Introduction

From the makers of your favorite word puzzles comes Lightwood Game's next installment of Word Search! Included is 64 puzzles spread across 4 different epic categories that is sure to keep you searching and highlighting for hours. Unlike the previous POWGI version of Word Search, the Epic Word Search Collection allows you to work on up to 16 puzzles at one time versus only being able to work on one. While there are 64 individual puzzles, you'll only need to complete 4 in full and then find individual words in another 32 for the platinum, making this another quick and easy gem for all trophy hunters.

For further clarification, each category includes 16 individual puzzles, but they all share one massive grid. Each puzzle is a different color so you can easily separate them. The word list will be on the right and will ONLY show the words that you can find in the current play area. The more you scroll around, the more words will appear (note that these will also be color coordinated to match their puzzle's designated color). is your hint button. When used, it will highlight 1 letter on the grid. The letter will either be the first or last letter of one of the words listed on the right. Note that some words may cross over into a different puzzle's grid from time to time, so keep that in mind when you're looking for words that run along the edge of the puzzle.

Walkthrough

Step 1: Complete 1 puzzle in each of the 4 Epic Categories while going for the miscellaneous trophies

You'll need to complete 1 puzzle in each category: Epic Foods, Epic Journeys, Epic Animals, and Epic Sports. The smallest puzzles available in each are listed under their individual trophies, so be sure to check those out before you start. You also want to go ahead and crank out the miscellaneous trophies (mostly the hint related trophies as the overview ones will come naturally) so you don't have to worry about those later on. This step will take you the longest, but you can spam for hints the entire time, making this much easier than it otherwise would have been. After this step, you will have earned:

Step 2: Complete the individual word trophies

This step will go by rather quickly, especially if you're using a guide. You'll need to find 32 individual words spread out across the 4 categories. Their locations and associating puzzles are all listed under their individual trophies. Depending on which puzzles you used for step 1, there is a chance you will have found some of these already (especially if you're using the recommended puzzles). Once you have found all of the individual words, you will have earned:

This will come naturally as you work on just about every other trophy. Just find one word in any puzzle and the trophy is yours.
A Lot On Your Plate

Get 100% in any section of Epic Food Word Search
"Rising in the Oven" has the least amount of words to find (86) so it's best to get this trophy in that block. As you play, just keep hitting to get hints for where the words start/end. The word list on the right only shows the words that are in view of your play area. The hints will start with the words that completely fit on the screen and then move to the words that only have partial letters showing. Also note that some words will crossover into other sections, so just be mindful if you're running along the edge of the block. Once you find all the words, the trophy will unlock.
Are We Nearly There Yet?

Get 100% in any section of Epic Journeys Word Search
"Everest Expedition" and "To the Center of the Earth" both have the least amount of words to find (85) so either of these will work for this trophy. Personally, I recommend using "To the Center of the Earth" as the words are not very complex which can make them easier to find. As you play, just keep hitting to get hints for where the words start/end. The word list on the right only shows the words that are in view of your play area. The hints will start with the words that completely fit on the screen and then move to the words that only have partial letters showing. Also note that some words will crossover into other sections, so just be mindful if you're running along the edge of the block. Once you find all the words, the trophy will unlock.
Bit Between Your Teeth

Get 100% in any section of Animals Food Word Search
"At the Butcher" has the least amount of words to find (86) so it's best to get this trophy in that block. As you play, just keep hitting to get hints for where the words start/end. The word list on the right only shows the words that are in view of your play area. The hints will start with the words that completely fit on the screen and then move to the words that only have partial letters showing. Also note that some words will crossover into other sections, so just be mindful if you're running along the edge of the block. Once you find all the words, the trophy will unlock.
The Gloves Are Off

Get 100% in any section of Epic Sports Word Search
"Cheerleading" has the least amount of words to find (89) so it's best to get this trophy in that block. As you play, just keep hitting to get hints for where the words start/end. The word list on the right only shows the words that are in view of your play area. The hints will start with the words that completely fit on the screen and then move to the words that only have partial letters showing. Also note that some words will crossover into other sections, so just be mindful if you're running along the edge of the block. Once you find all the words, the trophy will unlock.
Sixth Sense

Request a hint
At any point while playing, hit to activate a hint. Do this once to unlock the trophy.
Quest Marker

Find a word using a hint
When you use a hint ( ), a letter will light up in the play area. This will 99% of the time be the first letter to one of the words on the right, but sometimes it'll be the last letter, so just keep that in mind. Starting with that letter, complete the word it belongs to. Once you're done, the trophy will unlock.
Side Mission

Ignore a hint
When you use a hint ( ), a letter will light up in the play area. Completely ignore the letter that is lit up and spell any word that does NOT include that letter square. Once you do, the trophy will unlock. The hint will remain when you do this - to get rid of it, just scroll out of view of the letter.
World Map

Look at the puzzle overview
You'll be getting a lot of use out of the map feature as you work towards so this will most likely unlock naturally. At any point while you're playing, press to open up the "overview" menu (the map) and the trophy will unlock.
Fast Travel

Jump to another section
When you have the Overview/Map menu open ( ), you can quickly travel to any other category block. Select any category block other than the one you're currently on and you'll fast travel to it, unlock the trophy.
Holy Crepe

Find CREPE in Epic Food Word Search
In the Epic Food Puzzles, head to the category "The Most Important Meal" (top row, 2nd from the left). Crepe will be visible in the 2nd column as soon as the puzzle loads.
Hole Foods

Find DOUGHNUTin Epic Food Word Search
You can get this trophy alongside Mightier Than the Swordde as they're both in this puzzle.

In the Epic Food Puzzles, head to the category "Counting Carbs" (3rd row, 2nd from the left). Doughnut will be visible in the 7th column as soon as the puzzle loads.

Find EDAM in Epic Food Word Search
You can get this trophy alongside No Whey! as they're both in this puzzle.

In the Epic Food Puzzles, head to the category "Mooooooooo!" (2nd row, 2nd from the left). Scroll all the way to the bottom right of this area so you are on the edges of neighboring sections (blue will be beneath you and red will be to the right). Edam will be visible on the left side of the play area (the "M" is actually in the blue section).

Scroll to the bottom left area of this color block so you can see the neighboring sections (the red section will be on your left and the purple section will be below you). Find SWISSROLL in Epic Food Word Search

In the Epic Food Puzzles, head to the category "Rising in the Oven" (bottom row, 2nd from the left). Scroll all the way right until you hit the edge of this section (the neighboring section on the right is red and the colors blend together pretty well, so just make sure you stay in the correct puzzle). Swissroll is spelled backwards starting in the 6th row from the top. You'll need to scroll back left a little bit to finish it up.

In the Epic Animals Puzzles, head to the category "Animal Sounds" (2nd row, far left block). Scroll all the way right until you can see the purple section on the right. Make sure you can also see the red section above you (just for a better reference). Scroll down to reveal another 5-6 rows below you. The tail end of Onomatopoeia will be visible on the left, spelled out horizontally. Scroll a little to the left to finish off the word.
