Introduction

Lightwood Games is back again for the second edition of their massive word search puzzle game, Epic Word Search. There are 4 categories to choose from, each with their own 12 "mini puzzles". With hundreds of words to find, you can easily spend hours playing this, but if you're just going for trophies, you only need to complete 4 "mini puzzles" (1 in each section), and then find individual words for the majority of the trophies.

Walkthrough

Step 1: Find all the individual word-related trophies

Each puzzle category has 8 word-related trophies that you need to find within the smaller "mini" puzzles. Their exact locations are provided in the guide below and iBaddriveri's walkthrough is also provided under Considerably Large should you prefer a video to play along to. Make use of the Overview () as this will make jumping to and from each section much easier (and quicker). Don't worry too much about using the hint button, you'll do that next step. After you're done finding all 24 individual words, you will have earned:

Step 2: Complete one section within each category and get the 3 hint-related trophies

You don't need to complete each massive puzzle in full for platinum, you just need to complete one section in each of the 4 categories. As you're completing the sections, make sure you use your hint button often to make it easier on yourself. When you do, you also want to make sure you ignore the hint at least once, then of course use the hint at least once. If you complete all the puzzles in the game before getting these three trophies, you'll need to delete your save file (to reset the puzzles) to get them. After this step, you will have earned:

Find your first word
This will unlock naturally as you go for just about every other trophy on this list. Find and highlight any word in any puzzle for the first time and this trophy will unlock.
Star Spangled

Get 100% in any section of Epic America Word Search
There are 12 sections to the Epic America Word Search puzzle. You just need to complete one for this trophy. Their difficulty ranges and is subjective to the player, but all the words you need to find will be listed on the right side. The ones that are showing are words that currently have visible letters showing on your current play screen. You can spam to get a hint for all their locations as well. Find all the words in any of the 12 sections and the trophy will unlock.
Graveyard Smash

Get 100% in any section of Epic Monster Word Search
There are 12 sections to the Epic Monster Word Search puzzle. You just need to complete one for this trophy. Their difficulty ranges and is subjective to the player, but all the words you need to find will be listed on the right side. The ones that are showing are words that currently have visible letters showing on your current play screen. You can spam to get a hint for all their locations as well. Find all the words in any of the 12 sections and the trophy will unlock.
What a Scorcher

Get 100% in any section of Epic Summer Word Search
There are 12 sections to the Epic Summer Word Search puzzle. You just need to complete one for this trophy. There are 12 sections to the Epic Rock Word Search puzzle. You just need to complete one for this trophy. Their difficulty ranges and is subjective to the player, but all the words you need to find will be listed on the right side. The ones that are showing are words that currently have visible letters showing on your current play screen. You can spam to get a hint for all their locations as well. Find all the words in any of the 12 sections and the trophy will unlock.
Sixth Sense

You must get this BEFORE you complete all of the puzzles available in the game, otherwise you won't be able to get a hint/use one. When you're in any incomplete word search puzzle, simply press to get a hint. A starting or ending letter of an un-highlighted word will start to sparkle and the trophy will unlock.
Quest Marker

Missable.

You must get this BEFORE you complete all of the puzzles available in the game, otherwise you won't be able to get a hint/use one. When you're in any incomplete word search puzzle, press to get a hint. A starting or ending letter of an un-highlighted word will start to sparkle. Highlight the word the sparkling letter belongs to (it'll be one of the words showing on the right side) and when you do, the trophy will unlock.
Side Mission

Ignore a hint
Missable.

You must get this BEFORE you complete all of the puzzles available in the game, otherwise you won't be able to get a hint/use one. When you're in any incomplete word search puzzle, press to get a hint. A starting or ending letter of an un-highlighted word will start to sparkle. Ignore this letter completely and find any other word that does not include that sparkling letter. When you do, the trophy will unlock.
World Map

Look at the puzzle overview
While inside any puzzle, press to open up the "world view", or, overview. From here, you can quickly move to any section available in the current word search puzzle you're playing. This will make finding the individual word-related trophies much easier to find as this is also how you fast travel (see Fast Travel .
Fast Travel

Jump to another section
While inside any puzzle, press to open up the "world view", or, overview. When this screen is open, you can fast travel to and from any section in the current word search puzzle you're playing. Choose any section other than the one you were already on to unlock this trophy.

Find CHICAGO in Epic America Word Search
"Chicago" is located in the "Get Your Kicks" section (second row, far left, green area) of the America Word Search. Arguably one of the easiest words on this trophy list to find, it starts in the top left corner of this area and extends right on the top row. The word itself will be spelled horizontally:

Fowl Language

Find CHICKEN in Epic America Word Search
"Chicken" is located in the "Mmmm... Hamburger!" section (second row, third from the left, red area) of the America Word Search. Inside this red section, scroll all the way to the bottom right letter (will be an "A"). The "N" starts 4th row up from the bottom, 11th from the right. The word itself will be spelled diagonally, down to the right:

"Houston" is located in the "Man On The Moon" section (bottom row, far left, green area) of the America Word Search.
