Glitch Warning The Four Beast Master Hunts are glitching on players and not awarding the trophy after finishing the hunt. This includes the Bloodfang Sabretooth, The Great Scar Bear, The Snow Blood Wolf, an the Bloodtusk Mammoth - in case this happens backup your save before attempting any of the hunts.

Ubisoft is back at it again with Far Cry! This Year it's Prehistoric with Far Cry Primal. Guns? Forget about it! It's all about clubs, spears, and arrows this time around. You're Takkar, a caveman and member of the Wenja Tribe who finds himself in a battle to stay alive against crazed Udam Cannibals, Sun Walkers, and Prehistoric Wildlife in the Year 10,000 BCE. Takkar is tasked with quests to grow, and strengthen the Wenja tribe and meets specialists who help sharpen his hunting and survival skills throughout his journey leading up to the take down of the Sun Walkers & Udam tribes.

As far as the trophies go you're looking at an extremely easy platinum. This year there is no multiplayer in Far Cry Primal. None of the trophies are missable and can all be achieved on the lowest difficulty setting. There is a lot of materials needed for upgrading weapons/huts so whenever you can pick up rocks, wood and clay, do this as you play to save yourself some scavenging later. Also there are 184 collectibles in the game, thankfully only 80 of them are needed for a trophy. So be sure to pick up any if you happen to cross paths with them as you journey across the Oros!

Step 1: Complete the main story. Pick up any nearby materials / animals skins and collectibles

The most important thing is to pick up all nearby materials and upgrade your huts and weapons when they are available. As you're traveling the Oros take the time to get animals skins, Tame rare beasts, pick up slate, wood, clay and collectibles to save a large amount of hunting and scavenging the lands later on.

You will also be seeing enemy outposts, bonfires, and forts as you complete story quests. Take the opportunity to capture these as they serve as Fast Travel points and more importantly there are trophies related to them. Also 15 of the trophies are related to killing enemies with specific weapons. When you get a trophy for one weapon switch it up and use a different weapon for a while to once again save time.

Trophies Earned:
 This way to Oros
 Spearproof
 Liberator
 Uncaged
 Krati, Krati, Krati!
 Spiritual Adviser
 Mister Fix-it
 Gray Huntress
 Dead Eye
 Twelve Labors
 Subdivisions
 Home Improvement
 Mapmaker

Step 2: Capture any remaining outposts, bonfires, and forts while collecting any collectibles. Tame 7 of the 17 Beasts and complete ALL side activities

After you have finished the first step you want to focus on clearing out the remaining camps and getting each kill related trophy as you do. There are 15 trophies related to killing enemies a specific way so while you work to clear each outpost and bonfire it's smart to be killing each enemy with the weapon you still need a trophy for.

There are 17 wild animals that you can tame and use against your enemies. While there is not a trophy for taming them all there is one for taming at least 7 of them. However, I do recommend taming any beast and rare beast that you find as you play to aid in your fight against the enemy tribes.

Quests marked with a Orange icon on your map typically "Help Wenja" or "Tribal Clash" are side activities that all have to be completed in order to get all the skill points. Now would be a great time to start completing these as well.

Trophies Earned:
 Skirmish
 Conquest
 Expansion
 Killer's Belief
 And Stay Down
 Skewered
 Sharpshooter
 Inflammable
 David and Goliath
 Outta My Way
 Bad Trip
 BEES!
 Quickdraw
 Right On Target
 Bullseye
 Gotcha
 Sic 'Em
 Feathered Friend
 Cave Hoarder
 Good Neighbor
 Veterinarian
 Crush your Enemies
 Master Tracker
 Menagerie
 Armorer
 Tears Of Shame

Step 3: Finish upgrading any remaining huts in your Village. Complete the Four "Beast Master Hunts" and acquire all the skills

Now that you're nearing the end of your platinum you should be well armed and have most weapon upgrades. These are going to be needed to take out the four strongest animals in the game. To be able to tame the three tamable beast you first need to fight them so be prepared.

The only thing missing should be  Expert Wenja and if you have done every story quest, captured every outpost then you'll need to start completing side activities. All of the side activities will need to be completed to learn all the skills. They are marked as Orange Icons on your map with either Black Skulls, Hand Prints, or Question Marks in the center. After having learned your final skill you will be awarded your platinum trophy! Congratulations!!

Trophies Earned:
 Kanda Of Faith
 Mark 4 Wenja
 Real Estate Baron
 Here Kitty
 Big Teddy
 Endangered
 Good Boy

51 trophies ( 10  38  13  )

  • Obtain all the Trophies.

You've mastered the Oros and become the Apex Predator, Congratulations!

  • Tame the bloodfang sabretooth.

Glitched: For some reason certain players are not being awarded the trophy after completing the Hunt. There is not any known cause or fix for this other than restarting the hunt. So backup your save before starting these.

Bloodfang is tamable after you recruit Jayma the Hunter Specialist to the Wenja Village. She will eventually give you a quest called "The Tall Elk", after completing this she tells you of the strongest beasts in the Oros, 3 of which are tamable.

Make sure you are well equipped with the best weapons and have tons of arrows etc. To be able to tame this Sabre Tooth Tiger you first have to fight him. Don't be afraid of killing him because the beast can't die. Once his health is gone, go up to him and hold  to tame. The fight is not hard if you are playing on an easy difficulty setting. Below is a video of the hunt.

  • Tame the great scar bear.

Glitched: Please see  Here Kitty for more info

The Great Scar Bear is tamable after you recruit Jayma the Hunter Specialist to the Wenja Village. She will eventually give you a quest called "The Tall Elk", after completing this she tells you of the strongest beasts in the Oros, 3 of which are tamable.

Make sure you are well equipped with the best weapons and have tons of arrows etc. To be able to tame this Great Scar Bear you first have to fight him. Don't be afraid of killing him because the beast can't die. Once his health is gone, go up to him and hold  to tame. The fight is not hard if you are playing on an easy difficulty setting. Below is a video of the hunt.

  • Fight the bloodtusk mammoth.

Glitched: Please see  Here Kitty for more info

The Bloodtusk Mammoth will be available to fight after you recruit Jayma the Hunter Specialist to the Wenja Viilage. She will eventually give you a quest called "The Tall Elk", after completing this she tells you of the strongest beasts in the Oros, 3 of which are tamable. The mammoth however is not tameable and needs to be killed. Before heading North make sure you have upgraded you winter clothes to be able to survive the cold temperatures.

Make sure you are well equipped with the best weapons and have tons of arrows etc. The fight is not hard if you are playing on an easy difficulty setting. Below is a video of the hunt.

  • Tame the snowblood wolf.

Glitched: Please see  Here Kitty for more info

The Snowblood Wolf is tamable after you recruit Jayma the Hunter Specialist to the Wenja Village. She will eventually give you a quest called "The Tall Elk", after completing this she tells you of the strongest beasts in the Oros, 3 of which are tamable.

Make sure you are well equipped with the best weapons and have tons of arrows etc. To be able to tame this Snowblood Wolf you first have to fight him. Don't be afraid of killing him because the beast can't die. Once his health is gone, go up to him and hold :sqaure: to tame. The fight is not hard if you are playing on an easy difficulty setting. Below is a video of the hunt.

  • Build or upgrade any 2 village huts.

You can build upgrades to your hut as soon as Sayla brings you back to the base. Takkar's Cave and Sayla's Hut should be the first two upgrades you can build. Hut upgrades require animal skins, wood, rock and reeds so don't pass up these materials when you see them.

  • Your Wenja tribe reaches a population of 20.

Growing your tribe is one of the main objectives of this game. There are many opportunity's to save Wenja from Udam in random encounters. You can also gain population from capturing outpost, bonfires etc. This trophy will come naturally as you play.

  • Kill and skin 1 tamed beast.

Tame any of the 17 beast. Call one in through the beast menu and kill it, then skin it for an this trophy. Below is a video for extra help.

  • Complete all hut upgrades.

There are 16 total hut upgrades. The 7 Wenja Specialists each have their own huts and Takkar has his Cave that can all be upgraded twice each. The first upgrade is not bad and can be done with basic slate/reeds etc but the second upgrade on each hut will take a lot of resources and in some cases "rare" plants or animal skins. Pay attention to the village menu by pressing the  to be able to see what hut needs what.

  • Eliminate 25 enemies using any takedown.

The takedown ability is a stealth kill. Approach the enemy from behind and press  and you will preform a takedown. You can also perform one of these whilst in combat with enemies as long as he has his back turned or is fighting your beast. Eventually you can learn a skill called "Death from Above. These takedowns also count toward the trophy.

After killing 25 enemies by takedowns the trophy is yours.

  • Eliminate 100 enemies using a club.

The Club is one of the first weapons you will craft in the very beginning of the game. The requirements here are simple. Just kill 100 human enemies with the Club. Enemies are in abundance throughout the Oros. Some just roaming around while others are posted at secret areas and outposts. You will have no issue getting these trophies if you use a weapon until the trophy pops then move on to another weapon that requires 100 kills.

Outposts and bonfires can be reset once you have captured them all to get kills with any weapon you might have missed. Utilize this if you need kills with a specific weapon.

  • Eliminate 100 enemies using a spear.

The Spear is one of the first weapons you will craft in the very beginning of the game. The requirements here are simple. Just kill 100 human enemies with the Spear.

  • Eliminate 100 enemies using a bow.

The Bow is one of the first weapons you will craft in the very beginning of the game. The requirements here are simple. Just kill 100 human enemies with the Spear.

  • Eliminate 50 enemies with fire.

There are a few ways to go about lighting your enemy on Fire. You can focus on getting this done early, set your arrows on fire before shooting the enemies and this will grant you a Fire kill. However there is another way using Fire Bombs unlocked through the Izila Skill Tree. You can also learn a Skill under the Beast Master skill tree "Owl Weapon Drop" to drop fire bombs on groups of enemies.

  • Eliminate 10 enemies using a sling.

The Sling can be crafted after you save Jayma and upgrade her hut once. The Sling powerfully spins rocks around and throws them in any direction you want. To kill an enemy with the Sling you need to hit them in the head preferably at close range to make it easier. After your 10th kill with the Sling the trophy will pop.

  • Eliminate 25 enemies while riding any beast.

First you will have to learn the appropriate skills under Beast Master and Fighting skill trees. Tensay teaches you how to tame at the start of the game but you will not be able to ride anything until you Bring "Karoosh", the Wenja Fighting specialist back to the village and you unlock these skills - Tame Apex Predators, Mammoth Rider and Beast Rider. The easiest way to get this trophy is during the "Fall Of Batari" Story quest. You'll be made to ride a Mammoth through the Izila Homeland Gates an there will be tons of enemies to kill with it. The kills are cumulative across different beasts so you can kill a few enemies while riding a Sabre Tooth and finish it off with a Mammoth.

  • Influence 25 enemies using poison.

Firstly you will need to attack Dah of Udams Fort called "Big Darwa Fort". After you successfully confront Dah and bring him back to the Wenja home you will now have yourself a Poison Specialist.

Dah allows you to create Berserk Bombs & Berserk Shards which will make your enemies attack each other. Just simply Influence an enemy 25 times with either the Bombs or the Shards to get the trophy.

  • Eliminate 10 enemies using sting bombs.

Sting Bombs can be crafted after you upgrade Takkar's cave to level 1. You will need to go out and find Bee hives located on trees through the Oros lands. Walk up to the hive and collect the clusters, you will also need to collect some animal hide. After you have these two things open the crafting menu and select "Sting Bombs".

  • Eliminate 15 enemies using throwing shards.

You will have to Recruit "Wogah" the Crafting Specialist to be able to get throwing shards. Wogah will give you a quest called "The Blood of Oros" - after you complete this you will be able to craft a "Stone Shard" in your crafting menu.

  • Kill a target 50 feet away or more using a spear.

This trophy can be a little tricky. There are plenty of opportunity's to try for this but by far the easiest way is to head over to the "Kapal Outpost". Use the Owl to put a waypoint on a target who isn't moving, this way you can see how far away you are from the target. Then get out your spear and try your luck. If you miss let the enemies kill you and you will restart outside of the outpost LINK.

Credit to Hyreduki for this - Below is a image of a sweet spot for this trophy. If you're having issues unlocking this trophy head to the area that is marked with a Red Square. The Yellow Circle is the Target you're suppose to be killing. Put a Waypoint on the Target using your Owl. Now if you're trying for the Spear trophy head to the Blue Cross and you should be 50 meters away. If you're trying for the Bow trophy head to the Blue circle an you will be 70 meters away. If you miss run away about 30 or 40 meters an come back the targets will always respawn!

  • Kill a target 70 feet away or more using an arrow.

You will need to craft the Long Bow in order to shoot a target 70 feet or more away. Jayma the Hunter Wenja Specialist will teach you how to craft it. It'll take North Back Rock, North Cedar and North Clay to craft. Go to an uncaptured outpost or bonfire and use your owl to put a way point on a target who isn't moving. Then shoot them. If you miss let the enemies kill you and you will restart outside of the outpost.

  • Eliminate 10 enemies using hunting traps.

Hunting traps can be placed anywhere in the Oros. Firstly learn both Melee Resistance skills, Then make sure your traps are equipped and run straight up to the enemy and place it down directly in front of them. The trap should kill the enemy and injure you a little bit.

  • Eliminate 50 hostile targets using a tamed beast.

After taming a beast you can use them to kill enemies. The Beast will fight on it's own if enemies try and kill it but you can also direct it where to go by holding down  and pressing  with a target highlighted. Do this 50 times for the trophy.

  • Eliminate 15 enemies using your owl.

The Owl is your eyes in the Sky allowing you to get a lay of the land and spot and tag enemies. To kill a enemy with the Owl you first need to learn the Skill "Owl Attack" under the Beast Master Skill set.

Press  to summon the Owl, find a enemy and attack with  - Below is a video guide of how to approach this trophy.

  • Learn all skills.

Note: When your XP bar stops rising, search for the Orange side activities that give you a skill point to get the ones you're missing. If you don't have any appearing on your map then you will need to complete a few Village missions marked with Orange Question marks.

There are 79 skills to be learned under the skill tree menu. This will be one of the last trophies you'll unlock due to the high amount of XP and skill points needed to obtain all of them. As you complete Story quests be sure to do the Help Wenja, Beast Kill and Tribal Clash side activities marked with Orange icons on your map that award you a skill point and high XP. If you check the village tab by pressing the  you will be able to see your XP level and the Wenja village population. Somewhere around level 60 the XP seems to cap out and you will only be able to get skill points through these side activities so to lessen the grind on yourself complete these as you cross paths with them. After completing a number of them you will notice there will not be any showing up on your map. If you check your Village there should be "3" Orange Question marks, each being a different side quest. Start doing these until one of the villager quest awards skill points to get your remaining ones.

If you still need XP, outposts, bonfires and forts all award more XP to players who capture them in complete stealth - no alert, no horns. Try and capture these stealthily if possible. If you have captured them already resetting them is an option to get more kills and XP. A quick way to stealth a challenging outpost would be to use your Owl to drop Beserker Bombs on the enemies as they will all fight each other until death. Just be aware you might have to kill the final enemy or wait until the poison kills him.

Credit to Ashbo82 for the helpful tips on Earning skill points!

  • Use the crafting ability 100 times to craft weapons or arrows.

Crafting is one of the main things you need to do to survive in the game. Weapons and Arrows both take supplies such as Alder Wood, Hard Wood, Reeds etc. This trophy will come naturally as you play and do the other trophies related to killing enemies.

If, for some reason you were unable to achieve this trophy through natural gameplay then go around collecting any type of wood in the game and craft arrows until the trophy pops as these are easier than weapons to craft.

  • Climb to the peak of Pardaku Lookout and leap off.

Climb to the top of Pardaku lookout and jump into the water below. Video guide of the location and how to do it is below.

  • Capture 10 outposts.

Simply capture 10 of the 15 outposts. They are marked on the Map as a Red icon with white mountains in the middle. for more information on outposts please see  Expansion.

  • Capture all outposts.

There are 15 Outpost in Far Cry Primal. They are marked on your map with a Red icon with white mountains in the middle. Bonfires an Forts are different an do not count for these.

Capturing Outposts is easy if you remain stealth an do not allow the enemies to blow the horns located within the outpost. In the easier outpost there will be one horn blower guard an one horn. In the later Outpost the difficulty gets upped due to more enemies, horns, an Heavy's.

If you happen to break your silence an the enemies start to call reinforcements by blowing the horns you will have to kill all reinforcements as well to capture the outpost. Typically you're looking at 10 enemies stealth 20 if you go loud.

The Bow and Spear are great stealth weapons Both Arrows an Spears can be retrieved from the dead corpses an can be shot while carrying bodies if you have the "Use Weapons while moving bodies" skill.

  • Capture all forts.

Story related an cannot be missed

There are Four forts in Far Cry Primal. All of the forts are part of the main story line an you will capture them as you progress.

Forts are a lot harder then Outpost. You have a lot more Heavy enemies an a Boss that you need to fight in order to capture it. Two of the Forts have Specialist that will help you learn new skills.

  • Tame 7 beasts.

If you do not then summon your beast and hurt it by stabbing it, then heal it by walking up to it and holding  meat. If you need meat, kill another animal to get some.

  • Pickup 80 collectibles.

There are 184 collectibles in Far Cry Primal. Thankfully only 80 of these are needed for the trophy. It's still a bit grindy though.

    • Cave Paintings - There are 22 Cave Paintings in the game and these form a little riddle. Look at the painting and try an find the nearby location of what it is to find the cache of supplies.
    • Dashya Hands - These are little rocks with white hand prints on them. Marked on your map as blue circles with a black hand print, these are the easiest collectible to find. There are 100 of these throughout the Oros.
    • Wenja Bracelets - When next to a Bracelet the map has a blue circle in which you need to search to find it. There are 25 bracelets throughout the Oros.
    • Izila Masks- There are 25 Izila masks in Far Cry Primal and are normally found hanging up alongside cliff edges. They can also be found just sitting upright on the ground. These can not be picked up, You'll have to smash them by either using the Sling or Arrows. They are marked on your map as a blue upside down triangle with three black dots in the center.
    • Spirit Totems- You will rarely come across these as there are only 12. Marked on your map as a blue statue you'll have to approach the totem and hold  to place it.

There are tons of hidden locations in this game. You will most likely achieve this without even trying. The White "Question Marks" you see on your map are considered Hidden Locations. • Complete 5 "Beast Kill" quests.

Beast Kill quests are marked with an Orange icon with a Paw print in the middle. You'll see many of these throughout your playthrough. If you don't see any, reveal more of the map to get more activities to appear.
