Flatland Vol. 1 is a fast-paced platformer created by Minimol Games and published by QUByte Interactive. This is the second installment of the Flatland series. Your goal is to complete all of the levels while avoiding enemies and obstacles. The levels themselves are quite quick, lasting 10-30 seconds at most but because of the speed of the platforming, you may also find you are dying a lot. Fortunately, there are trophies for dying up to 200 times so don't worry about dying!

There is a tutorial on the main menu that can cause some confusion. There are "dash" and "attack" moves but they are only present in the Square Fights Back mode. You can only sprint and jump in the other modes.

GLITCH WARNING: There is a glitch present in the Faster Than Light and Not Him Again modes. If you press pause while in either mode, you risk the trophy not unlocking. You need to complete either mode in one sitting.

This cube can be found in Level 10-1. Instead of continuing left after the first wall jump, jump to the left wall and jump up to find a second gate. This area has platforms that will toggle each time you jump off the floor.

This cube can be found in Level 12-1. Instead of going through the first yellow gate you see, drop down to a second gate. This area has a platform that toggles when you jump off the floor.

This cube can be found in Level 19-1. Stick to the left side when going down and you will find a tunnel leading to a gate. This area has platforms that toggle when you jump off the floor. The cube is at the end of the room on the opposite side of a toggling platform.

This cube can be found in Level 24-1. You will need to dash jump to the upper right while standing at the spot where the smash trap is. This area has platforms that toggle when you jump off the floor as well as an attacking enemy. The cube is nestled between some spikes.

This cube can be found in Level 25-1. You can see a gate behind a smash trap as you fall at the start of the level. You don't want to go through the first gate you see on the right side, you want to go through the one behind the smash trap. This area has some trampoline spots you will need to utilize while avoiding the spikes.

This cube can be found in Level 53-3. When you reach the second blue circle enemy, there is a trampoline at the bottom. To the right of this trampoline is a tunnel leading to another gate. In this next area, you will wall jump around a lot of spikes to reach the cube.

This cube can be found in Level 29-1. This level has toggling platforms as well as enemies. The cube is at the top of the screen, use the toggling platforms to wall jump to it.

This cube can be found in Level 41-2. Jump up through the gate at the top of the level. The next area has some toggling platforms and a projectile flying down the center. When you get through the next gate, continue the path right. It will be at the end of a long platform at the end of the section.

This cube can be found in Level 41-2. Jump up through the gate at the top of the level. The next area has some toggling platforms and a projectile flying down the center. When you get through the next gate, the cube will be right above you.

This cube can be found in the first level, Level 1-1. When you are falling, get to the wall and start wall jumping up. The cube will be at the top on the right side.

This trophy will unlock after collecting each of the 50 cubes. Even though the trophy icons show each cube as just a counter, each cube has a specific number that will unlock the specific trophy.

This trophy will pop after your tenth death. There is no in-game tracker for the number of deaths.
Don't Give Up!

Die 30 Times
This trophy will pop after your thirtieth death. There is no in-game tracker for the number of deaths.
Keep Going!

Die 50 Times
This trophy will pop after your fiftieth death. There is no in-game tracker for the number of deaths.
Die Hard

Die 100 Times
This trophy will pop after your one-hundredth death. There is no in-game tracker for the number of deaths.
DETERMINATION!

Die 200 Times
This trophy will pop after your two-hundredth death. There is no in-game tracker for the number of deaths. If you complete all modes without dying 200 times, just load up a level and run into the nearest enemy or obstacle over and over until this pops.

You're FASTER THAN LIGHT!

Complete Faster than Light mode
Faster Than Light is a mode where a timer is active for each level. You need to complete the level before the timer expires. Your Square character is the timer - the yellow will slowly disappear. When it is all gone, you will restart the level. There is no level select or save points in this mode - you will need to complete all levels in one sitting. If the game closes, you will need to restart from the first level of this mode.

GLITCH WARNING: There is a glitch present in Faster Than Light mode. If you press pause while in a level, there is a chance that some of the gates will not open, blocking you from finishing the level.

BIG BOSS

Complete Not Him Again mode
Not Him Again is a mode where the final boss is added to each level as an additional obstacle. There is no level select or save points in this mode - you will need to complete all levels in one sitting. If the game closes, you will need to restart from the first level of this mode.

GLITCH WARNING: There is a glitch present in Not Him Again mode. If you press pause in a level, the boss will stop chasing you. While this could prove useful, there is also a chance that some of the gates will not open, blocking you from finishing the level.

NEW MODE: Faster Than Light!

Unlock Faster Than Light mode
You need to collect 15 Master Cubes to unlock this mode. This will unlock naturally since you need to collect all the cubes anyway.
NEW MODE: Not Him Again

Unlock Not Him Again mode
You need to collect 35 Master Cubes to unlock this mode. This will unlock naturally since you need to collect all the cubes anyway.
NEW MODE: Square Fights Back

Unlock Square Fights Back
In order to unlock this mode, you need to collect 1,000 enemy parts. A good level to farm for enemy parts is level 56-3. There is a small counter each time you pick up a part, telling you how many you have collected. When you reach 1,000, this trophy will unlock.

Die for the first time
This trophy will pop after your first death. There is no in-game tracker for the number of deaths.
