Thanks to IGN.com

Step 1: Complete the game on Spartan Mode (Hard).
You'll want to start the game on Spartan Mode and play all the way through the game. During this playthrough, you'll unlock the majority of the trophies in the game. Most of the trophies happen to be story related and cannot be missed while playing. While playing through the game, there are a few things that you should always keep in mind, which are the following:

  1. Collecting all the Gorgon Eyes
  2. Collecting all the Phoenix Feathers
  3. Open every chest you come across
  4. Completely upgrade all weapons and magic

You really don't need a collectible guide to find all the Gorgon Eyes and Phoenix Feathers since they're literally out in the open like every other normal chest in the game. However, a fellow member of our community, OstKakan, has taken the time and effort to compose a great Gorgon Eyes and Phoenix Feather Text Guide. With that being said, you should be aware of the 4 missable trophies within the game. These missable trophies can cause you to complete a 2nd playthrough as a speed-run. Below are the missable trophies in the order they will appear in the game:

  1. Two Girls One Spartan
  2. Collateral Damage
  3. Mutton for Punishment
  4. Old Softie

Please refer to the trophy guide section for more information. Other than that, the game is very short and will only take you an average of 6-8 hours to complete the game for the first time since the game is very straightforward. At the near end of the game though, take note, that when you're finally reunited with your daughter, Calliope, don't push her away from you for 1 minute. This is one of the missable trophies, Old Softie, and missing this one will require you to playthrough the entire game all over again, since it's the near end of the game. Last of all, you should save your game at the final and last save point before continuing up the stairs to face the final boss of the game. The Reason is, you'll want to watch the movie 'Atlas and Persephone' three times, which is the cut-scene of Persephone transforming into an armor suited for a goddess, and then flies away towards a tower along with Kratos. Watch this scene three times, either by simply dying to reload your last checkpoint, or you can go to the Treasures & In-Game Movies and simply skip all the movies until you have unlocked the Cool Story Bro. trophy. Once you completed the game on Spartan mode you'll unlock the Getting Your Money's Worth trophy.

Step 2: Start a new game on Mortal Mode (Easy) with an unlocked costume - Plus clean up.
Now that you have completed the game once, you'll have access to an unlocked costume which is most likely the "Spud of War" - the potato costume, which has skill expertise in Magic. Starting a new game with an unlocked costume will unlock your Cosplayer trophy.

Now, if you happened to miss any of the missable trophies during your first playthrough, then you should use the "Spud of War" costume for clean up as a speed-run playthrough. With this costume you can fly through the game within 1 hour and 30+ minutes by spamming the infinite magic powers. You'll want to spam the Charon's Wrath and the Light of Dawn magic skills. Also keep in mind that all your upgrades and skills will all carry over, which will make this playthrough a breeze. It won't take long to reach the areas that you missed the missable trophies in. For more information about the locations of the missable trophies, please refer to the trophy guide section.

Important note about using costumes. It isn't possible to beat the game on Mortal Mode (easy) and then use the costume unlocked to attempt to start a new game on Spartan Mode (hard) for the Getting Your Money's Worth trophy. You can only use the costumes that you've unlocked for the difficulties that you've completed the game on or lower difficulties. In other words, in order to use a costume on Spartan, you would have to complete the game on either Spartan or God Mode (very hard) without using costumes. This rule also applies to the "Mckratos" costume that you unlock after clearing all 5 Challenge of Hades.

Step 3: Complete the Challenge of the Gods.
Once you have completed the game, you'll unlock the "Challenge of Hades" within the "Treasures" options, in the game's main menu screen. There are a total of 5 challenges that you'll have to complete. You can choose to do this step first before doing Step 2 if you wish. Thankfully, these challenges are extremely easier than what God of War 1 and 2 had to offer, so if you have completed those challenges before, then this truly will be a piece of cake for you. Once you completed all these challenges you'll unlock your Piece of Cake trophy. If you're having a difficult time with a challenge, then please refer to the Challenge of Hades Guide for more information.

  • Defend the Shores of Attica

This is a story related trophy and cannot be missed. This is at the very beginning of the game on the shores. Kill all the enemies and you'll be prompted to use the wooden cannon launcher. Run over to it, and press and hold the button and pull it back with the button and then release it. You'll automatically destroy the Persian Fleet and your trophy will unlock.

  • Finish all beam walks

This is a story related trophy and cannot be missed. This is during the first level right before you're about to enter the castle. First, you'll have to climb up the wooden tower to reach the top platform, then knockdown the wooden wall before you and continue going to the right towards the castle palace. The floors are broken and there will only be a support beam that will enable you to cross to the other side. Walk across this beam and if you slip off it, simply tap the button repeatedly until you jump back onto the beam. Once you've reached the other side of the support beam your trophy will unlock.

  • Collect all Gorgon Eyes

For this trophy, you must collect 15 Gorgon Eyes to fully upgrade your health to the maximum. There are plenty of opportunities to collect these as there are more than 15 Gorgon Eyes in the game. A fellow member of our community, OstKakan, has taken the time and effort to compose a great Gorgon Eyes and Phoenix Feather Text Guide. • Execute a 200-hit combo

Please see Heavy Hitter for more information.

  • Slit 50 Satyr throats

Missable! This is one of the missable trophies in the game if you haven't been farming your 50 Satyr throat kills. For this trophy you're going to have to cut the throats of 50 Satyr enemies. This trophy is cumulative throughout all your playthroughs, but you'll want to farm your kills when you're given the chance by simply dying and restarting the checkpoint over.

The best place to farm this trophy is right after killing Charon, the ship will dock at the Temple of Persophone. Upon docking, Satyr will spawn until you killed all 6 of them. Using the Gauntlet of Zeus against them is the ideal choice of weapon to quickly weaken them until you're prompted to press the button against them. Press to engage in the mini game and upon beating the mini game, you'll successfully slit the targeted Satyr's throat. Do this towards the other Satyrs until you have only one enemy left and simply let him kill you or you can kill either yourself much faster by failing the mini game over and over against him until you die. Rinse and repeat this checkpoint farming until your trophy unlocks. Below, sunnygrg has provided a video on how to farm the slit 50 Satyr throat kills:

  • Parry 50 attacks

You'll need the Sun Shield relic for this trophy and you must parry over 50 attacks. This trophy is cumulative throughout all your playthroughs and it can also be obtained in the Challenge of the Gods. This will most likely unlock naturally while you’re playing through the game. You can parry attacks by pressing the button right before being hit to knock an enemy backwards and leaving them vulnerable to attacks from you. To speed this trophy unlocking up you can keep parrying the attacks against opponents like the Fire Guards or Satyrs. Performing over 50 successful parries will unlock your trophy.

  • Beat the Challenge of the Gods

The Challenge of the Gods can be unlocked by completing the game once. You must clear and complete all of Hades challenges. This might be perhaps the hardest trophy to obtain in the entire game, especially challenges 3 and 4 since those are time limited against you. If you're having a difficult time with a challenge, then please refer to the God of War: Chains of Olympus ~ Challenge of Hades Guide for more information.

  • Execute a 1000-hit combo

This trophy isn't as difficult as it may sound. There are a few different ways and methods to go about getting a 1000-hit combo. If you're playing the game for the first time, then the first opportunity to get this trophy will be on the final confrontation against the Basilisk boss fight on the bridge. First, you'll want to push the Basilisk back until he climbs onto the castle and you'll see the button being prompted to be hit. Instead, ignore pressing the button and simply keep attacking the Basilisk's right claw (switch is your left). Keep spamming the Blades of Chaos normal attacks by repeatedly pressing the button for 8 hits each time added to your hit combo meter counter. If you've upgraded your Blades of Chaos weapon to level 2 by spending 2650 red orbs for the cost, you can spam the Cyclone of Chaos attack by pressing the + buttons for 10 hits instead of 8 hits each time. Keep spamming away until you've reached a 1000-hit combo. This method will take about 5-10 minutes to execute.

    Thanks to PowerPyx

Now, if you didn't do the above normal method way. Then you be glad to hear that there is an infinite magic method to get a 1000-hit combo. To do this infinite magic method, you'll first need to have completed the game once and have unlocked the "Spud of War" - the potato costume. Below is a quick reference on how to start a new game+ with an unlocked costume:
    • Select New Game
    • Select desired difficulty
    • Select YES when asked to carry over previous saved data
    • Select the Spud of War costume
After starting your new game+ with the "Spud of War" costume. Simply make your way to the first Basilisk encounter and simply spam the Charon's Wrath magic by pressing the + buttons over and over again. Once again, ignore the prompted button and keep spamming away until you've reached a 1000-hit combo for your trophy to unlock. This method will take about 3-5 minutes to execute.

    Thanks to PowerPyx

  • Play the game with an unlocked costume

Simply complete the game for the first time, then go to the main menu and select New Game. Now, select any difficulty you wish to play on, except for a difficultly that you never completed or played before such as God Mode (very hard,) and once you've selected your desired difficulty. You'll then be asked to select an unlocked costume. Choose any costume that you've unlocked and start playing the game. You don't have to play through the entire game again for your trophy will unlock just after a few seconds of playing with the new costume on Kratos. Below is the complete listing of costumes and their unlocking requirements:

    Bonus Costume 1:
    Spud of War
    Skill: Magic
Beat the game on any difficulty to unlock.

    Bonus Costume 2
    McKratos
    Skill: Power
Beat the Challenge of Hades to unlock.

    Bonus Costume 3
    Mime of War
    Skill: Red Orbs
Beat the game in God Mode to unlock.

  • Beat the game

Simply complete the game once on any difficulty.

  • Beat the game (Hard Mode)

Simply complete the game on Spartan Mode difficulty. Below are some basic God of War series tips and tricks.

Getting Your Money's Worth General Tips:
    • Save Points: Keep more than one save file. You'll want to save your game every time you reach a save point.
    • Game hints: Take note of the game various hints given to you while playing through the game. These hints are extremely helpful and they don't go away without saying something useful.
    • Health and Magic: You'll want to increase both, your health and magic meters, to fully upgraded status by collecting 5 Gorgon Eyes and 5 Phoenix Feathers. These items can be found in grey chest throughout the game. There are a total of 15 Gorgon Eyes and Phoenix Feathers for you to collect.
    • The game is smart when you're dying: If you happen to be dying a certain number of times repeatedly over and over again at the same checkpoint and your health is below about 85%, the game will detect that you're having a difficult time killing the enemies and will restore your health meter to about 85% as a way to secretly help you. The game will also do this if your health is over 85% and will instead lower your health meter. In a way, this is a double edge sword for you or against you.
    • Blocking: If you're receiving too much punishment from enemies attacks, then try block their attacks by holding down the button. Doing this will help you block blockable attacks, or you can reflect projectile attacks, and even parry enemy attacks back at them if you press the button at the right moment. Be careful though when blocking, because certain attacks are completely unblockable.
    • Evading enemies attacks: The button is your friend and you should become used to using it to dodge attacks.
    • Grabbing move: You can spam the grab move by pressing the button to instantly kill certain enemies. Also note, that other enemies cannot, or will not, attack you until your grab animation is finished. You can kill certain enemies by repeatedly pressing the button over and over again until you killed them, then move on to another enemy and repeat. This makes Spartan Mode much easier for you if you’re facing numerous enemies at once.
    • The Archers: You want to kill the archers first if you’re able to. They can attack you from afar and are able to interrupt your attacks. Simply one hit kill archers with the grabbing move.
    • The Gauntlet of Zeus: Once you obtained this you'll want to max it out for it's the best and most over powered weapon at your disposal.

Secret trophies

  • Kill Charon, the Ferryman

This is a story related trophy and cannot be missed. Charon is a boss fight and is the Ferryman of Underworld. Charon is fought twice throughout the game. You'll obtain this trophy on the second encounter and not the first encounter. Below are the phases of how to defeat him:

    Boss Fight - Charon's attacks:

    • Scythe Combo: A standard multiple attack with his scythe.
    • Energy Ball: Fires 3 green balls of energy towards you.
    • Pyre Wall: A huge pyre wall flies at you (Instant kill).
    • Charon's Wraith: Breathes his specialty of Charon's Wraith (breath) on you dealing multiple hits.
    • Scythe Explosion: Hit's the ground with his scythe creating a green energy explosion within a blast radius.

    Phase 1:
This is the same phase during your first encounter you had against him. Just simply keep attacking him with whatever weapon of choice you choose, until his health is about 30% depleted. Eventually he’ll go on top of the ship, but this time you can attack and destroy one of the three pillars below him. Destroy a pillar and he'll come back down to face you again.

    Phase 2:
During this phase, he will start to spam you with his Charon's Wrath attack. If you get hit by his Charon's Wrath attack, he'll continuously attack you for about 5 seconds over and over again. Simply dodge or roll over these when they appear. Continue to attack him and reflect whatever he shoots at you and keep blocking his scythe attacks until he goes back onto the ship's upper area. Once again, destroy another pillar for him to come back down to face you.

    Phase 3:
During this phase, he willl begin to use his Scythe Explosion attacks against you. Simply jump over these each time he performs this move and continue to attack him. You'll also notice that he becomes vulnerable to more attacking punishment when he performs a much bigger Scythe Explosion attack at the middle of the ship, due to his scythe getting stuck in the ground. After damaging him enough times you'll impale him to the ship's wall with his own scythe.

    Phase 4:
This is the final phase of the battle. Once you impaled him to the wall. Grab his mask and Charon will free himself from the wall and will now start to float around the ship. Reflect every Energy Ball he shoots at you and once he goes down, quickly run up to him and engage in the mini game by pressing the button and complete the sequences that appears on screen until you killed Charon for good.

  • Cause the Basilisk to retreat

This is a story related trophy and cannot be missed. The Basilisk is a lizard-like monster that is fought many times during the battle of Attica. During the first encounter with the Basilisk, simply attack it with your Blades of Chaos and continue to evade his attacks. Once his health is low enough engage in the mini game by pressing the button and complete the sequences that appears on screen. Then grab the beam object right next to it and swing it at the Basilisk for your trophy to unlock.

  • Push away Calliope

This is a story related trophy and cannot be missed. This is at the near end of the game where Kratos finally reached his daughter, Calliope, in the Fields of Elysium. Kratos will make the decision to go after Persephone and will have no choose but to push Calliope away. Simply tap the button over and over again until Kratos pushed her away for the last and final time, thus unlocking your trophy.

  • Sacrifice powers

This is a story related trophy and cannot be missed. This is where you first meet Persephone in the Groves of Persephone for the first time. After the cut-scene ends, Have Kratos sacrifice all his powers into the tree in front of you by standing in the center and pressing the button. Complete the mini games and after completing the last mini game, your trophy will unlock.

  • Kill Persephone

This is a story related trophy and cannot be missed. Persephone is the Queen of Underworld, who is plotting to bring the end of the world and serves as the game's final boss fight. By the time you face her, you should most likely have all your weapons and magic fully upgraded by this point in the game. Persephone is perhaps one of the most strongest female bosses ever created for a video game. This final boss fight will take part in four phases.

    Boss Fight - Persephone's attacks:
    • Charge: She charges at you and then slams her fist down towards you causing a green pillar of energy to erupt out of the ground.
    • Double Punch: Standard punches with her fists.
    • Rock Throw: She'll kick the ground causing a huge chunk of rock to appear and will then kick it right towards you.
    • Dark Ball: Fires a powerful big dark ball of black/green energy at you.
    • Dark Ray: Shines a black/green ray at you that will then explode on contact.
    • Dark Pillar: Summons and creates a dark pillar of energy that erupts from the ground.

    Phase 1:
When the fight beings she'll charge attack you and then double punch you and maybe or may not she'll perform her Rock Throw attack at you. You'll want to you the Gauntlet of Zeus for this fight and attack her with a basic 2-3 hit combo and either roll or jump away from her as she performs her own attacks against you. When you back away from her she'll always perform her Rock Throw attack against you. No matter what, you'll want to dodge every Rock Throw attack she kicks your way for these will inflict major damage. Rinse and repeat these steps until a cut-scene happens.

    Phase 2:
This phase is a mini game interactive cut-scene. This phase of the battle is also the Atlas in Chains trophy, so complete the mini game by completing the sequences that appears on screen until you've chain the Titan, Atlas, to the world. Once you've chained Atlas, your health will be completely restored.

    Phase 3:
During this phase Persephone will stay on top of one of the three pillars. She'll shot her Dark Ball of energies at you, so reflect these back at her by pressing the button at the right timing until she collapses. When she goes down, quickly run towards her and double jump into the air with and then press use the charged + with the Gauntlet of Zeus equipped to perform the Olympic Thunder move. This move will inflect major damage towards her. When Persephone regains conscious, she'll move towards another pillar. Each time she moves towards a new pillar she'll become more aggressive with her attacks and will begin to attack with each of her "Dark" type attacks. Continue dodge her techniques and reflect her Dark Balls back at her. Until you finally depleted her health to the point she collapses on the ground.

    Phase 4:
This is the final phase of the battle. When Persephone is collapsed on the ground and is rendered unable to fight back. Run towards the golden light circle in the middle of the field. Once on the golden light press the button to bring out the Sun Shield and then keep tapping the button. Be careful though on not to continue pressing the button for other button commands will pop up as she's getting closer towards you. After successfully completing the proper corresponding buttons to kill her and complete the game, your trophy will unlock.

  • Chain the Titan, Atlas

This is a story related trophy and cannot be missed. This is after you completed the 1st phase of the final boss fight against Persephone. She'll try to deceive you and will call upon the Titan, Atlas, to attack and kill you. Follow and complete the sequences that appears on screen until you've chained the Titan to the world. Once you cleared the mini game, your trophy will unlock.

  • Finish parry puzzle

This is a story related trophy and cannot be missed. Once you grabbed and acquired the Helios Reflect. The Guardian Statues will immediately come to life and will, one at a time, begin to start shooting fireballs at you. Reflect their fireball attack back at them by pressing the button at the right moment to destroy the Guardian Statue that fired it at you. Repeat this until you destroyed all three Guardian Statues this way for your trophy to unlock.

  • Acquire the Triton Lance

This is a story related trophy and cannot be missed. Upon entering The Caves of Olympus, a brief cut-scene will happen that will show you the proper path to take in order to reach the Triton Lance. After you collected the Gorgon Eye from the chest here, climb up the walls to reach the upper platform were the Triton Lance can be grabbed. Pick it up by pressing the button. Once you obtained the Triton Lance in your possession, you'll unlock your trophy.

The first thing you want to do is kill the Medusa and seal the gate door shut so no more Medusa spawns. Now, go and kill the four Archers near the fog. Once you killed all the enemies, grab the fire torch that is being held by a statue soldier. Take the torch towards the haystack cart and light the cart on fire by pressing the button when prompted to. Now, simply push the flaming cart through Morpheus's fog and kill the enemies here so they won't interrupt you from pushing the flaming cart through the fog. Once you reached the top of the fog, your trophy will unlock.

  • Find ballista secret

Missable! This is one of the missable trophies in the game, but thankfully it's during the first level of the game. Once you defeated the Persian King and his minions, continue your game by going through the left chamber and climb up the wall to the upper platform. Here the game will teach you about kicking the ladders down and you'll see the Basilisk on top of a build wreaking havoc and destruction. First of all, kill all the enemies, and then kick down the ladders so no more enemies spawn. Instead of using the wooden cannon launcher towards the Basilisk, turn the launcher cannon towards the middle buildings instead and fire it on the building in the middle of the map to destroy a building to unlock the trophy.

    Thanks to PowerPyx

  • Entertain the Persian harem

Missable! This is one of the missable trophies in the game, but thankfully it's during the first level of the game. After defeating the Persian King and killing the enemies that spawn after he's dead the two doors will open on both your left and your right. Enter into the right chamber to find two lovely naked Persian women who are both waiting to be entertained by Kratos. Walk up to the women and press the button to start the mini game and successfully complete the corresponding buttons that follow. Once you successfully completed the mini game, you'll unlock the trophy.

  • Kill the Basilisk

This is a story related trophy and cannot be missed. The Basilisk is a lizard-like monster that is fought many times during the battle of Attica. The final confrontation against the Basilisk will be on the bridge. This fight takes part in 3 phases.

    Boss Fight - Basilisk's attacks:

    • Bite: A standard bite attack.
    • Claw Swipe: Will swipe at you with his claws.
    • Fire Breath: Breathes fire like a dragon.
    • Bite Grab: Will grab you with his mouth.
    • Fire Balls: Shoots fire balls from the tower that will create a ring of fire on the ground.

    Phase 1:
During this phase you'll have to push the Basilisk backwards by attacking him with your Blades of Chaos. Do this by simply staying in the middle and attack from there. Going to either the right or left sides of the Basilisk will cause him to attack you with his Claw Swipe attack, which is unblockable, but can easily be evaded by rolling away from it with the button. Choosing to stay in the center of the field will only cause the Basilisk to bite at you, which can be blocked by holding down the button.

This Basilisk has no health meter so ignore how much damage you're inflicting on him and just keep attacking him until he retreats backwards. Note, that every time you knock him backwards he'll use his Fire Breath attack, which can easily be dodged by simply jumping over it by pressing the button. Also note, that he's able to Bite Grab attack you sometimes and you'll have to press both the + buttons repeatedly until he releases you. Once you knock him backwards enough he'll climb onto the castle walls and will rain down his Fire Balls attacks towards you. These are easy to avoid and dodge by simply zig zagging across the field towards the Basilisk's claw. Press the button when prompted and then rotate the button to pull down the tower onto the Basilisk.

    Phase 2:
This phase is the same as phase 1. Simply repeat the above procedure over again until you're prompted to press the button when prompted and then rotate the button to pull down the tower onto the Basilisk.

    Phase 3:
This is the final phase of the fight. Simply repeat the above procedures over again, until you're prompted to press the button at the center of the field to finally kill the Basilisk by completing the mini game. Once the Basilisk has finally been killed for good, your trophy will unlock.

  • Kill the Persian King

This is a story related trophy and cannot be missed. The Persian King is a boss fight and he's the leader of the Persian army against the city of Attica. This fight takes part in 2 phases.

Boss Fight - Persian King's attacks:

    • Efreet: A fire spirit summoning that comes out from the King's back and slams it's fist into the ground knocking everything down.
    • Fire Slash: Sword is engulfed in flames and is slashed downwards towards the player.
    • Sword Combo Attack: Two standard slashes from his sword.

    Phase 1:
This isn't much of a fight, but he has the Efreet magic at his disposal which he rarely even uses. You can easily combo attack into him with your Blades of Chaos and evade his attacks when necessary. He'll have Persian soldiers backing him up during this fight, so kill them before they get in your way. When you've weakened the Persian King enough you'll be prompted to enter a mini game by pressing the button. Complete the mini game to trigger a cut-scene.

    Phase 2:
After the cut-scene ends and the Persian King pleads for mercy, Kratos will pick up a chest full of gold. So tap the button repeatedly to bash it into the King's face until he's dead. Once the Persian Kill has been brutally killed, your trophy will unlock.

  • Break the Chains of Tartarus

This is a story related trophy and cannot be missed. This is after your first fight against Charon where he'll cast you away into the Underworld. Once Charon sends you into the depths of the Underworld Kratos will wake up imprisoned within chains in Tartarus. Simply tab both the + buttons repeatedly until you've broken free from the chains. Once you break the Chains of Tartarus your trophy will unlock.

  • Move the Titan, Hyperion

This is a story related trophy and cannot be missed. This is at the very end of the Tartarus level, where you'll find 2 switches that will lower the chains on the ceiling. Lowering the chains on the ceilings will enable you to climb towards the other end of the ceiling, where you'll find the 3rd switch. Flipping the 3rd switch will move the Titan, Hyperion, from the wall he's against. After opening the path towards a new area, you'll unlock the trophy.

  • Running across the long chain

This is a story related trophy and cannot be missed. This is right after you moved the Titan, Hyperion, and enter an area that is full of gears. Operate the gears to get across to the other side of the area and kill everything that spawns along the way. Once you reached a long chain, simply press the button to straighten the chain out across the field. Now jump onto the long chain and start running across it until your trophy unlocks.

  • Acquire Gauntlet of Zeus

This is a story related trophy and cannot be missed. The Gauntlet of Zeus is found in the Temple of Zeus. Once you have killed all the enemies in the room, go to the spot that's shining on the ground in the center in front of the statue of Zeus. Press the button to pull down the Gauntlet of Zeus and pick it up off the ground to unlock the trophy.

  • Awaken all three horses

This is a story related trophy and cannot be missed. For this trophy, you'll have to turn on the light pillars to awaken all three horses. Once you have all the light pillars turned on and aimed towards the three horses, rotate each of the three pillars so the light hits each of the horses, then go to the shiny spot on the ground and press the button. Doing so will start a cut-scene as well as unlock your trophy.

  • Break out of stone status 5 times in a row

For this trophy, you must simply get turned into stone 5 times in a row from the Medusa's deadly gaze and then break out of the stone by pressing both the + buttons repeatedly until you broken free from the stone status. When you encounter a Medusa, simply let her shine her green ray on you to turn yourself to stone, then break free and repeat this procedure 5 times in a row until your trophy unlocks. The City of Marathon is the first time you'll encounter a Medusa, where you'll have to seal the gate door shut to stop Medusa enemies from spawning. The Ruins of Asphodel is the second time you'll encounter a Medusa after you break the wall on the left. You can even unlock this trophy from the Challenge of Hades 4 by letting the Medusa stone statues turn you into stone and break out. You'll have enough time to do this five time in a row (Thanks goes to barakmh1). You can also earn this trophy from the Challenge of Hades 5 as long as you don't get shattered and killed in the process.

  • Don't push away Calliope for one minute

Highly Missable! This is one of the missable trophies in the game. The worst thing about this trophy is it requires another complete playthrough if you overwrite your save files. This is near the end of the game where Kratos finally reached his daughter, Calliope, in the Fields of Elysium. Kratos will make the decision to go after Persephone and will have no choose but to push Calliope away. Instead of pushing away Calliope, do nothing for an entire minute and simply wait. Once a full minute has passed, your trophy will unlock.

If you so happened to have missed this trophy, start a new game on Mortal (easy) with the costume "Spud of War" and do a speed-run playthrough of the entire game to get to this point. With that costume you'll beat the game within 1 hour and 30+ minutes, so don't fret too much about missing it.

  • Watch the movie 'Atlas and Persephone' three times

This is a somewhat misleading, but this is the cut-scene that happens right before the final boss fight against Persephone. She'll transform into an armor suited for a goddess and will fly away towards a tower and Kratos will lash onto her. Once the cut-scene ends simply let Persephone kill you. Upon dying you'll restart at the checkpoint before the cut-scene happens. Rinse and repeat this procedure two more times until your trophy unlocks.

Alternatively, once you've completed the game for the first time, you can go into Treasures at the game's main menu screen and then select In-Game Movies. Just simply skip through all of movies until you get the trophy. You might need to do it twice if you didn't die during the final boss fight.
