Introduction:
Gal*Gun is a Japanese on-rail shooter where you find yourself in the shoes of a second year high school student, Tenzou. After an unlikely run in with Patako, a cupid-like character, you now find that every girl in the school wants to confess their newly found love to you! Even worse, you only have until the end of the day to find your true love, or be cursed to loneliness forever! Armed with a pheromone gun, and with the aid of Patako, you must chose one of four heroines to swoon and conquer, all while repelling ever other girl in school, who all want a piece of you.
This game was never released outside of Japan, so it was never translated and localized into English. Because of this, all the trophies are in Japanese. The English translations for each trophy will, however, be listed directly below their respective trophies for further simplification.
General Information:
The game has 3 major "modes" that all are utilized pretty often.
- The first being the rail-shooter. Here is where you will spend most of your time. This section work similar to other rail-shooters, where you aim your on screen cross-hair at enemies in order to eliminate them. Every girl is unique, and each have their own, respective, weak spots where, if shot, will eliminate them in one blow; this one-shot elimination being dubbed an Ecstasy Shot.
- The next major mode feature is Doki Doki Mode, which is where a girl is singled out and you get a chance to get close and personal with her. In this mode, it's up to you to fill up the girls Doki Doki Meter. This is done by shooting her in different sections of her body. When scrolling over each part, a bit of text will briefly appear. The larger this text, the faster the meter will fill if the area is shot. If successful, a wave of euphoria will cover the screen, wiping out any other enemies that may be present. This is also how information for each girl is collected for their bios.
- The last bit of game mode are the dating sim sections. This is just like any other example of dating sim. A question will be asked to you and you're presented with 3 options for answering. This, coupled with your stats and performance in route-specific mini-games, will determine how much the main heroine loves you back. This will determine route endings, between bad end, good end, and true end.

A Translation of the Games Opening Questions
Each Girls Preferable Stat Info
Step 1: Route Playthroughs
The first playthrough of each route is pretty inconsequential. You can do whatever you want, for the most part. As long as each route is completed, it doesn't matter what ending is obtained. Any Good or True endings will net you a trophy for that respective girl, while a bad one won't, but all endings are needed to fill the heroines bios, so bad ending will be needed at some point. A playthrough for each of the 3 endings is required for each of the 4 girls.
Going into Doki Doki Mode with several girls is also recommended, as to start filling up bios. See Profile Conquest for more info on bios.
At the end of each route, you are given the chance to have a proper Doki Doki Mode with your main heroine. During one of these, for each heroine, you must fill the Doki Doki Meter up to 200%. The meter will only display up to 100%, but 200% shouldn't take to long to get to with some well placed charged shots. It's recommended that you just continue to shoot until the trophies appear.
Most likely, here you should also get an S and an SS Rank. If not, these will be obtained later on when the arcade mode runs are done.

Step 2: Bio Collection and Mini-game Mastery
Here is where the real grinding begins. Now the bios for each and every student and teacher must be gathered. This is easiest done by repeatedly playing through story mode routes, because arcade play makes Doki Doki usage more scarce and it's harder to fill the meter.
While you play through the story mode for bios, now is the time to "master" each mini-game since they're all on the way.

- Super Monster Hunter
- Super Iron Ball Master

Step 3: DDC and Arcade Grinding
Now all that's left is Doki Doki Carnival and the arcade mode. DDC is simply playing every scenario, with not much in risk or challenge. Finishing DDC will also finish the last of the bios needed for the trophy. Arcade Mode, however, is a challenge which may take some learning. It's similar to hard mode, where damage taken is increased, health regeneration is low, and damage output is low. Simply passing each of the 5 routes (1 for each girl and an "all route") will net you a trophy each, as well as get you a "God Rank". Using the "All Route" to repeatedly get the "God Rank"is where you should grind for titles. Meaning the only thing left to clean up and collect are the "Ecstasy Shot" trophies.
