    How to unlock Fashion

Food - There is one basic type of food. It looks like a little tadpole. Some have one tail, some have two, some have three, and some have four. Small pieces do not fill up your segments as quickly as large pieces. To fill 1 segment I believe you need to eat 4 single pieces of food or TWO double pieces, or ONE quadruple piece. The trick is to eat food SLOWLY and only ONE piece at a time. Each time you eat a piece of food WAIT and WATCH your creature. You will see the segments start to "pulse" through the body of your creature. If you fill all the segments of your creature, and then eat one more piece of food you will grow a new segment and all your filled segments will go empty again. Basically, you start over, but with one new body segment.
The picture here is a 2-tail piece of food.

Gems - Eating a red gem (from advanced creatures) will grant you growth in a set of wings from a segment. For this trophy, you will need to pay extra close attention to which segment closest to your tail is filled. If it is not the desired segment, eat more food and/or creatures, till you have the desired segment filled ~ then and only then, eat the gem. Check this each time before eating a gem.

    • Choose the red phoenix creature.
Your newly hatched creature should start with a slight growth on the first segment:
    • Eat a single red gem, your creature should now have a small wing on the first segment:
    • Eat another red gem, your creature should now have a full set of wings on the first segment:
    • If you don't have a third segment, eat food SLOWLY, WAITING for your creature to stop "pulsing". Keep eating food this way so you have a third segment, and continue till the first three segments are full. If you have any additional segments, they should be empty:
    • Eat another red gem, your creature should now enlarge on the third segment:
    • Eat another red gem, your creature should now have a small wing on the third segment:
    • Eat another red gem, your creature should now have a full set of wings on the third segment.
Then continue eating food till the fifth segment can be enlarged by eating another red gem:
    • Eat another two red gems, and your creature should now have full wings on segments 1, 3 & 5.
By now you should have an understanding of the pattern.
Now all you have to do is keep this up, fully extending segments 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9.
Once your creature is 10 segments long in this manner, the FASHION trophy will unlock:

  • um, can anybody put it in simpler terms? lol
  • I don't understand that at all :(
  • This didn't help me at all, Though I understand it in hindsight. I'm going to try and explain it in a more of a "do this" way. Use the fifth creature (red guy) Filled segments of the creature have a glowing center, empty segments don't. When you eat "food" empty segments fill up, starting from the head end, until all are a full, then a new segment is added to the end and all of the segments revert to empty. When you kill advanced creatures they release "red gems" which are the smallish three pronged things with a tiny red center. If you eat 2 of these while having X amount of filled segments, the Xth segment will get wings What you want to do is eat food until only the first segment is full, then eat 2 gems, that segment will then get wings, then eat food until 3 segments ar
  • what you want to do is eat food until only the first segment is full, then eat 2 gems, that segment will then get wings, then eat food until 3 segments are full and then eat 2 more gems, the third segment will get wings, repeat this with 5,7,9,11 segments full so that wings are on every second segment. so if we let O represent an empty segment + represent a full segment and X represent a full segment with wings, then the following should happen. }+OOOOOOO -> eat 2 gems -> }XOOOOOOO -> eat food -> }X++OOOOO -> eat 2 gems -> }X+XOOOOOO and so on.
  • Just so you know, you don't need to have full wings created for this, or do each segment in order (1, 3, 5, 7, etc.). I did mine out of order due to accidentally eating a gem which enlarged segment 7; I then gave it full wings and started on 3 and 9. I kept eating too much to get 5 to be the last filled segment, but when I eventually did, I ate just one gem to enlarge it and the trophy popped. EU, Journey CE disc version of the game.
