Introduction

As the first GRID, this is another racing game. If you enjoyed the first one, you're gonna love this one. This time we have a lot of new modes and cars, a better “storyline” and a decent online game. You won’t have any trouble achieving the trophies. You can easily play this game using a normal controller, you don’t need a wheel to have fun. I recommend you play on Normal Difficulty, as you will have a good fun challenge and it won’t frustrate you, unlike the highest difficulties.

Walkthrough

STEP 1: Complete the World Racing Series Career getting 1st place in every event, earn all miscellaneous trophies

The first thing you want to do is go into the 'World Racing Series' from the main menu. There are a total of 5 seasons you must complete here and you will want to come first place in each and every event. The best way for you to do it is to clear up every event and come first place then enter the WRC, as once you enter the WRC the only way to replay the season you were just in is via the timeline. Once you have completed the game you should have the majority of the trophies, including the one for coming first place in every event.

After doing all of that you will want to go into custom events and clean up the remaining offline trophies. They don't take very long to do but if you're having trouble then please refer to the guide.

STEP 2: Multiplayer

The online is very quick in this game, it will only take you a few hours. The first thing you want to do is go to the 'Global Challenge' option and play a few of the challenges here. There is a leaderboard within the menu here that will have your score and your friends' scores over all of the challenges for that week. By the leaderboard will also be a timer that counts down from 7 days. For the Global Domination trophy you need to be at the top of this leaderboard when it resets. The trophy will unlock if you have no friends with the game. If you do have friends just make sure to either delete them off your friends list and add them again later or just beat their score.

The next step is to go into the playlists and just keep playing here until you reach level 10 for the Dipping your Toes trophy. You will also get the majority of the other online trophies here too. The final step is to boost the rival trophy and the endurance trophy, see the trophy guide for more info about those two.

STEP 3: Clean Up

Mmissed out on coming first in a certain event? Didn't complete a miscellaneous trophy? Well now is the time to go back and complete it. You should now have your platinum, congrats!

Spa-Francorchamps DLC:

Overview:

Estimated difficulty:
3.5/10
Offline trophies: 2 1
Online trophies: 1
Approximate amount of time to 100%: 1 hour
Minimum number of playthroughs: Minimum of one online endurance and one drift event. Likely to be a few other single player events on top of that though.
Number of missable trophies: None
Glitched trophies: None
Does difficulty affect any trophies: No
Do cheat codes disable trophies: None available
Online Pass required? Yes

Introduction:

The Spa-Francorchamps Track Pack adds the legendary Belgian track as you would have expected, plus two new cars - Aston Martin V12 Zagato and BMW Z4 GT3. No new events are included, however you can use this new track in all event types in single races.

Flashbacks

Flashbacks are very useful in this DLC as they will make a few of the trophies a lot easier to earn. To use one, simply press and you will be able to rewind time for a bit. This allows you to retake a bad corner or avoid a crash.

Please note that there isn't a set pattern to the following steps - they can be completed in any order.

Step 1: Head online and complete an endurance event in Spa GP track:

You will have to create/find a custom event and compete in an Endurance race on the new track. The online can be pretty empty at times, so chances are that you won't manage to start the game without finding someone to help you out. Head to the Boosting Thread if necessary to find a partner. Everyone that completes the event will earn the Staying the Distance trophy shortly after the race has finished. If you want, you can also try to reach a speed of 260 mph/420 kmh in the long straight (which would allow you to skip Step 3) and try to complete a lap in under 1:49 (which would let you skip Step 2) for two additional trophies. While these two trophies are entirely possible to earn online, don't worry if you can't get them done now. They can be unlocked in single player if need be.

Upon completion of this step, you will earn at the very minimum:

Staying the Distance

Step 2: Complete a lap in under 1:49:

Start an offline Spa race with the highest number of laps, unlimited flashbacks and the AI set to the easiest difficulty. You will need a top tier car to reach this time (I recommend the Audi R8 LMS as it is just fast enough to reach the time, but also very easy to handle.) With a few practice laps and liberal use of flashbacks, you should eventually reach the target time.

This step will unlock:

Spa Time

Step 3: Start a Spa time attack using Koenigsegg Agera and reach 260 mph on the long straight:

Remember to set flashbacks to unlimited. In time attack mode, the pack is spread out in the beginning, so you can go for the top speed right away. The target speed does require a pretty good line through the Eau Rouge bend to accomplish, so bear this in mind when going for it. Please refer to the trophy guide for more information.

This step will unlock:

Rouge Racer

Step 4: Start a Spa drift event in a tier 3 or 4 car and score 300,000 points in a single drift:

You will want to use unlimited flashbacks again. There is only one corner where you can reach the target score (unless you are a extremely skilled drifter) and it's the 180 degree right hand turn shortly after the start. This will require a lot of retries, but you should be able to reach the target score after several dozen flashbacks.

You will want to aim for at least 6x multiplier for easier time and will need a fast car here due to the need to maintain a decent enough speed throughout to continue scoring through the long corner. Balanced or drift cars are the choice here (I personally used the Koenigsegg, but any car similar to this should do the job.)

This step will unlock:

Super Drift

Bathurst Track Pack DLC:

Overview:

Estimated difficulty:
3/10
Offline trophies: 1 2
Online trophies: 1
Approximate amount of time to 100%: 1 hour
Minimum number of playthroughs: One online checkpoint event and one time attack either offline or online
Number of missable trophies: None
Glitched trophies: None
Does difficulty affect any trophies: No
Do cheat codes disable trophies: None available
Online Pass required? Yes

Introduction:

Bathurst track pack adds the Australian Mount Panorama circuit as well as three new cars - the Nissan Skyline and Ford Sierra RS500 Group A Racecars and the Ford Racing Ute. No new events are introduced, however the track can be freely used in online and offline custom events.

Flashbacks

Flashbacks will make Aussie rules a bit easier. To use one, simply press and you can rewind time for a bit. This is especially useful if you wish to retake a bad corner or avoid a crash.

Please note that Steps 1 and 2 do not necessarily need to be performed in the order shown below. Step 3 however, should be left until last for a possibility of saving time.

Step 1: Head online and win a checkpoint event at Bathurst

You will have to create/find a custom event online that utilizes the track in checkpoint event. Chances are that you won't manage to start the game without finding someone to assist you. Head to the GRID 2 Boosting Thread if you wish to find a partner.

If you use Tier 4 cars, you will likely reach a speed of 220 mph, which will earn you another trophy, and if you are skilled enough, you may even complete a lap in under 1:39 for a further trophy.

At the end of this step, you will earn at least:

Time Extended

and possibly

Outback and Gone
Aussie rules

Step 2: Complete Bathurst time attack event either online or offline

Simple enough step - just complete a time attack event. You can set the laps to minimum and winning the event isn't required. If you failed to unlock Outback and Gone or Aussie rules during the first step, feel free to attempt them here (although completing a lap in under 1:39 may be slightly harder as you will need to overtake the slower cars on the track.)

This step will unlock:

Bush-bash

Step 3: Cleanup

If you used a Tier 4 car in either of the last two steps, you will most likely already have unlocked the Outback and gone trophy. If so, then the only remaining trophy to unlock would be Aussie Rules. Both of these can be unlocked in the same run.

Start a race against with a high number of laps, unlimited flashbacks and the AI difficulty set to Easy. Outback and gone will likely unlock at the end of the long back straight. Reaching the lap time of 1:39 for Aussie Rules will be trickier however. Flashbacks will help a lot if you make any mistakes, so feel free to use them as many times as you wish. Many of the Tier 4 cars can reach the target time. Please refer to the trophy guide for more information.

This step will unlock:

Aussie Rules
Outback and Gone

Classic Grid Pack DLC:

Overview:

Estimated difficulty:
1/10
Offline trophies: 2
Online trophies: 0
Approximate amount of time to 100%: 10 minutes
Minimum number of playthroughs: Two events
Number of missable trophies: None
Glitched trophies: None
Does difficulty affect any trophies: No
Do cheat codes disable trophies: None available
Online Pass required? No

Introduction:

This small DLC adds two new cars to the game - Koenigsegg CCGT and Pagani Zonda Revolución. From a trophy perspective, this DLC is very straightforward and shouldn't take very long to complete.

You can choose which of the two steps to complete first - there's no set order.

Step 1: Win an elimination event with Pagani Zonda Revolución

Easiest to do offline, but online will also work. Simply win an elimination event. You can do this with the AI difficulty set to Easy to make it simpler if you wish.

This will unlock:

An Old Favourite

Step 2: Win a drift event with Koenigsegg CCGT

This can be completed online or offline as well. AI set to Easy difficulty are very simple to beat, but if you're still struggling, then don't forget to make use of your flashbacks. Scoring around 100,000 points should secure you a win against Easy difficulty AI.

This step will unlock:

Turn Back Time

GRID 2 Trophy Guide

Printable Guide
Show completed trophies
Show secret trophies

61 trophies ( 11  46  11  )

  • You unlocked all the other trophies.

  • You shutout an opponent in a career Touge event.

As similar to Eat It!, what you have to do here is win a Touge event by the 5-second rule on both rounds. You can do it on the lowest difficulty if you’re struggling with this trophy. For more information about how it works, read Eat It! description.

  • You reached the maximum multiplier in an Overtake event.

Overtake Events are those where you need to overtake a lot of pick-ups to earn points and bonuses. The maximum multiplier is 10x (ie 1000 bonus points). To reach it you need to overtake 10 pick-ups in a row, without hitting anything. If you take more than 5 seconds to overtake another pick-up, you lose 1x. You probably will be getting this one during your way to WSR, you can easily achieve it on the Japan/Dubai season, in the Promotional events, where you play at Abu Dhabi in a 320i Touring car. Just take your time, your opponent isn’t good enough. You can go for Flawless too while trying.

  • You took part in and completed an online Endurance race.

Self-explanatory. Go to Multiplayer and search for an Endurance race, complete it and the trophy should pop when you get back to the menu. You don’t have to win, just complete it without crashing your car.

  • You traded paint with every competitor during one offline race and still won the race.

Pretty straight-forward. To achieve it, simply run into all your opponents (don’t need to crash, just “touch” them), and go on and win the race.

  • You've gone above and beyond the call of duty and completed 5 career sponsor objectives.

Read Sellout description for more info.

  • You've won a race in a white Dodge Challenger but lived to tell the tale, unlike Kowalski.

For this trophy you will have to customize your car. First, select “My Vehicles” at the menu. Choose Tier 2, and select Dodge Challenger. You have to paint it ALL white, choose the first pattern (the one where your car has only one color). Then paint it all Matte White. Now all you have to do is win any race. The trophy should pop after the race.

  • You've driven faster than a Russian torpedo, which incidentally is 230 mph.

To achieve this trophy, you need to be driving faster than 230mph (or 370.1kmh) while crashing into a wall, destroying your car, even if you use a flashback, the trophy will pop. You probably will be achieving this trophy in the last season, where you play with the most powerful cars of the game. I recommend you using the Koenigsegg Agera R for this trophy.

  • You've got one thing on your mind: money! You completed 20 career sponsor objectives.

This will come on your way to You RoCDed!, simply by completing 20 sponsor objectives in Career. If you’re having problems with this, be sure to choose sponsors with easy objectives for you to complete. You can choose your sponsor everytime you start a new season at Career.

Just a reminder to you, if you complete an objective in a race, then for some reason you restart the race, you will have to complete the objective again.

  • You've completed an individual Global Challenge goal and ultimately helped the community.

Go to Multiplayer (GRID Online) > Events > Global Challenge. You will find a few events you can play, choose any from the list. Complete it getting a bronze medal and the trophy is yours.

  • You've upgraded a car and bumped it to 'Upgraded' class.

As you play online races, you earn credits, which you’re going to spend on upgrades for your car. If you want to get this trophy fast, save at least $10,000 credits. After you have this amount, go to your vehicles, and choose the Alfa Romeo Giuletta, which you'll have since you started playing online. Start spending your credits on car parts until your car becomes Tier 2. You will receive a notification saying it changed tiers. After that, the trophy should pop.

  • You finished 5 seconds ahead of the target time in a Vehicle Challenge on the Red Bull Ring.

Missable trophy. To achieve it with no problems, I strongly recommend you to put on the lowest difficulty when you find a Vehicle Challenge on Red Bull Ring track. All you have to do is beat the target time by 5 seconds. The target time changes depending on the difficulty you choose. As this is a missable trophy, you will want to get it as soon as possible.

  • You scored 350,000 drift points in Okutama in a Mazda RX-7 TYPE RZ or a NISMO R34T-R Z-TUNE.

This trophy doesn’t need to be achieved in the Career. Simply start a Drift race at Okutama in the Mazda RX-7 (this one felt good for me, maybe you should give it a try if you’re having trouble playing with the R34). Learn the turns, where to brake/handbrake, and keep practising. You will achieve it at some point. Here's a video if you still need help:

  • You rolled a car at least 7 times and landed on its wheels, just like Bond did.

    • Track - California - Pebble Beach
    • Drive?Car: Dodge Challenger?

The car and track above were what I found to be the easiest to get the trophy. Any heavy car will do though as it can carry the flips easier. What you want to do is create a custom event using those settings and remember to put unlimited flashbacks on! As soon as you first reach the cliffs you will go back into a forest area, here is where the ramp is located. This place is perfect place to get the rolls as it is also downhill. The hardest part is getting the car to end up rolling down the hill.

Here’s a video of how to do it:

  • … and your enemies even closer. You beat a Rival on track.

This trophy can be a little tricky. Racenet automatically sets your rivals. To race against them, you both needs to be online at the same time to race together against each other. What you can do to make your life easier is add your friends as social rivals on Racenet, then easily play together when you're both online.

  • You finished first in every career event, during season play and/or via the timeline.

As the description says, you have to get 1st place in every event in Career, including Promo events. Be sure to keep tracking your progress, I recommend you to not start another season until you have every event finished at 1st place. Just have in mind that you don’t have to win all races, you just need to win the event. Vehicle challenges are not necessary for this trophy. If you already finished Career, don’t worry, you can still replay all events necessary for this trophy.

  • You've reached level 10 online and opened up a new world of possibilities.

The online levels are based on your credits. You will need 240,000 credits to reach level 10. You earn credits by playing races, you don’t need to win, but if you do, you earn more credits. The best modes for rank up fast are Endurance, Time Attack and Touge.

  • You took part in an online playlist and stuck around for at least 5 races.

Straight-forward. All you need to do is get in a online playlist and play at least 5 races. After the 5th, the trophy will pop.

  • You performed a 100m drift.

This will come on your way to You RoCDed!, you don’t need to do it in a Drift event. To achieve it, simply do a 100m+ drift at any track, in any mode. Personally, I achieved it in one of my firsts races where I spun out, so you don’t need to really “drift” to get this trophy.

  • You beat all of the Prestige drivers in career club events.

You will get this on your way to You RoCDed!. If you finish every event on the podium (1st, 2nd or 3rd), you will be getting this at the end of Season 3.

  • You won a career event on the hardest difficulty without using Flashbacks.

It looks like a hard trophy, but trust me, it’s not. To do it easily, all you have to do is unlock Camaro Z28 (the oldest one). Then after setting it to the hardest difficulty, you’re going to play the first race of Career again. You can play the whole race without even braking in this car, you probably won’t have any trouble with this trophy. If anything happens during the race, just restart, as you can’t use any flashback. It is a 1:30s race, so it won’t be hard to finish it without using flashbacks.

  • You won a race in an upgraded car.

As you keep playing online races, you will be earning credits. These are used for buying upgrades for your cars. Simply buy any upgrade for any of your cars and win a race.

  • You won a career Promo Event.

This will come in your first season. By playing and winning races you will be invited to Promo Events. You can check if you were invited on the Career menu, next to the Vehicle Challenges. They’re not hard, so this won’t be a problem for you.

  • You set the fastest time on the first lap of a Time Attack event.

Pretty straight-forward. Time Attack events consist of doing fast laps, the racer who did the fastest lap wins. All you have to do here is do your best and get the fastest lap on the first lap.

  • You lapped a competitor.

This will come on your way to You RoCDed!, all you have to do is lap another opponent. You will probably get this when another racer crashes his car and you overtake him at the next lap.

  • You won the first round of a career Touge event using the 5 second rule.

You can win by two different ways in Touge events. One is by finishing in 1st place. The other way is by getting a 5 seconds gap between you and your opponent. As Touge is a “best of three” mode, you have to do it at the first round. To check if you’re almost at 5 second, keep checking the bar at the top. If you’ve almost filled the bar all the way to the right, don’t brake at the next turn and you will easily complete it. Just do it if you’re having problems achieving it.

  • You've driven more than 1,000 miles (1,610km).

Self-explanatory. It will come on your way to You RoCDed!

  • You won a round of a career event without using the brakes.

This is easier than it looks. Just set the difficulty to the easiest one, then play the first race of Career again. Using the Camaro Z28 will help you on this. After a few tries the trophy will be yours.

  • You beat the target time in a Vehicle Challenge.

This will come after the first Vehicle Challenge, where you need to beat the target time to win the car.

  • You won a week of Global Challenge.

Go To GRID Online (Multiplayer) > Events > Global Challenge. Here you will find five challenges that change every week. You earn medals (bronze, silver and gold) and points on these challenges. At the main screen you will see the Leaderboard. All you need to do is be at the top of this Leaderboard of any week. This leaderboard includes only friends, so if you’re struggling with this trophy, you can simply delete that friend who is ahead of you and earn the trophy. The “week” ends on Friday. So, get back there after another week started and the trophy should pop.

  • You completed California Big Sur in under 3 minutes. (Excludes drift events)

    Custom Event Settings

    • Event Type: Race
    • Car Tier: Tier Four / Indycar
    • AI Drivers: Doesn't matter, preferably very easy
    • Advanced Options - Grid order: Random
    • Advanced Options - Flashbacks: Unlimited
    • Track Selection: California, Big Sur

I got this trophy using the Indycar received in the pre-order DLC. The car barely drifts and you can easily finish within 3 minutes if you don't crash and take every corner as fast as you can (I finished with a time of 2:50:00 using the Indycar). If you don't have this car and you don't want to buy it, then any Tier 4 car will do. Choose whichever one you are comfortable with (The Mclaren F1 GT is a good choice). As soon as you finish with a time of under 3 minutes the trophy will unlock. You can use as many flashbacks as you want.

  • You've competed in all race types.

There are a total of 9 races types in GRID 2. You will play each one via story progression so you can't really miss this trophy. Here is a checklist though so you can see what ones you haven't played:

    • Checkpoint
    • Drift
    • Eliminator
    • Endurance
    • Faceoff
    • Overtake
    • Race
    • Time Attack
    • Touge
  • You won an Online Playlist event.

This trophy cannot be boosted because it requires you to play in a playlist. I got this in my first few games as most people online aren't pros and they just ram a lot. If you're having trouble then select a playlist which has an event you are good at (drift event for example). All you need to go is come first place.

  • You've individually applied customised liveries to 5 vehicles.

Note: This applies to both online and offline vehicles.

You'll probably get this via story progression if you're like me and like to change the liveries of your cars every once in a while. If however you don't have this after completing the WSR then simply go to 'My Vehicles' and click on any tier and any car. Then simply put a pattern on the car and save. Repeat 4 more times for the trophy.

  • You repeated an event using the Timeline.

From the WSR menu (The one with career, custom event etc) scroll to the far right and click on the option called 'Timeline'. Now all you have to do is replay and complete any event and the trophy will unlock on the scoreboard screen.

  • You completed a lap of Chicago - Wabash Run driving the Ford Mustang Mach 1 in less than 60 seconds.

    Custom Event Settings

    • Event Type: Time Attack
    • Car Tier: Tier One
    • AI Drivers: Doesn't matter
    • Advanced Options - Grid order: Random
    • Advanced Options - Flashbacks: Unlimited
    • Track Selection: Chicago, Wabash Run , 5 Laps
    • Car: Ford Mustang Mach 1 Twister Special

This is a little tricky to do because you have to basically take every corner as fast as you can and you can't really use the brakes at all. This video shows the driving line I took and finished with a time for 58 seconds. My advice would be for you to take a few practice runs on the track first to get to know the corners and how fast you can take them, then go for the under 60 seconds time. I did this in time attack, but it can also be done in a race.

The best way to do it though is to watch the video below and try and take every corner like I do, if you fail just use a flashback. Achieving a time of under 60 seconds abusing the flashback system is very manageable.

However, if you still struggling with this trophy, you can get it online. In online you can upgrade your Mustang, making it faster. Just remember, you have to spend credits to upgrade your car, so if you're using this method, you will have to play a few races first to have enough credits to spend on your Mustang. The Mustang itself costs $25,000. After you're ready to do it, create a Custom Online Event at Chicago - Wabash Run and do a lap in less than 60 seconds. If you need a partner for this, you can find on the Trophy Boosting Thread. Thanks to robinworldwide for this tip.

  • You raced at every city at least once.

Story related and cannot be missed

You will play at every city as you progress through the game so you don't need to worry about this trophy. This trophy also counts online and offline.

  • You've scored 250,000 points in a single drift.

    Track: Okutama, Kenshi Way

In order to do this you MUST get a x5 multiplier on the corner shown in the video. To do this you must drift very close to the first pole and carry the drift past the 2nd pole. How i did it was to use the Nissan GT because of its speed and drifting abilities. As I approached the corner I tapped the handbrake and this allowed me to have more speed through the drift. You must keep the car above 50mph through the drift or it'll just spin out or stop completely.

If you put unlimited flashbacks on you can keep trying to do it for as long as you want. You don't have to use the Nissan GT, this is just an example. The NSX or any tier 3 drift car works well too.

  • You've won an Overtake event making no contact with anything. (Excludes Global Challenge events)

The easiest way to do this is via a custom event. What you want to do is choose any track that you're familiar with and set the flashbacks to unlimited and the AI to 'Very Easy'. Now you will want to drive nice and slow, making sure not to crash into any walls, but not slow enough so you keep getting 100 points. If you do crash just press to use a flashback and go back to a point before the crash; this won't void the trophy.

  • You've won a LiveRoute event.

A LiveRoute event is a unique race type in Grid 2. At the start of the race the track will randomly generate and your mini map will be disabled. You just have to rely on the braking markers and the red barriers with arrows on which tell you when to turn. For this trophy you just need to win one of these events. You can't miss it if you're getting 1st in every race.

4 trophies

  • You beat a lap time of 1:49:00 at Spa-Francorchamps. (Excludes drift events)

You can attempt this trophy either online or offline. Going online means that you can use upgraded cars, however you will have access to flashbacks offline, therefore I'd recommend choosing this option.

There are multiple Tier 4 cars that are capable of achieving a lap time under 1:49. My personal recommendation would be the the Audi R8 LMS, which is easy to control but fast enough to reach the required time.

While this can be achieved in any event type, I suggest attempting it in a race event. Start a race with the highest possible number of laps, unlimited flashbacks and the AI difficulty set to Easy.

Focus on gaining the lead on the first lap. This way, you'll have a clean track ahead of you when entering Lap 2. You will really need to achieve a near-perfect lap in order to earn this trophy. If you feel like you could have taken a corner from a better angle, you should use a flashback by pressing and retake the corner.

The trophy will unlock shortly after you complete the lap within the required time. Feel free to exit the race at that point.

  • You completed an online Endurance race at Spa-Francorchamps.

You will have to find or create a custom endurance event on Spa in order to unlock this trophy. Chances are you won't be able to find another player to join you online normally, so I'd recommend finding a boosting partner here.

Any finishing position will unlock the trophy shortly after the event has ended - you don't need to win.

  • You scored over 300,000 points in a single drift at Spa-Francorchamps.

There is one corner in the Spa drift section that should make this obtainable. It's the 180 degree right hand turn Rivage, Corner #10 in the track map shown below. Aim for at least a 6x multiplier and the target score should be within reach.

Use a Tier 3 or 4 balanced/drift car for this one. You will need some power to keep the slide going on long enough. Flashbacks (press to use) should be set to unlimited so you can retake bad sections or start the drift from the beginning entirely.

This may take a few tries, but perseverence and suitable use of flashbacks is the key to success here.

  • You went faster than 260mph (418.429km/h) at Spa-Francorchamps.

This trophy will be slightly easier if you have reached Level 30 online. With a fully upgraded Agera, you should easily reach the speed on the long straight section of the track. However, if you don't have access to the upgrades, then the regular Agera can still reach the speed as well but it will require a good line through Raidillon/Eau Rouge (corners 3-5 in track map). Flashbacks () help here again.

While slightly tricky, you should eventually manage to maintain a high enough speed through the corners (time attack is a good event type to try this on.) The pack will be spread out so you can go for the trophy right away after starting the event and taking the first tight hairpin. By the time you reach the required speed with a stock car, you will probably be very close to crashing into the barrier at the end of the straight, but you will unlock the trophy regardless of crashing or not.

DLC: Bathurst Track Pack

4 trophies

  • You beat a lap time of 01:39:00 at Bathurst. (Excludes drift events)

You have a choice of going for this one either online or offline. If online, you can use upgraded cars; however I'd say that flashbacks are a greater benefit, therefore I'd recommend offline over online here.

There are multiple Tier 4 cars that are capable of reaching the target time:

    • Koenigsegg Agera - Long straights mean that you will only need a decent lap to reach the time, however the car is very hard to handle
    • Bugatti Veyron - You can use the long straights to your advantage with this car as well (just not as much as with the Agera,) however this one is much easier to handle. You will need to put in a good lap.
    • Audi R8 LMS - Slowest of the three on straights, but the easiest to handle (and fast through the short technical section during the middle of the lap.) You will need a very good lap with this one to reach the time.

While this can be done in any event type, I highly recommend doing it in Race. Start a race with the highest number of laps, unlimited flashbacks and the AI difficulty set to Easy.

Focus on getting the lead during the first lap. This way, you'll have a clean track ahead of you when starting the next lap. Depending on your choice of car, you may need a near-perfect lap in order to achieve this. Use flashbacks to your advantage () to determine the best route around the corners.

If you are really desperate, there is a corner that you can wallride (keep the accelerator floored through the corner while rubbing the outer wall.) Refer to the track map at the end of the guide - the corner in question is #4.

  • You completed a time attack event at Bathurst.

Straightforward enough. Just complete a Time Attack in Bathurst either online or offline - your finishing position doesn't matter. To speed things up, feel free to set the laps to minimum.

  • You've won an online Checkpoint event at Bathurst.

You will have to find or create a custom checkpoint event on Bathurst. Chances are that you won't be able to find someone through regular means, so I'd recommend finding a boosting partner here and trade wins.

Remember that only the winner of the event will earn the trophy.

  • You reached a speed of over 220mph (354.056km/h) at Bathurst.

A straightforward trophy that is best attempted in the Agera. You can unlock this in the Mountain straight (between corners 1 and 2 on the map below,) but if this doesn't work, then Conrod straight (Between corners 18 and 21) will definitely be long enough to reach the speed. Any event type will do, and you can use upgraded cars if need be online.

DLC: Classic Grid Pack

2 trophies

  • You've won an elimination event in a Zonda Revolución.

This will unlock upon winning offline or online elimination event. Easiest to get with the AI difficulty set to Easy. The Zonda can be a bit tail-happy at times, so I'd recommend a wider racing tracks as opposed to street circuits for this one. Red bull circuits are a good choice here. Have flashbacks set to unlimited just in case, but you shouldn't really need them.

  • You've won a drift event in a Koenigsegg CCGT (excludes Global Challenge events.)

Can be unlocked online or offline. Scoring around 100,000 total points against the AI on Easy difficulty will be enough and is the easiest way to unlock this trophy. The Koenigsegg can be quite difficult to handle, but if you use a wide track, you should easily reach 100,000 total points. Flashbacks () can help here as well - remember to set them to unlimited when setting up the event.
