the Astronauts or Bounties, you can use chapter select to get them (they can be picked up in normal or New Game+). You will have more than likely earned the majority of the miscellaneous trophies as you played through your two campaign runs but if you're still missing anything, the recommended chapters for each are provided under their respective trophies.

Once you've cleaned up the last of the extra tasks, you will have earned:

44 trophies ( 10  29  22  )

  • Earn all other Trophies.

Congratulations! You completed your adventure and defeated the enemy aliens once again. It may be a bittersweet victory but the history books will be kind to you. As a reward for all your efforts, you have earned yourself this Platinum.
  • Remember the Proxima Centurai Incident.

    Story Related

This trophy is an Easter Egg for Twin Breaker, another game developed by Lillymo. There will be a few times while playing through the game when two rectangular neon ships will appear. These are Greetings and Salutations, the two ships featured in Twin Breaker. When they appear, the trophy will unlock.

The most notable location these appear is when you rescue the Astronaut in Level 5A: Proving Grounds.
  • Fail to complete a level.

To fail a level, you just need to die. While your goal is to kill everything and make it to the end, do the opposite. Let all the enemies attacks hit you, fly into asteroids etc. Basically get hit by everything you possibly can. When your health bar is fully depleted, you'll explode and get the "level failed" screen. The trophy will unlock when it appears.
  • Finish a level with 25 health (or less).

You can do this on any level but it's recommended you do it on Level 1. Try and avoid getting hit until you reach one of the final bosses. Get their health down so they only need 1-2 hits left, then just run into their attacks until you have less than 25 HP. Thor as an example will do 20 damage to you each time he hits you so you can do the math from that to see how much you need to get hit to get under 25. Once you're low enough, finish off the boss and when you get to the level complete screen, the trophy will unlock.
  • Rescue a Lost Astronaut.

    See Homesick trophy_silver.png
  • Achieve an S rank on any level.

You only need to get an S rank on one level in the entire game, which will undoubtedly happen naturally. If you find yourself struggling to make the grade, focus on completing the game and upgrading your ship. When you have better weapons/armor, replay level 1 and just annihilate everything in your path. When you're done, you'll have your S rank and this trophy will unlock.
  • Finish the tutorial.

    Story Related.

When you first start up the game, you'll automatically start in the Tutorial. Simply finish it to unlock the trophy.
  • Kill 10 Lost Astronauts.

You monster. You can do this on any level or any mix of levels. You just need to kill any 10 Astronauts as you play through the game. The Astronauts that appear in the Credits also count towards this trophy so if you don't want to take a risk during the actual Campaign, there are more than enough Astronauts in the Credits to get you this trophy, even more so since you'll have to play through the Credits twice (once after your initial run and once after you complete New Game +). As soon as you've murdered your 10th innocent Astronaut, the trophy will unlock.
  • Successfully hunt a bounty.

  • Discover an alternate route.

    Story Related

The levels that have at least 2 Boss Bounties will have alternate routes you need to take to get to them. The first alternate route is in Level 1, towards about the middle of the level. You'll eventually come to an area where the is a "hole" below you leading to a lower path. Take the lower path and you'll automatically shoot/break the rock walls in front of you. You'll also unlock this trophy.
  • Destroy a boss by boosting.

To boost, press cross.png. For this trophy, you need the final hit on a boss to be your boost. Even if you don't have any upgrade points in your boost, it will last long enough for you to do this. Just get any boss down until they have a sliver of health left, then boost into them. The boost will damage them and if it's the final hit, the trophy will unlock.
  • Complete Boost Rush Mode.

Boost Rush Mode will become available once you've completed the main campaign. The icon for it is located on the far right side of the level select screen. During it, your boost (cross.png) will be constantly on. No special weapons work and the only power-ups that drop will be currency/coins. There are also no enemies. You need to make it from start to finish while avoiding and dodging all of the obstacles in the way. The entire mode is only about a minute long so it's nothing too crazy but the ending does get a little tight so you'll more than likely need to make a few attempts at this to get a feel for the route. Once you've completed the mode, the trophy will unlock.

  • Rescue all Lost Astronauts.

There is 1 Astronaut to rescue in each of the 12 main campaign levels. There are no Astronauts in the 5 mini-boss levels or in the Final Boss level. You can get these on your normal run or on New Game +, it's up to you. You can check which Astronauts you've rescued and which you still need by scrolling over each level. The stats will show you the Astronauts and the Bounties so as long as it shows 1/1 Astronauts, you've rescued them for that level. Once you've saved the final/12th one, the trophy will unlock.

    Their locations are as follows:

    Level 1 (Circumstellar Disc)

At the very start of the level, the Astronaut will be on the lower path. Boost through the rock wall with cross.png or shoot at it to break it.

    Level 2A (Debris Field):

After you make your way through the narrow passage that you break rock walls to pass, the Astronaut will be in plain sight just above you.

    Level 2B (Outer System Oasis)

You'll eventually reach a part with quite a handful of ground/roaming enemies to shoot at and some stalactites and stalagmites to dodge. Just after one of the taller stalagmites will be the Astronaut.

    Level 3A (Orbital Pipeline)

Near the beginning of the level, just after you defeat the first large orange enemy. You'll come to a small area with a handful of radar-enemies. The Astronaut is between the two top ones.

    Level 3B (The Dungeon)

When the level splits, you'll need to take the lower path (so you head towards Frey Ja). Once you're on the lower path, you'll defeat two large orange enemies and come to a laser enemy. Just past it is the Astronaut.

    Level 4A (Interplanetary Space)

After you pass the second set of two large orange enemies, the Astronaut will be floating in the middle of the level. Be careful, as this one is really easy to shoot and kill.

    Level 4B (Academic Dig):

You'll need to take the upper path on this level to reach the Astronaut. The split happens just after the second set of white teleporters that spawn the dark grey enemies. You need to shoot at the ceiling to break the rocks to reveal the path. After you pass by the radar-enemies that shoot the spikes, you'll come to two rocks above you. Between these is the Astronaut.

    Level 4C (Oxygen-rich Moon):

Just before the boss fight with Hulda, you'll have to pass through a section with a handful of enemies shooting down on you from the ceiling. Just after this, you'll fly through a narrow opening to see a radar enemy immediately in front of you. Just after this enemy will be the Astronaut.

    Level 5A (Proving Grounds)

The Astronaut will appear after the level turns from vertical to horizontal. You'll make your way through a narrow passageway and shortly after come to a rock wall you need to shoot/break to get past. Just after this wall is the Astronaut.

    Level 5B Excavated Cavern):

Near the start of the level, you'll pass by two of the white teleporters that spawn enemies. Just after these will be some radar enemies next to a rock above you. Just above the rock will be the Astronaut.

Level 5C (The Halls of Power):

At the beginning of the level, you pass under two narrow holes on the ceiling and shortly after will come to a stalactite hanging down. Just after this will be a smaller rock with the Astronaut above it.

    Level 5D (Inner Sanctum):

After defeating the 3rd and 4th large orange enemies (they'll be together), you'll eventually make your way through a narrow passage with two radar-enemies that will shoot spikes when you get too close. Immediately past these, towards the top, is the Astronaut.

  • Finish Level 1 on New Game+.

  • Achieve an A rank (or higher) in Boss Rush Mode.

Boss Rush Mode unlocks after you complete the Campaign. The icon for it can be found on the far right of the level select map. This Mode is neverending so you don't actually need to "finish" it to get this trophy. This is going to be purely scoring related. To get an A Rank, you need to get a score of at least 20,000. You do get a lot of bonus points after your run ends from accuracy, enemies killed, multipliers etc. so while in the actual game, you want to shoot to end with about 15,000. Once you reach the game over screen and your points are tallied up, if your grade is an A or higher (S), the trophy will unlock.
  • Achieve a 100x combo.

You need to have an active 100x multiplier to get this trophy. Your best bet is to use a level that includes a lot of breakable asteroids and even better if it's a boss fight. One of the 5 final mini-bosses is Skuld (Boss E). This fight is a really good opportunity to get this. The boss is encased in a rock that you need to break to defeat him. During the fight, there are asteroids flying all about. If you focus on breaking the asteroids before going for the boss, you can easily grow your multiplier up to 100+. Just be careful of the blue-ish asteroids as you can't break these with your regular bullets and if you get hit by one, it'll break your multiplier. As soon as you reach 100x, the trophy will unlock.

If you don't want to wait until an end level to get this, you can also try it on the boss fights at the end of 2B and 4B (take the upper pathway of 4B).
  • Complete New Game+.

New Game+ will unlock once you've completed the main story the first time. It's icon will be located on the far right of the level select screen and will be a glowing red anomaly. You'll need to play through the entire game on this mode to unlock the trophy. Luckily, all of your upgrades carry over as well as your wallet so you should be pretty powerful by the time you go for this. You will still be allowed to purchase upgrades after each level as well, giving you ample opportunity to max out a few of your most beneficial stats (Shot Power, Shot Spread, Fire Rate and Additional Health). The difficulty will increase slightly (additional enemies, more aggressive enemies etc.) but you shouldn't have too much trouble with them. You can repeat any level you need to should you fail or want/need to get coins for upgrades. If you're still missing any Astronauts (for Homesick trophy_silver.png) or Bounties (for The Hunter trophy_gold.png), you can get them in this mode and they'll still count towards your overall total.

Once you've completed the Campaign and have defeated the final boss, the trophy will unlock.
  • Hold more than 1,000 credits at once.

You earn credits by playing through the game and getting a good score in each level (the higher the grade, the bigger the bonus credit prize you'll receive). For this trophy, you need to have 1,000 credits on your person at one single time. It's highly recommended you do this as early as possible. You can even just grind Level 1 a few times to get the required amount, then spend it all on upgrades. This trophy will unlock mid-level if you happen hit 1,000 while playing a level and if you exit out/fail a level, any currency you picked up will remain in your wallet/be saved.
  • Successfully hunt all bounties.

Only the Enemy Bounties count for this trophy. The Boss Bounties do not. Like the Astronauts, each of the main 12 campaign levels will have 1 Enemy Bounty for you to find and kill. The enemy required is a set one and will usually have a different color or graphic compared to similar enemies around it. If you're having any trouble, their locations have been provided below. Once you've collected the final/12th bounty, the trophy will unlock.

    Their locations are as follows:

    Level 1 (Circumstellar Disc):

Shortly after the start of the level, you'll pass by some mushroom enemies and fly into a more open-space area. You'll pass by about 4-5 large floating rocks and come to 3 enemies sitting on the wall in front of you. Just past these are 2 ground enemies. The leftmost ground enemy is the Bounty.

    Level 2A (Debris Field):

Just after the Astronaut in this level, you'll fly through an open area and come to a 3-way split path. Take the center path and follow it all the way up. At the top will be a flying enemy that if left alive, will rush towards you. This is the Bounty.

    Level 2B (Outer System Oasis):

This Bounty will be right before the Astronaut. You'll pass by a row of green beetle-like enemies and eventually go through a small gap being blocked by a laser enemy. Immediately after this laser enemy is an enemy sitting on the wall. This is the Bounty.

    Level 3A (Orbital Pipeline):

Just after the start of the level, you'll defeat 4 spinning fan-like enemies then come to 2 enemies that will charge at you if you don't kill them quick enough. The second of these is the Bounty.

    Level 3B (The Dungeon):

Not too long after the level starts, you'll pass between 2 ground enemies with 3 radar enemies above them. Just after these will be a laser enemy and finally 2 rounded enemies that shoot pink orbs at you. The second of these rounded enemies is the Bounty.

    Level 4A (Interplanetary Space):

Not too long into the level, you'll have to take out a handful of spinning fan-like enemies. Just after these, 3 fly-like enemies will appear. 2 will be green-tinted and 1 will be pink-tinted. The pink-tinted enemy is the Bounty.

    Level 4B (Academic Dig):

Just after the start of the level, you have to defeat 2 groups of squid-like enemies. The second ground will be in a flying V formation. All of the enemies will be blue except for the last one, which will be red. This is the Bounty.

    Level 4C (Oxygen-rich Moon):

Just before the Astronaut in this level will be the Bounty. You'll pass by some white teleporters that are spawning some flying red enemies. The next teleporters you come to will be spawning fly-like enemies vertically (they're flying down). All of the enemies flying down will have a green thrust color except for one, which will have a purple color. This one is the Bounty.

    Level 5A (Proving Grounds):

Not too far into the level, you'll pass through a rock wall and have to take out 3 sets of 2 triangular-enemies flying straight down and shooting at you. Just after these, you'll come to 3 pink enemies and 1 green enemy (they all share the same graphic). The green enemy is the Bounty.

    Level 5B (Excavated Cavern):

Just after the Astronaut in this level, you'll come to 3 rounded enemies and a radar enemy. The first 2 rounded enemies will have a pink center and the 3rd one will have a blue center. This one is the Bounty.

Level 5C (The Halls of Power):

After the Astronaut, continue through the level and you'll eventually come to 4 spinning fan-like enemies. 3 of them will have an orange center and the last one will have a pink center. This one is the Bounty.

    Level 5D (Inner Sanctum):

Near the start of the level, the first large orange enemy you come across is the Bounty.

Secret trophies

  • Defeat the Guardian of the Ore.

    Story Related

The Guardian of the Ore is one of two bosses in the first level. This one is at the end of the upper path when it splits.

Due to it being the first level, he won't be too difficult to take down. In the first half of the fight, he'll shoot seeking missiles at you as he moves across the top of the play area. Just keep making circular motions to evade them while shooting him to burn him down. When he reaches 50%, he'll move to the bottom of the play area. He'll follow you and after a few seconds, will rush up towards you. Move out of the way when he does and continue to shoot him when he's back on the bottom. Repeat this process until you've defeated him, When you do, the trophy will unlock.
  • Defeat the Asteroid Destroyer.

    Story Related

The Asteroid Destroyer is one of two bosses in the first level. This one is at the end of the lower path when it splits.

Because it's the first level, this boss won't be too difficult to take down. Just be mindful of the asteroids flying around. If you break them up, they have a chance to drop power-ups that will aid you in the actual fight. The boss starts off on the far right side and will move vertically. Stay on the far left of the play area as after a few seconds, he'll rush towards you but will stop at about the 3/4 mark and slowly make his way back to the right. Just keep shooting him to burn him down. When he gets to 50%, he'll move to the top of the play area and will begin shooting groups of orbs down. Dodge these accordingly and fire at him when you get an opening. Burn him down and when he's been defeated, the trophy will unlock.
  • Defeat the Sorter of Value.

    Story Related.

The Sorter of Value is Tyr and is found at the end of Level 2A (unlocked by taking the upper path in Level 1). Tyr will start at the top of the screen and slowly make their way down as they move back and forth. They'll shoot 3 sets of projectiles: 4 small arcs, 4 large blue orbs and 4-6 small pink fireballs. You need to dodge and evade all of the attacks while shooting them. Make good use of your boost (cross.png) if you find yourself in a tight spot but try not to go behind/above them. If you do, they'll shoot homing missiles at you instead of the 3 regular projectiles. The lower they get, the faster they'll go so you want to try and burn him down as fast as possible. The more upgrades you have, the quicker this fight will go so if you're having trouble, grind out Level 1 a few times so you can purchase some better weaponry. As soon as you've defeated him, the trophy will unlock.
  • Defeat the Ecology Keeper.

    Story Related

The Ecology Keeper is Sindri and is found at the end of Level 2B (unlocked by taking the bottom path in Level 1). You'll be dealing mostly with mines for this fight. Sindri will be on the right and will move up and down as the fight progresses. Every couple of seconds, they'll fire 2 mines at you. If you get inside their radar, they'll explode. The blue mines don't shoot anything out when they blow up but the purple ones will shoot a spike up, down, left and right. Alongside the boss, there are also asteroids flying around that you'll need to either dodge or shoot to break apart. Just do your best to dodge the mines and the asteroids while burning the boss down. Once their health bar is empty, the trophy will unlock.

This is a good fight to try and get your 100x multiplier in for Unattainable trophy_silver.png if you don't already have it.
  • Defeat the Deep Space Drill.

    Story Related

The Deep Space Drill is Baldr and is found at the end of Level 3A (unlocked by completing Level 2A). This one is actually going to be easier than it initially looks. You'll mostly just be using your boost (cross.png) to dodge a few projectiles here and there but the rest is straight forward.

Baldr will start on the very right. Move to either the very top above them or the very bottom below them (so you yourself are hugging the far right as well). As they're flying, they'll move up and down and will fire projectiles but as long as you're on the bottom or top edge, you'll be safe.

Shoot them as they're flying and you'll eventually come to a rock wall that they'll dig through. When you can fit through the hole, boost through it to avoid getting hit by their projectiles. When their HP reaches about 50%, the level will turn and you'll start flying up. Do the same thing as before except instead of staying on the very top/very bottom, you'll stay on the very left/very right. Boost through the holes they create just the same and continue to burn them down. Once their health bar has been depleted, the trophy will unlock.
  • Defeat the Warden.

    Story Related

The Warden is Gerd and is found at the end of Level 3B if you take the upper path when it splits. They'll remain on the far right side of the screen and will move up and down as the fight progresses. They have two attacks: a barrage of projectiles they shoot out in front of them and a pair of blue mines. Your main objective outside of shooting them will be to always be either above or below them, that way you can avoid their attacks much easier. When they reach 50%, the mines they fire will start to also shoot homing missiles at you so just be aware of those when they appear. It shouldn't take too long to burn them down so just keep firing at them when you can and when their health bar is empty, the trophy will unlock.
  • Defeat the Subterranean Fugitive.

    Story Related

The Subterranean Fugitive is Frey Ja and is at the end of Level 3B if you take the lower path when it splits. This is one of the more fast-paced fights as the boss doesn't move slow and does follow you around the area. Throughout the fight, they'll constantly be shooting orbs, asteroids and homing missiles at you. The first two will be shot directly in front of them so as long as you stay above or below them, you should be good. The homing missiles you'll of course need to evade as they come towards you. Just keep moving and always be shooting at them. Once you've depleted their health bar, the trophy will unlock.
  • Defeat the Rogue Defender.

    Story Related

The Rogue Defender is Magni and is found at the end of 4A (unlocked after you complete Level 3A). For the first half of the level, they'll make a loop around the edge of the area going clockwise. Stay close behind them and just fire away. Make sure you're not flying in front of them as they do fire projectiles in your direction. Be sure to also do your best to dodge the randomly flying asteroids, especially when you're on the right since they'll be harder to see coming. Once the boss reaches 50%, they'll face the left and still start shooting at you. They'll shoot orbs, arcs and homing missiles in your direction that'll you'll need to dodge. Every few seconds, a drill will appear on the front. When it does, they'll rush in your direction to try and hit you with it. Move out of the way and use boost (cross.png) if you need. They'll move back towards the right and continue shooting at you. Repeat this process and once you've defeated them, the trophy will unlock.

While this boss does have a lot of asteroids flying around them, it's not recommended you try for Unattainable trophy_silver.png here since there's just a lot going on and a lot of stuff to dodge.
  • Defeat the Volatile Centrifuge.

    Story Related

The Volatile Centrifuge is Alvis and can be found at the end of Level 4B if you take the upper path. They are by far one of the easier bosses you'll encounter. As the fight progresses, they'll remain on the right and every few seconds, they'll pull a ring of asteroids around them. The brown ones can be broken, the ones with a blue-ish tint can't. Break the ones you can and shortly after, they'll shoot one at you. Just dodge the flying asteroid and keep shooting at them the entire fight. Their Health will go down pretty quick in this fight so outside of that, just be sure to dodge/evade the randomly flying asteroids within the fight area. Once their health bar is empty, the trophy will unlock.

This is a decent fight to try and get your 100x multiplier in for Unattainable trophy_silver.png if you don't already have it. Just focus on breaking the asteroids flying around the boss before burning them down.
  • Defeat the Field Scholar.

    Story Related

The Field Scholar is Vidar and can be found at the end of Level 4B if you take the lower path when it splits. This fight won't give you too much trouble. Vidar is one of the more freely roaming bosses and isn't stuck to a single side. They'll slowly float around, following you around the room. When one of the arms opens, it'll fire projectiles from the center of the hand. When both arms open, they'll shoot a laser from its center. Both of these attacks are easy to dodge/evade so just keep an eye out for them and shoot down the boss when you can. Once their health bar has been depleted, the trophy will unlock.
  • Defeat the Mobile Filtration System.

    Story Related

The Mobile Filtration System is Hulda and can be found at the end of Level 4C (unlocked when you take the bottom path in Level 3B). This will be a basic "run" and gun fight. They'll remain on the right the entire time and will just move up and down as the fight progresses. When they reveal a single gun on their front, they'll start shooting projectiles directly ahead of them so stay out of their way. If they reveal a gun on the top and one on the bottom, they'll shoot homing missiles at you so just dodge them accordingly. From there, just keep shooting them and once you've defeated them, the trophy will unlock.
  • Defeat the Armament Engineer.

    Story Related

The Armament Engineer is Skadi and is found at the end of Level 5A if you take the upper path when it splits. This boss has two attacks. It will occasionally shoot out a group of projectiles directly in front of it and when its eye is open, it'll rain down projectiles onto you. The angle of the rain depends on what direction the boss moved last. If they went left, the rain will come in angled to the right. If they moved right, the rain will come down angled to the left. There will be just enough room for you to squeeze between everything so just dodge and evade what you can while burning them down. Once you've defeated the boss, the trophy will unlock.
  • Defeat the Nuclear Cruiser.

    Story Related

The Nuclear Cruiser is Aegir and is at the end of Level 5A if you take the lower path when it splits. This fight is pretty straight forward and you'll mostly just be using your boost (cross.png) to dodge their projectiles if/when needed. They'll always stay on the right and will move up and down while shooting a cone of bullets outwards. When they open up the wings on their ship, the cone will get much bigger so use your boost to move around as needed. Always be shooting them and you should be able to burn them down pretty quickly. Once you've defeated them, the trophy will unlock.
  • Defeat the Foreman.

    Story Related

The Foreman is Modi and is found at the end of 5B (unlocked when you take the upper path in 4B). For the first half of the fight, they'll move up and down on the far right while shooting blue orbs directly in front of them every other second or so. You just need to dodge these while shooting them (try and stay under them if possible). Once they hit about 50%, they'll fire a group of homing missiles at you (these are hard to dodge) which will start the next phase. Now, as they still move up and down, they'll fire a group of projectiles in your direction, followed by another group directly out in front of them. The boss will wait a few seconds before firing the group at you, giving you ample time to move around to dodge them. Just keep shooting them as you evade their attacks and once you've defeated them, the trophy will unlock.
  • Defeat the Senatorial Protector.

    Story Related

The Senatorial Protector is Loki and is found at the end of Level 5C (unlocked when you take the bottom path in 4B). This boss has an invisibility ability that you'll need to be on your toes with. Periodically, the boss will disappear and reappear in a different area. When they do, they'll shoot a barrage of projectiles directly in front of them as well as a group of homing missiles that will follow you around for a few seconds. Evade everything as best you can while shooting at them to burn them down. You'll repeat the disappear/reappear dance a few times but once you've defeated them, the trophy will unlock.

Depending on what upgrades you have, you can actually see the new location of the boss by firing around the area when they disappear. When you hit them, their outline will appear in your fire line, showing you where they're about to become visible again. The fight moves pretty fast so it's unlikely you'll even need to do that but it's a small trick you can use none the less.
  • Defeat the Lodestar.

    Story Related

The Lodestar is Njord and is found at the end of Level 5D (unlocked when you complete Level 4C). You'll need to constantly be moving this fight to avoid the many attacks this boss will be throwing at you. Unlike a majority of the other bosses, this one will follow you around the fight area. As they do, they'll spin and turn while firing bullets, arcs, homing missiles and everything between. You can't stand still at all or they'll run into you and/or do some pretty hefty damage with the bullets. Make circular motions around them and use your boost (cross.png) as need be. Always be shooting them and as soon as you've defeated them, the trophy will unlock.
  • Defeat the Megalithic Gunship.

    Story Related

The Megalithic Gunship is Urd and is the boss you'll go up against in Boss A (unlocked when you complete 5A by taking the upper path). The first thing you want to do with this boss is take out their 6 miniguns (there are 3 on each wing). This will leave them with only their center front gun with any ships that spawn in. They'll mostly be shooting large orbs at you so your focus wants to be dodging those and taking out the adds that appear. Be sure to stay below the boss. If you go above them, they'll only shoot homing missiles at you and it will be a lot of them. When there are no additional enemies to shoot down, focus your fire on the boss to burn them once. Once you've defeated them, the trophy will unlock.
  • Defeat the Fusion Cannon.

    Story Related

The Fusion Cannon is Verdandi and is the boss you'll go up against in Boss B (unlocked when you complete 5A by taking the lower path). This boss has 3 phases but there's a chance you'll only see 2 of them if you burn them down quick enough.

In the first half of the fight, the boss will stay on the far right and will just move up and down. Every few seconds, they'll fire two groups of projectiles in front of it. You can move up or down slowly to dodge them well enough since they're not moving that fast. At 50%, the boss will add an additional gun and the 2 groups of projectiles will get slightly larger but will still happen a few seconds apart. If you don't defeat the boss quick enough, when they reach about 25%, they'll start to shoot 4 groups of projectiles so you really want to make sure you're constantly shooting at them to get them down quickly. Once you've defeated them, the trophy will unlock.
  • Defeat the Twin Fighters.

    Story Related

The Twin Fighters is Vor and is the boss you'll fight in Boss C (unlocked when you complete 5B). As the trophy description hints at, you'll be fighting more than one ship in this fight but you only need to defeat one of them to win. When you start the fight, there will be a single ship with a green front. This is the ship that you need to focus your shots on. They'll fire a few sets of projectiles at you, then dash in your direction. Dodge them accordingly and when they return, the twin ship will appear. This one will have a pink front. You can shoot at them to kill them pretty quick or just continue focusing on the green one. Fair warning that if you choose to ignore it, you'll have a lot more projectiles to dodge so it's best to just get them out of the way when you can. Repeat the process of shooting/dodging and once their health bar has been depleted, the trophy will unlock.

If you're playing on New Game +, there will be 2 pink ships to deal with versus just 1 on normal.
  • Defeat the Control Mainframe.

    Story Related

The Control Mainframe is Frigg and is the boss you'll go up against in Boss D (unlocked when you complete 5C). The hard part of this fight comes from the extra adds that appear and shoot at you but as long as you remain mindful of them, you should be ok.

On the top of the boss is 5 guns. For the first half of the fight, they'll shoot projectiles straight ahead where they're pointing. Just dodge/evade these as they come and try not to stand in the direct path of any of the guns. After a few seconds, some flying enemies will spawn from the boss that will proceed to shoot at you. Don't worry about shooting them as they'll disappear off the screen rather quickly. When the boss reaches about 50%, enemies will start to spawn on the left and right walls that will also shoot at you. Take them out as needed and go back to shooting the boss. Once you've depleted their health bar, the trophy will unlock.

    Defeat the Terrible Experiment.

    Story Related

The Terrible Experiment is Skuld and is the boss you'll go up against in Boss E (unlocked when you complete Level 5D). An old favorite of the original Habroxia, Skuld will start of encased in rock. You need to shoot at them to break it open, revealing their true self. When they're completely visible, they'll occasionally pick up and fire an asteroid at you. Just dodge it accordingly and continue shooting them. As the fight progresses, keep an eye out for the single ships they spawn as well as the random asteroids flying around the area. It shouldn't take too long to defeat this boss and as soon as you do, the trophy will unlock.

This is arguably the best fight to try and get your 100x multiplier in for Unattainable trophy_silver.png if you don't already have it. Just leave the boss encased in the rock and focus on breaking the asteroids flying around you to build up your multiple quickly.
  • Defeat Galactic Chaos.

    Story Related

The Galactic Chaos is Odin and is the final boss of the game. Their level unlocks when you've completed the 5 mini-bosses just before them (Boss A, Boss B, Boss C, Boss D and Boss E). As you move around the area, the boss will stay right next to you, occasionally shooting orbs directly in front of him. As long as you keep moving, you should be good with dodging these. For the first half of the fight, they'll randomly spawn red anomalies in the corners. Don't touch these are you'll take a decent amount of damage. In the second half of the fight, these anomalies will spawn more near your location and will be much harder to evade so just keep an eye out for when they appear. Be sure to always been shooting the boss and once you've defeated them, the trophy will unlock.
