Note: In order to play Goat Simulator, you must have the latest firmware installed. If you are playing on the PS3 then you must at least have firmware 4.75 installed but if you are playing on the PS4 then you must at least have firmware 2.72 installed. If you are on a firmware version any lower than the above, then the game will simply refuse to install or even load.

Introduction
Originally intended as a joke to mock the plethora of shovelware simulators that have plagued PC gaming in recent years, Goat Simulator has now become one of the most popular simulator games itself and with good reason. The game is incredibly silly and fun and doesn't take itself seriously at all. The goat-flinging chaos is laced with a multitude of pop-culture references and various Easter eggs that are sure to make you chuckle. The game features two "levels" that are essentially playgrounds akin to a sandbox world. If you've ever played PAIN, think of Goat Simulator as PAIN only with goats.

Trophy-wise, Goat Simulator is a very simple and enjoyable journey, save the infamous The Flapmaster trophy, which is easily the most time-consuming and frustrating trophy in the game and the only such trophy at that. As such, it'll likely end up being the last trophy you earn before the platinum. Being a sandbox game, there are no missable trophies and you can tackle them in any order you please. However, some trophies can only be earned on certain maps and that is noted in the guide. The game also features splitscreen multiplayer and all of the trophies can be earned in this mode if you choose to play with a friend. Aside from that, there are three trophies that may potentially glitch on you - Around the World in 5 Jumps, Try Hard, and I freaking love goats. Luckily, the glitches are not severe and are easily overcome. Refer to these trophies in the guide for more information.

There is no correct way to play the game or earn its trophies so it's really up to you to determine what trophies you want to go after and when. However, for the sake of efficiency, a general walkthrough is outlined below.

Walkthrough

Step 1: Unlock the Angel Goat mutator and earn all the trophies specific to Goatville.

Load up Goatville and make unlocking the Angel Goat mutator your priority - it becomes very useful in unlocking other trophies. Once that's done, focus on earning all the trophies that can only be earned in Goatville.

Become the Queen of GoatVille
Map: GoatVille

As soon as you spawn in GoatVille, walk forward to the small tower in front of you. Climb the spiral stairs and enter the black room at the top. This will teleport you to a church. Walk down the aisle lined with goats and hop up onto the throne at the end. After a couple of seconds, your goat will be engulfed by flames and you will unlock the Goat Queen mutator along with this trophy.
Alexander Goatstafsson

Win the title bout!
Map: GoatVille

From the left of the spawn, there is a wide open field area. Head to the back of this area and you will find a large ring with numerous humans standing along the outside. When you enter the ring, you will have to "fight" goat challengers. You win by knocking the other goat out of the ring using your headbutt attack (). After completing five rounds in the ring, you will earn this trophy and a new mutator.
What is its purpose?

Thrash the Goathenge
Map: Goatville

The Goathenge is located in the open field area of GoatVille and it essentially serves as a parody of the historical Stonehenge. All you have to do to earn this trophy is head over to this area and knock over all the stones. Knocking down one will usually set off a domino effect and destroy the rest of the landmark. When you've satisfied the requirements, a message will appear in the center of the screen saying "Thrash the Goathenge!" and the trophy will unlock shortly afterwards.
Angel Goat

Do no evil

To earn this trophy you must refrain from attacking any humans for 5 consecutive minutes, it really is that simple. If you can restrain your violent urges for 5 minutes, you'll unlock this trophy as well as the Angel Goat mutator which is easily the most useful skin in the game.

Note: If you took the common sense route and just left your game idle for at least 5 minutes, the trophy won't actually pop until you move again.
Boulder of Death

Hit the party with the Boulder of Death
Map: GoatVille

Starting at the spawn, there are a number of houses on the right side of the map. Look for the red house, easily distinguished by the barbecue taking place in the backyard. From the backyard, head up the hill and you should find a large boulder resting on the hill. Get behind it then headbutt it and it will roll down the hill and into the party below. Once it makes contact, the trophy will unlock.

Demogoat

Have 10 gas canisters explode at the same time
Map: GoatVille

While it is entirely feasible to drag ten different gas canisters together and blow them up that way. Fortunately there is a place on the map where ten gas canisters are already in close proximity that will allow you to easily get this trophy, they are located on the very top floor of the construction site. To ensure that they blow up, walk up to one of the canisters and headbutt it with . Because they are all so close together, they will explode simultaneously and the trophy will pop as you get blasted halfway across the map.
Devil Goat

We are each our own devil, and we make this world our hell
Map: GoatVille

Before you can get into the real work behind this trophy, you should first unlock the Goat Queen mutator so that you can summon "peasant" goats from the sky. Once you have this unlocked, head to the far right corner of the map and you will find a pentagram on the ground. Once you are there, press repeatedly to summon goats from the sky and wait for them to fall to the ground around you. Only 4 goats will be summoned. From there, you need to drag each goat into the pentagram using your tongue (). Alternatively you can just stand in the center of the pentagram and summon the goats, this way you won't even have to bother dragging them in. You then need to drag a human into the pentagram for a total body count of 5. You can find one nearby at the barbecue behind the red house. Once the five bodies are in the pentagram, they'll morph into a disgusting polygon ball and you will unlock the Devil Goat mutator alongside this trophy.
LOEK master

Find the Sanctum 2 Walker Statue
Map: GoatVille

Directly to the right of the spawn area, there is a trampoline. If you look forward and slightly up from the trampoline, you will see a small treehouse. This statue is inside the treehouse. To reach it, you'll need to bounce on the trampoline a couple of times in order to reach a height that will allow you to land inside the treehouse.

Alternatively you can use the Angel Goat mutator (if you have it unlocked) in conjunction with the Double Jump mutator to simply jump up into the treehouse. Either way, the trophy will unlock once you lick the statue with .

Note: Once you find the statue, I recommend bringing it over to the pentagram in the far right corner of the map. You will need to do this anyway for the Trying to bring forth Sanctum 3? trophy.
Pedestrian

Find the Sanctum 1 Walker Statue
Map: GoatVille

Directly behind the spawn is a house you can enter. Walk inside and head upstairs. Once upstairs, head to the left and enter the room farthest down on the right. The statue is sitting in a bedroom on top of a cabinet. Lick it with to unlock the trophy.

Note: Once you find the statue, I recommend bringing it over to the pentagram in the far right corner of the map. You will need to do this anyway for the Trying to bring forth Sanctum 3? trophy.
Goats 'n' Stuff

Hold your own concert
Map: Goat City Bay

Scan the scene and look for the tallest building on the map, located to the right of the amusement park. At the very top of this building, on the roof, there is a concert taking place. There are two ways to get up there, one of which will net you a trophy. Please refer to A Story About My Elevator for more information, I recommend doing both of these trophies at the same time if you haven't unlocked them yet. Enter the tall building from street level and walk into the open elevator at the back of the hotel lobby. This will take you directly to the roof where the concert is. Walk behind the DJ table and headbutt Deadmau5. Upon doing so, you will earn this trophy as well as a Deadmau5 mask.

Travel to space!

Directly behind the spawn is a house you can enter. Walk into the garage and look to your left and you should see a shiny blue object on the table there. Lick it with and drag it out into the open field area. Look for a crop circle in the dirt (behind the lone tree in the center). You should see a wooden pole in the center of the crop circle, with a blue object on it, identical to the one you picked up. Just ahead of that is another crop circle with a wooden pole. Walk up to it with the blue object still on your tongue, and it will automatically be place on the pole. Now, simply wait for 30 seconds or so and a UFO will enter the map and float above the crop circles. You'll need to jump into the beam emanating from the UFO and it will suck you up and transport you into space. To return to Earth you need to reload your save.

Map: Goat City Bay

From the spawn, follow the road straight and keep your eye out for a garage you can enter on the left side of the road. Walk inside and you should see a funky looking machine with a blue crystal floating inside it, as well as a "Do Not Lick!!!" warning painted on the wall. Simply hop into the machine and the trophy will pop.

Disgusting

Make your way over to the incredibly tall hotel building. Facing the entrance, head toward the water to the left and you should see a hole in the wall just above water level. Enter inside and the trophy will pop. I'd recommend staying in this sewer area once you get there, because there is another trophy that can be earned here. Refer to Ling Ling into battle go for more information.

Fight the turtle
Map: Goat City Bay

Firstly, you must enter the sewers of Goat City Bay. Refer to Disgusting to see how to get there. Once inside, take your first left and you should see a group of 4 strange men dressed in bright green outfits and colored bandannas. Simply attack them with until the trophy pops.
Dodge This

Make sure the Hillbilly never drives again
Map: GoatVille

The Hillbilly is the guy out in the field area erratically driving a bright orange car in circles. To ensure that he never drives again, you must hit his car with the large boulder located on the right side of the map, in the hills behind the red house. Lick the boulder with and carry it all the way back to the Hillbilly. Stand in his path and make sure he drives into the boulder. Doing so will result in the destruction of his car and the unlocking of this trophy.
Mile High Club

Lick the Hanging Glider

The easiest way to reach the hang glider is to climb the crane at the construction site and make your way to the very edge where the human is sitting. Knock him off if you haven't already, and wait for the hang glider to come around. It will fly sufficiently close to the edge of the crane, and with a carefully timed jump, you can land on top of it. Once you're on top of the glider, press to lick it and the trophy will pop. I recommend using the Double Jump mutator to make things easier. You can also enter slow-mo by pressing (or if you're on the PS4), which is incredibly helpful for this trophy. Having the Angel Goat mutator equipped will also make this trophy markedly easier, as you can jump from the crane and use to slowly and carefully hover down onto the top of the hang glider (credit to DISCOKING for this tip).
Goat of the hill

Everything the light touches is your kingdom
Map: GoatVille

To get this trophy you need to climb to the very top of the crane. This is not where the human is sitting at the edge, it's above that. The easiest way to reach the top is to walk to that edge and from there, jump up to above where the human was sitting. Now you can simply (and carefully) walk up the cable to the top, there is also a collectible up here.
A Story about my elevator

Get up on the skyscraper without using the elevator

For this trophy you need to get to the concert on the roof of the hotel without using the elevator located on the first floor. To do this, head around to the back of the hotel. There is a separate building back here and it's short enough for you to jump on top of it. Once you are up here, you should see a mattress. Bounce on it 3 or 4 times and use this height to make your way over and above the pool and onto a fan on a ledge, which will propel you up to the roof. Upon landing, the trophy will pop.

Mattress Madness

Bounce 100 times on mattresses within 30 seconds
Map: GoatVille

On the fifth floor of the construction site, there is a group of mattresses clustered together in a small space. Just jump on one and keep hitting to bounce quickly. It may be difficult to control your goat while bouncing so rapidly but luckily you don't need to bounce 100 times consecutively, just 100 times total within 30 seconds. This is an easy trophy but if you want to, you can equip the Tall Goat mutator for added insurance.
Trying to bring forth Sanctum 3?

Sacrifice the 3 Sanctum items

Firstly, you must acquire the two Sanctum Walker statues hidden in GoatVille. Please refer to Pedestrian and LOEK master for their locations. You need to bring each of these statues to the pentagram in the far right corner of the map. Once you have the two statues at the pentagram, head over to the construction site. You need to get inside the small blue container hanging from the crane. The easiest way to reach it is to use the fans across from the gas station (on the floor just above some larger red and blue containers) to propel yourself high enough to land on top of it. From there, carefully drop into the container and be ready to press to lick the robot inside this container. If you're not paying attention, he will knock you out of the container and you'll have to make your way back up there. When you've got the robot on your tongue, bring it over to the pentagram and place it in the center with the two statues. The items will be sacrificed and the trophy will unlock.

Around the World in 5 Jumps

Visit 5 trampolines in one jump, bouncing on each trampoline once

Glitch warning:

This trophy seems to be very finicky in terms of when it unlocks. Some earned it on their first attempt, while others didn't earn it until their 5th attempt. If the trophy is not popping for you, then just keep repeating the process until it does.

Map: GoatVille

There are exactly 5 trampolines in Goatville. While you could theoretically bounce on them in any order you want, the easiest sequence is as follows:
1. Construction site
2. Upper level of pool
3. Lower level of pool
4. Backyard behind pool
5. Next to spawn
Head to the construction site and make your way to the fans on the second floor. Get a running start and press to ragdoll into the fans. This should propel you high into the air with great momentum. Use this momentum to make your way over to the first trampoline on the top floor of the construction site, near the crane. From there, fly over to the trampoline in the upper level of the pool. Be wary of the crane here, because it's very easy to whack your head on it and fall straight to the ground. From there, move to the other trampoline in the lower end of the pool. After that, fly forward a little more into a backyard and bounce off the trampoline there, then use that momentum to fly to the left across the street, toward the spawn, to land on the fifth and final trampoline.

Alternatively, you can bounce on the trampolines using regular jumps. If need be, you can also equip the Angel Goat and Double Jump mutators to make the process a little easier.

It is also helpful to know that if you miss the last trampoline but you land very close to it, you can actually use the momentum from bouncing off the ground to bounce onto the last trampoline and still get the trophy.
Try Hard

Find all the trophies in Goat Ville!

Glitch warning:

dcollins22: There is potential for either one or both of the collectible trophies to glitch by not recording that you have picked up a certain collectible. This applies to the Try Hard and the I freaking love goats trophies. In order to avoid the glitch from occurring it is advised that you focus on collectibles for one level at a time, i.e. Collect all 30 goat trophies in GoatVille before starting Goat City Bay. If the trophy does not unlock after collecting all collectibles in either of the levels, then you will need to delete your save and start again. This is not much of a hassle as the collectibles take approximately 15 minutes to collect in each of the two levels.

Tony Goat

Finish all manual quests
If you've ever played a Tony Hawk game then you should know how to start a manual, it's the same thing in Goat Simulator. Flick and then (or vice versa) in quick succession and your goat will start "manualing" by walking on its two front or back legs. The highest tier of manual quests requires you to pull off a 3000 ft manual. I'd recommend entering slow-mo by pressing (or if you're on the PS4) as soon as you start the manual. It'll take a little longer to get to 3000 that way but it's much easier. It's also best to try to perform the manual on a straight stretch of road or in a wide open area but in slow-mo it shouldn't make much of a difference since it's very easy to make turns. To safely land the manual, simply press to jump out of it once you've hit the required 3000 feet.
The Flapmaster

Score 10 points in Flappy Goat

This is, without a doubt, the most difficult, time-consuming and frustrating trophy in the game. If you've ever played Flappy Bird, you'll understand.

Firstly you need to find the Flappy Goat game. It is available on both maps. Their locations are as follows:
- GoatVille: Enter the large house on the right side of the map, labelled "Coffee Stain Studios". Head upstairs and approach the TV. The screen will turn on and you can now press to start playing.
- Goat City Bay: Make your way to the ferris wheel and look directly to the right of it. There are three arcade cabinets on the ground here. Approach the leftmost one to start playing.
You can play Flappy Goat on whatever map you want, but I personally found it easier on Goat City Bay. The gaps between the ladders seem to be larger. I had a much easier time getting to 10 there than I did in GoatVille, but you may find the opposite to be true. If you're having trouble on one map, switch to the other and try your luck there. The objective is to make it through the ladders using to keep yourself afloat. This would normally be frustrating in its own right but unfortunately, Flappy Goat has poor hit detection, meaning you will often end up hitting the obstacles even if your goat is technically not touching it. There is really no skill involved in the game – it's mostly just a matter of trial and error and a little bit of luck. There are, however, a few tips that might help a little bit:

It's easier to go up than it is to go down. Don't float above the obstacles and try to drop down through the spaces. Instead, stay beneath or level with the obstacles and jump up and through the spaces.

Additionally, muting the game's audio may be helpful because doing so can eliminate the distraction factor of the music and sound effects.
Valkyrie

Go on the catapult with a rider on your back
Map: Goat City Bay

Head to the amusement park and look for the mechanical bull, located to the right of the rollercoaster. Jump inside the ring and dismantle the bull by headbutting it with . Wait around for a few seconds and a human will run along and jump on your back, becoming your "rider". Now head back to the spawn and go left from the skate park. Pretend you're trying to go as far back in the map as you can. Follow the roads as far back as you can and soon you'll be able to walk into the woods to the right. On a hill above and behind the spawn, there is a catapult. With the human on your back, jump into the catapult and the trophy will unlock as you violently thrash across the map.

One Ball

Ride a bike for 60 sec

There are red and green bikes scattered throughout both GoatVille and Goat City Bay. To properly ride a bike, you must approach it and press . Your goat will awkwardly sit on the bike like a human and you need to stay on it for a full minute without falling. The controls balance (left and right) as well as speed/direction (forward/backward) and the can be used to turn by adjusting the camera. Luckily, you don't actually need to "ride" the bike. You can simply sit on it and balance back and forth using and for 60 seconds. However, it is important to note that the trophy will not pop until you get off the bike. Therefore, try to play it safe and stay on the bike until you know for sure that it's been more than a minute, then hop off. If need be, you can also use slow-mo to your advantage here by pressing (or if you're on the PS4).
Builder Goat

Find all the blocks
Map: Goat City Bay

What good is a video game if it doesn't explicitly reference Minecraft? Scattered around Goat City Bay are three Minecraft blocks that you must pick up. You can collect them by simply walking into them, as there is no need to lick them or bring them to a specific location. The locations are as follows:
1. From the spawn, head to the right, toward the windmills. Continue past the windmills into the forest and you should reach a dark enclosed cemetery shrouded with purple fog and you will be followed by a mysteriously deformed goat creature. The block is on the left side of the cemetery.
2. To the left of the spawn is a skate park with a huge ramp. Cut across the ramp into the open area of the woods and you will find the dirt block, well-camouflaged, floating toward the back.
3. From the skate park, head down toward the amusement park. Before the water that separates the mainland from the amusement park, there is a dirt path surrounded by numerous trees. This block is floating next to one of the trees.

Is that a goat?

Lick the rollercoaster with 6 batteries attached
Map: Goat City Bay

The first order of business is to gather the 6 batteries required to power the elevator to the rollercoaster. You must lick each one using and bring it back to the rollercoaster. With the battery on your tongue, approach the small panel in the ground (to the left of the booth) and the battery will automatically stick into one of the 6 slots. The locations of the batteries are as follows:
- On the roof of the white building, roughly in the center of the map. It can be accessed via a nearby trampoline. The battery is on the corner of the roof, by some barrels and fireworks.
- Next to the rollercoaster, to the right of where you insert the batteries.
- On the roof of the building with the water silo.
- In an alley across the street from the hotel, inside a small blue shipping container.
- Behind the front desk of the casino, located at the back of the hotel.
- On the roof of the hotel, behind where Deadmau5 is deejaying.
Once all 6 batteries are inserted next to the rollercoaster, the elevator will be activated. Walk inside and ride it up to the top, now wait for the rollercoaster carts to come around then they will stop briefly at the elevator – at that point, lick them with and the trophy will pop shortly afterwards. The video below shows the locations of each of the batteries. Remember that you need to bring them back to the rollercoaster one by one.

Hat Simulator

Buy all hats
Map: Goat City Bay

The hat vendor is located across the street from the hotel, in a store called "Weathers". There are 6 hats you need to buy (they are lined up behind the window). You need to bring cash to the clerk 6 times, since you can only carry one stack of cash at a time. Each time you give them cash, you are allowed to select one hat from the window display. Also be aware that the trophy description is slightly misleading. Not only do you have to buy the hats by giving cash to the clerk, you also need to pick up each hat from the window display otherwise the trophy will not unlock.

There are numerous places on the map where you can find cash and there are far more than the 6 needed for the trophy. Facing Weathers, head to the right and take a left right before the bridge. There is a small outdoor restaurant right around the corner here and there are 4 stacks of cash on the tables there. Additionally, there are three stacks inside the hotel. One is on the first floor, behind the front desk on the left. The other two are on the second floor, one is on a footstool and the other on a table.
I freaking love goats

Find all collectibles on level 2
