Introduction:
Ghostrunner combines the first person free-running of Mirror's Edge with the fast twitch, brutal combat of Hotline Miami for an experience all its own. This game is hard, make no mistake, but thanks to lightning quick restarts and generous checkpoints it isn't punishing, and they were pretty merciful with what could have been an insanely difficult trophy list, which is instead a reasonable challenge.

Walkthrough:

Step 1: Complete the game
Your main priority is going to be completing the story, and for lack of a better term, getting good. The hardest part of this game is just beating it, so worry about that and any trophies that come along with it.

Completing this step will earn you the following trophies:

45 trophies ( 19  21  6  )

  • Obtain all the other trophies

As is tradition, this is earned once you get all the other trophies in the game.
  • Complete a level without dying

This will seem quite daunting when you first start the game, but by the time you've finished your playthrough, you'll be more than ready to tackle this. This is easiest to do in the first chapter, An Awakening. There are only a handful of encounters throughout the level, and with enough practice you can get through them pretty consistently. See the video below for the path I took, which ended up being pretty reliable:
  • Complete your climb up the Tower

Story-related. Once you reach the final cutscene of the game, this trophy will unlock.
  • Collect all audiologs

See Junkrunner trophy_gold.png for more info.
  • Collect all story items

See Junkrunner trophy_gold.png  for more info.
  • Complete your sword collection

See Junkrunner trophy_gold.png for more info.
  • Collect every single collectible item in the game

There are collectibles throughout the game in the form of audio logs, new swords and items. Some of them are incredibly difficult to find on your own, so I suggest following Maka91Productions' guide which I've linked below:
  • Run 42 kilometers

This will likely unlock well before the end of your first playthrough, and will be cumulative across any of your chapter select runs.
  • Kill 1000 enemies

I unlocked this by the time I reached Dharma City, so you'll have more than enough opportunities to get this by the end of your playthrough, but obviously it will depend on how much you're dying. If necessary, reload an early chapter and farm kills.
  • Kill 3 enemies with a single use of Blink

The first and easiest opportunity for getting this will be come in the chapter Faster. Once you reach the train, you'll find two Wardens (the sword carrying enemies) and one of the jumping enemies out in the open. You can wait for them to charge at you and jump out of the way, which will group them all up together. With a little luck and enough attempts, you'll line them up to kill them in a single Blink.

Here's a video if you need a better idea of what I mean:
  • Kill 3 enemies with a single use of Surge

You'll have a couple easy opportunities to get this throughout your playthrough. One is in the chapter Faster (see Triple A trophy_silver.png  for more info), and the other is in the later chapters Reign in Hell or Things You Wouldn't Believe. In those chapters you'll come across enemies called Wrecks, who explode if you get too close. The nice thing about them is that they're almost always in big groups, making them easy targets for most of your special attacks. You'll reach a point where you're running down a corridor and three Wrecks will come out of a hole in a wall in front of you. Select Surge, target all three and the trophy is yours.
  • Force enemies to kill 4 of their allies using Overlord

This is cumulative, and can be done any time you come across two enemies near each other, after you've learned Overlord. Select Overlord from your special attacks, target one of the two enemies and use it on them, and then just keep moving until the targeted enemy kills the other. You'll have countless opportunities to do this after learning Overlord, so just choose your favorite.
  • Kill 3 enemies with a single use of Tempest

This trophy can be earned in the same location as Wave of mutilation trophy_silver.png. Use the Wrecks that crawl out of the hole in the wall in Reign in Hell for an easy trophy.
  • Block Warden's attack 5 times in a row

Wardens are the sword-wielding enemies that first appear in the chapter Echoes. To get this trophy, you'll need to parry their attack by swining your sword as they dash towards you. If done correctly, they'll stagger backwards, but instead of killing them, let them recover and charge again. Do this 5 times in a row for the trophy.
  • Block 5 projectiles in a row using your sword

There's a very good chance you get this accidentally. I got it in the chapter Life Support, early on when you can use the pickups to slow down time. You'll come across several enemies that have the machine guns, and in the process of killing them I swung through enough of their projectiles to earn the trophy.

If this is too finicky for you, find an enemy that's shooting at you from a distance, and practice the timing of swinging your sword to block their projectile. There is an upgrade module you can use that will make blocking much easier.
  • Kill 30 enemies with projectiles reflected using your sword (Reflect module required)

Once you unlock the reflect upgrade module, equip it and several of these kills will likely happen without even trying. Stand as far back as you can while having an enemy continue to shoot at you, and practice the timing of deflecting the shot. Using the upgrade module, if your aim reticle is looking at the enemy, the shot will reflect back and kill them. If necessary, find an enemy to farm this off of.
  • Kill 3 enemies at once with a falling Drone

During the chapter Things You Wouldn't Believe, you'll reach a room with 4 Drones, 2 Shifters (the teleporting enemies) and several regular enemies. Use the grapple straight ahead to reach the platform with the high jump pick-up, and then immediately jump towards the drone to your left. Once you're on top of it, aim it at the platform the Shifter teleported to in front of you, and jump off, avoiding any enemy fire. You should kill all three enemies on the platform for the trophy. Here's a video if you need further help:

  • Kill an enemy with a projectile reflected by Tempest

It's entirely possible you get this without trying if you regularly use Tempest. If you're having trouble, wait until your special meter is full, then find a regular enemy, stand a reasonable distance away and wait for him to shoot at you. Just as the projectile is leaving his gun, use Tempest and it should kill him for the trophy.
  • Fill up GR-SCP so that there are no empty slots left

There may be multiple ways of doing this, but this is the method that worked for me. You'll need to wait until you've unlocked all of the special abilities, and then you can go into the module page and arranging your modules like so:
  • Kill 5 enemies within 10 seconds using just your sword

The easiest opportunity for this trophy is in the chapter The Climb, about halfway through the level. You'll reach a ledge with three consecutive grapple points. Grapple across and kill the person you basically land on. Dash to the next person and kill them, and then quickly kill the third enemy on the other side of that room. Round the corner and kill the enemy with his back to you, and finally the fifth will be just ahead. If you don't get the trophy, you'll need to be a bit faster, so just reload the checkpoint and try again.
  • Use 2 different special abilities within 10 seconds

The easiest way to do this is to wait until you have a full special meter, find a pit or somewhere you can die quickly near an enemy, then use one special ability, die, and when you reload your special meter will be full again, allowing you to use a different special ability for the trophy.
  • Kill a Splitter before it manages to split itself

Splitters are enemies that only appear in the chapter Things You Wouldn't Believe. Earning this trophy will be similar to how you took out the Sniper for the Improvise, adapt, overrun trophy_silver.png   trophy. Use all of your Surge upgrade modules and wait until you find a Splitter that you can approach from a distance without having him split (there are a few opportunities for this). If you get too close and they split into their copies, just die and approach them again. Once you're a safe distance away, use Surge to kill them.
  • Kill 10 enemies in a row without using Sensory Boost

Early on in the chapter Things You Wouldn't Believe, you'll find yourself being swarmed by Wrecks, which are exploding enemies. Rather then use the grapple points to try to get past them, wallrun to your right, around the corner, and eventually you'll find a shuriken pick-up. Use it and take out as many Wrecks as you can until the trophy unlocks.
  • Kill 74 enemies right after jumping off a wall

You'll need to kill 74 enemies throughout the game, and you'll almost certainly get this without trying for it. Wallrun towards an enemy, leap off and kill them before you land.
  • Kill a sniper without getting near him

Once you have the Surge upgrade, go into your upgrade modules and add the upgrades related to Surge, specifically the speed, distance and size. Next, head to the chapter Echoes, and when you reach the first sniper, head down the first decline, hide behind the big box in front of you, then peek out and use Surge, which will kill the sniper and give you the trophy. See the video below for a better visual of what to do.
  • Kill 3 Sluggers using Blink, while they are in the air

Sluggers are the enemies that jump towards you from a distance. The chapter Breathe In has a lot of them, so once you find an area where you can see them coming, wait until they're about to jump, then jump and use your sensory boost, and kill them with Blink before they hit the ground. Repeat twice more for the trophy.
  • Kill 23 enemies in a row without dying

This is best combined with the trophy R is for Running trophy_gold.png. Killing 23 enemies will mean around one and a half playthroughs of the game's first chapter. There are only a couple tricky parts in that chapter, so I recommend playing through the level, and even if you die, just keep going and restart your kill counter. With enough practice, you'll get this before you complete a full second playthrough.
  • Kill 5 enemies with your special abilities, while they are protected by a Beacon Shield

The Beacon Shields are the glowing blue shields that can be disabled by attacking the floating blue balls. Special abilities like Surge and Tempest can go through these shields, so with that in mind you'll be able to easily farm this if you don't get it by the end of your playthrough.
  • Unlock your full potential!

Story-related. This trophy will unlock after getting the Overlord ability.
  • Use dash, wallrun, slide and gap jammer within 1 second

This trophy is incredibly finicky, and is either somewhat random or it requires a very specific sequence. I did this in the chapter The Climb, fairly early into the level you'll reach an area with grapple points above you against a wall (see the video below). What worked for me was to dash, slide, then grapple up into a wallrun. Sliding before dashing never worked for me, and grappling only counts if it leads directly into a wallrun, so the grapple points in mid-air won't work for this. Just keep practicing these sequence and the trophy will unlock.

Secret trophies

  • Decomission Tom

Tom is the first boss of the game, found in the chapter The Gatekeeper. It's essentially a series of progressively harder platforming sections that end with you damaging a part of the machine. Checkpoints are fairly generous with each section, so don't worry about dying a lot (I certainly did, the video of my playthrough here would have been far too long to be of any use). If you're stuck on any particular part, the timing for avoiding some of the beams is very specific, so it isn't always about being as fast as possible. Try to wait on a platform and jump over a couple of beams before continuing on.

Eventually you'll land on the ground and will need to damage two more points, while jumping over beams. Finish Tom off and the trophy is yours.
  • Defeat Hel

Hel is the second boss of the game, found in the chapter In Her Own Image. To defeat her, you will need to counter several of her sword attacks in a row before hitting her, and then she'll jump to a distant platform. Follow her while avoiding her projectiles, and then engage in another sword fight. I found the timing of this fight to be quite challenging, and there are no checkpoints, so if you'd like a visual reference of her attacks, please see the video below:
  • Defeat the Keymaster

The Keymaster is the third boss of the game, found in the chapter The Summit. Mara only has a few attacks in her repertoire, and they're all fairly easy to telegraph. You'll also get a checkpoint for each segment of health you knock off, making her a pretty manageable boss. She will start either by sweeping her tentacles across the floor or attacking you vertically. Jump or evade each of these. Eventually she will thrust straight at you. You want to stand with your back to one of the four power boxes on the outside edge of the platform, and move at the last second. When she gets stuck, attack the tentacle.

The next two waves will vary only in that she'll electrify sections of the floor or make walls you have to stay within. There will also be a moment when the billboards surrounding you will be accessible. Grapple up to them and keep moving until the floor is no longer electrified. She'll repeat these sequences until you kill her and earn the trophy.
  • Save the residents of Sector Five

Story-related. Once you turn the fans back on during the chapter Breathe In, the trophy will unlock.
