Introduction:
God of War Ragnarok is the fantastic follow-up from Sony Santa Monica to the Game of the Year smash hit, God of War, all the way back in 2018. God of War Ragnarok is a fine sequel to 2018's best game and improves upon it in every way imaginable. In fact, if you thought God of War (2018) was a big ol' game, then Ragnarok is about to blow your mind.
Walkthrough:
In terms of trophies and as far as God of War Ragnarok goes, the trophy list might seem a bit gentle this time around compared to its predecessor. There's no raven trophy for instance, but don't let that lure you into a self sense of security... you will still need to collect all the ravens.
That's because while there isn't a collect everything trophy per se, the Collector requires you get all Relics and Sword Hilts. One of which you get for beating all the Berserker Gravestones. Another you get from killing a boss after killing all 48 ravens. In short, you're going to have to work for this platinum, folks, but the truth is, that the game is brilliant anyway and it won't for one second seem like a chore. Especially not thanks to our 100% collectibles guides which will make sure that you won't miss a thing. We created guides for rare resources, best armour sets, all Runic attacks, and the locations of all the weapon upgrades too, so we've got you covered.
In terms of what to do and when to do it, our advice would be to just enjoy God of War Ragnarok at your leisure, because you can always mop up everything you miss at the end. We would recommend using our 100% collectibles guide, however, as it tells you when and what you can get from an area at any one time... you'll soon discover that mostly everything is "undiscovered" for a very long time, and this will stop any kind of frustration creeping in.
We've prepared nearly 50 supplementary guides as well, should you need any other assistance. In the meantime, good luck and more importantly, have yourself a great ol' time!

Introduction:
Santa Monica Studio is back with a free DLC for God of War Ragnarok. This DLC will focus on a psychological journey through Kratos' head, looking back at his past. The DLC is full of references to older GoW games and will test your skills inside a dungeon full of enemies and some bosses.
The mechanic of this DLC, however, are pretty different from base game mechanics - Consider it as a rogue-like expansion of the game. You start with low stats but after each run, you will be able to upgrade HP, Rage, Strength and other useful stats that will increase your power, giving you easier times inside the Valhalla. Don't worry if you will die sometimes or you will not be able to progress any further. Any time you die, you will be able to upgrade yourself!
Note: You will be able to play the DLC anytime from the start screen but since it contains major spoilers, it is suggested to play it only after finishing the main game.
Note 2: You don't have to complete a cycle before exiting the game. Each time you reach an area called "sanctuary", you will find a Tablet of Endeavor, where you can press to safely quit the game without losing progress.
Walkthrough:
Step 1: Complete the story
For the first step, you need to get all the story-related trophies by completing cycles inside the Dungeon. You need to complete 6 cycles in order to finish the story. The good news is that this 6 cycles are not full cycles! For the first 3, you simply have to reach a certain point of the dungeon where Kratos will go "mad" and exit back to the "nexus" (the starting point of the DLC, the Shore).
After 3 "short" cycles, you will need to complete 3 full cycles to reach the ending and the credits. A full cycle is divided into three parts:
- After two easy rooms, you will find yourself in a calm area (a sanctuary). From there, you have to find the door with a skull on it and kill the "Chosen" inside. (Note: the first cycle ends during this stage. You simply will die because of strong enemies)
- Once you killed the chosen, you will be ready to ascend to the Upper Realms. Once you ascend, you will face a boss. Kill him and you will reach another calm area: after that, you will be in the Greece section. (Note: 2nd cycle will ends after killing the boss, the 3rd cycle will end during your journey inside the Greece section).
- Once you're fully inside the Greece section, you need to kill a certain number of Chosen by opening the rifts. The color of the rift will tell you if the enemies are weak or strong, so you will be prepared. Also, you have a timer and each time the timer ends, the enemies will become stronger. Once you kill enough Chosen, ascend to the last area of the game.
- Here, you will fight another boss. This is the end of the cycle and you will fight this battle 3 times before ending the story. Each time, the boss will be stronger but you will also be stronger! Don't be afraid and win this battle 3 times.
Also, if you are strong enough and you want to cut down on time, you can also try to get some trophies during the last three cycles. In order to do this, you have to:
- Open as many rifts as possible in the Greece section! This will increase the number of Fleeting Echoes, so you will be able to reach the 15.000 goal for Easy Come, Easy Go
- Check the floor on the very first room for a purple object needed for You Again?
- Equip any Cosmetic Armor for Style Points
- Anytime you start the Valhalla, chose a different Weapon Path after opening the first chest, as different weapon paths will make you explore different realms for Wayfarer
- Complete Mastery Quests in order to shorten time to unlock Understood the Assignment
At the end of this step, you will get:
God of Hope
Invitation Accepted
Dark Odyssey
Blood, Sweat, and Týr
Scry Me a River
No Kratos, No Scry
Easy Come, Easy Go
Style Points
Step 2: Clean Up
If you followed the indications during the first step, you should have almost all trophies except You Again? and Fight at the Forum . Depending on your luck and your playstyle, probably you will also miss Understood the Assignment and Wayfarer but you should be close to getting them.
Start a new cycle and get the other purple object at the very first room. Now, reach the Greece section for Fight at the Forum and unlock the arena. To unlock it, you will need to slay 7 Chosen. Once the arena unlocks, reach it in the top area of the section and start the fight. You don't have to win.
Start another cycle for the last key and complete anything you missed previously.
At the end of this step, you will get:
You Again?
Fight at the Forum
Wayfarer
Understood the Assignment
